Aleksandr Sharapov

Really good banya.

Angela U

Was unimpressed. Old and dingy in spa areas & locker rooms. Didn't feel relaxing.

Paul Baraz

Great Heat to recover from the cold

David Robert

Yeeeeeees . I couldnt be more pleased with this . I will be returning for the rest of my life . Cold plunge pool right after the hot stream room , back and forth till I'm full noodle . Resturant portion built to resemble a russian train car . The windows are screens that play footage shot FROM a russian train . It feels like your traveling across europe as you suck back the special russian teapot . ... this experience has me thinking about defecting .

Alex Gunn

Awesome spot. So happy i found this place.

D. ISAEFF

Clean, open late bar, good kitchen.

A charming must go to

Of course, I had to check out the Russian bath house in the city. There was a groupon deal for admission. I think it was $15 for robes and everything. The actual spa/salon, etc has a lot of parts to it. There is a restaurant, nail salon, facial/massage area then you go downstairs to the locker room. In the female locker room, there is a steam room, sauna, hot tub, showers and toilets. Anyway, we did the traditional Russian thing. I cant remember the name. It consisted of going into the hot sauna area and having a lady hit you with a eucalyptus leaf. Yes, you heard me right. It was HOT in there. She had to be dying. Next was a salt scrub and then lotion and massage. The whole thing took about 35 mins. I think it was $55, plus 15% tip. Not terrible...but King Spa is so much cheaper. PROS In the city for the folk that dont like to go outside of Chicago You can wear a bathing suit! If you are uncomfortable walking around naked, this might be the place for you. Now, clothing is optional so others may be in their bday suits...but you dont have to. Alcohol that you can order and get it brought down to you. Kind of interesting because most people go to detox. HA Food if you are hungry...we didnt eat anything so I dont know if its any good Salt scrub felt amazing Lotion and massage after was amazing. It felt like she was slathering warm Crisco all over my body Easy street parking Lots of different services-nails, facials, massage, tanning, etc Steam room smelled of eucalyptus Staff was nice and helpful CONS Small area Expensive (when compared to King Spa, my favorite little bath house) I wasnt a fan of the hot eucalyptus leaf beating...but maybe you will be For me, it would do in a pinch, but I prefer King Spa.

Paul Mikhail

Very nice spa to take your significant other, I also had the food here, lamb chops were good.

Great steam and sauna rooms

Nicole Kman

The massage and facial I received were great. The scheduling was a little weird and unfortunately one of our party wasnt able to get a planned facial. We also weren't thrilled that the sauna was an extra $35 so we skipped that.

Paul Kharenko

All good and tasty.

Algimantas Remeika

We are hurting our bodies all possible ways. Give yourself a break, come to relax, rejuvenate your abused body. You'll know what is a good life after that. The pleasure will be double if you lucky to surrender yourself to Vasilij, banschik.

Dispatch KANIA INC.

Overpriced, dirty, no towels were available in men sauna, slow kitchen, rude management. They wont admit their fault on bad service, that is really frustrated. There is not enough staff to observe the safety rules in sauna, people are doing allot of stupid things inside and other can get injured .

Rika Chugunekova

All spa services and sauna are just great! BUT! Every time I come in I have bad experiences at the restaurant. The kitchen work very slow, I was waiting for my dumplings 30 mins, even there was only two tables besides mine. I know exactly how to cook dumplings and it never takes so long. Also my "to go" food has been ready 10 mins earlier then food that I ordered to eat. You guys need somebody else to work for all day shifts, not just a bartender.

Alexander Fedorov

Great place. Good service. Good food . Not cheap. But you get what you paid for.

Kyle Radon

We were the only people there that spoke English as a first language. Incredibly friendly staff, all from Russia or former USSR satellites. Great verity of baths and saunas. Co-ed space as well. Restaurant with great Russian food, nice bar with plenty of vodka.

Ashly Gaudette

Amazing spa I’m here now finishing my spa day with a cappuccino and beat salad. It’s st Patrick’s day so the place is empty which I hear is unusual but services were amazing, my skin feels great and I’m relaxed. Very clean everyone treated me friendly.

Anastasia Lyu

You can enjoy food and relax at sauna

Winston Posegate

The restaurant was a little expensive but not busy. The food was good, and the staff was friendly.

Baktybek Tazhibaev

I think this place is the best Russian spa in Chicago. I enjoy coming here with friends.

Al A

It's becoming more dirty than before, everything is overpriced, dirty towels, filthy, they just want your money without good service

Dmitry Plotkin

Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great prices. Totally opposite of the north Korea prisoner of war experience found at King Spa.

Greg Hanes

Very disappointed with the woman doing massages. Never going back. Id give it no stars if i could.

K Tempest Bradford

Technically 3.5, but I'm being generous since I had such a good time. I'm a big fan of Korean-style saunas and get myself to one whenever possible. However, on a recent trip to Chicago a friend suggested I try this place since it is much closer to where I'm staying than King Spa. I'll give anything a try once, and I'd been meaning to check out a Russian-style spa. The entrance fee here is a reasonable $30, cut in half to $15 on Mondays and Tuesday if you purchase a service. I decided on a deep tissue massage since I was very stressed and very much needed it. First we went down to the spa area. Red Square is a decent size, though it can only accommodate a couple dozen women in total and when there were around 10 in there at one time the place felt somewhat crowded. We came on a Monday, so that wasn't a problem most of our time there. There's a hot tub, a steam room that smells of mint, a Turkish steam sauna made from cedar wood that's very hot and mildly steamy, and a Russian sauna that gives you a drier heat. The steam room and hot tub are pretty small and can only fit 3 - 4 women at once. I enjoyed the heat level of the hot tub and that there are two powerful water jets that shoot a concentrated stream of water down that feels akin to a massage on the muscles. Really nice. Unfortunately, women do not observe the "Takje a shower before you go into hot tub" rule, and so I saw stuff floating in said water which did not make me want to spend a long time in there. Contrast this with Korean spas where such a thing hardly ever happens as the staff is quite diligent. I think the nakedness optional vibe is partly to blame. Go full Monty, ladies! There was one shower that poured freezing cold water down on you, which I loved. This made it possible to go in the Turkish sauna room, which otherwise felt overwhelmingly hot when you first go in. The steam room smelled amazing, but whenever the steam spigot came on it was SUPER loud and, if you are sitting in the wrong spot, it shoots steam right at your legs. One poor girl leapt up when it turned on and nearly fell she was so startled. The 30 minute deep tissue massage I got was AMAZING. The guy worked on my jaw and upper back/shoulders and I felt so relaxed when he was done. Then I went back to the warmth of the hot tub and steam room to relax my poor, battered muscles. I even fell asleep at one point. All this meant that I didn't have much residual pain later on or the next day. I just felt rejuvenated. Love the food in the restaurant. It's a little odd to go up there in a robe knowing that folks might be just in there not having come for the sauna but instead for the food. I do prefer the Korean way of things but would not object to coming to Red Square again. Loved my time there and it melted away a lot of stress.

Annette Lockette

The Red Square spa experience was awesome. I got a deal on Groupon for a spa day with massage and it was exactly what I needed after such a stressful week, I even paid a little more and laid in a tanning booth for 20 minutes the perfect topping for a long and stressful week. I plan to go today too,

Megan Murphy

Very nice place, clean, friendly staff. Went for sauna, hot tub, and platza. Platza was with Nellie - excellent experience. You will feel warmed to the bone and totally relaxed. Will go again.

Ion Mura

I am a often visitor there so saw the sauna with different levels of attendance, and I would give them closer to 3.5 stars, but yesterday I got poisoned from their mussels dish in restaurant, I think it was from broth in it, it was really salty and I tried to leave most of it in the plate, I didn't get food poisoned for many years and would not expect from a place like this to get it. So sorry guys, I will live you a better review next time, but getting poisoned was sub-par experience. Besides this overall its an ok place, as I love banyas, but there are definitely things that are left to be overseen like cold plunge water gets dirty if there are more people in there, the steam room in men's part are smelling like drain (and they get insulted if you tell them that, telling that they cleaned it, I believe they did but it doesn't smell any better, that's why its almost all the time empty, not many people could bare the smell). The plunge water some times gets over chlorinated, but most of the time its cold as it should be. Turkish room is the best here, russian room is too dry and too hot, more humidity and less temperature would make it better.

Krytskyi Group Inc

Very friendly staff and delicious food.

Great mikvah :)

Cp McCubbin

Awesome experience!! Piatza massage is worth it and the massage artists are amazing.

Mike zhilev

Used to be a bit better, but kind a slow lately. Cool place

Rebecca Clendenen

I love this place, but I'll also say that I just called to make an appointment and was put on hold without even being greeted. So that annoyed me.

El Toq

Best one in the city

Julia Kuzina

great place to relax in winter

Nick Star1k

Mixed crowd on a weekend, no way to enjoy banya when ppl don't understand what is it

Kathrine Fedorova

I want to begin by thanking the staff here because the customer service provided at Red Square Spa has always been amazing. Edward is definitely a strong asset on the team, not only for the way he serves and bartends, but for being respectful, easy to talk to, and for having an overall positive attitude. The design of the restaurant portion of the upstairs is a replica of the inside of a room in an Eastern European train; I felt as if I were travelling from Kyiv to Lviv! As for the food, Red Square definitely has one of the best tasting borschts in Chicago. Also, their shishkabobs, Ukrainian salo, and cake Napoleon were appetizing. I look forward to coming back and enjoying the sauna, food, and inviting atmosphere!

Alexey Chamkin

Very nice clean place with friendly staff. Has a restaurant and a bar. Has family friendly and separate male/female saunas. Has cold and hot pools. Sauna is hot. They also provide spa services. Parking could be a little pain. Parking lot is very small, but there are always some spots on the street.

rostislav Kislyuk

Goood please I like the food

David Blair

This place is inside of a spa. The tanning beds are good, well maintained. Go in the evening if possible for better customer service. When I have gone in the day I have had weird situations with one of the employees. She was trying to limit my time in the tanning bed on a $5 Tuesday because I was pale? I appreciate the concern but you can't tell how someone's skin reacts to UV exposure from their initial color, and I tan responsibly and would never go in the full time if my skin couldn't handle it. She continued to go back and forth with me for a few minutes about it which I've never experienced before at an LA Tan. They treat the wealthy men who go downstairs to their actual spa much better than the tanning customers. Not sure if it's because the tanning costs less money or what but you will see.

Gabriel Lemm

Come here and get refreshed nice place ! Russian style

Randy Kim

Nice service. Casual atmosphere. Relaxing, nice tubs. The showers could use some work. The saunas are nice. The wifi connection downstairs is weak. I enjoyed the potato varensky. Good visit but getting there could be a pain in the evenings if you are going by car.

Bryan Laux

Been coming here for years and will continue. It's has three areas a men's only, women's only and a coed. On occasions I bring the 11 year and he loves it.

Muzbakh Bopoev

Good place, perfect service

Dan Breen

One of a kind. In addition to the sauna, the food here is highly underrated (where else can you get salo in Chicago?) I wish there were more places like this in the area.

Beksultan Abdykadyrov

Evgeny Kostenko

The best place to relax !! Love it ! Restaurant is amazing !!!

Natalya Rappoport

I haven't tried the banya yet, but food was delicious. Russian comfort food at it's best. Napoleon is to die for. I'm pretty sure my friends and I were piranhas with it. And service was fantastic!

Kamila Geneja

Loved the place, the owner and the massage was extraordinary! Thank you!

Michael D

Best place and food ever in Chicago

Mike Zaremski

All around great spot. Food is delicious (best chicken kabobs and buckwheat rice), staff is super friendly and the spa is of course awesome.

mordechai diskin

Nice good place

Noga Sachs

I wasn't able to do the spa part, so this is only a review of the restaurant. Everything Russian was very authentic and very well done. I want to come back for the spa, but I'd come back for the restaurant alone!

Michael Kristula

Cool experience, good food and unique beer.

Took my girlfriend here on a date. Was very dissapointed with the lady doing massages. She has absolutely no idea what shes doing. The girl side of the spa is lacking in key aspects. Pretty disappointed with my experience.

Abror Egamberdiev

Best place in chicago!!!

Travis Franke

They suck

Tee Jay

The food and facility was excellent but the service sucks. I don't know if it was because we were dine in only, interracial couple, or what but I waited almost 2hrs for my meal and they got the order wrong so I ate my meal in segments. Then tried to make me feel as if it was my fault. Totally unhappy. If I go again, I may be more abrasive in hopes for better service.

Danielle Coffey

Loved the experience

Connoisseur

Steam and dry sauna plus super cold water That's what make your body heal. Try it

Andrew P

Great Russian bath house. Amenities, food and service all excellent value.

Timur Alymbaev

Great place to relax.

Frank Walton

Nice spot, bring swimming trunks or bathing suit for best use of facilities. They provide the basics with robe, towel and slippers. Also, if desired bring personal hygiene items. I didn't notice availability of such items. Plan to return better prepared on next visit.

Masha Barbarchik

Great wooden sauna with its Russian feel to it, but overall the place looks dirty and is not really conducive to taking a shower or swimming in the pool.

Yutaro Matsuura

I've been here twice. Very unique, but relaxing and decadent experience. I have been to Russia once and this place is filled with reminders from my trip. Please take a moment to look at the photos of the food I have posted. Every bite, delicious and clearly prepared with care. I can't post the bath house area photos as pictures are prohibited, but there are varying levels or heat and cold with massages and scrubs available for a little extra. The sensation of going from a scorching steam sauna to an ice bath is indescribable and invigorating. The whole evening with bath access and food cost me around $85 (I was the designated driver), but drinking is allowed in the bath lounge area. Mind you, you can spend the entire day there and even take a nap. To dive into another culture without the actual travel is difficult, but this place allows you to vanish from Chicago into Russia.

Taras Melnychuk

The management is traditional rude style. Prices are expinsive. Food and sauna is good.

Thomas Cyrwus

Friendly and clean I highly recommend.

Jamie Locke

Interesting place. Not sure If I would come back during the summer, but since its been such a horrible winter it feels good to get all heated up

Leon Voskov

Great Russian food and really nice spa downstairs. Good beer selection too! Go hang out and relax for a couple hours

Heidi

Attended today for a birthday celebration!! Had such a nice time, we spent the entire day. The staff was amazing, facilities are exceptionally clean--good good. You've got to experience for yourself!!

miriam cardenas

I would give it no stars if I could. Today was the first and last time I will ever step foot here. The hostess at the front was very nice and that was about the nicest thing this place has. I had scheduled a mani/pedi and a 60 min Swedish massage but I left right after my manicure and pedicure. I could not bare to go through another minute in that place yet alone lay there for another hour in a massage. The staff was very unorganized and rude as well. I asked for a coffee I got it 30 minutes later. I asked for some tea and felt like I was bothering them even though I am paying for these beverages. Worst experience ever!

Tamaz Giorgadze

Nothing but a gangster party

Mike_ Caster

Nice place, reasonable place.russian stile spa and a kitchen too. If ull go there often could learn russian language pretty fast.

IAN Z. SMITH

Great place to relax body and mind, especially under new management. Highly recomendation: russian massage with honey and corn

Fred Schwartz

Best Russian bath house in the USA!

D.M. Jerman

Welp, for the expense of the massage here, it is very hit-and-miss. The hot tub jets don't seem to work, so they aren't "hot" tubs. And I've been told by more than one person the food is terrible, so I won't even try it. (This concurs with the fact that I've never really seen people eating there.) So go if you must, but do it for the dry sauna.

Kathleen Kane-Willis

Great place for a massage. Excellent. And they have food and drinks. I am excited to see when the women's sauna and hot tubs are open.

Anna Atasova

Great place, atmosphere and Russian food is fantastic! Restaurant seating is like you are riding on a train with landscape moving in the windows (it's not actual windows, rather tv screens making you feel like you are sitting on a moving train, very cool). Beer selection is good, I recommend Baltika 7 and couples massages are so relaxing and a great experience over all, two thumbs up!

Paul Winters

Best banya in the USA

David Choi

Good Russian style spa. Went there late after Chicago Marathon. Great scrub-down and massage

Max Mack

I visit Red Square Spa on January 8 , and I get something to eat in that place after I was feeling really Bad , 2 days staying home couldn't sleep,eat... feeling terrible

George Arutyunyants

Perfect place to relax !

Andy Nieves

Very professional and welcoming throughout. Got a massage from "G", and let me tell you that was the best massage by far. You can tell he has experience and knows what he's doing. All the staff members are very polite. You guys will not be disappointed.

Max Kaizer

It was alright after renovations. I'd give it four solid stars back then. Now it's become filthy and overcrowded! Small, dirty lockers. No place to sit down or lie down to relax. Unreasonably expensive ($6 for a cup of soda). $35 for entrance and you'll be served overused, dirty towels (if you are lucky, they always run out of them too). Be prepared to stand in line to take a shower. The water in the cold plunge pool looked like it hasn't been filtered or cleaned in days, if not longer. Unsanitary conditions wherever you look! The food is terrible. Overall, it's in no way a reflection of a true Russian spa!

Yevgen Maksymovych

4 stars because saunas and steam room needing upgrades. great place to socialize though.

chris lietz

Food was mediocre at best and its hard to understand what you get for $30...sauna, steam room, and hot or cold tub. All services like massages are extra.

Victor Chicago Office

Best place to relax in Russian style

alberto razo

No massages that night.. receptionist was pretty rude.. the bartender made up for it..

Di As

Nice place to relax! Good food!

Ty Smith

Best my skin has felt in years. Don't forget the oak leaves.

Zainab Qadri

My husband and I came as first-timers to a sauna or any other luxurious services. It was around 7:30-8pm, and we understood that services were unavailable seeing as we were late night walk-ins. The owner and workers were awesome! They were very kind and patient to explain that for just $35/person to use their facilities (no special services), go back and forth between sauna, baths, or between those and the restaurant/bar upstairs (1st floor), drink, eat, fill-up then go right back. There's Co-ed (just) sauna for those with swimsuits. I was nervous, we didn't bring swimsuits (they had one for my husband but didn't cross my mind to ask) and I couldn't see my husband without a swimsuit (poor guy was waiting waiting for me!). So inevitably in the nervousness and confusion, I spent less time than I could have, got dressed, waited for my husband, and left with yummy takeout. Definitely coming back more prepared and longer! :) Thank you all at Red Square!

Ian Walsh

I love this #Russian #bathhouse and try to visit monthly for a #platza and #bodyscrub. The service is incredible and restorative. First we get our locker keys, then go downstairs to the #baths. There is a bathtub-hot #pool large enough to swim back and forth a length, with jets and shower overhead, and a sub-freezing #saltwater pool. Then there is a #steamroom, and a #Turkish #sauna, where begins the Platza. First there is a cool towel over your head, and the Platza guy, Vasily, whips you (basically gently) with leafy branches that smell great, back and front. It feels great, especially in the cold winter months. Then comes a tap-cold shower, which is much less pleasant... but not as cold as the saltwater pool, that Vasily gladly jumps right into. Once you have your breath back, the body scrub. This is like being in a car wash machine, and feels wonderful in addition to making your skin glow. The atmosphere is very comfortable, there are reclining couches and places to sit down and rest, in between bathing and sauna sessions and while waiting for your turn at the Platza. You can order food and drinks brought down to you while you wait - Red Square has excellent #Baltic and #Russian food, and a great #beer and #vodka selection. Upstairs there is a full service #dayspa and #restaraunt with full #bar. The #lamb is particularly good. My one caveat - Be comfortable with nudity... swimsuits are optional and not particularly popular.

nina salem

Honestly I've been going to this place for years and I was very disappointed with my last visit. Not only did they change the rates, but the girl who was servicing us at the desk was not very friendly and she also wasn't very informative. I had called over the phone to make an appointment for two people to get 30 minute massages she told us that smallest time frame that we can book for would be 45 minutes. When we got there we saw the signs that straight up say 30 minute massage for $35, my girlfriend and I both said we wanted the $35 massage and that we had to change our appointment because that's what we were requesting over the phone. We told them that we wanted the Swedish massage her massage Tech ended up giving her a deep tissue without asking which cost her an additional $15. I thought this was unprofessional. Also during my massage although his intentions were sweet, my masseuse answered a phone call and then completed text messages while in my massage. It was anything but relaxing and I left there hurting more than feeling rejuvenated. I also feel like even though he said he stop the time clock I didn't get my 30 minutes, I also said that my neck was bothering me but I wanted to focus mainly on my lower back he did worked on my neck for 12 minutes which was almost half of the booking and then he talks through the entire thing about business which was literally the last thing I wanted to discuss during my massage. He was a really sweet guy and he took the phone call because it was his girlfriend's birthday and he was getting something delivered to her and they needed instructions however I feel like if he had something that busy going on you should have said to us how about you go down to the spa for 30 minutes and then come back up and I'll be ready for you. In the past Spa entry is free if you pay for a service, I have been going there since 2014 with that same understanding but yesterday they charged us an additional 1750 to utilize the spa area we were there for less than an hour and a half before we decided we had to leave. The locker my friend was assigned would not lock for her , and my locker once closed would not reopen , I even spoke with a staff member upfront to express that we were having issues and instead of offering to change us to new lockers and helping us they said oh we'll take a look at it later. Which never ended up happening, I ended up fighting with the locker for about 15 minutes to get it open myself. There was dirty Band-Aid floating in the hot tub as well as a huge green stain of dead skin cells that we had been floating on top of the tub and spoiled over onto the stone that had dried there it was bogus, it seems that the saunas were also really dirty because the towels that we were sitting on in the saunas which normally come out clean we're stained by the wood, the two of us shared one clean towel to dry off once we showered because are towels looked disturbing. The blow dryer in the women's section barely works and if I'm going to spend over $50 for the day I should be able to blow dry my hair properly, instead I left with wet hair because the blow-dryer kept smoking and I thought it was going my hair on fire. I'm really disappointed because I Love This Spa I love that it has its own restaurant, and I'd love to continue supporting it however based on my last trip I don't know when the next time I'll be back. It was really disappointing.

lorne bobren

cool place to hang out and watch the game, take a schvitz. great food and russian beers. highly recommended!

][DhiL Brazi][_,

My absolute favorite place to relax, have a great drink an unwind a bit. I use to have my own ideas about a "spa" until a friend took me here. I was not disappointed! Such an amazing experience that I now "need" in my life every once in a while. The staff is super friendly and the food is great! If you want to relax and detoxify your body with some heat, this is the place! You will not regret it. My favorites here are their chicken wings with rice. Along with a nice Moscow mule.

Gary Gooch

overpriced. nothing special at all.

Manuel Cervantes Jr

I always tell me my self I am only going for one 1hrs at the end I always ended up staying 3 hrs everytime,is nice to have a place so close to my house we’re I could relax after a long week of work.

Meerim Aspekova

Best sauna!

Emmanuel Flores De Luna

Best chicken around. Great Russian and Ukrainian food

David Schwartz

Originally a russian bath house that has really gentrified with the neighborhood. Stll retains some of the eastern europe atmosphere with a western feeling. All the sreams, messages and rhssia. Food

Jeremy Deming

Excellent authentic experience. Facilities are kept very clean and its a welcoming space. Make sure you keep it authentic and don't be shy; Its about relaxing and treating yourself to a peaceful and rejuvenating time. Excellent for soaking sore muscles and sweating a bit. I went for my sore neck and achy back and after several soaks in the 4ft deep hot water, dips in the cold bath, time in the sauna and a fantastic soapy wash and authentic leaf platza (smacked firmly over the whole nude body whilst in the sauna with therapeutic leafs) treatment I felt much fantastic. I left feeling relaxed and renewed. The food is also tasty! I tried the Imperial vodka and its very smooth. Highly recommended! I will be back!

Max Kornileko

If you are curious what it feels like to be born again...shall I continue?

Alice Walker

I love this place has been around forever the food is really good at massages are also good and reasonably priced definitely going back soon

Joel Buchanan

This is one of my favorite places in Chicago. Drink the White Lion Wit Beer from one of the oldest breweries in Ukraine. Eat pickled cabbage and watermelon to experience gold Eastern European food.

samat atamkulov

Good spa

Joseph Gorman

If you live in Chicago or just visiting definitely consider going to this place. Never felt better in my life.

Khumoyun Turgunov

Awesome. Make sure to try Borsh. Made me cry

Russell Hall

You will find all sorts of accents and patrons at this spa. I even met Jesse Jackson (junior) there some time ago. It was shabbier back then, but the saunas remain hot, if not boiling hot! People chat, cool down on the cold bath and chat some more while doing the job men often forget to do: self care. There’s even Russian history —wallpaper and photos — in the upstairs restroom. The staff and food are great.

Ed Shcherbakov

Good place for the rest and entertainment. Good food and massage with spa services

Lukas Tarasevicius

Convenient location for city dwellers trying to unplug

Elaine McLaughlin

if you like russian bath houses then you might like this.. it's an american version of the russian bath house.. there is a girls section and a guys section, the co-ed part is just one steam room.. you can drink, eat lunch-russian food, walk around, and of course get manicures, pedicures, and massages.. i recomend everyone tries it

Bobby Ramirez

Beautiful manicure and pedicure from a friendly staff. The massage was amazing! It worked out so many muscles it left me a little sore the next day but nothing a lot of water and some rest couldn't fix.

Roxolana Sklepova

True Russian banya! Love the train car restaurant, food is great, service top notch!

Kyle Dahl

Overall: Authentic, unique, and effective! I came out a new man and slept like a log that night. What an experience! The good: They offer a variety of packages, including the traditional platza services (we didn't indulge). There are also a variety of rooms and the temperatures turned up high! There are wet, dry, and steam rooms, plus whirlpools and a cold bath. All are effective and felt great in their own way, and the spaces are large and fit plenty of people. Upstairs they have a good amount of (some traditional, some not) food and drinks for you to have, and the passes you buy last all day. We all got the vodka flights to go along with our food (thus negating the sweating). The not-so-good: Felt dirty at times downstairs in the spa/saunas, only a 2 towel quota, and the atmosphere isn't as authentic as I would've hoped. It's a pretty typical spa/sweat kind of place, but I thought it'd be a little more...character. That said, the dining room and bar area had a good ambiance. The waitress got our vodka flight orders wrong, which means we had the best first and the worst last. Lastly, the place is a tad pricey... Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Food: 8/10

The best sauna!

Bulat Fatykhov

Great place as always

Traditional Platza was a unique and excellent experience that I highly recommend. The facilities were clean. The Swedish massage, however, was average.

Brian Hirsh

For men, this is the most relaxing place to spend a day. Just search "Turkish wet sauna". Unfortunately the women's side (says family) is awful. This is not a place for a romantic date.

Mark Kozlov

Place is well kept, but the steam room was broken the day I was here. Food is okay. Non-russian staff is kinda rude.

Marius Reut

Favorite getaway when it's cold out!

Dilobar Bakhrieva

Booking is weird with them. They will ask credit card number. They need change their policy

George Adam Savvas

Great sauna experience, has a a few different warm options, a cold pool, and a lounging area.

Tony Pindostan

Good space.

Every time I go here I leave feeling like a million bucks. Definitely recommend. 4 stars because of 2 towel limit.

I wouldn't say the staff can provide the best service but flthe foods are really taste yummy. I would recommend this place as one of the best Russian style Bar and Spa. The best Russian cuisine and beer.

Please stay away from this place it is absolutely terrible, I just went there to get a massage and it was so bad that I wanted to tell him to stop and walk out, the guy name is Ben and I wanted to cry because it felt like I just threw my money out in the window 92$ for an hour . Deep tissue massage? More like a RIP off. I have never complain about anything but I had to say something . The worst of the worst. I would have given them 0 start if I could. It was just plain awful

Al Ha

Nice place to relax and experience Russian Banya (spa). You can find free parking or $5.50 by the building. Nice restaurant with Russian menu on a second level, good prices. The spa is very clean. I will be coming back soon.

Scott Stirton

Great place and easy to get to from blue line train...a bit small but decent

Clayton Miller

Classic full service spa with coed areas. Hot tub, steam bath, wet sauna, cold plunge, and cold dowse shower. Great food and beverage service in spa as well as dining room

Gwen Goldfish

This place is wonderful! Spa, wet sauna, dry sauna, and drinks brought to you wherever you are in the spa. I highly recommend the Gentleman's Day as it's a great way to spend the afternoon as a Treat yo'self day or with a friend. Nikoli especially is an amazing massage therapist and will leave you feeling like a million bucks! Also, the cafe serves really good food!

Mark Domnenko

Sauna is nice. Its great that both female and male can be here. Food is pricey but reminds you of Russia. Great time to hang out.

Kristina Hall

Very relaxing place and they offer a great variety of services including a nice restaurant as well.

Adilet Mamyrov
