REVIEWS OF Brick Pond Park IN South Carolina

Jose

Awesome little nature walk to take your significant other before the GreenJackets game.

Jeri Green

I enjoyed the peaceful view and quiet at the pond. It was a perfect place and a perfect day for the memorial for my friend.

longtimelurker

This place is really nice. I hope the trash gets cleaned out of the pond nearest to the construction though. I saw an alligator, crane, and a ton of other wildlife including a bunch of native flora. This place actually motivated me to get in touch with the conservation group here to see what I could do to keep this area clean. People who litter make me so angry.

Anthony Parker

Alligators that big alligator

James Nichols

Awesome ballfield nearby.. site still underconstruction.

Laurie Young

It's a great place to get out and enjoy a little nature. High probability of spotting alligators, birds, turtles and fish.

Anthony Rodriguez

Awesome park. It is truly a hidden gem and an excellent time with the family! I would highly recommend it in addition to the Greenway trail.

Sara Fisher

Nice area, great place to take a walk, take photos, and enjoy nature. The area is very well maintained and very clean. Keep an eye out for alligators though ;-)

Sarah Beal

Brittani Burnside

Love this place with special memories to make when visiting with loved ones

Nrsimha Consbruck

Awesome! We had a little trouble with where Google maps told us to park but we circled around and found it. The park is beautiful and easy to access with gravel trails throughout. We came in the morning and saw a ton of wildlife, the green herons are very easy to miss, they blend in so well. When we finished around 9 the parking lot was full since the greenway trail is right there too.

Jessica Oliveri

Great swampy area in a great location. Look for a variety of birds, fish, mammals and reptiles! The parking garages and new development nearby are unsightly.

It's a rather ugly park honestly doesn't even look like its finished.

This is a nice park but they are building a lot around there. So when the alligators start showing up for sporting events it shouldn't be news.

They are making this park better every season I visit. I don’t live in the area but visit the area once every quarter. Whenever you want to get out for your lunch break, this place offers a great opportunity to be in nature. There are places you can sit and enjoy the nature or you can take the trail for a long walk.

Nice escape from Augusta.

There may be many folks who've lived in the Greater Augusta area for some time or even all their lives that don't know about Brick Pond Park in North Augusta. Just across the 13th Street Bridge and situated below the Municipal Building at 88 Georgia Ave(near SRP Park), Brick Pond Park is a 40 acre restored wetland with multiple amenities including trails, areas for fishing, non-motorized boating and several seating areas for wildlife viewing. There is a diverse and healthy ecosystem here and there are alligators present(keep a safe distance). It's a great spot to visit even during winter months and an amazing example of careful civic planning resulting in a functioning wetland at the edge of downtown North Augusta and just across the river from downtown Augusta.

Sandra Simmons

Great place to exercise as well as far photos.

Tina Blackburn

They have really done a lot with this place. When I was a kid it was a swamp we went fishing in until the snakes got so bad. There are alligators here so be careful with small children and pets near the water.

Matthew Hall

Beautiful park. Well maintained! Alligators are present!!

Ashton Lively

This is an amazing park. No bench seating, everyone has their own chair. Bathrooms are close and the drinks are cold.

D Stoneback

Beautiful park located at the entrance of the new Augusta Green Jackets stadium. Includes plenty of walking trails and sits on the greenway walking trail. Lots of marsh area and open water with an array of wildlife such as gators, cranes, turtles, fish etc. Includes a large Bark Park around 1 acre divided into small and large dogs.

Andy Blades

Great walk through the brick ponds. Lots of wildlife, turtles, birds, water snake & squirrels

Sal Oliveri

Sandy Ferguson

Nice quiet place for a stroll and to spot alligators.

Clara Dodd

Excellent place to visit

Alvin Ledbetter

Right there next to the under-construction Greenjackets Stadium is this lovely little walkable nature area. The ponds are mostly well cared for and have wide graveled paths running between them. There are tons of turtles, a bunch of birds, and the occasional alligator! And if you're up for a longer walk, a a run, or even a bike ride, the Greenway runs right by them.

John Scruggs

Lot of gators and snakes

The Brick Yard Ponds are full of wildlife and swampy flora. It's not a place that feels like paved roads and shopping centers are within walking distance. If you are looking for a quite and peaceful place with lots of nature in the North Augusta area take a trip to the Brick Yard Ponds. Such a beautiful sanctuary. Enjoy a stroll or ride your bike. Wildlife sightings galore! Birds, turtles, alligators, fish. Great place for a photo shoot too. We take all of our visitors to the Brick Ponds. Then stop by The Larder for a drink or an ice

Jonathan Pogge

Very picturesque park. We've had our family photos taken there twice now, and each time there are just so many options for great shots. The park is easy to access, if you know where to go. It's location at the mouth of the Augusta Greenway also makes it great for a stop along an afternoon bike ride, jog, or walk.

Kaieku M

Just a quaint little place to take a still and be close to nature. Nothing spectacular but still exciting

David Erickson

Didn't know what to expect. In general it was quiet nice. Very few people, and not to noisy from the surrounding area. Saw a couple herons, anhingas, turtles, and miscellaneous fish, lots of water lilies and other flowers. Interested in coming back on a cooler, overcast day.

Alexis Bowman

Nice area, really nice place to take a walk, take photos, and enjoy nature. The area is very well maintained and very clean.

Pretty place for a nice walk but there's a lot of construction going on for the new baseball stadium.

Rich B

1 of many reasons I like North Augusta. It is not a very big park but it has walking trails and ponds. The Greeneway also passes thru the park.

C Taylor

It's a really nice relaxing place to unwind your thoughts. They have a trail that you can ride your bike, run or walk. There's places to sit to enjoy the view. You can not feed the wild life if caught there is a hefty fine. If you look around you will definitely see nature at it's calm. Just be cautious of the alligators that may slide by.

Harmony love

This park is literally lit. Me and my hot boyfriend go here whenever we feel like getting some air. Its a great walk and so simple. The vibes of nature is every thing here. Just watch out for the crocodiles. The turtles and birds are so cool you might feel tempted to swim with them.

Zaila Rivera

This is the best place to take a break and enjoy a nice walk close to nature. Great for outdoors professional photography!

Master Joey The Great

It's a great scenic place to get out and go for a walk or take pictures but its sometimes Is a little strict on the park rules and the fishing is limited to only 1 pond.
