If you'd ever been to the old library in the strip mall next to the Clackamas Town Center than you know what an amazing improvement this new library is. It is huge, beautiful, and staffed with friendly people. So why 4 stars not 5? Well the hours are rather short, only open 6 hours on Sundays, and sporadic, not open many mornings. Only other complaint is it can be hard to get a computer on a busy day. It is rather frustrating to wait 20 minutes to print a return shipping label because every computer is being used. Especially frustrating when half of those computers are being used by teenagers to play online first person shooter video games. Otherwise a great example of what a good library should be.

This is our favorite library. The park across the street is a lot of fun too. We will often go to the library get a few books. I can read while my kids play.

I absolutely love this library. Favorite place to go in town. Wide, well organized selection of books, movies, music, magazines and audiobooks. There are always friendly staff avail le to help, and just across the street there is a fun park with paved bike paths and crazy climbing structures. Great place! I want to work there.

Customer Service is above anything our family could have hoped for here!!! Your employee, Isaac, has become a special part of our reason for making the trip to Happy Valley library EVERY time. We moved further away and many libraries are much closer to our home but we drive to happy valley in that my kids (4 and 5 years old) are excited to see Isaac each time. He always greats us with a SMILE and suggestions of new books! My youngest wrote inside her book and was very disappointed in herself. The grace and humility Isaac showed her as always resonated with her. Thank you Isaac for your continued love and support for the kids and our family!

The library is a wonderful place, the staff are always happy to help you, and their selection of books never ceases to amaze me. My only complaint is that I never know when it will be open! I would suggest that if you plan on going here, you check the hours first, as they are a bit inconsistent.

Yes, the library is often too cold but they are working to solve this. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. What a great space to browse and find wonderful titles. One reviewer noted, "who reads books anymore?" but there are DVDs, Magazines, CD audiobooks, you can get a bunch of ebooks via the LibraryToGo system, plus there are an amazing variety of special events/classes weekly. This library is such an asset to our community.

You can go to a site online and have copies sent to print and pick them up right away and very cheap too!!!!!! I also love that theres a park right out front!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perfect for the kids

It's beautiful and pleasant inside. The kids section doesn't have much toys/activities, but lots of kids books. I love the way the sections are labeled, it's easy to find the topic I need. There is also a park by the library.

This library is big and they do lots of fun things for the kids. Today they had a puppet show. They have read time for different ages and other fun activities. They have outstanding customer service. This is my favorite library.

Really nice layout with friendly staff. Tonight was a treat, they had a guitarist playing. It was very nice to listen to while reading and doing homework.
