Many memories of long study sessions here. Multiple floors plenty of quiet spaces, huge amount of books. Coffee shop downstairs :)

If you're a student, you definitely should take advantage of the private study rooms, they're such a valuable resource. I really wish the place was open later for those late night study sessions.

Great place to study. Awsome coffee shop on the first floor. However, they sometimes close due to weather conditions without notifying people on their website!

Plenty of great resources here, but there are cleanliness issues throughout the library that need to be addressed. Worst is the bathrooms. They reek like old urine, always. Especially the 1st and 2nd floors, the smell is intolerable. 2nd floor computer area needs more frequent vacuuming and wiping down of computer desks/keyboards. I used a private study room recently, it was fine but had no ventilation and so it kind of stunk like locker room B.O. in there. Also would be nice if we got upgrades to some of the chairs. Most are uncomfortable. Especially those ancient wood chairs... Edit: I appreciate the reply to my review. I'm glad to hear there was deep cleaning scheduled over spring break! Hope the library stays at a higher level of cleanliness from now on.

Dont use their book store. Everytime I went here, I was treated like they thought I wanted to steal the whole store. SO hostile and insulting it makes me want to spend my money elsewhere. I asked where scissors were and the guy asked me if I was going to buy them or just wanted to borrow them. WOW! He probably felt pretty dumb when he saw my wallet is worth more than his paycheck.

Has everything you would need for a college campus. Great research tools, amazing rental possibilities, tons of room to study, and coffee on site. Also, tutors are available to assist with many classes.

Best library in Portland. PSU affiliates can easily book study rooms and extend checkouts online. Not crawling with weirdos like the Central Library a few blocks north.

It is a big library which is located in a center of downtown. They have wifi for gusts. It is a little bit old and dirty though.

This is a really special campus. It is set right in downtown. The greenbelt following the center of the streets between the lines of university buildings really gives you a special university feel. The buildings are in good shape. The classes I took were fun and interesting.

The library is a really great place. but it needs to have longer hours. I would be in there right now studying for finals... but I can't because it is not open. - The PSU Library should be 24/7 throughout the whole term. - what is more important than providing students a safe and reliable place to study? Studying is directly correlated with grades. And we don't have a place to study for a good portion of the week.

Too cool of a location for a college library, very inviting. Anyone that dose not look homeless or nervous can go in and relax. Food and drinks in trash often. Don't try to hop in the cloths bins near by... even at four in the morning kids will call the cops on ya.
