The spa is super clean and comfortable. I got a microblading and a facial . Both treatments were outstanding. Attendants were corteous, professional, thorough and welcoming. Lux 131 provides a warm and relaxing experience. They really understand and make sure that you are pampered and made you feel that you are the MOST important person there. They strive to make sure your visit is perfect and relaxing. I would go back and definately recommend this spa.

I found this salon 6 months ago when I moved into the area. Lauren has done a fantastic job maintaining my pixie cut. She also did some highlights which came out great and the color still looks good 3 months later. The salon is very clean and all of the staff are very friendly. The prices are reasonable and it's in a great location with plenty of parking.

I had a facial with Ameera and she was amazing! She took the time to explain everything to me from what products to use and my skin type and issues. She was very thorough and cleaned my skin and got rid of all of my blackheads. My skin already looks so much better and feels so clean. I cannot wait to see my results as I continue to work with her. Above and beyond what I was expecting...They went out of their way to fit me in their schedule and give me an appointment the same day I called which was fantastic because I'm a very late at anything kind of a person, love everyone and I LOVE LOVE LOVE what Miranda did with my makeup and hair and the foundation it has never been so close to my natural shade and so natural so classy and glamorous at the same time. They got my hair done perfectly right, they even washed my hair which felt really relaxing! Hope my barber doesnt find out i went here, but it was very much worth it haha

Julia did my Brazilian Keratin (their strongest) and did an amazing job on my coarse, kinky-like curly hair. My hair is the mixed girl type of hair (white and black decent). It’s naturally curly, yet frizzy and extremely FULL however, my hair strands themselves are thin. So my hair can easily dry out and break so getting this Keratin treatment has helped me use less heat on my full head of hair! It’s smoothed it down about 95% on my virgin hair, leaving it very easy to manage. She is a great stylist and super friendly and sweet!!! In addition, the owner is a super funny, extremely kind, caring, and professional woman. You will love her as she makes you feel so welcome with every service. Anyone new or returning, she will get involved to make sure you have the best service and care possible. She’s a ball of fun!! I have visited Lux 131 3 times. The service here is old school friendly and helpful. Even though I “cheated” and went to Lisa Thomas a few times between visits they were always accommodating. They have won my loyalty with their warmth and caring nature. Today I called early and they were not open. They saw the missed call and called back. I was able to get a same day appointment. The employees are fun to talk with and are very accommodating. The prices are competitive too.

I recently tried doing something new with my hair color for Fall, and wasn’t as good at explaining what I was envisioning as I should’ve been. When the color wasn’t what I had in mind, I was so nervous about speaking up because I didn’t want to be that “difficult” customer. Emann got me in for an additional appointment right away, and made me feel so valued as a customer. Laura gave me something I was so much happier with, and was so wonderful and accommodating to me through the entire process. I highly recommend these ladies, as it was such a relief to have so much support and professionalism in finding the look I really wanted!

This is the second time I’ve been here. The first time was for a make-up trial and the second for hair color. From the moment I’ve walked in I was treated like a queen doing a spa day. I’m very critical with new stylists doing new stuff with my hair or face since both are very sensitive to new things. My make-up was phenomenal! It was beyond what I expected and she used real name brand make up. Unlike other times where I’ve gone to other places they used their store brand make up or just used and old make up that isn’t very pigmented so it looks like you don’t really have make up on. Also, it made me break out so much with other people using cheap and used make up. She did not do that. I went out with my girls that night with the trial and the make up stayed on all night and when I washed it off it was not an issue with breaking out or anything since she prepped my face with a great moisturizer and gave me great tips on how to pamper my face afterwards. Today was my second time coming back to do my hair. I ended up doing a balayage with blonde. I’m also very touchy with someone making changes to my hair since it’s very long and well maintained that easily someone could color my hair badly or cut it that it would not do justice to my hair. But she did the complete opposite! I’m extremely happy I took a chance with Miranda (who did both make up and hair). I love that she took the time to listen to me and talk to me about what I imagined my hair to be like and she made it come true. I don’t like writing reviews because they’re so time consuming but I had to this time since she did an amazing job. I couldn’t stay quiet! Everyone here is sweet and honest. It’s refreshing to get someone to do services like this for you and also treats you like friends. I already made my follow up appointments to make sure I had time with her since she’s truly an upcoming stylist. Thanks Lux Salon

For starters I've never had a massage or facial before neither has my mom. I thought it would be a great idea to buy her this spa package for her birthday. All i have to say is what a wonderful experience!! The owner and the woman who does the facials and massage were so friendly and comforting. Our toes look great, muscles relaxed and the best part is your face feels so fresh, no need for makeup. Thanks for making her birthday gift a GREAT one.

One sentence not for everyone but if you try it you won’t regret it! I will start by saying I can be VERY fussy when it comes to my hair (as most women are) but I was completely blown away by Miranda’s talent and results! I have actually gone three times twice for make up and once for my hair - all three experiences were great! Miranda is a very lovely lady she’s always smiling and really takes the time to listen to what you want what you’re looking for and take the time to explain what she’s going to do! Both times I’ve been for my make up I’ve had dramatic changes and she’s helped me achieve both looks, and I’ve come out with a big smile across my face! Some maybe be put off by a couple of things, firstly the consultation if you’re anything like me, hair appointments are difficult to make, and to have to book a consultation first it felt like I was wasting my time turns out not it really gave Miranda knowledge she needed and my hair turn out better than I could imagine and my makeup was very flawless, and stunning! Another drawback, for Sam, is that Miranda works one-on-one, I am going to the salon isn’t a girls day that honestly, is that that’s what you’re looking for, then I wouldn’t really suggest Miranda. She concentrates on YOU, and that’s what I love:) Needless to say, I am so grateful that I found Lux131 Salon and day Spa and Miranda I will never have to find another hairstylist or makeup artist and this makes me VERY happy!
