Dr Gupta is the best psychiatrist I have ever had! He is a truly caring doctor that wants his patients to feel the best they can. If you are willing to be an open patient then you will benefit from Dr Gupta but you have to be willing to be open and do your part as a patient looking for relief. You rock Dr Gupta, very grateful to have found you! Also regarding the staff, they are always very friendly and helpful, great overall experience.
PA Isabella Osposka under Dr Gupta hurried me through, kept cutting me off, gave me an erroneous diagnosis, treated me with harshness & disrespect and then refused to treat me or to let me transfer to the actual DR (whom I was under the impression I was going to see the whole time). The office manager wasn't much nicer when she returned my call. She was short with me and even after explaining I was always asking to schedule with Dr Gupta, she refused to allow it. I left in tears after begging for help (as it always takes months to get in any where & I was out of meds & in real emotional distress). Most unprofessional, unempathetic experience I've ever had. And this is coming from someone who works in the field and am around therapist's and psychiatrists all the time. Completely unacceptable!!! STEER CLEAR IF THIS WOMAN! SHE WILL TEAR YOU DOWN & WRONGLY DIAGNOSE YOU. She has no clue what she's doing and my complaint will be going all the way to the board.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Gupta for almost 5 years now. He is very kind, empathetic, thorough, and knowledgeable! I’ve been on this horrible ‘journey’ which has included hospitals (psychiatric), and many differently psychiatrists since my diagnosis 18 years ago. Dr. Gupta is by FAR the best, and has helped me more than anything or anyone has before. I’d like to give a shoutout to the staff, as well. OUTSTANDING! They are very compassionate and accommodating! Thank you all!
The "ladies" at the front desk are completely unprofessional . They create an unwelcoming environment and are very rude . They do NOT make eye contact, they do not acknowledge you when you enter the facility . You can barley understand them when they answer the phones . They do not communicate well at all .
Not great...front desk staff is really rude.
Do your research and decide for yourself if this guys qualified. Google search his name and you'll find a Review Journal article at top of the search with article. This Dr. was fired in the scandle 3 years ago when the hospital he worked for was sending patience on buses to Sacramento. This was all over the news.
A real lack of empathy. At every appointment, he would ask why I was taking a particular drug, a drug he prescribed and has authorized many refills. He was very reluctant to authorize time off from work when I was having severe panic attacks, mood swings, and tics related to the anxiety. He and his staff were not friendly, but cold and dismissive. If you’re looking for a good psychiatrist in Las Vegas keep looking.
Isabella is amazing! They take the time to listen the front staff is so nice, yeah they may get busy but they’re still professional I really do appreciate this office and what they do for me. If you want a good doctor I would recommend this place!
I have been to more doctors and been on more meds than I can remember. Dr. Gupta asked me questions and genuinely listened to my concerns. Within three visits, he had me feeling better than I have in years. He doesn’t just try to drown your symptoms with medication. He definitely displays more care and consideration than most doctors, especially psychiatrist. I would highly recommend Dr. Gupta to anyone.
Thank you so much to the staff and Dr Gupta. We have had great experience with the staff and he truly cares about his patients. I would refer him to anyone who needs a thorough Psychiatrist to help them regulate or make sure they are on the correct medicine dose etc. He understands drug interactions and side effects. Thank you thank you.
Great Doctor. Professional and understanding. So happy I found him.
Anurgag Gupta, Has been one of the best Dr's that I have ever had... From the first day we met he has helped me concord many challenges that my life has sent my my way. He has a heart of gold ,and the staff are super great. It was the saddest day in my life to let this Dr. go..he has been with me for over 5+ yrs. I would recommend him to everyone who is looking for compassion, understand, and someone to help you find ways to better your situations. Thank you Dr. Gupta, and you will never forgotten. Izabella was a total pleasure, She was easy to talk to and really seemed interested in what I had to say and also shared aspects of her life. The young ladies at the front desk were very friendly and the experience was perfect!!!
Izabella is great, I just finished seeing her and I couldnt have got a better physician. She honestly wanted to figure out what was wrong with me. I did enjoy her. Wished I would've found her sooner and I hope she can fix me!
Awesome Doctor, listens and helps not a long wait to get in he works with you to help solve your issues. Highly recommended Carollynn632
Dr. Gupta has helped my family greatly, but the front desk staff have been extremely rude at times. I'm guessing you have to catch them on a good day to have a pleasant experience.
He's a racist POS that doesn't know the difference from Prozac to EX Lax!!! HAHAHAHAHHA F!!!!! B!!!!!!!
He is a wonderful doctor! Been seeing him 3.5 years! He listens to me and really does want to help!
Dr gupta is the best psychiatrist I've been to
I agree with the person who said He has a lousy staff. For a doctor's office with people that have anxiety and other problems. They need a more professional staff and not with a no care attitude!!!!
Isabella is the worst psychiatrist I have ever been to. I moved to a different state and am going to a psychiatrist here. I spent the last year slowly getting off the 5 very dangerous medications that Isabella prescribed for no reason. I have had migraines every moment of every day for the past year and it is all because of Isabella not spending enough time listening and not knowing what is the best medicine to prescribe. Every medicine I got fully off of I "MAGICALLY" started feeling better and the issues I was having while on the medicine changed for the better. I told Isabella about all of the issues I was having and she told me it will change. I asked her to take me off of them and she said they seem to be helping you improve so lets keep going forward with them. I didn't know any better until I me the psychiatrist I have now. I cannot believe I listened to Isabella. I am now on a much safer regiment of medications, not the 4 anti-psychotic medications I was on just because I told her I was having panic attacks caused by anxiety. DO NOT EVER SEE ISABELLA. THIS PERSON SHOULD NOT WORK IN THE MEDICAL FIELD.
Dr Gupta is truly a great, knowledgeable and caring doctor. He’s helped me through many difficult times and is willing to spend the time to make sure the treatments are working and adjust as needed. Plus appointments are normally on time or very close, which is hard to find in this town!
I'm able to.communicate and release issues or pain that causes issues to have me filled with animosity...That part of the way I keep my body spirit, and cleanses my mi]
Dr. Anurag has helped me so much. I never thought it was possible to get the help that i needed until he became my doctor and i couldn't thank him enough. Staff is amazing as well.
excellent doctor. my daughter has been seeing him for 3 years and son for 1 1/2 years. He listens and follows through with medication needed. We trust and respect his suggestions and recommendations.
Best psychiatrist you'll be able to find here in Vegas, but yes the staff isn't the friendliest.
The 2 girls at the front desk are immature and unprofessional. You can't understand what they are saying when they answer the phone . They speak very fast and get annoyed when you ask them to repeat something. They gave me the wrong paperwork to fill out then laughed when they realized the mistake. They forgot forms too. Read all the negative reviews about the front desk and I wonder WHY they are still working there!!
Awesome doctor but lousy staff members. No phone etiquette, short, bold, and rude. Moving on to another full/better service. If you call a psychiatrist office, you should receive a nicer, empathetic, people person respondent.
I was referred to Dr Gupta from my long term psychiatrist of about 12 years who cannot Take my insurance any longer. I have been on my current medications for 7 years and have been stable. My first visit was with Dr Gupta, who would only see me if I decreased my Xanax to 3mg, vs the 4mg I have been taking for at least the last 7 years. He seemed thorough... he kindly asked me if I masterbated more at certain times.. I suppose that was ok due to my bipolar diagnosis years ago. My only concern was to try and change my medication of Latuda, which was costing me about $350/mo, even with insurance. He recommended changing to Lamotrigine, stating only that is does not cause weight gain. I was then passed of to his PA, Isabella Osposka. During the course of about 3 months, she steadily increased my dosage of Lamotrigine to 300mg. She also only prescribe 2 mg of Xanax. She asked me if I had nightmares, which I occasionally do. She proceeded to tell me that I do not have anxiety, but that I have PTSD. I do not have PTSD, no flashbacks or nightmares of any trauma. She stated I will be taken off Xanax and that there will be a med for PTSD. ??? Unfortunately, I have had some serious side effects from the Lamotrigine. I called yesterday and left a message for Isabella at 9:15AM. She did return my call at approx 7pm. I was trying to explain what I was experiencing (which was indicated on my pharmacy sheet), but she seemed very impatient, and just told me to reduce my dosage to 200mg and “we’ll see what happens”. I woke this morning with even more severe side effects, just one being terrible pain in all my joints and muscles, (I was crying due to the pain, which never happens), along with several other problems. I called her office this morning to seek advice, and was told that I would have to make an appointment, that she would not take my phone call. At this point, I do not know if I should go to the emergency room, or just “see what happens”. I am unable to perform my basic household tasks, and I can’t drive myself to the ER due to the pain. I just don’t know what to do.
Dr. Gupta is wonderful! He is empathetic and caring. Nonjudgemental and open minded. A great listener and confidante. I can't say enough about him! He is the best psychiatrist I have ever had! And that is saying something!!
Dr. Gupta is the first doctor that has helped me to become stable in the 17 years since diagnosis. I have been in remission since last November. He listens to my concerns and I feel that I have a real say in my treatment.
