I come to this library many times for book selections in the past and their bookstore. The staff is friendly and they are there to help. Its also a good place to read and study.

Pro: provides outlets at most tables. Also provides study rooms, all you need is a library card or drivers license. Con: library is usually pretty noisy due to babies and loud people that don't realize that they're in a library.

When you feel like shopping, and have no money to spend, go to the library and check out books (or audio tapes, or movies, or music, or magazines, or like the town I grew up in: paintings-- you could check out the paintings on the wall for a month at a time). Going to the library is a highly under-rated, sleeper adventure. Check out books even if you only read a sentence and return them to the shelf in a week. Wander the shelves and pick up random books about art and artists, architects, rocket ships, history, biography, mystery, romance, your land, foreign lands, food and philosophy, because knowledge is free. Let's keep it that way. Support your local library!

Great selection of books. I have had a great experience with staff up until today. Avoid the Asian guy with the beard, who is about 5’8” tall on the first floor as you walk in the door. This employee was posted in the area where you check books out in front of customer service desk. The man is abrupt, has no customer service skills and is not helpful in anyway. If he asks if he can help you say no and find someone else. I have a few more books to return to this location and I will not be returning here. I have never been treated in such a disrespectful way. I suggest the county hire employees that know how to listen and treat people with respect.

Very glad it offers download of e-books on kindle, but its ridiculous to have to go in every year to renew a library card in person. Even the DMV allows for online renewals of drivers license - which need a bit more training to use than a library card. The library should join the modern age in this regard.

Great library! It's usually busy, but the openness & second floor helps disperse the action. The sitting tables tend to fill up fast, but there is almost always a private room available. All of the employees that I've encountered are extremely friendly & helpful. They have a wide selection & a fast self checkout. Thanks Sahara Library for being so awesome!

The Sahara West Library has the best selection of audio books on CD, which is why I drove from across town in the east to pick up my audio books, but lately I have begun to appreciate your art. The art on the walls is extraordinary. Your library is unique compared to the libraries throughout Las Vegas, Nevada.

Place is decent enough, and the people have always been very kind and helpful... Even when there's someone who's been standing in line behind me at the information desk for a total of 90 seconds and is projecting obscenities about the service. Ninety seconds. Maybe your pressing library business shouldn't wait until ten minutes before they close, but if you need help Becky at information will be super cool... you might not think so if you're expecting some Ritz treatment, I guess... The Library itself has a lot to offer and the customer service is quite wonderful! Liz and Ron in the computer center were very nice and helpful, though the computers and the printers ceased to work. If you need to do anything but use a fax/printer, then this location is perfect for you!
