Jefferson County Library is a great place to relax in a comfortable chair and get lost in your favorite book. There are computers for use to bo work away from the office or just look up your favorite recipies. You could spend hours researching Oregon history in thier dedicated section or look at the lastest issue of your favorite magazine. The wounderful library staff is more than happy to help find and order any book located in orher libraries as well. They also have great children programs in thier colorful childrens area. A great place for the family.

The library staff were very welcoming and able to answer every question I had, even stopping to walk me step-by-step through the more technical issues of obtaining library resources & info across various devices. Additionally, it is worth noting that the entire library, though occupied by young children, teenagers, and a wide range of adults, existed in a comfortable level of quietude, ensuring a pleasant experience for all, as well as optimal study conditions. Plenty of tables & comfortable seating coupled with good lighting is much appreciated as well. Plenty of parking too. This may be a small town library. However, they have gone to great lengths to ensure that virtually all the resources available at a large urban library are available locally.
