This Zoo is classified in the category of Zoo.
Great atmosphere. Felt like your own exotic backyard with perfectly situated alcoves of animals. Fun play areas for kids. The goats in the petting farm were adorable. We loved seeing the baby giraffes and the baby orangutan.
Absolutely perfect zoo in downtown Greenville. Really nice place to spend time with some amazing animals and educating yourself and your family. Just to see the animals I would suggest at least an hour and a half. Some animals are put away before closing time so middle of day visit would be best, but we enjoyed the quiet at the end of the day. Excited to have finally visited and will be back.
Small but fun zoo. Great for a family outing. Located in Greenville so after the zoo, you can find food or more fun. Great attraction in a great location.
Small zoo that does an amazing job of showing the animals in their natural habitat. It will take you about 1 hours to walk through. The park outside is great too.
Wish there were more animals to see and better parking but I do enjoy the zoo
Waste of a day! A very disappointing zoo! Took the day off to go with my child's class to the zoo. We drove separately so that we could stay after the buses left. Was told that once the kids exited the zoo there would be no re entry without pay. The whole school ate outside and is not being allowed back in.Basically got there at 10am was denied back in at 1200. What a waste of time and money. Will never come here again.
A lot of variance within a species but not a lot of different species of animals. Several of the displays were empty (unused) or closed due to varying reasons. Inexpensive for a zoo. If you take the time to read and educate, one could definitely spend a few hours here.
The Zoo is small you can explore the whole thing in about 2 hours (if you are quick). but i think its a good price only $10.00 for Adults. I believe they are expending. You can bring water inside!
Lovely "little" zoo. Interacted with a couple of employees; very helpful and knowledgeable. I bought a membership so I could use it on my travels at reciprocal zoos.
Nice place it was just so hot that most of the animals were not out or very active
For a small city, the Greenville zoo is great. My 2 year old loved it.
Great zoo for little kids, able to walk through in an hour or so with plenty of sitting benches for grandparents.
We love the zoo! Lots of different animals and friendly staff. Very large play area for kids at the entrance.
It was ok very small enviroment. not very many animals overpriced tickets an food also toys. Columbia zoo is more robust
It's fun but they should get pandas
I know Greenville is not that big of a city and I didn't expect something on the scale of say... Columbia or Atlanta Zoo but Greenville Zoo should be called an Animal Park or something. It's tiny and there's not much to see. It didn't even take an hour to walk through it to every single exhibit. It was well kept/very clean though, and the giraffes were cool to see so close up
Fun place for the whole family. Awesome selection of animals.
I enjoyed the Greenville Zoo. First of all, parking was easy and free and admissions offered a military discount which was nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful and would even stop to explain things if they overheard you pondering or looking at something. The animals were great and looked healthy. It is a small zoo and some of the enclosures seemed undersized and a bit drab. I know funding can be limited and I’m sure the keepers love their animals and do the best with what they have. I saw several enrichment items in various pens, which is good. I hope the locals support the zoo and attend the events so they can upgrade the habitats.
Had a great time taking my toddler and she very much enjoyed seeing the different animals
Great zoo Kids had so much fun Small but nice zoo
Great place to visit with the family that is reasonably priced and easily accessible and a quick trip where you can see many exotic animals and get close.
Great place to spend an afternoon. Feels like a big beautiful park. Not crowded at all and an easy walk from start to finish. Great little gem in the middle of the city.
The kids had tones of fun and the zoo has gotten so much better than when I was a kid.
Nice little zoo. Lots of monkeys and birds and a few bigger animals as well. Very reasonably priced.
Came during the hurricane evacuation. Very cute zoo. I wish the concession stand was a little better.
Let's just say that hosting concerts is not their strongest suit. Just "attempted" to go see St. Paul and the Broken Bones there Saturday night with $100 VIP tickets that promised free drinks and free food. To start with... A. You should never have to stand in line for 25 minutes to get VIP food. B. The line for food and the line for booze should be clear so you don't stand in one thinking that is your only alternative. C. Red or White shouldn't be the wine description at a $100 a head...C'mon lie to me and tart it up a little will you? First off this is a horrible venue for a concert in that there is no seating facing the stage and standing for hours shoulder to shoulder is for kids. Now whoever matched the opening act "Linqua Franqa" with St. Paul and the Broken Bones must have been on a mushroom high? Linqua Franqa is a self described "lunatic lady" hip hop artist who had this Birkenstock crowd blushing with her incessant F Bomb dropping diatribe. If you asked this crowd if they liked "Eminem" they would have said...I like the green ones and the red ones but not the new caramel. In short the venue is not fitting in any way for an act of St. Paul's quality and stature in the music world and perhaps the zoo should stick to lions...tigers and bears as those are far less frightening than attending a concert there.
Pretty small but still a fun way to spend the afternoon. Expect to walk through the entire zoo in around an hour. The red panda and giraffes were my favorite animals.
This was amazing. We loved meeting the new baby giraffe ! I ran like a child to the wide open air non-enclosure!! We enjoyed feeding the goats and petting the blonde bill goat since he really just wanted some loving. They also have a really cool mosaic image of an elephant made up of pictures that local school children made after their trip..just a wonderful, romantic, fun date day..couldn't have been better
Very clean and well kept. Great place to spend a couple hours
It was a very nice small zoo. It was about a mile to see the entire thing and the animals were pretty active on the day we went. The only issue I had, which won’t be a issue forever, is that our GPS could not find the entrance at all due to some construction they have going on. This was easily fixed though because they have signs showing you where to go. Just figured I should mention not to rely on your GPS.
I always love coming here! It was very hot though!
Cute, small, well-kept zoo. Great for a family outing. Definitely catered towards younger children.
This is a small zoo but had a good variety of animals. You were able to see a lot of the animals in their enclosures.
Small family feel. People who work there are always helpful and nice.
My youngest son took his 4-y/o son, and it is a precious memory, as my son passed away at Christmas of 2016.
It was not a good exerience..there were only a handful of animals..don't waste your hard earned dollars..go to Columbia SC... Riverbanks Zoo..a little more money but worth it
Fun zoo, it's very small, you'll finish in about an hour which is perfect for those with small children. I'm not a fan of how most of the main attractions (alligators, tiger, lions) are set up: you're crammed into a small room with several windows, and it's hot (I took this picture from the side as we couldn't even get up to the window). Not a fan!
Small zoo, easily walkable. This is the third zoo we've been to with our toddler, but this is the first one she's been able to walk the entire way through. Animals are limited, no elephants or polar bears or large sea animals. Good way to spend an hour or two.
Cute zoo, there was a lot of exhibits under construction so we couldnt see everything..and its not a very large zoo. But it is perfect for toddlers and babies...pre/teens would be a little bored.
Kids had a great time. Was a fun place to learn about animals.
One of the most well maintained zoos, I've ever visited. The employees are hard working and very cooperative. The zoo is a really nice option for a family outing, children enjoy a lot here. They get to see so many species, all in one place. We always enjoy while we visit the Greenville Zoo.
If you love animals, don't go here. Absolutely disgusting conditions. They are in VERY small cages. They should be shut down. This was the worst zoo experience i ever had. I walked out feeling guilty and heart broken. The first animal we witnessed was an aunt eater where the elephants USED to be (they got in trouble for that a couple years ago and had to move it, and it died) the aunt eater was showing neurotic behavior by just pacing back and forth, hours on end. No to mention a couple more animals exhibiting distress. Very very sad day. This zoo needs to give their animals the proper living conditions or shut down.
This is a really nice zoo! The staff is very friendly and can talk at length about the animals. They are great with kids. I could sit all day and watch the giraffes, orangutan, or the family of guenon. They are endlessly entertaining.
It's a neat place. Kinda small so it takes less than an hour to walk through the whole thing unless you're taking it slow, but it was clean and the animals are beautiful. Plus... baby giraffe!!
Very small zoo. Overwhelming smell of bleach in some areas. Only generic species info for most exhibits. It would be nice to know more about the individual animal. The orangutans for example: are they a mating pair, how old is the baby?
Great place for kids + Family fun. Not that costly for 6 people.Cheaper than a movie tickets.Your kids get to have fresh air and plenty of walking. Plus they have playgrounds with benches. Great day with family!
Our Cub Scout troop spent the night here. Jenny was our guide and her husband Greg was our zookeeper for the evening, and they really outdid themselves. Our pack had the best time. The zoo is well kept and the animal variety is great for a small city zoo. The staff really make the place 5 stars.
Very very small. We almost missed the turn-in. More like the Nature Center in Asheville, NC than what I expect of a zoo. Very few animals. We were most excited about the tri-color squirrel but they never came out of their enclosure to view. We plan to go to NC Zoo in Asheboro. It's AMAZING.
Decent zoo. Saw a lot of animals. Wanted to see the gators, which they had a sign to where they were but saw nothing but giant alligator snapping turtles. Also would have liked to see some chimps. Decent overall.
We received a membership to the zoo for Christmas, and I have been thoroughly impressed! My toddlers have a great time, and there are little perches at almost every exhibit where they can climb up and see the animals, which means I don’t have to hoist them up over and over and over again. Lugging my two around in a double stroller, up those hills, is a sufficient work out!
Great place to bring young kids, while it isn't large it is enough to spend an afternoon or morning and then let the kids play at the large playground out front.
Fun little place to take the family. Not a long walk around the zoo, but the playground makes up for that.
A good morning trip out with the three kiddos. Only three stars because I feel that there needs to be some major maintenance done. One being the restrooms. Their terrible!! The park itself had trash on the walking trails, and along the edges. Other than things needing to be cleaned up it was a fun trip. We did purchase the membership so we will go back.
I have fond memories of visiting the Greenville Zoo from my own childhood and when I became a parent, I made sure that my son and I created fond memories of our many trips together at the Greenville Zoo.
I like the fact that the zoo is clearly engaged in several projects to protect animals. They have different kind of animals too So you will be visiting the continents. Also, there is a kind of ID with informations on species. Very instructive. That said, it is a zoo. It is always sad to know that these animals live in captivity... Nevertheless, I recommand it for families.
I've been to many zoos and this one was definitely in my top 10! It's small but packs a punch!!! VERY reasonable price and perfect for a 2-3 hour morning stroll!!
Very pleasant time there. It is larger than first appears.
Combine with park and zoo.. many area have picnic area... good place for all ages.
Love this zoo! Small enough for you to enjoy without spending an entire day. Go early and you'll get to see them feeding the animals. It's also when the animals are most active.
The price is decent for kids and adults. There is not a ton of animals to see but it's a good day trip for the kids. Some of the areas are under construction so are closed. The best part is not the zoo but the large playground outside the zoo for the kids to play. Its a very large area and its covered so it stays nice and cool for everyone no matter how hot it is.
Cutest small zoo around! This place is so great, especially for small kids. You can cover the whole place pretty thoroughly in 2 hours or spend more time at some exhibits if desired. The new babies were so cute today: giraffe and orangutan. I wish there was some staff around to answer questions but understand that such a small zoo may not have that in the budget.
Very nice casual zoo, it's not the biggest but that's kind of what makes it nice. The animals were very lively and they seemed well taken care of. The park outside of the zoo is really nice as well. Will definitely come back.
It was great to take the kids and the animals were happy moving around and playing
It’s not a big zoo but it’s the perfect size for little kiddos because they get bored so easily. I loved seeing all the animals and my daughter really enjoyed the giraffes
I love this zoo! The animals appear well cared for and the volunteers and staff are friendly, answering questions and showing how much they care for the animals' wellbeing. The Red pandas were extra active and playful on the day we visited. Fun!
We got there at the tail end of the day. Small but a good variety for the price. Next to a park which is also a plus.
A great little zoo! It took my wife and I about an hour and a half to walk through it all. The selection of animals is good. They looked healthy and their habitats appear spacious. For under $10 a person, this is a great way to spend the day.
Great little zoo, awesome playground for the kids.
This was our first time visiting the Greenville zoo. We did purchase the membership so we could go to the zoo unlimited for the next year. This also gives excellent discounts and other zoos. The zoo is very clean and easy to navigate. All the animals appear to be very well taken care of. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff would take time to interact with the guests and answer any questions that they may have. The zoo had some very nice play areas for the children. The zoo is very affordably priced. We will definitely be returning.
It’s an “ok” experience for a nice day out to take the kiddos... but for the money, I’d rather take them to the Children’s Museum, and get a better experience. This zoo has just been losing animals, and not really gaining any new ones to take their places. The cages are a little cramped too, it seems... I know they don’t have much space to work with, but it seems they could do a little better... I don’t know, it seems like a “nice” onetime experience, but as long as we’ve been going for, I wish for something a little different every time to spark my interest again, and nothing...
Its not that big. But still lot to see. Kids love it.
We really liked this zoo, but we feel as if the quantity of animals is going down. There is less to see lately.
Wasn't that impressed with the park. Had a few cool animals, but it was overpriced and not much to look at. I've been to better zoos.
Small but very cute. My kids had a blast and I was not too long of a walk.
Take the time to support this location Greenville is lucky to have this facility.
Cool small zoo. Not all of animals were present. Looking forward to meet a new baby giraffe soon:)
Absolutely love this place! Not too big, but it's very relaxing and a great preservation center for endangered animals.
Awesome little zoo. Stopped on our way through the state took about an hour and a half to get through. Well kept fun staff!
Nice park. Good way to spend a couple hours. Wish there would have been a more personal description on the exhibits - i.e. names and ages of the animals
This place has really gone downhill, the animals looked awful and depressed, the terrariums had green water in them. Cleanliness is falling apart down here. Both in and out of the enclosures.
Please join us for Ostrich Racing, Bear and Alligator Wrestling, and the fully air-conditioned Aquarium and IMax theatre. Sharks, Turtles, And Lasers. And fireworks.
After our flight was cancelled we were looking for local activities. We went to the zoo. It was a small zoo but very clean with enough animals to keep us engaged for a few hours and was fairly cheap to enter. Parking is free but on the weekend it was hard to find a spot
We had a good time here. The price for admission is affordable. It's a cute, small zoo with a decent selection of animals. The animals seem to be taken care of well. They could use more room. The only downfall is that the parking is shared with the neighboring park making it chaotic and even a bit stressful to find a place to park. All in all it was a nice visit.
It's a small zoo but well maintained and clean. The path you follow allows you to see all the animals without having to backtrack. At the end there are 2 really nice playground areas and a covered picnic shelter.
A great small zoo! There are lots of different kinds of animals! We went in the spring and the animals were out enjoying the sunshine so the was plenty to see! I have been in the hot summer months and the animals are a lot more lethargic. I would highly recommend a spring visit.
This zoo is a good size it can be finished in an hour. Great exhibits, loved the giraffes.
Bigger than people say and lots of animals that everyone what's to see I would definitely recommend
Can't say enough good about this place. We get a membership every year, and we frequent the zoo during the summer. The membership also offers free and discounted admission to several zoo's and aquariums nationwide!
Very nice small zoo. You can go through in about an hour or so. All the staff is super friendly.
We love the Greenville Zoo! We have a membership, so we visit often. All of the animals exhibits are well maintained. Very friendly staff! Jose is the best! A great zoo for the size. So many awesome educational events too!
It was a great place to take little kids. Animals are healthy looking with lots of fun facts.
It didn't take long to see everything, but really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a great way for my husband and I to end our Sunday afternoon.
The Lions were incredible, the goats are SUPER friendly and the rest of the animals were great. The Red Panda stole the show along with the baby Orangutan. If you haven't been, definitely come to the Greenville Zoo
It's a small zoo, so there's not many hugely exotic animals there. That's the only reason I gave it three stars. Don't expect a huge zoo with elephants and rhinos, bears etc. For it's size, it's perfect. The price is reasonable for the size, the layout is good. My kids still enjoyed it.
Good for a weekend getaway. You can typically spend about 1-2 hrs. Kids enjoy much.
It was a clean and cute zoo. Way smaller than most but the animals were so active and entertaining. Would not come back multiple times but it was a nice one time experience
Very neat little zoo, I went on a day the alligators and orangutans weren't available due to construction, so that was the only bad in my visit. But it was still pretty cool.
Been here several times and love it. It's a nice half day trip. It's not a huge zoo so it doesn't take real long to get all the way through to see all the animals so it's nice for little kids that don't want to walk when they get only half way through a larger zoo.
Five stars for the nostalgia, but Greenville zoo really needs to upgrade and grow! Where were all the animals?? I love this zoo and always will because I grew up going to this zoo! There needs to be a lot of investments towards the Greenville zoo and I guarantee it will get more popular!
Such a quaint zoo tucked in the heart of the city. Less than $5 (reciprocal admission fee) to enjoy the spaces and animals for a few hours hardly seems enough. I hope they can obtain funding to improve facilities for visitors as it was obvious how well loved they are. New trash and recycling receptacles would be good for them too. If I had the money myself, I'd gladly buy them for the zoo. I will be back and I will be sending in a donation to help further the work you do for the animals and the community (day camp was in session while I was there).
We love the Greenville zoo! Our family donated 3 pygmy goats to the zoo in our sons name. We got to name the goats ourselves and they even put a plaque up with our sons name on it. It was very special for us. Now as our son gets older we can visit and always be reminded of such a rewarding piece of our lives.
Great LITTLE zoo at a great price. You can spend 45 minutes to 2 or more hours and really enjoy it. Check out the leopard pic I posted. Too funny.
Park is great! Not too expensive, is on the smaller side but lots of fun and definitely worth it!
Small Zoo. It was nice and quiet. Good views of the animals.
Nice little zoo but really only good for children.
Giving 5 stars because it is our local Zoo, but it is smaller than others. It’s very well kept, friendly staff, and they do what is necessary to take care of the animals and make the comfortable. Food selection isn’t great; a hot dog is a weenie and a bun, and they have nachos and ice cream. I always pack our lunch and they have multiple places to eat. Large playgrounds for all ages at entrance. Limited parking but it is free.
Great for a short zoo trip. Not very big but we had fun for sure.
It was a pleasure. Kids loved it but wanted to see more animals. Some of the animals were moved due to construction.
Favorite zoo. There is park outsidd of the zoo. Large playground. Trails much more. Nice size zoo. Pleasant staff
This is the best small zoo I've ever visited. They have orangutans, lions, giraffes, red pandas, gators, and much more. The only downside is that it's small. If you're moving fast you can cover all the exhibits in about 20 minutes. If you take your time, it's about an hour. I love this zoo and recommend to anyone, but especially families with children.
The zoo was great! The animals look well taken care of. The grounds are kept clean. Parking was challenging because all the lots around the zoo were full. Even though the line to get in seemed long, it moved along pretty quickly. It was a hot day, but there were many shaded cool breezeway areas throughout the zoo.
Such an adorable little zoo. The Red Pandas are my favorite!
This was such a depressing zoo. All the enclosures were too small, and the animals were clearly distressed. The ocelot was panting and pacing. Even the snake and reptile enclosures were small, the big snakes hardly had room to move. Even though the cost is cheap, I would encourage anyone considering going to not contribute to this poor establishment.
This is a great little zoo! You’d be surprised by the selection of animals. Younger kids do really well here, because the zoo isn’t so enormous that they don’t last the entire time. The Cleveland Park is just outside the zoo as well offering a wonderful playground. Get your kids outside and enjoy this gem in Greenville! Also, this zoo is very wheelchair friendly. We went with a family with two children who are wheelchair-bound. They had a great experience as well! Super important!
Small zoo, but very well kept and some nice displays. Nicely laid out so you see everything without backtracking. A great place for kids as there is a park and picnic tables right beside it.
Always have a great time seeing the animals just always get disappointed that Greenville Zoo is small say in the baby monkey was great I just wish there was more to do there and more to see there. Most of the animals just looks so sad being there but I think Greenville Zoo is doing the best I can with what they got I hope they find the funding they need to make it a better place
Had great time seeing all the animals. The red panda was my favorite. Definitely go back again.
Enjoyment for the entire family. Just wished they'd get all the construction finished...
It was a smaller zoo than some I've been to, but that doesn't mean it wasn't awesome! It felt like just the right size and was very nice.
Good zoo for the kids as it has enough exhibits to be interesting but is not too long.
It's amazing. So many animals located in Downtown Greenville. Great activity for kids and is right next to a park. What is not to love?
I like we have a zoo in Greenville it's not big but its nice to have it.
The bathrooms for the humans were full of cobwebs no soap dust on the vents/fans the baby changing table was disgustingly dirty and broken the rails for the handy cap had dust and cobwebs on them and if our bathrooms look like this for us u can't only imagine the horror condition they maybe living in the animals did not look happy no room to run they looked bored and their toys we're out of date. They should have something new every week to peak their interest.
Small zoo but nice if you have young ones cool for them to see all of the amazing animals they have and its 1 mile to walk so will wear out your kids. Recommand our little guy feel asleep once we got in the car and headed home.
Small zoo but I loved it. Was able to view animal habitats and the animals without pushing or shoving. Staff was very helpful to visitors. Animals very well taken care of and they seemed to like to interact with humans.
Free admission for dad's with their kids on father's day. Next year go and check it out. It's a smaller zoo, but nice to walk around in.
Nice smaller zoo. Cost is less than $10 for an adult. My daughter and I got in for half price since I am a member of Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC. We loved seeing the Red
Small but very well kept.
A great zoo experience! The animals, especially the monkeys and red pandas, were the most active I've ever seen at a zoo. Really cool! It's a fairly small zoo but all of the animals looked well cared for and had spacious enclosures.
Great zoo for young kids. Nice attractions, but it only takes a couple hours to see it all
We love this zoo. Have been going here for years and it never disappoints! Our son is familiar with all the animals and loves the reptiles as well. Makes for a very fun and close day trip. There is a fun park next door and you could easily spend hours walking around the zoo and then playing at the park. It appears they treat all of our animal friends very well and it is always clean every time we’ve gone.
It's very nice for the size it is but it's very sad that you go first thing in the morning and the orangutans weren't out and several other animals because they were feeding and cleaning! I know this needs to be done but you should do it before visitors come because the children come to see all of the animals not some of the animals so it was a little disappointing. And their gift shop had no children size t-shirts they only had infants and adults and very few I would have been more than happy to buy my granddaughter several t-shirts so she can take home some memories she's visiting from Myrtle Beach South Carolina
Nice zoo. Easy loop for your walk and animals were easily visable.
Our zoo is small but really good. There's a interesting variety of animals & knowledgeable staff. It's a pretty zoo too. At the base of the hill next to the zoo is a fabulous playground for all ages!
For a zoo in such a small City comparatively, it is very well done. Kid friendly and eco friendly, you'll find that this place is one of the best zoo experiences you'll ever have. Get the annual membership and go back over and over again.
It was a small but sweet Zoo! I'd not been there in probably 35 years.
Had a good time. Our son loves animals. We live in Myrtle Beach and were visiting my sister, her husband, and my nephew. Love the area but we are beach bums forever! But it is always nice to get away to the Greenville area
I feel like the Greenville Zoo is never talked about. Boy were my wife and I so pleasantly surprised by how friendly and welcoming it was. So well laid out too. The staff in general were great but I have to commend one man in particular. The credit card machine came back up just as we arrived and one employee told us he had been standing outside to let people know it was down. I asked for how long and he said 1-2 hours. He was out there with no shade in the South Carolina summer the entire time, just to save everyone maybe 25 extra steps before the disappointing news. He even went on to insist we wait while he check if it was back up as rumored to be. I felt this man went way above and beyond and wanted others to know. Will certainly be back soon!
Checked out the website before going my daughter was excited to see the alligators. Was disappointed from the time we arrived. We arrived around 4pm, paid (online it said prices included tax that was not true), I then was given a map and showed where the 3 animals are they put up at 430 so we had to go see them first. When we finally got to where the alligators was suppose to be we seen a sign saying they wasn't there due to construction noise and their sensitivity to noise but there was still turtles inside the habitat which was nasty it was multiple dead rats inside the water it stinks real bad in that area. When we got to the farm animals there was no pig. There was a picture of reptile on website it wasn't there either there was also a habitat that was empty. About 10 minutes was left we was about to see the last few animals in the front we missed but was told the area was closed and we had to exit. This zoo honestly should be $5 per person including taxes nothing more or less. Better yet Honestly those animals need to be relocated
It's not a bad little zoo to take little ones to. It's clean and easy to get to. Crowds are usually low compared to other zoos. Don't think it's the Atlanta zoo and your going to see species after species from each continent, they have the basics outside of elephants. Still a cute place to take little ones.
Small and Intimate zoo, in my opinion. Great place for a lazy Saturday or Sunday morning. Membership was the price of two trips so we purchased. Now we can go as often as we want, and not have to worry about price.
Reasonable entry prices. A good environment if you're looking for a family outing that won't take a long time. I will say one of the negatives is the price for concession. The markup is ridiculous for things you could easily bring and save some loot. Good attractions and most animals were out. Would recommend for a family outing, would recommend for people with young children who enjoy animals. Try and stuff em up before you bring the kiddos or it may dampen the majority of the light wallets around here.
Greenville Zoo is awesome! Beautiful animals to see! Animals are cared for and the Zoo is plenty big to enjoy a great afternoon with the family! Good things in Greenville! Thanks - The Music Place
Fun family oriented. 1 mile walk around zoo. Kids play area halfway through zoo. Nice Park right outside of the zoo
A great place for kids and adults to learn and get energy out. It's approximately 1 mile around. With different animals to amaze and amuse most people. They have learning and activities available if you sign up in advance. It's reasonable for approximately 9.50 for adults 15 and under are less than $7. With an interesting souvenir shop and a petting farm animal part at the end.
Kids had a blast! Not too big or too small. Great variety of animals. Nice play area out front of zoo.
Such a beautiful zoo! It's the perfect size with a mix of big animals (giraffes!) And smaller ones. They do a wonderful job of mixing education and conservation. I can imagine that many locals come here often with the kiddos! Family friendly with a good mission. Prices are very reasonable ($10 for adults) and parking is free. It's also next to the Swamp Rabbit trail and a large playground. Would visit again!
It takes about an hour to see all the animals, which is perfect for little kids. They currently have a baby orangutan and baby giraffe.
Small but AMAZING!
Very clean, nicely maintained zoo. Also, very accessible for children. The park next to the zoo is also very nice. Due to the zoo small size, the closed exhibits are more noticeable. All in all, with the visit.
Nice place to visit, but some of the exhibits were close due to construction. They have some play grounds for the small children, you don't have to pay to use them.
Always a great place to take the kids. Free parking and decently priced admission.
A small zoo but has lots of animals very relaxing and a nice set up and flow
I don't hate the zoo at all It a place to go with your family
Small but quaint. Visited with my family from Georgia. The monkey and flamingo areas could stand some beautification. It did look like the zoo was under construction. Not bad for the price. Great day trip for a family on a budget. We may visit again after updates. The zoo is nestled in a park and historic area an like the one here in Atlanta.
A fun place to walk through with children. We thought it's a bit pricey for what's on display. The animals looked well cared for. It took us an hour tops at a leisurely pace.
Great deal. Fun place for kids!
Awesome little zoo! It is small but packed with a variety of animals. My favorites were the red panda's! It also has an awesome playground out front. This is a great place for little ones.
