Most staff are very helpful and plesent to talk with. Most materials are in good condition and doesn't take long for an order to be delivered. But public computers always seem to have issues running properly, the line at the front desk almost always moves slowly, And very unclean (personal hygiene) people frequent this library.

Ohh my God. People talk loud and answer calls anyhow. The securities don't go around to see what's happening. 1minute silence and 10mins noisy. The workers are awesome but the securities need to sit up from that their station and walk around. I almost called it a market place not a library. Please do something about this lousiness in the library

Excellent community library. Huge selection of books. Really appreciate the quarantined kids area with the posted guard right there, if help is needed. Staff is excellent and always willing to help with great attitudes. Take my kids there all the time. Located downtown so walking around after the library is fun too.

Lots of space to do work/read at, 10 free pages to print, my son gets his own library card and check out his own books. We both can be on the computer at the same time since we both can have a card. He loves it, I like it. They should open earlier though. Just my opinion.

This is one of the biggest libraries in the county and I love all libraries but sadly I gotta ding this one for not doing more about homeless people doing their laundry in the sinks of the bathroom. Gross.

This is a great place to go it's been getting quieter over the years its a great place to read and study I have come here lots of times and they usually have the books I'm looking for great place.

Public Restrooms are currently out of order and the air conditioning has much to be desired. As a taxpayer this is a little disappointing. Good study space and free WiFi.

My daughter loves it here. They have games for kids, colors and papers and some puzzles. And the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff is so patient, kind, helpful, and have forgiven fines I've had for delinquent books and movies, assisted with special inter library loans and helped facilitate obtaining copies of rate books that are very hard to locate, they've taken time away from their duties to walk me thru procedures on the computers, and in addition to that, permitted me to make dozens of copies/prints that I desperately needed to have, although I didn't have any money on me at the time to pay for them. They have been very good to me, are considerate to all, and have bent over backwards to be of assistance. They are truly a special group of people, and always a delight to deal with&a pleasant experience! Thank you to all of them for their dedication!!

One of the better places to go with your children around the city, my kids love coming here and we rent books regularly and I think it's convenient as well. They do all sorts of activities during the month so be sure to check in on what's going on inside.

Went for book fair and was extremely disappointed. I love books and was going to get a bunch, but the people were not helpful at all. First, we came during the posted elderly and diabled hours, because of my 4yo son. Not all disabilities are visible!! They told us public can come in at 330 and I replied that we are here for the disabled hours because of my son. They proceeded to bend down to his level and say, "oh hello cutie, what is wrong with you"?? Seriously? You dont ask the kid whats wrong with them. It completely freaked him out and he hid under the table. Then we were told we couldnt go in without a library card, even though that was nowhere on the website and we drove an hour to get there. We finally got to go in, but by that time my son was a mess anyways, so we were only there maybe 10 mins. Then we got told 5 more times while we there that we couldnt be there during that time unless we were elderly or disabled and had to come back at 330. Seriously, not all disabilities are visible and it is extremely rude to ask a CHILD, or even his parent, what his disabilities are.

Nice and big, there's a place for everyone here. Teens have their own enclosed space where they can be loud, and the children's section is almost as large as the adult section! Friendly librarians finish off the atmosphere to make it a comfortable, fun place for the whole family!

Located on the Blvd makes it much desirable to visit. Great welcoming atmosphere inside. Security is on top of child security. Love it.

This library is large and clean but so noisy. I have come a few times to study and every time there are adults just chit chatting not even trying to be quiet and then it is a teeny bopper lounge with kids wanting to escape the heat and are disrespectful. I had to move study stations several times to try and find a quiet spot. The staff doesn’t even tell people to use their inside voice. I won’t be returning here to read or study. Bummer since it is close to my house. Oh, well.

I moved to Palmdale from the Pasadena area a little over a year ago. Currently seeking employment and decided to go the library to do just that. I've been to libraries in Los Angeles-Downtown, Pasadena, San Marino, South Pasadena, San Gabriel and Alhambra. Came to this library because I already have a County of Los Angeles library card. This was the NOISIEST library I've EVER been to! People are having LOUD conversations with each other. I witnessed people constantly on their phones and LOUD! People just sitting around chatting as if there are in a coffee shop. Even the employees are loud so I imagine the noise level I witnessed at this library is normal. I get that it can get loud sometimes, but there wasn't ANYONE monitoring the noise level and as I walked around trying to find a peaceful space, I could see that I won't be back.

This library is amazing! You can print your homework here at NO COST, since you get. 11 free pages. Great Young Adult book selection - they always have new releases less than a week after they've been released. Surprisingly well-stocked Spanish fiction section, lots of manga and graphic novels.

The place is clean and has a good variety of media and materials. The study and work areas have adequate tables, lighting, and electrical power capability. The place is loud for a library, however, which is distracting when trying to work, write, or perform research. I always carry earplugs and put them in, but some of the louder, frequent exclamations still bled through.
