Tiffany was the BEST stylist! She was really open-minded and really guided me through what I was unsure about doing. I love my hair and it looks perfect! Thank y'all!

Waited 20 minutes for a hair cut appointment I scheduled at 1:00 and at 1:15 they took a walk-in ahead of me. If you have time to waste, looks like you can do it here.

Pedicure was really bad but the massage was pretty good. The chairs they put you in for a pedicure are straight upright and do not massage or even lean back. I was uncomfortable the whole time. They do offer you a drink while they work though but I left with an aching back. Another time, I got a massage and they did a good job making you feel comfortable.

I was at the spa to get full hair color done with my hair. I was really excited for this place because of so much that I have heard about it. Unfortunately I was really disappointed with my visit. Beginning with, right when I walked into the spa the staff didn't seem that friendly at all. They didn't direct us well either as to where to wait and how long will it take. Once I was introduced to the hair stylist, She matched my color and did complete opposite. She changed my whole color level to two shades darker. The ambiance didn't seem that comforting as well. My hair feels rough, really rough. There is color all over my head, you could tell that they didn't do a good job at taking it out. Over all I was unhappy with the service. I wouldn't go there again.

I used this salon for my wedding day beauty last fall. I would definitely recommend them for hair and make-up, but will never again go to them for a manicure or pedicure. The chairs for the manicures and pedicures are not very comfortable, and they are not massage chairs like other nail salons. The day after we got our nails done mine started chipping and one nail completely peeled off during dinner (note: I was being *very* careful not to do anything to chip my nails before my wedding). I absolutely loved the girl that did my hair. She really worked with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I also loved the girl that did my make up. She did a very light and natural, but elegant look that was perfect for my wedding day. My only complaint about having my make-up done there was that the make-up station is right in the middle of the front waiting room/sales room. It would have been nice to have been taken to a private room, rather than feel like I was on display for all to see.

I recently went to Five Senses for a brow wax and they are by far the best spa in town. Not only were their employees extremely helpful, they were able to help get me the look I have been looking for for a while. I will definitely be back to get my next waxing done by Jasmine. Also the spa is a one stop shop, they give great haircuts, and use amazing Aveda products. It is a time away from the hustle and bustle of life and I thoroughly enjoy every minute.

Jason is a godsend. I recommend him to anyone wanting deep tissue massage with or without hot stones. He knows what he's doing.

I surprised my mom with a massage here for her birthday. The staff was very patient and knowledgeable when I called and inquired about services. They were very friendly the day of and my mom was in heaven. She said Erica did an amazing job and plans to go back and ask for her again.

I highly recommend Sarah! I am really particular about my hair, and Sarah was great to work with. I got a beautiful cut and color, but I think you could sit in her chair and tell her to do whatever she wants and it would look amazing. I did not have any issues like other reviewers did with timeliness and lack of professionalism. She took good care of me and my hair. She is very talented, so if you don't have a go-to for hair check her out! I just moved to Peoria and I'm happy to have finally found someone I can trust with my hair.

I came into town got a pedicure that’s is awesome very relaxing. Taylor did amazing bang trim & brow wax. I highly recommend her for hair cuts etc. Julie is just wonderful she is very passionate about her job- she is always helpful & nice!

I have never been more impressed with a local Spa. From the very sweet staff to the amazing service there was nothing more I could have possibly asked for. Even when I went to go pay I could not believe the cost. I did not pay any more than I would have for my usual place. The services I received left me feeling like a million bucks...but I sure did not have to pay that. I dare you to compare...I truly thought this would be a one time treat for myself and I would not be a regular...but the cost is exactly the same as my normal place. On top of that while processing they didn't just throw a magazine at me they offered a complimentary hand scrub that left me so relaxed. I can't wait to go back!!!!

Shelley Hutton

Absolute bliss! I had the Stress Fix massage with Michelle. It was so wonderful, I came back again. And I will continue to come back every time I am in town. So relaxing, just right and thee best ever!

I love this place. I've moved around a lot and have almost always gone to Aveda salons and spas because I trust that they have a level of expertise above other types of salons and spas. When I was in Atlanta, I went to a Aveda School to get my hair cut once - and I know the training is rigorous. I feel like Five Senses goes even beyond my expectations of an Aveda Salon. When you walk in, you immediately feel relaxed. The salon has a scent that automatically makes you calm. Then the decor is absolutely gorgeous - especially the nail room. You can't help but think how beautiful everything this is in the room from the wall to the comfy pillows. The staff is amazing - they seem to really care to make you feel at home and relaxed. I've taken advantage of their hair, nail, and massage services. I will try a facial next time because of a recommendation by the lady who did my nails there.

High quality service rendered with skill. A bit on the pricey side, though, but worth it.

I don't think the women who provide nail services are trained to work at a spa. Five Senses advertises as a high end spa...but I found it to be more of a well decorated beauty salon. I could have had the same experience at Wal-mart at half the price. It has potential, but they must teach the people who work there how to create a peaceful, quite, relaxing atmosphere--no one wants to hear about the pedicurist's nasty break up, hear about ones ex-husband or listen in on how horrible the last client was. Very unprofessional and immature staff.

Rachel Brown

Decent food but not worth the price.

Love Five Senses! Always love getting pampered!!!

After reading some of the reviews I was a bit leery about getting a massage here, but the poor reviews couldn't be more wrong. I had an hour massage with Julie (Swedish aromatherapy) and it was fantastic! In the last 15 years I've had a lot of massages with about 10 different masseuses, and she ranks right in the top. Her massage even rivaled a massage I received at a top ranked spa in the Caribbean which was three times as expensive. Julie did a phenomenal job - from the pressure in her hands, to the atmosphere in the room, to allowing me to choose the oil which appealed most to my olfactory sense. Thank you Julie!! At reception I was greeted immediately and warmly, and was ushered into their waiting area for just a few minutes where I was given a beverage of my choice and also got to indulge in their chocolate fountain (a nice touch!). Needless to say I will be visiting this spa again!!

Great place!! Awesome haircut every time.

Sometimes you get a great facial and/or massage...it is very hit and miss, as there seems to be a huge turnover in staff.

Everyone at Five Senses is so professional and friendly. Caitlyn is an absolutely amazing stylist. She is great at recommendations for the needs of her clients. Hands down there is no other place that can top them.

Wonderful experience! I had the body polish, the seaweed wrap and the Vichy shower. My skin was incredibly soft after the treatments. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I look forward to another visit to Five Senses!

SPECTACULAR!!!!! Can't wait to go back. Staff is fantastic and the service is impeccable!!!

The facial and esthetician were very good. I had a GC for $75 and scheduled an introductory $55 facial. However, I was given the $79(80) facial without being asked/told of the Upgrade. And when checking out I told the receptionist about the miscommunication and she was very abrupt and said I owed the difference ($4) plus gratuity. If I hadn’t had the extra cash the facialist wouldn’t have gotten a gratuity at all. Now I’m not sure if I would spend another $80 on a facial.

Very welcoming staff, beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. They have truly thought of everything to delight all 5 senses!

Very friendly staff. I got a pedicure, it was very relaxing. She did a great job.

I went here when I got married last june. To start, the girl who did my hair was incredible. I am a hair stylist and many of my friends and family all complimented my hair. She did exactly what I wanted. The girl that had do my makeup seemed inexperienced and unsure. She made me pick everything out and made few suggestions. The other artist had to help her. She didn't spot treat any blemish or dark spot and just applied a thin layer of concealer so my skin looked far from flawless in photos. I also did not like the powder they sold me, but it got me through the night. The girl who did my sister's hair was very unfriendly and irritated with her when she gave her creative artistic ability to do whatever she wanted... The other makeup artist did a great job on my sister's makeup.

I recently had a pedicure by Tasha at Five Senses. Tasha has helped me with 2 pedicures in the past and her work is top notch. She seems to take great pride in providing an excellent service. The atmosphere was relaxing and the pedicure was fear free (no worrying about what sharp tools were going to slice my calluses). I paid $45 for the elemental pedicure, which I believe is a great price for a pedicure plus a hot towel treatment, walnut exfoliating scrub, and foot massage. My toes look great! I highly recommend Tasha and Five Senses!

I recently had the hot stone focus as part of my massage and it was lovely. The hot stones really helped my muscles relax and were a great addition to the aromatherapy massage. It was a nice treat going into the holiday season. Unfortunately there were a few hiccups during my visit: my previous masseuse (Julie) is no longer there and she was missed; they asked about the favorite part of my last massage but clearly did not take that into account when performing this massage; the chocolate fountain was out for service (understandable but disappointing); they initially charged me for the hot stone focus when it was supposed to be a complimentary service (as part of a promotion from when I had my last massage) -- it was successfully resolved but it diminished my experience.

customer service needs ALOT of work. One one occasion they let me wait > 30 minutes without any explanation for the delay. It was the stylist that called and told me that she had to help another stylist only after I walked out. Why couldn’t she have walked around the corner and told me this when I was there? I probably would have understood and waited. Additionally, they have a policy that if you call to reschedule less than 24 hours from appt., they will charge you for the full service. So, in other words, don’t get sick or held up at work if you plan to obtain your services from this salon. I have spent thousands of dollars at this salon over the years and will not go back. There are other Aveda salons out there.

Second time at this salon. First time with this stylist. She is not a personable person. It was our first time she didnt shake my hand or say nice to meet you. She didn't talk at all through the entire thing which made it really awkward. I wanted to go from shoulder length to pixie. I had a picture from Pinterest. It was 360 picture: front, back left and right side. She messed it up. The left side and the back she did good but the right side was terrible. Completely NOT like the picture. She went around my ear instead of going over. I specifically told her that what I liked about that cut was the right side. -_- This is supposed to be a higher end salon and it looks like the stylist can't even take a picture as a model/reference. I spend 50 bucks to walk out unsatisfied. I gave it 2 stars cause I went there once and I was pleased with cut and experience but it was a different stylist. The salon is also really nice.

I just want to let all my Peoria friends know the poor experience I just had at Five Senses Spa and Salon. My daughters and I made reservations a month before we would all be home together for the holidays and arrived for our appt to find out that our reservation had been lost. The girls at the desk acknowledged they had a computer glitch and had lost about 4 days worth of reservations without knowing how to contact these people to let them know, and still they had no plan in place to compensate for their error. Unfortunately, they were also fully booked and therefore could not help us. Their only solution was to book another day (however two of us were from out of state), or to come back an hour and a half later to have pedicures (however we had originally booked massages and pedicures). When asked if these would be done at a discount, the manager told us they would not. So, for losing our reservations----we were offered a chance to have half of the services we had made reservations for done at FULL PRICE and later in the day. NO THANKS!!! I will certainly not be giving them my business and would hope you know to do the same!

Reviewing for a friend: not half as good as a regular salon. More expensive and less quality. Aveda name should not be associated with this place. The chairs and decor was beautiful and elegant but the service was extremely lacking. Disappointed.

Taylor gives the best pedicures! So relaxing! 5 Senses is the best all around

My sister in law and I went in to have our hair done for an evening event, and we had a wonderful experience. The salon was very clean, and I especially liked how high the sinks were to wash my hair. It was relaxing. They did a great job. My hair looked great, and they also did my make up. My friends and family gave me compliments all evening. Thanks Ladies!

Second time scheduling errors, drove 60 min for Barbershop service, will not be back will never recommend....your incompetent staff is a reflection of your business!

Andrea Bonner

I immediately clicked with Tasha while she gave me a great pedicure. The atmosphere is very relaxed and calming, and complimentary wine goes well with everything.

Mekensie Campbell

Love this salon. Taylor is amazing with hair. Also came here with my bridesmaids to get our nails done and get facials and massages. It was a very relaxing experience. Love aveda!
