Absolutely horrible staff, doctor never spent more then 5 minutes with my child only refilled meds each time after we waited anywhere between 4-6 hours. They called me the day of our appointment to tell me they no longer took my insurance and we could not be seen and meds would not be refilled. They agree they made the changes in carriers over two months ago but failed to notify us. Disgrace to mental health services.

Mostly helpful and friendly staff. Waiting times can be a bit long.

Horrible and unprofessional treatment by Dr. Okeke and his office staff. After an initial appointment, I was told that I would be receiving some biofeedback treatment or something similar as well as scheduled for one on one counseling with a therapist. I was also given a prescription for a medicine that I had already been taking for 3 years and told to return in a month. When I checked out at the desk, they did not schedule my 2 therapies ordered. When I got home I called to try to schedule them and was told they would get back to me. After more than a week of several attempts to solve this issue, I received no callback, texts, emails, nothing. Also after receiving my prescription from the pharmacy, I found out it was for only a 15 day supply, which wasn't even enough to medicate me till my next scheduled appointment. After repeated attempts to get any type of help or solution to these issues without any reply, I canceled my upcoming appointment and will find a new psych doctor who cares and follows through with his promises for treatment. I will also add that on the day my first appointment, Dr. Okeke was more than 2 hours late and none of his patients were notified or given any option to make alternative arrangements and all were quite disgruntled with some walking out and others expressing their displeasure. Avoid this office at all costs.

Dr Okeke Is by far the worst Psychiatrist / doctor I have ever met in my life and I have seen a lot. He has no care for the patient and only cares about the paycheck. He types if you words in his computer see was with the symptoms he may be interested in ... . I was on something that works for seven years and he took me off of it which has now caused me to spiral down words. I came in trying to treat depression and now I’m even worse. Shame on you and you should be fired

Dr. Arceo is amazing!! He's the type of dedicated employee we should all strive to be. Dr. Arceo truly cares.. not the appeasing- I'm pretending to care attitude.. He really does care. If you have a difficult diagnosis, he takes the time to figure it out. Almost like it's a personal challenge. He's not just going to throw any diagnosis out there without knowing that's it's correct. He asks a lot of questions and is not afraid to open his books which is a great thing, because face-it, not many of us remember everything that we learned in college (not me) or even secondary schooling. We remember what we like. When a doctor opens a book that means he's staying on top of current medical information and he cares enough to open the book. I wish all doctors were that thorough. In my opinion Dr. Arceo is if Mayo clinic calibur.

First week as a new client, and put on all new medications. I went into a deep depression became very weak and had to keep calling to see the doctor over and over until something would work. So I found my old doctor who has compassion for all her clients and she’s knows what she’s doing. I won’t ever return to this place.

I love Dr. Arceo so much! He’s changed my life in so many ways. Thank you.

I don't like having to come every month. Most providers here are good but there is one who is horrible. She was filling in for Nathan on 03-29. Condescending and rude. Avoid Deborah Perkins at all costs. Will never return here.

My experience with Dr. Arceo was incredible to say the least. He made me feel extremely comfortable to be there. Prior to seeing him, my doctor had me on multiple medications and I was not feeling any better. Dr. Arceo was able to find a medication that would not only make me feel better, but make me feel like a whole new person. He is extremely knowledgeable about the medications he prescribes, and makes sure you understand the medication you are taking as well. I would definitely recommend giving him a try. He is a professional, and provides you with a relaxing feeling. It was easy to open up about my problems because I did not feel judged. If you need a new doctor, Dr. Arceo is the person to go to.

I've had terrible tics for years and seen several doctors for them, but Dr. Arceo is by far the best I've had. He always takes the time to explain his thought process to me so that I understand why taking a new medication should help. He has been extremely attentive to my needs, he's a great guy, and he's easy to talk to. All things I want in a doctor. I would strongly recommend him to absolutely anyone.

Wanted to give them a fair shot, so I stuck to the prescriptions for a few months. However, it wasn't hard to notice that my inability to focus when awake and fall asleep before 4:00am were not going to be resolved here. In fact, the treatment given only made it worse.

Dr. Arceo is a five star Phyciatrist! I am extremely fortunate to be under his care, he goes above and beyond for his patients. I couldn't ask for a more competent and caring caregiver. Thank you very much Dr. Arceo!!

Outrageous Unprofessional We started with Dr. Okeke although we've only seen Dr. Moseri. Unfortunately, as a result of HIM leaving got reassigned to DR VANESSA PARKER. Worst version of a Professional Female with a Doctrine to choose. This woman by far sets Professionalism/Women backwards.

We have LOVED Dr. Arceo. However the office staff has admitted to forgetting to check us in so we've waited for hours for our appointment. And today, after 2 days and 8 phone calls they told us they submitted a prior authorization to insurance we needed 3 days ago. When talking to insurance they confirmed that was a lie and it had only been submitted that day. Because of their lack of organization we had to pay out of pocket for some meds. With the diagnosis of this patient we really can't let him skip medication. They didn't give us any info until I drove down there. Very unorganized and unprofessional. However, we love Dr. Arceo. Will be looking to transfer the patient to another office because we can't risk having to continue paying out of pocket because they ignore our calls.

I am absolutely thrilled with this place. The staff was phenomenal! They took time to understand why I was there and for once in a very long time I left with hope.

I went to Grand Desert Psychiatric Services on Friday, June 7 at 1:00 pm. I was referred to them by Dr. Evan Allen, MD who is my Primary Care Doctor. The psychiatrist, Dr. Okeke, prescribed me Vistaril (Hydroxyzine Pam 25 mg) and Zoloft (Sertraline HCL 50 mg) because of my Depression/Anxiety. I've been having increasingly intense migraines and headaches, I was told to change my diet/lifestyle to deal with them. I switched to a vegetarian diet and increased physical activity as well as to increase my hours of sleep each night, I still am getting these headaches. So that is why I sought out a psychiatrist. I was prescribed medication and told to do a two-week follow up, but the next available appointment that they were able to give me was on Monday, July 8 by 2:00 pm. I filled the Zoloft, but when I contacted CVS they said that the other prescription (Hydroxyzine Pam 25 mg; aka Vistaril) is on back-order and would be in by at 5 pm. But when I came in on that day after work they said it's on permanent back-order and they can't fill the prescription so I was instructed to contact my doctor to be prescribed a different medication entirely. On Wednesday, June 12 at 3:51 pm. The exchange went like called the doctor's office: Call the pharmacy and tell them that you need a note saying that they won't fill your prescription. Pharmacy: We don't have any notes, have the doctor's office call us and they can talk to the pharmacist to verify. Doctor's office: They can fax the note to us, but if they can't then they should call us to let us know that they can't fill the prescription. Pharmacy: Okay we will call the doctor to see what we can switch it to. Then when I called back to check on Tuesday, June 18 the pharmacy said the doctor's office had not gotten back to them so they were waiting on a return call from the doctor's office. I called the doctor's office on Tuesday, June 18 at 3:00 pm and they said that they would "look into the matter and to wait to hear back from them". I called back on Thursday, June 20 at 8:53 am, to check the status and the receptionist (Angelica) said that they didn't see anything in my file about what the situation is. I would need to wait for the medical assistant to contact me to see what the status is. I called back at 10:55 am to see if the medical assistant was available to speak with and the representative (Shanice) said that they would pass along messages as soon as they were available so I needed to wait. I am still waiting, there is no sense of urgency or care that I’ve seen demonstrated by the staff or the doctor. I’ve given more than enough chances and opportunities to remedy this situation, I’m still getting the run around if they don’t want me as a patient just say so but don’t leave me sitting here ringing my hands.
