This is really a public treasure for Pleasanton residents. The staff is attentive and patient, tons of resources (particularly through the Link+ inter-library sharing), and beautiful interior. It can get very crowded after school lets out, so plan your visit accordingly.

It's a very good library. The collection is great but the sad part is exploiting the Xerox machine. I have seen a lean Chinese lady (white hair) almost taking copies for 2 days straight!

There was a woman who talked loud (conference calls) on her phone and computer in the children studying area. Reported it to the librarian (Mary) who worked at the children desk. She didn't stop the person who talked loud on the phone. Instead she shutted me down and told me that I should move if I complained. There was a table tag clearly address "Please silence all electronic devices and take extended or loud conversations outdoors." Mary confused and failed to apply for their own rules. Her attitude was very rude too. No wonder Pleasanton library feels like a supermarket, messy, loud and children run wild because of these incompetent staff who couldn't understand and apply for their own rules.

Staff and kids volunteers are very helpful . And I like the collection of all books and their events. My daughter likes to read all disney collection books .

Great library. Seems like they have pretty much everything, particularly good for me is their selection of audiobooks. Too bad it also has to serve as a daycare center for a nearby school.

A wonderful place for the kids and readers . Anytime you go you find a lot of events and fun going on for the kids . My kid has a gala time every time she visits the place . She has become a voracious reader after enrolling in the library - I am so grateful .There is all the books that you wish to read present in the library , magazines . Beside reading and renting books it is a place for a lot of other stuff - You can rent a laptop within the premises and do a lot of stuff like printing , browsing ,playing games and watching movies - the speed there is wonderful . You can use the desktop for the same purpose as well . You can scan ,print and fix using the terminals You can rent a wide variety of movies DVD and CD Children have a host of events during the summer break and fall -games , movies , events , magic shows etc. Adults do have their share of fun too - quiet zones , internet office , Photography seminars , Job counselling , tax counselling etc The website provides links to various programs and events around the city and other useful resources . Also it provides login to check the checkout and renew materials . You have a play zone for kids for enjoying their time after reading A wonderful place to be

This is a great library with a good selection and a wonderful work area. However, if you hope for quiet, don't come here between 3-6pm on weekdays. The kids flock here and are very loud and obnoxious. The library seems to encourage kids to hang out, with actual signs suggesting as much.

Very well equipped and planned. I was looking for german bike section and diff not get much. Paintings and bold sections including laptops are wonderful ideas. Checkouts are superfast.

I love the Pleasanton library. They have so many friendly librarians that help the people find what books they can't find.( the friendly librarians are everywhere, especially in the Children's area ). I also like this library because they have kid activities like the summer reading program, which helps kids improve their reading

Very friendly staff but, when the kids get put school and come to a quiet library its very noisy and they can't control it, so they run wild.

This is a good place to work during the day (not after school or on weekends) as it gets loud when the kids come in after school. There's plenty of space to work and they have a decent work area.

Great library. Free printing, but some older women come here and print stacks! Embarrassing, I almost have to say something! Sad sad. Taking advantage. I see practice SATs. Omg. Like 3 multiple choice questions per page. Inches thick! It's bad.

I love this library and both of my girls love the books, DVDs, summer reading program and summer shows! I get almost all of my Bookclub books here even newer releases!

A perfect place for all ages to spend quality time. Huge collection of books, DVDs, VHSs for kids of different ages and for adults. There are designated sections like quiet, semi quiet, kids area etc. We can book rooms for discussions or study in advance. Frequent events for kids & teens. Recently added laptops to checkout and use while you are at library. Story time for kids and volunteer programs for teens available. I did see some recurring sessons on Legal help, lanugage training, investments etc.

my dick is small

It's good but some of the librarians are kind of rude, not gonna say any names (The lady named Renee) or however the hell you say it. I feel like some of them just want to kick kids out. Like one group of kids got kicked out... For signing yearbooks! And little 4 year olds are always watching Minecwaft videos on the HOMEWORK computers!
