I love Kohler Wisconsin but I recently visited the burr ridge area and was left feeling unsatisfied. My service was not horrible but it also was also not worth the expensive price. Decor is okay, I think it should be amped up a bit to look more appealing. Snacks are fine, kind of bland. I felt a little weird being there because I felt like some workers were a little rude. They did not seem friendly. A spa attendant, I do not remember her name which I should have, was not very friendly as she seemed frustrated with the laundry in the bins and the many people who were in the locker room. She did not ask me if I needed anything at all and she made me feel I welcomed. She was an older woman, I would say 40 years old and she had brown hair wearing a headband. She had a negative attitude. I heard her complaining about things to a massage therapist. I really wish I could remember her name because I have never seen someone be so rude to a guest. She left a laundry cart right outside the door as well with it full of dirty laundry. Besides that, I loved the room with the hot tub and the lounge was nice to relax in. I wish Kohler in burr ridge could go more above and beyond. I don't know if I will be returning. Thank you
Couldn't be any better MORE MORE
Beautiful atmosphere
Melissa is fantastic!
Loved this place. So nice and relaxing. My deep tissue massage was awesome, ached for days after. The facilities are very nice. The hot tub and steam room is so nice. And of course don't forget to plunge in between the two. Will definitely return. Such a nice treat.
One of the best spas ive went to.
The amenities are nice, but the services not worth the money. Super expensive for average work. Was disappointed.
Relaxology.
I just left Kohler Spa and had a facial. There was a group there that was very noisy and no one told them to quiet down. In addition to that, my facial services were cut and when I asked the technician if they did extractions with the facial I had she told me no but when I asked for the manager when checking out, she told me because I was a few minutes late, the tech didn't do the extractions. I told her that they should have told me that and given me the option to reschedule instead of telling me that they didn't do extractions with the facial I had. I will just chunk this up as an experience.
Exceeded all expectations
The waterfall and pool are fantastic. The massages are heaven, and the manicure/pedicures are excellent (especially for the price).
So relaxing and refreshing
No other place like it. Educated and talented staff.
Just amazing! Be sure to go a little ahead of time, with a bathing suit, to take advantage of the hot tub and sauna.
Loved my massage there. Therapist was very good and extremely concerned about my comfort levels. Had a great massage with heated Himalayan salt stones. Highly recommend.
This massage was absolutely not worth the price and between the four of us, we could have gone to Mexico for four days inclusive for what it cost! They also automatically add a tip that brought my 80 minute massage to a grand total of $239! It is small and a little dated - the locker room was jammed and we were on top of each other trying to get dressed. There are better and cheaper alternatives out there - not a bad place, but not worth the price on any level.
Staff were very nice and accommodating and highly recommend the hot stone massage! Good place to go for a couple of hours:)
Price does not reflect the quality of the service. Maternity massage was nice but way too expensive for something that costs twice less somewhere else. Water spa in general very very small, limited showers, no pool just a large Jacuzzi which pregnant women can't use. Definitely disappointed and not going back. If I was in charge of a "Water spa" I would make it a WATER spa, not something that costs so much for almost nothing. Recommend Kings Spa for anyone who's not pregnant, much better and way less expensive.
Loved the treatments. Beautiful space. Very disappointed food was not available. A poke bowl, salad...something. Especially if you are there for several hours with time in between treatments. May look for a spa that has food.
My facial was amazing! Very relaxing
As I saw in another review I really wanted to love it here. Honestly there’s just way too much hype for the services and “Kohler” name they were exaggerated and mediocre at best. Locker rooms are small and can get a bit crowded and who wants to be rubbing elbows in a spa if you catch my drift... yikes
I wanted to love it, I did. There were a lot of people on a Friday, the lounge was extremely full of people. Snacks were bland, nothing special. No hot tea either. The Kohler in Wisconsin was nice. The staff was phenomenal though. I wish the decor was different. It's very out dated. Suggestions for the spa.
Receptionist staff terrible booked app to meet and look at to host a party . Called ahead and locked doors on us before we arrived . Dreadful customer service
Great place, great massage, great location. Marina did awesome job. But 420.00$ for 2 persons 50 minutes massage is TOO EXPENSIVE. Guys cut your rates half if you want me to be back
This was my second visit and again very pleased. However just a warning, it would be in your best interest to bring your own water shoes. After a shower inside the plunge pool and hot tub area, my great left toe had a chunk taken out, approx 1/4inch deep n wide. The explanation was sometimes the tile was uneven Mgnt was very helpfull with bandages and gauze but so utimately my visit was not the best. Take care in there
I love the service I get when I go. The front staff is so nice and friendly, they greet me by name when I arrive for my appointment. My services are always professionally done. No one on staff is ever having a bad day. It’s worth every penny and their Loyalties Program is amazing!
It was a amazing! Loved every minute of it! Best way to unplug and relax! My body felt so good after ! And my mind was on point! I felt so alive and sharp! The plunge is a must!
Eva was amazing! I got a facial from her and she suggested some products and ways to help my dry skin. My skin felt this good in years!
This is my go to spa when I hav e more time to enjoy pool and water amenities. I go on my own or with friends. Central location to highways and plenty of great spots to eat nearby. Service is much more savvy and consistent than Koehler WI
Great place to get a massage but overpriced considering the length and quality of the massage. I still like the Mario T spa in oakbrook better. But I thought I would see what all the hype is about. It was nice but would I return? Not sure
Wonderful place
Very expensive, but pool is cool facial and massage were good. Locker room small no steam room sauna. Too expensive not worth it
Loved my prenatal massage! I have not one complaint-might have been the best massage I've ever gotten, it is expensive- but was so worth every penny :)
My husband and I recently moved to the area and he bought me a gift card for this spa. The pool was under renovation and they were crediting services so I booked a seasonal facial and a deep tissue massage for 80 minutes each. 1. Why are you pricing differently on the weekend and weekday? The nicest spas in the city so not do that. Price according to what is offered. 2. Check in was nice, but immediately upon entering the space it was not impressive. 3. The locker rooms are small, no sauna, steam, and jacuzzi are in the locker room. There are not towels to wash your hands and face, the products are not high-end for the price point, and the slippers provided are very uncomfortable. 4. The relaxation room is the worst part of the space. It is too close to the locker rooms which makes it very noisy. There is literally lawn furniture to sit on and wait. No soft pillows, sheets with egyptian cotton coverings, nice lights fixtures or real candles. It is very cheap and un-relaxing. No one is enforcing no cell phone use or minimal talking. Very disappointing for the price point. Overall I liked my services and the technicians I had. They were great, but the space overall is not a place I would recommend. Those in charge need to take a trip to some of the other spas in the city and take a lesson on the overall spa experience.
Great place but for the price, I expect more. The swim area is nothing special and compared to places like AIRE Ancient Baths in Chicago, this is way too overprices.
It was amazing, staff was very professional and they did a great job. The environment is very relaxing and the treatments are really nice.
Oh my gosh, where do I start? The Lavender Rain message with Eva was the most relaxing message I've ever had! The whole place just has an incredibly relaxed vibe to it, you can't help but just kick back and enjoy the Sauna and a really, really nice hot tub with a waterfall. That alone is worth the price of admission. Staff is great, place is immaculate and the area is wonderful. Plenty of restaurants to top off your day. You have to go!
Beautiful place and very nice staff
Very nice spa, worth the splurge. Can save a few pennies by making non-weekend appointments. Recommend giving yourself time to enjoy the whirlpool (or "Circle of Tranquilty" as it's called there), steam room, relaxation room. Bring a bathing suit if you want to use the whirlpool as it is co-ed. They also offer express services, which save time and money, but you lose out on the full "experience". I did the signature body wrap which included dry brush exfoliation, application of mineral oils and then being wrapped in a big piece of aluminum foil! Technician then gently massages each body part including face and scalp. Sounds strange but it was heavenly!
Price does not match services - way too expensive
Received half of the pedicure treatment for $90, because of time restrictions. In addition, was charged for a no-chip removal, which I was expected to notify about. If you have rules that no other salon has, please be sure to ask. The pedicure was done by a mediocre “professional”- left with extremely short and curvy toe nails. Would not come back or recommend to anyone.
Ahhh, my Kohler Spa. How I miss thee since moving to Colorado. The spa I recommend, and the only spa I frequent, as their facilities are second to none!
