What a great zoo! The paths are stroller-friendly, the landscaping is beautiful and the best part are the animals!!! You are so close and the animals are active and healthy. There were two playgrounds, perfect for my littles! The giraffe was my favorite part!!! Such an awesome zoo - go there now!!! Only downfall, we will have to wait until later in the season (mid-June I think) for the train rides.

Jason Chastain

Very cute and intimate. Our son loved running around and getting to feed the chickens! Very cool animals and nice walking paths with good fencing. We'll definitely be back!

Katie Hoffman

There are so many animals, you definitely get your $ worth! You can even get up close and personal with a giraffe, if you can handle the smell and sounds/sights of him regurgitating his food. Or buy a bird feeding stick and feed birds in the bird enclosure. They even have a couple of play areas for kids to get their energy out, inside the zoo. Plus spots to sit and eat a snack or picnic lunch. Plus some animals demonstrating mating and their private parts.

Alisha Sprangers

If I could give zero, I would. They had a zebra in with a just born baby camel, it still had its umbilical cord attached. The mom was doing her best to keep it away from the zebra. Well of course the zebra ends up kicking the newborn. After we called it to their attention they removed the zebra, and gave the baby a fast look over, hopefully it survives it and nothing internal happened. No animal should ever be in with a newborn and its mom! Also it is 86 degrees and most of the animals do not have a shaded area to get out of the sun.

Michelle Henrikson

Place was great! Especially the giraffe!

Tim Horejs

We take our kids here every year at least once. Always have a good time. Prices are good. Crowds are low. Even the youngest kids can spot the animals at every exhibit. Train ride is the best!(unique) Get there early(opening) when animals are most active!

Nikki D

Cute little place close to home love the petting zoo area

chris arriaga

Its a nice zoo besides the fact some animals enclosures are small.

Seth St. Aubin

Best Zoo in Wisconsin other than Milwaukee.

Julie Burmeister

Great Zoo for being small.

Kahlila Rose

Have a okay selection of animals

Suzanne Savage

Best little zoo ever! Monkeys were very interactive. Giraffe was friendly and also interactive. All the animals were fantastic.

Brock Saunders

Very family oriented zoo! Up close and personal for all ages! Great owners willing to do anything to see a child smile! Always a perfect place to go on any given day!

Eekicks

Expensive entry fees. Good abundance of animals for a small town zoo.

Sandi Kelch

This zoo was depressing. The animal cages were too small and lacked any sort of natural habitat. Throughout the zoo they had signs that stated the cages were at USDA and DNR standards...if this is true, the standards are miserably low. The gift shop was dirty, dusty and filled with thrift shore items. A used you horse was priced at $22.00. The saddest thing was the giraffe...alone In a bare enclosure. He was following us, vomiting and drooling. Nothing but a rubber ball. Ducks in exhibits with no water to swim in...the list goes on and on. We were there during feeding time and I do have to say the food appeared fresh and plentiful. The cashier told us the lion died due to leukemia it "caught" from wild cats that run through the zoo at night. I really am doubtful about this. Not a zoo I would reccommend...

Jay&emily Hollenbeck

A great plce for my young ones 2 and 4 yrs old and even my 13yrd son likef it..kinda expensive...but i guess well worth it..look foward to going again this fall and dont forget to pay extra..i know right...for the train ride and loud chaperone..lol

Cheyenne Dumke

If you like to see depressed animals in cages far too small for their size and enjoy seeing them anxiously pace then this is the place for you. The only thing to gain from this place is the knowledge of what not to do to animals and how not to treat them... I wish it wasn’t the case but it is. Just looking at the enclosure size should speak volumes about the care they give their animals. If you can’t Afford to give these exotic animals the space they deserve then you shouldnt be able to have them. Time to step up and become a better facility and a better advocate to these animals left in your “care”

Mr Rottman

Nice place, well worth a visit. I have been there numerous times and have NEVER seen anything of the nature that a certain country singer liked about!

Cal Stempel

Absolutely apalled at the conditions these animals are kept in. Lions literally in small cages that had more resemblance to a small trap then a large cat enclosure. None of the enclosures sizes were remotely humane. Seeing these animals in person is even more sad. Avoid places like this at all cost.

GB Webber

Such a fun place. Fairly small but you can see animals up close and even pet the giraffe! Fun playground, bird, and petting zoo area too.

Taylor Jahnke

If i could give this place zero stars, i would. They do not have the space or apparently the money, to treat their animals as they should. They have big exotic animals, in teeny little cages with no room to run. They are bored and anxious. They have lost or had stolen animals in the past. I tell everyone who asks, this place gives zoos a bad name. Take your kids to a sanctuary if you want them to see what an animal's habitat should really look like. Shameful.

Adam Calaway

My son was bit by one of their animals. There was a bench for children to climb onto to see the prairie dogs. When climbing up it, he was bit. They didn't seem very apologetic and didn't even offer any sort of compensation. It most certainly gave me a special memory that I won't ever forget; unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant one. Edit in response of zoo's facebook response ('We also have multiple signs around the zoo telling you not to put your fingers in cages. If you allow your child to run freely and do whatever he likes it is your own fault.'): And this is a prime example of the attitude of the zoo. My son was right next to me when it happened, not running around freely. The bench was an open invitation to peer into the cage. The cage was where he needed to put his hands to climb up. There wasn't a caution sign anywhere near this purposely placed viewing area. An employee admitted that the prairie dog shouldn't have been able to access the top of the cage. Don't try to chalk this up to negligence of my parenting skills. You should be ashamed of your response.

Ashton Forsythe

Fun for the family

Amanda Subert

It's starting to look run down and the animals are in too small of cages.

Kelly Theobald

The best petting zoo EVER

Hannah H

This zoo is a small town feel where the animal expierences are more up close and personal. The staff was friendly and the park it's self was well maintained. The was a good variety of animals and all appeared to be well taken care of. A great place to spend some time with the family. Will definitely be returning!!

Jayna Stark

Large zoo, many species, however I did not leave with any special memories. The animals cages were small for some, filled with plants and weeds and local fauna eating the food for the resident animals. The attraction I cams for was the budgerigar room where you can have birds eat from your hand. But that became the beginning of my worries as I saw several injured budgies. I took it upon myself to find a staff member and bring one of the injured birds to their office. I love animals and I love coming to zoos to see them but for the first time I was crying for the animals and dident want to finish walking the grounds. There's a lot of things that can be improved, and the issue with that is staff and money.

Ashton Decker

It's nothing extravagant, but they have a lot of different species of animals, so close you can almost touch them; they also have a petting zoo area, food dispensers for certain animals as you walk around ( even for bears! ), and when you initially arrive at the zoo you can ask to purchase bird feeding sticks so you can walk right into the designated bird sanctuary and have the birds flock onto you to eat the bird seed. There is also a wonderful playground for the kids thanks to Rainbow playground products, and don't worry about eats, Appleton is only 11 minutes away, unless you pack your own food like we did. I really like this zoo, I recommend it completely.

Ash K

Should be shut down!

Yer Lee

Tiny Zoo but not too bad.

Jerky Boy

Wonder why all the big animals are in metal cages way too small for an animal their size. It seems like they're not happy. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ever. This is so saddening to see in 2019.

Corey Dukehart

Would not recommend! What I saw was inhuman and animals should not live in small cages as they do at this zoo. Wish something could be done for those poor animals. They deserve better treatment and living conditions!!!

David Mauel

Great experience for kids. You get to hold and pet animals, get closer to big animals than most zoos, and has a great kids playground

memorial555

Tiger, lions and bears among others are kept in small cages. Just a horrible place, and complete waste of money.

Lisa Morella

This zoo is cherished by my family. We love going there and feeding the animals and visiting the petting zoo! The train ride is fun too... And my daughter loves the playground.

Peggy Ricker

Angela Garza

SAD!! Animals here are sick, injured and neglected!!!! Google this place and you will see everything they are doing...just to make money. They are currently being investigated for what they are doing...a couple years ago they were also under fire for ripping baby lion Cubs from there mother, just to use them as pawns in their "zoo" basically...a hell for animals. I hope they get what they deserve and the place finally shuts down for good!!!!!

Ana Eick

The price wasn't bad and the people were very friendly, I am not judging their good intentions but I felt uncomfortable watching those animals in the little cages, they all seem healthy and the cages were mostly clean but some birds didn't have water, the turkey was about to faint from the heat and no shade or water for the poor thing, the bears were in cages so small I was hoping that at the end of the day they had a better place to go to because if that's all the space they have to live, life is pretty miserable for those animals. The large felines such as the lion and the tiger were in cages barely the size of a regular dog kennel. The goats and the otter had better cages, better than the larger animals. Overall experience, it was my birthday and for the rest of the day the memories brought me some sort of sadness. I am sorry if those people have good intentions but not enough resources, I hope you can do better for those animals or let them go to somewhere better, I don't want judge those people because they are the only ones that know what is happening behind the scenes and I hope to see this place improve.

Jacquie klumb

I love animals so much and was very saddened To see tigers, lions, panthers, and bears in such small cages . They need to be able to stretch out and run. They need to be in there normal habitat or a big zoo with room to move . Animals have feelings too. Look at how when you get home and let your dogs out , how happy they are to do a full throttle run around the yard. They Need more Space!

Kim Roberts

Nice for all ages. There's also a unique, interactive bird exhibit and play ground equipment. Employees are awesome and prices are reasonable.

Hannah Brown

can't believe this place.... please do not spend your money at this zoo where they mistreat their animals just so they can make a profit $$$ let these animals go to sanctuaries so they can have a normal life not kept in a small cage with dirty food and water.

Larissa Hakes

Mike Manteufel

Dirty. Undersized enclosures. Worst Zoo I’ve ever been to. I now understand why there are hate groups on Facebook for this place......and I’m not even a tree hugging PETA freak.

Steve Gunderson

Great for kids and adults.

Hannah Gagnon

Stop the abuse!

Katie Giese

Kids love this place for an afternoon adventure

Julia De Los Santos

They have lots of animals to see and a nice petting zoo. I actually was really surprised how much animals they had. I was also surprised to see how active the animals were. I think the best part of this zoo is the petting zoo in my opinion. We got to pet goats, little pigs, baby lynxs, bunnies, and many more. Also they had a little building you could walk into where the birds were flying and you can feed them bird sticks. That was cute! Also the train ride is enjoyable! But...The monkeys like to make eye contact...and kept putting their hands out to us. One started screaming at us, not sure why but it startled me. The lady said maybe the female could smell that some of us girls were on our "monthly time". That was the only strange part to me. Also some cages could be improved a lot.

Amy T.

Worst zoo I have ever been to. Cages were way to small for the animals to live a good life in. Animals pacing back and forth and chewing on the cage wires trying to get out. Dirty water. Dirty cages. Don't go to this zoo. It makes you depressed looking at these animals.

JohnCurrent4

Over priced animals in small cages

I love animals

My 10 year old daughter and I loved it. We had a great time. Truly recommend

I was visiting my family in Wisconsin from Northwest Indiana when we decided to go to the nearest zoo.I knew before I walked in that it's family owned and most likely wouldn't be super glamorous. But when I walked in, it was much more depressing then expected. For starters, all the animals were in oversized bird cages. None of the habitats were even close to the natural habitats of these beautiful creatures. They were all miserable. At the primates section, the monkeys had dirty water, small cages, and their only playthings were a child's playset. Not fit for a monkey. The baboons had untreated black sores on their rears. The ring-tailed lemurs are in small cages when they should be in habitats similar to the forests of Madagascar. The petting zoo animals were the only ones that seemed even remotely happy. Even so, there was a fawn that was miserable and too young to be without its mother. Maybe something happened to its mother but I don't know. Otherwise, the petting zoo was not terrible. The big cats' cages were too small and they had dirty or no water with unnatural habitats. Lions belong in a grassy/rocky terrain to raise a pride. Leopards belong in an area with trees to climb and lounge in. The bears were pacing the entire time. Their pool and habitat was not big enough for one grizzly bear let alone two large bears. Jericho the Giraffe is one of the sweetest animals I've ever met. He was getting his molars when we visited so he was drooling quite a bit. His cage was too small with nothing from his natural habitat. Giraffes also need company. Our train guide was sweet but unnecessarily disturbed resting animals. She woke nocturnal albino racoons and spooked deer for no reason. The wolves are endangered in Wisconsin and need to be in a sanctuary that is safe and takes care of the Timberwolves. These zookeepers love these animals but they need to put these animals in a better zoo. Thesee animals deserve a home as amazing as them.

Dani Andrews

I was pleasantly surprised how many animals were there. You can tell they are loved. The animals seem very affectionate. My son loved the train ride and petting the animals! We love exploring new places!

Matt Feldbruegge

Great Zoo. With wide variety of animals. Your able to see them all up close.

Julie W

Love this hometown zoo.

Eileen Entringer

Very nice family friendly zoo

Stephen Baxter

Really liked seeing and learning about their lovely animals.

Bill Bickel

Great way to get interaction with goats in the petting zoo area. Many large and unique animals for a small town zoo. Worth the money for the family.

Nathan Delzer

The animals where awesome, however their enclosures were to small. I really hope they get more exercise than just sitting around all day in the sun. I know it's a rescue, but come on guy's the animals need more water on hot days! Overall the trip with my family was a fun experience for my kids.

Julia Alberts

Disgusting, inhumane conditions. Large exotic animals live their lives on concrete slabs the size of a bedroom with absolutely no enrichment or room to move around. This zoo should be fined and closed down. If they are meeting the minimum legal standards for animal enclosures then those standards need to change, this is absolutely horrible.

melynda caelwaerts

First year going to this zoo. The staff if educated and very informative. Zoo is clean and very well taken care of. By far my favorite. I enjoy this zoo more than the new zoo.

Lisa Roberts

Loved it great for young children

Tara Joy

Love the zoo and that it is locally owned but the animals in small cages look so sad and miserable the lions and tigers specifically i know finances are probably an issue but please expand your lion and tiger area they need much more room.

Harmony Jourdan

Very nice people that work there and animals are treated well❤

michelle worzalla

This place made me the happiest I've been in awhile. There's a wide variety of animals, and Jericho the giraffe made me laugh a lot. I also loved being able to pet the coati and lynx.

stephen kehoe

A great place to take the kids

John Moyles

It's sad. I've been there before and even though the animals are in tiny cages, I put my own desire to be close to wild animals above the welfare of the animals themselves. The USDA violations are reprehensible though. And this is only what the inspectors saw on an average day. I feel bad for the employees. They work very hard with limited incomes and supplies. At the end of the day, they are trapped as much as the animals that they love, for what would happen should they leave? I cannot, in good conscious, continue to support a FOR PROFIT ANIMAL HOARDER that exploits wildlife and it's customers. Time to SHUT IT DOWN.

Rachel Lillie

Just went for the first time today. Prices were the only thing that I didn't care for personally, but it was a nice place for the kids. The exhibits were neat too!

Bree Brill

I've been going since I was a kid and I'll always love it.

Rachel Draws

Tiny cages, depressed animals, some of the animals had misshapen feet from being kept in wire boxes their whole life. I felt like crying when I left. Hated every minute of it. In the petting zoo they had a baby arctic fox that was in hysteria in his tiny cage. They also had a baby wild cat that they would hit on the head to make it behave. Awful people.

Sam Telin

So much fun

Jenni Catavu

We love the petting zoo here but even my 8 year old made comments about how small the cages are for the animals. :/

Beth Olson

It was ok. Very expensive. And the animals r in very small cages

Melanie Ziegler

I love this place

Autumn Childers

Mary Goulding

This is a wonderful zoo that they are adding animals all the time. it is located in a small community and great for the little kids to get up close.

Kevin Bradley

Dawn Auld

Really amazing for a small zoo. Was completely taken aback at how large and interactive it was once we got inside. I loved the train ride that featured some of the animals found in the wild and the fact that you could feed so many animals and birds. Will be going back for sure.

Michele Stoneman

Had so much fun with the grandkids. Their Giraffe took a special liking to me.

Chelsey Stanford

Says online that their open and they aren’t

ali bruckner

If you like seeing bears sitting in their own waste, and tigers languishing in small, rusty cages, this is the zoo for you.

Nichole McBride

I feel bad for the animals. So many seem unhappy. I wish it was more like a nature reserve and their habitats were more customized. Definitely needs a major remodel!

Courtney S.

If I could give zero stars, I would! This place DOES NOT take care of their animals and the conditions that they are forced to live in are DISGUSTING! To cover up their mistreatment and abuse, they went as far as hanging a sign up for visitors, saying that their tiger on the property, who was obviously injured, was "faking" the leg injury. This place needs to be shut down ASAP and the animals need to be transferred to a refuge, so they can live out the rest of their lives in peace. DO NOT TAKE CHILDREN HERE, you are just teaching them how to abuse and neglect animals.

William Kerr

John Weber

Clean zoo to see many animals up close and personal.

K B

This zoo animal wise is better than the zoo in Oshkosh but I don't get how mokenys are happy living in cages that small. They may be regulation size but if they are then they on the extremely small end. I witnessed several monkeys ramming into the sides, screamming, and jumping side to side. The bears and large cat enclosure were in my eyes way to small and lacked habitat. I am not a fan of zoos and the promotion of captive animals. Even though my son enjoyed himself I probably won't visit again.

Ted Tabbert

We love our little neighborhood zoo! The owners give all they have to our community. They barely make a profit and do this to bless us. We go a couple times every year. Proud of our zoo. Thanks for all you do for us Special Memories Zoo!

Matthew Verhulst

Leah Schommer

So much fun!

Christina

Very friendly and knowledgable

Melissa Huggett

Come for their large petting area. Llamas, alpacas, goats, sheep and baby bunnies are just some of the animals available to pet. Ride the train $3 each. Feed the parakeets by holding sticks with bird seed on them. Don't be surprised if they try to untie your shoes.

Jenwin Creations

rachael mulvey

Just love coming here every single year!! One year we even came home with a new fur baby bunny!! It's just so beautiful there!! I always post my pictures to their facebook page!! My son even got hold and name one of the monkeys that were being hand raised in lobby area. That was so cool!!

Sandra Hazen

You can get close to the animals.

June Rubbert

prices are high but we enjoyed the animals!

Red Justice

Just wish there was a heads up you need coins to feed the animals. Felt so bad that we had to walk by so many.

Kristy Williams

Best zoo hands down. Up close and personal. Awesome petting zoo and playground.

Ryan Jahr

Great experience! Animal pens look like they need to be bigger, some of the animals have a lot of missing hair patches. I feel they need to be loved alittle more. Prices well worth it. Train engineer seems alittle off. Was expecting a train on rails. Over all was great to see this place for the first time.

Sarah Veum

Beautiful place

cheryl Malueg

We really feel sorry for the big cats. They don't have a big enough cages/area for them. Been to other zoos an they have bigger areas for them to at move around in.

Dina Schroeder

I have multiple sclerosis and need my service dog. I had my grandsons but we were turned away at the door. NO SERVICE DOG'S ALLOWED.

Matthew Sheedlo

Overall, good experience. I almost avoided taking my family to this zoo based on previous feedback on Google Reviews... However, I'm glad we went. The animals looked well fed and seemed mostly happy, the staff was kind, and the zoo was moderately clean (not quite as clean and uniform as other major zoos- but understandable as it is a privately owned zoo). With that being said... I'm not an expert on how much living space these animals need- but the living space did seem a tad bit small for some of them (lions, tigers, and even the giraffe). Other animals seemed to have ample space. In summary, I would highly recommend visiting this zoo... especially if you live in the Appleton, Neenah, Menasha area and have kids. My kids had a blast, the animals were very interactive, and the prices were very reasonable.

James Fourtounis

Lisa Mueller

When my granddaughter and I first arrived I gave the lady at the counter my credit card. Since I travel with very little cash so I gave her my card she said oh I’m sorry we don’t take this card and I said well that’s all I have and she said well I’m sorry I can’t help you can’t go in and my granddaughter started to cry (age 4) so her and I proceeded to go out and thankfully I remember that I stuck a $20 bill in my pocket so I used the $20 bill to go in but I thought it was very unprofessional and discourteous of that lady not to say oh that’s not a problem just go in maybe send us the money for your admission I was a little turned off by that and the animals had very little water if any so I’m not sure if I would come back or not so I’m giving this a low rating for the unprofessional customer service and the way I feel the animals were without water

Susan Whitton

Enclosure are too small for the animals.

Jackie Nehls-Feucht

Such an amazing place so close to home. You're right next to the zookeepers and can tell they truly love the animals.

Dana Bloedorn

This is a great zoo. For a personally owned zoo that raises all their animals on their own from birth, I think they do a great job taking care of all the animals. Some cages may be small but the animals are happy and the kids love that you can get right up close to all the animals especially the giraffe! The petting zoo is always the best part and they have an amazing playground for the kids. The owners are great and friendly and always come with plenty of quarters because there are tons of goats and a pig to feed. A fantastic zoo that I will definitely keep coming to!

alexis thull

This zoo should be closed. The smallest cages I Have ever seen. Its more of a sad sight than anything. Please do not go to this zoo!

Jaclyn Nennig

A little pricey but a great zoo

Gordon No 4

Way to small for the animals.

Gannon Thorannos

Amazing time My kids and I love it !! Great kind owners! A must see and the thing to do list!

Brenda Beck

We took our kids to this zoo on a whim and had a wonderful time. Lots to see and do. We will definitely be going back again. The animals are well taken care of and it has a nice family feel. We will be recommending this zoo to our friends and family.

FRANKY FRANCISCO

(Translated by Google) It is a very complete zoo, a variety of animals, the children can play chickens coneñas chivas and the ride in the train for 3 dollars very nice I recommend it widely visitelo (Original) Es un zoologico muy completo mucha variedad de animalitos los ninos los pueden tocar conehos gallinas chivas y el paseo en el tren por 3 dollares muy bonito lo recomiendo ampliamente visitelo

Steve Brown

Amazing Zoo, awesome staff with a variety of animals, reptiles and birds. We go multiple times a year. The petting zoo is also super cool.

Jordan gerner

Cage conditions for the animals always look terrible. Personally I wouldn't go here again.

Michael Boucher

Lions, Tigers, Bears, etc. Has a playgroud in the middle. Went on the train ride twice.

Sarah Park

We visited this zoo a few days ago. What I saw was horrific. All of the animals were living in tiny cages most of them resembled bird cages. All of the animals were depressed and most had no food or water! None of the animals had natural plants or shrubbery in their cages only dirt. The baboons had terrible sores on their butts that looked like huge tumors. This zoo should be shut down! The only “memories” I have from this place are depressing ones! It saddens me to know that those animals live in those conditions.

Melinda Castillo

The place seems to be lacking a little bit of landscaping but the animals are great to watch. Please donate

Jyoti Barot

Nice pet-friendly area. We celebrate my friends 60th birthday with her grand daughters. It was so special experience. We purchased bird feed from the reception area and entered in Room named Parakeet Encounter. Kids love to spend some fun time with rabbit, Lama, Goat, Cow. Zoo staff maintain good hygiene.

Brandon Rizer

Excellent place for the Lil ones. Pricing is plenty fair. My 1 year old loved the train ride.

John Davis

Great place, great people awesome

SplitGaming g

Jennelle Kahler

Wonderful place! The animal pens are ALWAYS clean with fresh water. The cages are all USDA approved and regulated. The negative comments are from people who don't know the science and behavior behind the animals. The animals here are interacted with frequently and well taken care of.

Kayla Lynn

What a wonderful experience. Loads of animals to see, many of which are exotic. The tigers, sloth, giraffe, and the petting enclosure were our absolute favorites. My kids and I didn't want to leave, I highly recommend it!

Stephanie Miller

Love this zoo! Employee behind the counter wasn't the friendliest but the zoo itself is awesome! Small zoo with lots to see! Cages are on the smaller side but the cages were clean and animals were well fed & seemed engaged (other than a few animals) Great playground for kids and feeding the birds is always a family favorite!

Michelle Neal

A great place to take kids

Kathy Colmer

This zoo makes me so sad. The cages are small, the animals are bored and depressed. The bear's cage in particular is no life for a bear. They have signs talking about the various animals. One monkey, living alone in a small cage, had a sign about it's breed, that in the wild it was a very social monkey that lived in groups...and there it sat...alone. It seems like the owner has an unhealthy exotic animal hoarding problem. Please don't visit this zoo.

TERRY Kosloski

It's an awesome place and all my grandchildren have loved it

Susan if

Very nice

Rover K

Great little zoo nothing fancy but a good place to take the kids on the weekends. Cages are on the small side for the larger animals that's about all I don't like about it. Oh almost forgot the gift shop there not great.

Prince St.James

Its a bit small but it's perfect for little kidsor people who prefer less walking distance to view the animals. Plus, It's Privately owned. We love the petting area most.

david bingamon

Animals look to be in good shape. With it being a rescue zoo wish they would have a history about the animals.

A Murphy

Love this place!!!!

Rae Ammerman

Too bad you CANNOT give 0 stars! The people that run this place have absolutely NO business caging big exotic animals! The Lion has a cage just bearly big enough for him to turn around in! Half the animals show signs of distress and neglect! Just because animal laws say it's big enough does NOT mean it's ok! I wonder how the owners would feel if we shoved then into a dog crate and never let them out!

Chris Lacke

Fun time for kids and adults

Rheann Hietpas

Stephanie Bucksa

Best zoo I've ever been too, my boyfriend took me twice and I loved it both times. The second time was way better than the first. We got to hold a baby tiger and pet a baby wolf. Best experience of my life. Definitely worth the drive there

Jordan Wittmer

It’s a really good place to go and spend part of your day great place for family and friends. The staff is really nice and they have so many different animals you don’t get to see around here. It shows just by looking at the animals that they are well fed and taken care of. Overall it’s a great place would definitely go there again!!

Carol Zitzelsberger

The best zoo around clean animals are well cared for well fed and just an awesome place cuz you can see the animals so up close just a wonderful time I come every year for the last 15 years can't say enough good about it!

Chris Micke

From a value standpoint it was expensive, The petting zoo was fairly good, nice employees, but the animals living conditions were to be blunt, depressing. They seem healthy, but they are in the equivalent of oversized steel bar dog kennels. they do not have habitats, and even the larger animals like the Lions had a area that could not have been much larger than a 12 by 12 living space. if I were in charge of inspecting that zoo i would have shut it down a long time ago. and their gift shop is one of the worst things I have ever seen. Most of the stuff appears they went to a garage sale picked up all of their cheep toys, put them behind glass and mark them up 1000%. for instance a "used " out of box 8 inch long diecast pickup truck for $22 that I wouldn't have picked up at a garage sale for more than $1, the whole thing was just sad.

Nice zoo but all the cages are so small. I am not a huge animal welfare person but its sad to see lions in 20x20 cages.

I thought by the outside that it wasn't very fun but once I walked in to the building to pay the lady was very nice and talked to us about the animals and then I walked out with my friends and there was so much to see! It was an amazing place to vist and very nice employees and just a family friendly place!

Fun for the whole family!

Cute with many different animals. Kind owners/staff. Nice little letting zoo. Perfect for smaller kids. Places to play. A little pricey for size, but quality place.

Always a good time at the zoo. I am pretty sure the animals remember us.

Barb Taylor

Love this zoo. The keepers and owner are so informative. Make sure you take the train ride. There are some awesome rare animals in that part of the zoo! It is well worth the extra $3 for the ride.

Derek Fer Real

Cool privately owned zoo, where you can have up close experiences with a bunch of animals. The owners are incredibly nice too!

Expensive for such a small zoo.

Cassie Zoey

Great zoo only thing is a little pricey for size and the fact that u have to pay for train ride to see the rest of the animals in back area of zoo
