Do not waste your time at this DIRTY, TRASHY south side salon. This shouldn’t even be open. I went in for a French tip manicure and let me tell youuuu the white line on my nails was so raggedy and riggid, and when he tried to “clean” it up he just painted clear coat til it “disappeared” like???? I walked out of there and friends asked if my baby sister painted my nails

Very rude employees. I had told them more than 2 times that i did not want gel, the last time i had told them they completely changed their attitude towards me and overcharged me for everything. I was charged $100 for a regular pedicure and full set. The man threw the receipt when i told him i wasn’t giving him a tip. Hours later my nails started cracking. Do not recommend

Very unprofessional!!! My wife comes home from this place crying with tissues between her toes and polish on her skin. Cutting corners to make a fast buck. So I read reviews on this establishment. The response to any negative reviews are just plain childish. They should focus on their service than responding to any negative reviews. Do a good job so no negative reviews arise.

This place was awful! I got a gel manicure that costed me $35 and it all chipped in 2 days. I went back to get it fixed and the employees were SO rude. The person who redid my gel manicure peeled off the old nail polish and painted over them without even filing or trying to fix the damage she created by peeling the polish off. Terrible experience!

my daughter had her manicure gel and pedicure for her wedding day. The guy name Tom did her pedicure, and he did a very BAD job. He kept telling my daughter to do the most expensive service, but we only wanted regular service. When he did the regular service, he did it too fast in less than 25 minutes. The cuticles are still there, massage is 30 seconds. The polish is way too thick that it takes forever to dry. If you want customer to come back, you have to respect their choice of service and do a better job.

The man from the beginning was rude. He sat me down and when he was doing my nails he stopped to go get the mail and than he went through all the mail. I was waiting till he was done no cares for clients. He was also really rough. The nails came out good but it’s just the customer care that lacked major! And it’s a little pricey.

Tommy did a great job on my acrylic fill. Nice and clean. My one complaint is that it was kinda costly. $37 for a fill? I might as well have gotten a brand new set. Over the phone they quote $18 and up for a fill but definitely wasn’t expecting to pay that much. Not only that but as I was getting my nails done the girl next to me was told she had to pay $26 and she argued she paid $10 last time. However, she apparently got gel this time so that’s why she had to pay $26 instead. As she went to the front the guy who did her nails told the employee in the front in their native language and he started yelling at the girl saying he did not say $10. Which is fine I understand but he then slammed his hand down in frustration. I just don’t think that’s an appropriate way to speak or treat customers.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The tech that did my nails refused to do what I wanted done and instead did what he wanted. He accused another customer of some truly horrible things that even I knew she hadnt said or done. He nicked me several times and tried to blame me. I've been having my nails done for more then 15 years and do not squirm in the chair. But what upset me most was being charged for a full design when I asked for only a 2 nail design. Never again will I set foot in this place again and do not recomend anyone else do so.

My daughter had received a gift certificate for this place so we decided to make it a mommy daughter day. We get there and we were greeted by the woman who sits at the 1st station. I began to ask her what would be good for my daughter given her age so she informs me what would recommend so i tell that is what we wanted done. She starts doing my daughters and im taken to the gentlemen at the very last station. Minus being away from my daughter everything was good. We get done i looked at my nails and my daughters we were happy with our nails but the very next day im looking at my nails and to my surprise they were starting to lift and not just a little or 1 im talking all but 3 were lifting. So I go to check my daughters luckily hefs were great and here it is 2 weeks later and hers are still great other than needing a fill mine however got worse and have popped off. I will never go back 100 dollars for what nails lifting and popping off so embarrassing when people ask to see my nails they truly are the worst place i have ever had my nails done. I am happy that my daughters however looked nice and still do didnt want her 1st time getting nails to scare her or push her to not wanting them.

My mom and I went in she got a manicure and I got a fill. The tech working on my nails was rushing and did not take the time to file my nails properly and when I tried to address the problem he raised his voice at me and the owner was outside on his phone and shrugged me off saying he was busy. I left very frustrated. Poor business would not recommend this place at all

It was awful. The man was the only one not wearing a name tag. He wouldn't cut my toe nails the way I wanted. He only put on one coat of polish . Then when he did my finger nails he used a polish that was caked up in lumps. So my nails are not smooth. I won't ever go back.

Staff was very nice and accommodating but I gave a 2 star because I just got my gel mani and pedi on Saturday it is now Thursday and the gel is already peeling off (mani) :( it hasn't even been a week yet! It actually started peeling after day 2! I've had gel before and it usually last me a month or so never had this before so not sure if it's there polish?

Tony was extremely rude and impatient. After cutting a chunk out of my pregnant fiancee's finger he told her that it was just an accident and she shouldn't complain. Then he talked down to her because she was indecisive about her nail color. Even other customers butted in to tell him that was no way to talk to customer. After my fiance had enough of it she tried to leave with her nails not even being finished, but he would not let her till she paid in FULL. I only wish I was there to help address the situation. Pictures below to see the cuts. We went to another salon to get them finished. Response to the owner: I would like to tell you the truth. She returned home after half an hour, so I know you could not have worked on her nails for over an hour. Do you help customers by berating them and being disrespectful? Even another customer had to tell you not to talk to her the way your were. Finally, I think you should not be paid for poor service and. I don't think it is fair to charge someone , after injuring them. Would you pay your barber if they cut you really bad? Your response does not seem apologetic, but accusatory.

I moved here from Phoenix and looking for the best Nails salon in Tucson for my Pedicure and Manicure, I got online to search for local listing and I found this spot in shopping plaza Spectrum. The salon spa is clean and look very nice with big space, great customer service and It was very impressed me and I spent over an hour here for relaxing. Tucson is very hot and I received good care from them ! Out of the business with cool water bottle for refreshing. I will definitely coming back when I getting to Tucson. Cindy is very awesome and so kind.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I’ve never had such an awful experience at any other business in my entire life. Honestly my bad experience started 8 years ago. I went to Hollywood Nails for the first time and ended up having one of the files slice into the flesh of my pinky, making it so I could open the cut and look inside. Mistakes happen all the time and it’s not like the person did it on purpose, so I didn’t complain afterwards and instead chose to just move on. Two days ago my sister treated me to getting my nails done and took us to Hollywood Nails. I was skeptical after my bad experience but it was so many years ago and a fluke to begin with, so I went with it. This is where the review really starts. Tony did my nails and my experience with him was awful. The moment I sat in his chair, he gave me a dirty look and eyed the arms of the chair like, because of my weight, I shouldn’t have sat where he told me to. He didn’t say a single word to me the entire time he worked on me, other than when he told me I was getting white tips and pulled out the case before I agreed. I didn’t even know they offered other colors or nail polish options until my sister showed me hers. He would yank and jerk my hand to where he wanted it and sent me dirty looks along the way. I finished before my sister and she told me I could go sit in the car to wait. Apparently it looked like I was bailing without paying because Tony sent his wife to the door and they both kept an eye on me for the next 45 minutes until my sister paid and came out. I assumed while getting my nails done that Tony just didn’t really talk to customers. As I sat in the car I learned that wasn’t the case. He and his wife doted on the next two clients like they were all old friends. Maybe they were, but it still doesn’t excuse the complete lack of friendliness that was displayed toward me. The final nail in the coffin came when Tony went outside for a break, stood approximately 5 feet from my open window, knowing full well I was sitting inside, and lit up a cigarette without ever bothering to acknowledge my existence. Maybe if my nails looked good I could ignore everything that happened, but they were uneven, my thumb has an air bubble, and my pointer finger has a red dot in it. I told my sister about my experience and she was shocked. Hers was so much better than mine, and also took 45 minutes longer. She asked if I wanted to go back and have them fixed. My answer was and is no. I have no intention of ever going back there, and if anyone asks, Hollywood Nails is at the top of the list of places I would never recommend.

Helen & Ana are amazing! Super friendly, service was amazing and their prices are competative!! They were busy , sat me in a chair for my pedi and right away was getting my manicure done as well. Clean facility and staff cleans up right after every job. I am a higly satisfied customer. Also Cindy does a wonderful wax job. They give you a variety of pedicure packages to chose from depending on your feets needs. Cannot go wrong with this salon.

This place was horrible. The guy kept hitting my hand even though I have a light hand. He didn’t cut my nails which resulting in my actual nails breaking when the fake ones did. I swear if I catch any type of infection because of this i will sue and make sure you guys are shut down for good. And obviously this has been an issue before because there are other customers saying about the same thing.and I don’t think you need to ask me who did my nails because we all know who did it. My nails were done on March 17th and April 8th my nail had broke underneath. So bad to the point that it needed pressure to stop bleeding. I don’t want to come back, ever, it was your problem, your mistake. I’m not going to come back and have you make the same mistake again. Do your job, slow down, and don’t hurt anyone.

And i asked for my nails to be filed more on the sides the guy i guess forgot and then got mad when i brought it up again. I agree with the comments about the staff being rude . They get upset and give you attitude when you don't want gel nails and just care about taking your money. My boyfriend was waiting for me while I was getting my nails done one of the men that works there was harassing my boyfriend while he was sitting , telling him that he needed to walk up to where I was to confirm that he actually knew me . I have no idea why this is necessary because they didn't harass other people waiting on people getting their nails done . This was on Friday at 3:30 pm if the owner reads this you know exactly WHO I'm talking about I will not be returning , one of my nails already broke only 3 days after getting a full set

They charge way to much and yesterday when I went somewhere else to fix to nails I had broke I know this that they meet my nails very thin that's why they were breaking so easily the 2 nails that got fixed at another nail salon are thick they will last me at least 3 weeks They are very smart they make a thin nails so that they break and then you go back not even a week later and they charge you an arm and a leg to fix them last week for a Polish and fills they charged me $45 because I had them make coughing tips into stiletto tips I did the same thing at another salon and for Phil's and a Polish they charged me $20

He assured me that I was going to walk out happy & satisfied. Sure enough I did. Very upset. Went today to get a fill and my nails are a completely different shape then they were, each one of my cuticles were cut and bleeding, wasn’t told to wash my hands and i got no oil applied onto my nails like it’s supposed to. One of my nails were lifting and instead of cutting it and just re-applying acrylic over it, it was glued down instead which is going to mess up my natural nail, great. Pretty half fast ass job. I’m usually happy with Tony’s work but not this time. Last time i’ll be spending my money here.

Tammy was friendly and did an excellent job on my nails. I had the dip powder. My only suggestion is that the salon stock colors in dip powder. They only had 5 or 6. Nothing I wanted so I chose the very neutral color. I'm told they will get colors in. I hope so because I'd like to go back to Tammy. She's very good.

Will not return. Tony (the owner) told me to come back in 40 mins because they were busy. When I returned 40 mins later, he again told me to come back in 40 mins. While trying to explain to him that I had already done that, the phone began to ring In the middle of my sentence Tony answered the phone completely dismissing me One of the other employees told me not to believe him that i had to stay to hold my place I now to go Amazing Nail salon in the same shopping center. I went in yesterday w my young son to get pedicures (his was just basic which still included the massage). We were seated immediately by an older lady and I picked my nail color. I wasn't asked what type of pedicure I wanted so I pulled the menu from the cart and then a young man who worked there asked me If I had been asked to which i said no. The lady was already working on my feet so he went over the options and I picked the one for $35. I also said I wanted a manicure w gel. He started working on my hands. I will list below what the problems were: 1. He didn't do the usual soak of the hands 2. He started cutting my cuticle dry 3. Started putting the base right after.buffing my nails without wiping my hands down of any debris from filing, cutting cuticle and buffing 4. Left some specks of gel on my left hand ( he noticed, but ignored) 4. He slathered lotion gave a quick if you can call it that "massage" for a few seconds, wiped my arms down and that was that. 5. Painted my nails which came out with edges unclean somewhat sloppy( I uploaded pic don't know if it fully captures what I'm talking about. The lady that did my pedicure rinsed my calves with the tub water to rinse off the scrub after having worked on my feet...at the end 1. I didn't get a calf massage 2. I still had calluses and the bottom of my feet felt scratchier than when I got there. 3. Only got one coat of nail polish 3. Didn't get the results or all the options I had paid for. My son's pedicure was basic as I said but being that we had been on our feet for several hours he was looking forward to the massage. 1. He never got the massage 2.he ended up with a nick/scratch on the side of his left foot when the man Kevin used some type of pumice ( which my son didn't need since he had no callouses and it was supposed to be basic. I didn't catch that since I was watching the work on my hands and feet. Kevin, who had finished w my son. Comes over to me while my feet are still being worked on and tells me to pay. I tell him I will once I'm done at the front. So guess what the lady rushes everything and I'm "done". As I have my feet drying having decided I was not ever coming again. Kevin asks me to pay $90. $35 as for mani ( I had asked for a basic mani but because i got gel i was being charged $35...without having received the options that came w that price. My son's was $20(all he needed was toe nails clipped and he could have spent time on massaging his feet to fit the price). I told Kevin I would pay once I was done. He just stands there in front of me while there are other patrons looking on and I ask if there is a problem? The younger man tells me that he doesn't speak English and is going to turn off the register soon-still having FOUR other patrons there?! Embarrassed with my son feeling uncomfortable, I give him my card get my receipt and walk out. Never again.

Worst service ever. I went in for a pedicure and witness behavior that was not appreciated. My nails were not cut correctly. To be honest a child could of did a better job. The nail technician left nail polish on my toes. He dropped a blue gel like substance on my sandles. I felt like I was being rushed out. Not to mention some people were being turned away because they were too busy. While others were allowed in to wait. I have never witnessed this kind of behavior and it saddens me. I wish them well and pray they correct their wrongs. Everyone deserves service especially if they're paying for it. And service should fit the bill. I will never return. Lesson learned. Tony, I'm sorry I will Never return to your establishment. My mothers day gift from my son and husband was to get my nails done. Sorry that I was not given the service I paid for. The Nail thech was named Tommy and your behavior is the behavior that I did not appreciate. I wish you well and I just ask that you search your heart and correct your unfair ways. Have a good day.

I am not happy because my mom and my daughter got very good service with full massage while I did not. the couple a guy and a young girl that did my service did not do good service. I did not get a hand massage like the my mom and my daughter. I am very disappointed with how you provide service.

Will not be returning!! Told nail tech what I'd like and with pictures but he said he couldn't do it and did his own design I didn't care for at all but I dealt with it. $45 for crooked nails, a human light brown hair painted inside my nails (mines black). All my nails broke and I got a whole set someplace else. Please take your money else where.

I am a regular at Hollywood nails. Today while getting a pedi with my daughter she unfortunately had a seizure. First issue while I'm trying to attend to my daughter I am handed the phone to call 911. Second issue is I'm barely hanging with 911 and am told I owe $50. Our pedis were not quite done and I feel the request to pay could have waited until she was no longer seizing and new she was ok. Third issue I was asked twice if she would like to move to regular chair.. hmmm no she just had a seizure. And then was handed the phone again to call 911 and ask how long before they arrive.. it had been less then 5 minutes from original call.. I truly feel this could have been handled better.. with more compassion.

This is my first time to find the place in Tucson for my family’s wedding and all our families groups over 10 people to get the pedicure and manicure at this spot and it is very clean and all staff who were friendly and professional care for my nails and pedicure. The pedicure spa included color gel $45 it is fairly price and Tony who is awesome one to run the business. He is not only professional but also kindly to treat our family. My daughter is 16 years old and got the full pedicure and manicure just $30 for gel special on her ‘ s birthday. She love her nails and I really to like this spot and hope to coming back very soon . Terrible experience!! Went in for a manicure and the lady told me to sit down. She asked if I wanted the gel manicure and I said no only the regular. She got an attitude with me and told me to go and pick my color on the other side. As I’m walking to the other side I hear her telling another man in there that I didn’t want a gel manicure and started talking in a different language laughing about it. It made me extremely uncomfortable. As I went back she was gossiping the whole time with another lady. It was super awkward and she didn’t talk to me the whole time. I will not be returning!

Unfortunately I will not be returning to Hollywood Nails. I asked for a nail design and didn't like it so I asked it be removed and just polished one solid color yet I was still charged for the design. Nail tech said he did the work so even if I didn't keep the design, I had to be charged. Okay, fine. But my nails literally started popping off one by one not even a week after getting them done. Disappointing.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Given the rate I did because, whoever did my nails didn't introduce him self so I have no idea what his name was. He didnt really say anything to me. Other than, when I asked if they had more gel colors and he said yes, but I had to go through the ones sheet thing that was handed to me. He was incredibly rough with my hands, yanking me around. He also made me bleed in five different places. He didn't apologize at all. He also complained about "dead" skin on my fingers, when I don't have dead skin on my fingers. When in reality it was live skin that he had filled off. I had a fill and 1 replacement done, with the paint job. He put one coat of color, one coat of glitter and a top coat got it all over my fingers. Then sprayed me with the alcohol to clean the nail polish knowing he just cut my fingers open to the fact they're bleeding. And then charged my $40. DO NOT go to this place they are incredibly rude not worth your money. The only positive is my nails look a little bit better. Minus the blood. Service and review date: June 18, 2019

Found Brian for my nails after losing my nail guy of 10 years. Have to fight with the owner to get him. I still stuck it out as Brian was awesome. I call and make an appointment today with Brian i live an hour away and still come to him. I walk in and Brian is sitting down to start a pedicure. Tony knew he made the appointment when I called and my choices were to let someone else do my nails or wait 40 minutes. Tony is a real you know what and now I am looking for a new nail guy. Sorry Brian can't stand the way customers are treated by the boss I'll never be back.
