For a kids library you have to expect a toddler to cry when you leave. All the toys and books bring joy to a kid. But when the staff looks at your kid in disgust for loving the place. Seems a bit wrong

My family and I love going to the library. Our children really enjoy the social interactions with others their age as they play and share the toys and books. Although the library is a bit cozy, it's nice to see there are computers to use and quiet places to read personally or as a group. We find the event calender very helpful when searching for educational family events to take part in. We also really appreciate the Native American Center and the Historical information it provides concerning the Maidu tribe that once resided here. Overall, we're very grateful and fortunate to have Maidu as a part of our beautiful city.......even if the WIFI is slow.

Pleasant, clean, and more amenities than most libraries. Great facility, great staff. In addition, it's walkable! Pedestrian connections to the adjacent open space are evidence of decent planning.
