Roddy and his assistant did an amazing job for our wedding in May 2013. He got all of the formal pictures along with some great candid shots. We were all wondering how he was able to capture so many intimate moments throughout the ceremony and reception. He got to my house right on time and stayed later when the reception continued to party for 20 more minutes. He also had my pictures ready to view in 2 weeks, which is unheard of! I highly recommend Roddy!

We researched several photographers for our wedding this past March and they were either too expensive or we were not impressed by their portfolios. Then we came across Roddy Orgeron's website. We immediately loved his style of photography and his packages were in our budget! From the first time Roddy and I spoke to even after the wedding, he was always so friendly, professional and helpful! He made us feel very comfortable before and on the day of the wedding. It was also great to have 2 people photographing instead of one. Our guests were even saying how great a job our photographer did because they were everywhere snapping away! We got our pictures back exactly when he said we would, we did not have to "chase" him down like I have heard other people having to do. We were so pleased at how the pictures came out and how many we got! He was able to capture the important moments as well as great candid ones. We could not be happier with our choice in Roddy! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer!

Roddy Orgeron Photography captured our wedding day better than we imagined possible! Roddy is easy going, fun to work with, and really cares about delivering what's important to the couple. I thought the photography/photographer aspect of the wedding was going to be the worst/hardest part, but I was very wrong-- and I believe that is because of who we chose to capture our wedding day!

We booked Roddy after doing a Google Search for New Orleans Wedding Photographer. We were travelling in from out of the country to elope and wanted a top notch photographer to capture the special moments. The few photographers I looked at did not impress me.... Roddy's skillful pictures captured my attention immediately! I have been a professional make up artist for almost 2 decades, and I have quite a bit of experience with excellent photographers. I immediately knew that Roddy was the guy for us! Thankfully he was available, and after a couple of long distance telephone conversations, we booked him. This guy knows New Orleans. He knows his way in and around the greater NOLA area and is pretty much an expert on everything French Quarter. We'd been to New Orleans twice before, so we had an idea of the places we wanted to be shot in, and Roddy was amazing to work with. We took SO many pictures and they turned out absolutely gorgeous! Roddy was super easy going, a very friendly guy, he kept us relaxed, he was just a really fun and professional person to work with. If you're looking at eloping in New Orleans or having a French Quarter Wedding, if it's a New Orleans Destination Wedding, or even if you're a local - I can't recommend Roddy enough! Worth. Every. Penny. If I had to do it all over again, I'd book him for another 2 hours - he was THAT good!

I can say in complete confidence that the best choice I made in my wedding (besides my choice in groom) was hiring Roddy (& his assistant Jamie) as our photographers! The overall experience with him went way beyond what I had imagined or expected. They worked so quickly to capture the meaningful moments of our day. Roddy did an amazing job photographing my surprise proposal and then shooting engagement photos the next day. His skill as a photographer paired with his knowledge of the city creates some of the best photographs I have ever seen for proposal and engagement sessions. Reviewing his portfolio, I knew he was going to be able to create beautiful, artistic photographs using both lighting and scenery, but what I didn't realize was his ability to capture the emotion of the proposal with photographs of intimate moments like the first tear of joy rolling down my fiance's cheek as she hugged me tightly after saying yes! These are the shots you won't necessarily see on his public portfolio, but will make you so happy that you chose him to be your photographer. Roddy is not only an extremely gifted photographer, but also a great person. Whether it is a head shot, proposal, wedding, graduation, or another special event, I highly recommend Roddy to be your photographer.
