This is a great, clean, well-managed nail salon right up the street. I've been getting manicures and pedicures here for at least 3 years. This is a place where they like you to make appointments, so plan accordingly. They will try to fit you in, but they do the people who made appointments first. My two favorite staff are Lyon and Tammy.

I don't know if there's new management but the service was horrible. I had an appointment for my acrylic nails to be filled, cut down and painted and no one could give me a clear price. I was taken 30 minutes after my appointed time and more than one person worked on my nails. A woman started my nails and got up and walked away without an explanation and a man came over to finish. The employees spoke to each other in something other than English and would laugh and chat amongst themselves when I, and othe customers would speak to them. If was rude, embarrassing and uncomfortable. I have come to Magic Nails and Spa with my mom for over 10 years...since before they moved to this location. We will NEVER return. Anyone reading this review is free to leave a suggestion for another salon in O'Fallon.

I loved my tech Vincent, but I had a problem with the gentleman up front and decided not to go back. I went for service every two weeks on scheduled appointments and often waited, but did so without complaint. There was a scheduling mix up on one occasion, and I missed my appointment. I apologized and rescheduled. A couple of weeks later, there was an emergency at work and I was a few minutes late. Since I regularly waited, I did not believe it would be an issue. When I arrived, I was told that my spot was taken. That I can live with. What I can't live with is being told that the appointments are booked up for the next couple days without him even checking the calendar, and being blindsided with an untold policy where after three times late I am not permitted to make appointments and have walk-in only status. He would not let me reschedule for any time unless I agreed to those terms. I tried to reason that I felt that was harsh considering I was regular, almost always on time, frequently waited, and was just having trouble with work. I was told "It doesn't work that way." I'm sorry, but to make a customer habitually wait to be served and punish them for having an emergency with an undisclosed strike system with no limitations period isn't for me.

This is one of the absolutely best places for the service they provide. However; I just cannot patronize this place anymore & I have been going for years. Lee, manager and probable owner, is absolutely the rudest individual I have ever encountered. I believe being rude gives him a sense of power, I don't know what. This is not the first time he has been rude, but it is the last. Vincent and Lee are excellent techs. Vincent is my favorite because Lee is such a heavy smoker, the smell actually nauseates me at times. My favorite salon, but will not patronize anymore due to Lee's attitude. I am not the only one who has left because of him. An honest review. Great shop, lousy customer relations.

Based on the reviews I came here. I got a pedicure, the deluxe package. The service was rushed, I don't know why it wasn't a standard pedicure. Nothing special was done. This will be the first and last time.

First time yesterday I went to Magic Nails & Spa. I read all the reviews about the salon and decided to try it for my birthday. I was impressed with the place as soon as I walked through the doors. First thing I noticed was that there wasn't a lot of chemical smell associated with a typical nail salon. And the staff was very friendly. I walked in and was taken cared of right away. Nails were not rushed and they turned out fantastic. I will definitely be going back to them.

I have not had nails in 2 years. I looked long and hard and chose this place. I have interviews on Monday and the results have me on tears. I paid 47 for crooked, unshaped boards so thick, so uneven I have never had an experience like this and this person is not trained to do nails. I would love to upload the photos of finished product. I am just in tears

My new favorite place to go when I need a manicure and pedicure. Staff is friendly, facility is impeccable, and they have a vast variety of colors to choose from. They also seem to keep up with the lastest trends (gel polish, powder dip etc.). Price is very affordable. Love this place.

My manicure and pedicure done on 4/16/2019 were both great and still look lovely. However, my review is more about the honesty and integrity of an employee at this nail salon. I typically never take my wedding ring off during a manicure, but decided to this time because it had just been cleaned. I slipped it in to my purse and thought nothing more about it. After I paid, I was standing outside on the sidewalk while taking a call. The guy who did my nails (I hate that I didn't catch his name) came out with my ring and asked if it was mine. It had somehow fallen out of my purse. My wedding ring is more than a wedding ring. It was my husband's grandmother's wedding set, and was purchased by his grandfather during WWII. I've never come remotely close to losing this ring until this day. I am beyond grateful for the return of my ring. Thank you so very much!!!

Love this place. It was bright and clean, and I was impressed that the technicians all wore white jackets which looked very professional. GREAT selection of powder dip. Staff was friendly. My mom wasn't happy with the color of her toes, and they gladly fixed them. The end result was better than the original!

Heard this was the best one in the area and stopped by and left with a distaste about their service. No one even had time to look at the client despite the owner being present. After 5 minutes without even asking what i needed to get done..they said they dont have time right now. The salon looked clean and just a little busy but not crowded at all. I would have waited if they asked because i had decided to take my business here but not anymore. I am sure other nail salons value business more. From a new O fallon resident who has only had the best experience with this town so far and its businesses!

Great prices. Everyone was very friendly but didn’t force a conversation like a lot of places do which can often make it feel more awkward. I came in on a busy day without an appt with two others and we didn’t wait long at all. Everything was great. Will definitely be returning many times again!

After having a rude experience at AQ Nails & Spa, I came across Magic Nails & Spa which is right across the street. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked what service I needed. I was able to get in and get out for my polish change. They held conversation with me and treated me fairly. I love Magic Nails & Spa, especially love how late the salon is open and parking lot is private. The staffs are super nice and amazing. They take time to do to a good scrub under feet. They give the best pedicure, it is like getting a massage and a pedicure at the same time. It is relaxing I comfortable wheelchair accessible.

First time here because they had decent reviews. Took 2 hours for a regular set. Workers were being very unclear about prices and i received a price higher than expected and informed about. The fake nails put on were way too big for my nails, and the sizes for each hand do not even match. The paint job is very chunky, and I could tell the workers were snickering at me to each other, and i did not feel comfortable there. Will be going back to my regular salon.

From STL but I was looking for a good nail salon around. I’m so grateful to have come across this place! I didn’t have an appointment and they greeted and took me in immediately. I had dip nails and was going to get a change for them, so i thought it was going to take a while, but to my surprised I was in and out! That’s thing, usually when you’re in and out there’s so much detail that’s being missed. That was not the case here, Kayle was phenomenal and exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be back.

Frustrating. Made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure and got shuffled around to 2 ladies for the manicure and just sent to check out. They disregarded the pedicure and then made it seem like I was in the wrong for pointing out that I wanted a pedicure. They sat me down and wanted me to wait while someone that just walked in the door was seated in a pedicure chair. Unprofessional and not courteous.

Magic Nails isn't what it used to be. They don't manage time well - their fancy massage chairs and paraffin wax dips don't mean anything if you never get to use it because they take too long. Their basic pedi is $26 and is shorter and less thorough than anywhere I've been in St. Louis.

The receptionist is the Worst! Would not give me the appointment time I wanted, even three weeks in advance! Usually had to wait 15-20 min. past my scheduled appt. time. The prices were always inconsistent. Went from$28 to $45 for the same nails! Run to another Salon!

Very satisfied with the service we received here, right when we walked in everyone was very friendly, my daughter wasn't sure what she wanted they were very patient with us and gave us a book to look through to help us decide. Prices were very reasonable, my daughter's nails looked great and there was no wait even though we were walk-ins. This will be our new go-to nail salon from now on, can't recommend enough :)
