Unfortunately not pleased with the haircut. I felt like I paid $60+tip for a trim rather than the haircut I requested. In fairness, she was adept in styling it, but when I got home my sister said she couldn't see that I had a haircut. Went in the following week to have more taken off. I could see Maria was put off that I was back and dismissive of my concern. Still didn't get it right. It's now 2 weeks since I went for the initial cut and it looks like I need another cut. $60 is way too much to pay and not get a full cut. Needless to say, don't waste your money.

I wanted to write this review while it was fresh in my mind. This is my second time seeing Oksana at Canyon Falls Spa & Salon located in Scottsdale. This time I went to see her for dermaplaning and an eyebrow wax. The last time I saw Oksana was in December – but she remembered me, which is always a good sign. Knowing I had a talented and professional esthetician, I knew the results of my services would be stellar. What I didn’t expect was how relaxing she made me feel. I entered her dimly lit room. I put on my little cover-up, and then I crawled under the covers to lay on a warm, heated cushion. Throughout both procedures, I was able to sit back and relax. I didn’t have to worry about her messing up because I knew she provided quality services already. Believe it or not, I almost feel asleep and I have to admit – it was more relaxing than the massage and acupuncture treatments received the week prior (at a different salon). Oksana even introduced me to a hair stylist that I am confident can handle my needs. All-in-all, I highly recommend Oksana at Canyon Falls Spa & Salon. At risk of her becoming overbooked, I have to admit I don’t know why people would use anyone else but her. Today, I even asked her what other services should I get from you. I left her salon feeling like a million bucks, and she only freshened up my face. I just think about what Oksana can do if I put her to work on a full body overall. She is a must have esthetician in your life. Look forward to seeing you soon Oksana, and thank you again!

Andrea is the bomb! Came in a week or so ago for a shaping, cut...wasn't completely sure what I wanted - besides to try to get my hair back to how it was before chemo - but I told Andrea, I used to get so many compliments on my hair and I just hadn't been happy with it since it grew back. Kinda gave some details of how it was before, she did her magic (and got me into using hair WAX which I'd never used before!) and within 1-2 days, already got my first compliment! Had a few more since. Nice "sassy" shag cut, easy to style and for the first time in over a year, I am actually very happy with it again. Thank you, Andrea!

I had a Swedish/Deep tissue Massage. I asked Ashley to concentrate on some areas, that due to some intense excersize, needed some additional attention. She did a great job. I would highly recommend this spa and especially Ashley. Everyone I came in contact with, were very cordial and helpful.

Related to The Hair Company and the 808 extensions: I purchased 808 extensions from the Hair Shop last month when their staff member told me they were on par with Great Lengths, which is what I usually used. My stylist put a color on the ends (peroxide and ammonia-free) and put them in my hair like normal. Within two weeks, if I moved my head at all, they would knot and matt. Finally, I decided after two extensions ripped out when I was brushing a knot in the extensions about mid-way down, it was time to take them out. My stylist was appalled at the quality of these, saying she had never had that experience before with them. I spoke with the company and was told they would give me a store credit if the hair was tested and found to be tainted. I brought the hair in (along with the clumps of hair which came out with the extensions) and was told by the owner, Adam, that he would send them in, but he was embarrassed to do so because they had been colored, and my stylist should know better. Mind you, my stylist has made a major name for herself in the hair extension world. He told me he was not willing to do anything to make up for the horrible Barbie hair which was sold to me under the statement from his staff that it was Great Lengths quality. When I asked him about customer service, he told me I needed to be angry at my stylist and not the extensions. This is a hair supplier who works with plenty of stylists in town. Surely, my stylist is not the first one to apply a stain (which should not damage the extension at all). The fact that I was told he basically didn't care about my experience makes me feel that others needs to be aware of not only his lack of care regarding the people who keep him in business, but also puts stylists at risk of damaging their relationships with clients. He was quick to talk poorly about my stylists work and even quicker to shove blame from the extensions. Be warned. My hair now has gaping holes from where the extensions were matted and ripped and my hair itself is now thinner and looks like I fried it off because of the damage from the knots which presented themselves. It should also be known that I have had extensions before and know how to take care of them, and also know that three weeks for extensions to go this bad is not normal. Don't make the same mistake I did. Use Great Lengths. And purchase them from anyone BUT The Hair Company and Adam.

I always am warmly welcomed by the front desk staff as well as my stylist Samantha. I am sad to hear that she is moving on, but look forward to starting with a new stylist as I know they will provide me with the same excellent service that I have always gotten.

If you need extensions, this is the salon.. I get mine done by melissa. I have had my hair ruined by different extension experts. If not ruined, I always had a mullet that no one could manage to blend. Melissa has done an amazing job with my hair. The blending and application is perfect. My husband was one to point out the mullet and he is very pleased with melissa, also. The cost of the extensions is not cheap of course. But you know what they say, you get what you pay for”. Well, melissa is worth it!

I just got a syringe of Restylane Lyft by Diane. First off, the salon /spa is beautiful! Staff is so welcoming and friendly. The spa waiting area is quiet, relaxing, and smells like lavender. The injector, Diane, is very informative. She listened to what I was self conscience about and addressed how to improve it. I felt very comfortable. Love my natural results.

I come to this spa to see Phoenix. She is an aesthetician at Canyon. I have had issues with my skin for a long time. Oily, frequent breakouts, and dark spots. She has made my skin a million times better. It's almost never oily anymore which is the best thing plus I have had about 70% less breaking out. If you suffer from this type of thing you know what it means to see any sort of improvements in your skin. This was significant changes after my first appointment and after each time I see her. She is not going to give you a puff facial which to me is useless. Ya know.....slap on a mask or whatever products they may be using and add a little shoulder massage thats what I call a puff facial. It's nice but not good for skin issues that need to be addressed with extractions and such. She is the best and I now don't have to waste anymore money or time searching. I am so happy to finally see my bad skin changing to great skin. Thank you Phoenix:)

Got a facial at this place before my bachelorette brunch and it was the best experience ever.The environment was super relaxing, the experience was not something ive ever had but it was so soothing, refreshing and freakin amazing that i was relaxed the entire day and felt like putty somewhat like one does after a really good massage. This lady is phenominal and highky skilled in what she does, that I don't have the words to describe her impeccable approach to delivering a first class experience. There is a huge difference between telling clients and prospects about focis on customer care and actually doing it. Yana's focus on customer satisfaction is second to none and I'm so amazed at her deep sense of positivity. Definitely need to give Renae Reed props on her mad skills on men, women's, boys, and the girl's cuts. Myself and some of the family (neices & nephew pictured) stopped in for a hair cut during vacation. We (12 of us) put her through the wringer and there was a 6 hour hair cutting, coloring, and styling marathon. She prevailed and we all came out looking like movie stars. This place is horrible! Asked for someone on a master level and she absolutely destroyed my hair! It was dead inside and the place was dirty and definitely dated. When I walked in, it reminded me of a failing salon but because they said they’d been there so long - I figured it was ok...how hard can it be to cover some roots ...apparently very hard and my girl was off for triple the time she said she would talking with her friends. My hair turned out brassy yellowish (hot roots)...basic brown touch up is so easy - she must’ve mixed it incorrectly.

Canyon Falls is wonderful! I initially purchased a Groupon for massage and facial and continued to use their services well after. I love that they use PCA skin care and their estheticians are professional, knowledgeable, and always make me feel relaxed. I can completely trust their recommendations. I would also suggest taking advantage of the wellness program. All you do is book your next appointment after the service/ within a certain amount of time and you get a considerably better price on the next facial.
