Pretty cool place, a little muddy with all the rain, lol. Lots of goats, lots of different animals. Was a little pricey 29 bucks for 2 kids and adult. Nice little shop, ice cream. I would recommend this for everyone that loves zoos.

Amazing place with even better staff. They accept animals that have been taken out of other zoo's do to abuse, they also take in ponies and such that need rehabilitation. That's along with all the exotic animals your never heard of. It's a mom and pops place, family owned. The cages and landscaping could use some improvements, but other then that the expansive variety of animals and the true love that the owners show for them, is really special. I'm going back for sure!!

I want to personally thank Dawn and Jim. Great zoo but more importantly they invited my teenage special needs autistic son to volunteer in the petting zoo this summer. He loves animals so it is a perfect place for him to work. He struggles with large crowds but he is always working with an older person who helps him manage that. They did not have to do this for him. They have a zoo to run and are very busy so I'm sure the last thing they want to do is worry about a special needs teenager interacting with their customers but they did. My son has learned so much this summer and I want to thank both of you with all of my heart. Great zoo, great animals, and even better people. Thank you Jeff O'Brien

The zoo itself isn’t bad. Some enclosures are small but not terrible. Animals seem happy and friendly. But those prices have got to go. Omg. Absolutely terrible. For me and my 2 children was $32. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m sorry but no zoo is worth that. That is my number one complaint. It needs some work.

None of the animals had clean water and all of the animals were in cages that were way too small. It was extremely upsetting and the animals looked unhappy.

This place is GREAT. We went for the first time end of last year. So many animals - Place is clean and the animals are well cared for and really happy The owners are super friendly, they have save so many animals and have given them a home. Planing to take the niece and nephew in a few weeks. Would recommend to everyone.....

This is a terrible zoo. Filthy, not well maintained and the animals seemed stressed. I didn't see clean water or food in any of the cages. The enclosures seemed small and most didn't have adequate shade. I left as soon as I could and will never go back. I felt so bad for the animals.

It's a bigger zoo then it looks. It has a lot of domestic animals like goats, bunnies and chickens. However it also has lions, tigers, bears and more. It has a petting zoo for the kids. It's not the Milwaukee zoo by any means but if you have small kids it's safe and something to do.

Great variety of animals and reasonably priced. Talked with management and they were very nice and friendly. Wide selection of toys and souvenirs. A good number of the animals, however, need upgraded habitats.

Nice friendly place to visit, some of the cages were small for the size of animal that was kept inside, but most of the animals seemed happy, the baby tiger was so adorable and very active. My 17 year old even said he would go back and so would I if we get back to that part of the state again.

First time I visit I really enjoyed as much as my kids, lots of variety of animals to see, too me they all look pretty healthy in comparison to other places. Cages are not the newest ones but everything was pretty nice the walking scenery, a great place to go visit and enjoy the day with the family.

What a unique place. A zoo buried on the woods of Wisconsin. You can get close to the animals and talk with the owners about where they came from, their care, just about anything.

Owner was very nice and polite but my wife and I felt like the animals were kind of stacked on top of eachother in no real order, some animals were caged behind other animals so you couldn't see them close up and didn't really have much natural shade. Lots of the enclosures looked kind of sloppy with uprooted trees and fencing that looked like it could use an update. Wolves and Buffalo had areas where I couldn't tell if there were gone or in an area you couldn't see from the path

I wrote this review to counter the other morons. This place isn't perfect, but it's nowhere near as bad as what the other reviewers are saying. I just took my kids there today. We had a lot of fun. We have been going here at least once a year since 2008.

We had an awesome time! The staff and owners are so nice and friendly. The animals are well taken care of and the owner can tell you a lot about each of the animals there. It was awesome to hear and see the Lions roaring back and forth with each other. Very nicely kept up trails. This would be a great place for schools to take kids to for an educational field trip.

Went here today with 3 preteens that honestly dislike zoo's, but they really enjoyed this trip. We were kinda thrown off with the little goats being kept up against the big cat cages.. they were just freely walking in the enclosure around the enclosure. The goat got so close to one cage, the tiger was licking it through the bars... seemed a bit odd to do. We also saw, what looked like a goat head in one of the big cat enclosures, but the woman told us later it was a deer head.. still, it did look like a goat... so if you're squeamish, might not be for you.

Zoo needs a lot of work. For the price you pay I would not go. I'm not sure how this place passes inspections. Some of the pens are so small, animals look sad, so much broken trees and brush in some pens you can't see animals. Not sure how the lion can even get in his house as small as it is. They do have lots of tigers though.

I was okay with the goats, and deer, and other small animals exhibits but to have tigers and zebras in such small quarters was heart breaking. Also, it wasn't the best kept landscaping.

Fantastic place although first impression of it was oh boy this looks lame. The owner is a very sweet lady just trying to improve the world, she genuinely cares about her animals. Really awesome that they have a liger! This place os way better than special memories or new zoo, loved the baby tiger and the ponies. You can pet almost everything and the exhibits are decently sized. If youve never been here you need to check it out.

Way more animals of different types than I expected at a small zoo. Camels, bears, hyenas, monkeys, tigers, and they just got in a couple lions. Also has a nice gift shop and place to eat with really good pizza and great ice cream. Could use some improvements in the layout and cage set ups and a few more animals in the petting area.

A nice walk through zoo... but I REALLY wish the animals lived in better conditions. As a former zookeeper, these habitats are not up to great standards, with 6 tigers sharing a muddy enclosure. A lot of the enclosures were very, very small and very dirty. We didn’t see any employees out taking care of the animals. I respect what the zoo does by taking abused animals in, but I strongly believe some renovations should be in order. I am not one who walks through zoos and becomes sad about the animals “locked up” but because of these living conditions, I was genuinely concerned. They have goats wandering between enclosures and a black leopard just one chain link fence away from scratching it. Not to mention that it was $24 for two adults to walk around and view all of this.

AMAZING!!! Great for children of all ages! This is one of the most interacting zoos ever! You can feed and pet almost every animal! You can even feed the bears! The animal feed is very cheap and the kids love it. The animals are obviously very well handled and are use to human interaction. A lot bigger than it looks! This is a must visit! Even has a playground for kids and pizza and icecream inside. We will definitely be going back!

My husband and I took our 2 girls (1 and 3) here a few weeks ago and it was a blast! So many different kinds of animals made it educational as well as entertaining. The size was perfect for small kids, we got to see everything without then getting tired or cranky. The building at the front is also awesome, gift shop/restaurant/arcade all in one! And we got to feed a bear! We will definately go back next year!

I accidentally hit the one when I was browsing through. I'm so sorry. I absolutely did not mean to hurt the owners here after taking in my special needs brother and myself when we wanted some experience working with the animals. They treat the workers well, and I'm not sure if others know, but they take in animals (such as horses) that were going to be put down and try to rehabilitate them. It takes a special kind of love and care to take in animals like that. The owners have good hearts.

I love this zoo and seeing all of the different kinds of animals, but the big cats always look so sad. They don't have much shade and are just housed on concrete. There is one monkey all alone on the opposite side of the zoo as the other monkeys that always looks super lonely. The tigers have a lot of friends. So they don't look bored, just hot and uncomfortable. The lion always looks sad, hot, and lonely. Feeding the pigs, donkeys, goats, geese, deer, llamas, rabbits, and the Bears is always really fun.

Staff was pleasant but most cages either weren't labeled or we're labeled improperly. The big cats looked healthy but some of the other animals areas were depressing. The ferret cage was about 10×8 and seemed to be at Max capacity. They must be sponsored by a bakery because there was piles of bread everywhere. The petting zoo was a few cages and then a garage with a few storage containers with rabbits and guinea pigs. I asked the kid who was keeping an eye on the petting zoo why they had a baby chavy in a tiny cage (but you couldn't pet it) instead of the enclosure with the other ones and he didn't know either. It was odd but I'm giving 2 stars because at least the animals did seem well fed.

Great Zoo for kids of all ages! You are able to feed most of the animals along the way. Great way for the kids to get up close and see the animals. Definitely would recommend for anyone to visit.

Only two stars because of the staff, actually just one woman working the front desk (greeting everyone.) The animals and trails were wonderful. The woman working the front counter was beyond rude and annoyed with not only our family, but the woman working for her. It’s really hard to feel good about spending money at an establishment when those working aren’t welcoming ☹️.
