We were impressed it's nice to have interaction with the animals the staff was very nice and interacted well with the animals. We had a fun time feed the animals and took the Safari ride. Definitely coming back!

Visited today and I was impressed with the number and diversity of the animals on-site. Staff was very friendly and down to earth. Kids had a great time and really enjoyed the Zoo-Keeper show. Perfect weekend activity for a family or couple. Highly recommend.

Aloha Safari Zoo was actually a pleasant surprise. I love the fact that they give you popcorn to feed the animals as soon as you walk in. They have a vast mixture of different animals and you can even get up close and personal and feed the giraffes for a dollar. This one monkey would catch the popcorn as I threw it his way, so cool to watch that. I think what separates this place from a lot of others is just how close you can get to all the animals, most of them are right there in your face. They also had about three different tigers and a baby tiger. They put the baby tiger up for the day earlier than they close so make sure you get there early enough. We got there at 3pm and we missed it. Also, a bonus for us was that they had a small room dedicated to mothers that want to sit down with their newborns. The room provided just enough shade and with the fan blowing was able to cool off both of them pretty quick. It also had a rocking chair, some small toys to play with, and a changing table. But keep in mind I think there’s only one of these rooms. My advice would be to not bring your newborn to the zoo because of how hot it gets but if you’re like us and have to, they have that room.

Such a wonderful experience for my two year old. He loves animals, so this zoo was the perfect spot. I love that it wasn't too crowded, and that there's enough room to maneuver and be comfortable while interacting with the animals. Definitely recommend!

Tracy

I love this zoo! I have been twice and have loved it each time! The staff is great and you can tell they really care about the animals. The animal interactions are so cool and fun for the kids. If you go, you have to feed the giraffes! I can't wait to go again!

Amanda Auler

For $12 a person and $3 for a bag of feed (popcorn mixed with animal feed) I didn’t mind the total cost of $27 to support this local, backwoods, gem. There were a few things I would have thought to bring on a hot day as there are a lot of unshaded spots. 1. Sunscreen 2. Hats and sunglasses 3. More water! (You can’t refill your water bottles but there is water to purchase at machines) Basically, it was just super hot.

Off the beaten path kinda place. It houses “rescues” and other “undesirables”. My favorite part is how the peacocks just roam around freely.

Great place to see animals and the kids enjoy it

Terry Wilson

During a school field trip, we had the pleasure touring the zoo. While not the most convenient of locations, my son and several classmates had a great experience for a field trip. I would recommend anyone go, just be sure to bring something to eat and drink. Porta potties if you are squeamish. Ideal for a full day! No water parks, electrical carts, or modern zoo walkways. Just a primitive zoo, with tigers, monkeys. giraffe, and a lot of peacocks. Petting zoo.. Safari ride. My compliments to a great staff as well!

Brian Cochran

Suffices for a small zoo. The place entertains my kid. Prices aren’t that bad for the amount you get to see. The giraffe exhibit is exceptional as you get to feed them. Friendly staff, clean for a zoo. Would recommend for families to do something for a couple of hours.

Jim Demarais

My nephew and my niece came to town. We took all the kids to Aloha. The experience was great. Employees were excellent. Was a great day. Thank you Aloha for a great day.

Guillermina Qualls

Comparing when they 1st opened to this year? 2019 looks so depressed , so sad and it feels something is missing. I don't feel like going back again.

Lori Corlis

I thoroughly enjoy my visits to this place. Staff members are super nice. Love feeding the giraffe(a). Great place to take the grandkids. You can spend an hour or all day there.

Brittany S.

Great place to visit with the kids. Many different animals to see!

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. My boyfriend and I purchased a bag of feed upon arrival and had the opportunity to feed some of the animals. We went on a tour ride and got to see a bunch of beautiful animals like a bear, a giraffe, tigers, potbelly pigs, monkeys, a (one week old) zebra and a kangaroo. There was even my favorite animal there, a CAPYBARA! I'm still so amazed by the entire experience. Overall, Aloha Safari Zoo was laid back. The people were nice too which added positively to the experience. I would recommend taking anyone, be it a young kid to spark their curiosity, a couple on a date or even an adult just needing something exciting to do.

Jessie Cookson

Enjoyed it. I had to come back and update my review from the first time I posted. I absolutely love this place and what it does for a local zoo. The only thing that was really upsetting is we went based on the time frames on your website to ride the hayride. We were told when we paid when the next ride would be so we hurried along. When getting in line and waiting a young girl said they decided to change the time to 30 minutes later. Typically that wouldn’t be a big deal but we literally rushed around to be there at that time and additionally had a toddler that was ready to go. We had to skip the ride and just leave and it was really upsetting. Otherwise it was good.

Andrew Prairie

Good place to take kids for the afternoon. It's a small zoo, limited stuff to do. Part of their goal is to save and help abused or neglected animals which I commend them for.

Michele Petty

OMG! This was an awesome experience. My 3 year old had a blast. They're animals that will walk up to you and some you can touch with supervision. I will be going back. It is also a great place for a first date. I'm just saying... it's romantic...just a thought

sherry Ambrose

Had such a good time with my son, his wife and my two beautiful grandkids. The variety of animals let you know you are at a zoo. My two year old grandson actually fed carrot sticks to the giraffe. There were zebras, a white tiger, capuchin monkeys and so much more. It's perfect for this age or any age really. I loved it.

LaTisha Byrd

The weather was awful cold but the staff were awesome. We loved the Safari ride and the animals were happy to interact. It's small and not fancy but the animals seem well loved and cared for. It's a neat off the beaten path kind of place.

More than you would think. Outstanding amount of exotic animals from around the world. A

Richard

A great zoo with the best intentions of rescuing exotic animals and allowing them to have the best life they can! It was very surprising how many animals they have and how close you can get to them. Definitely recommend as a great family trip or date!

Caroline Johnson

Have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff is wonderful and all the animals are so much fun to see. It’s awesome learning about how some of these animals life was like before and to see now how they are living in luxury. Aloha Zoo is fun for all ages. 10/10 recommend!!!!!

Monica E

Diedre Bonar

Wonderful place come out to support what they do!

Teresa Pearce

Such an interesting place. We had a lot of fun. Definitely planning on going back.

Mark Crowe

Excellent fun for a group of kids. Lots of animals.

Breanne Pizarro

We came here on Mother’s Day and it will be one of the most memorable ones yet! It was a little rainy when we first arrived, but staff let us know if the weather became too bad they would welcome us back on them. It turned out to be a beautiful day, but it was nice to know right from the start! This park is amazing, and perfect for people of ALL ages. Easy to get around, friendly animals, well worth the admission. The safari is a MUST! The animals trot/run alongside you and it’s the most majestic thing I’ve seen! We will absolutely be back and I keep telling everyone about this place.

Manuel Pardal

Small place so you get closer to the animals. Great staff!

Melissa Telford

Love this place. Wish they would do a little more research on bearded dragons. They look skinny and don't have the correct lighting. They are not supposed to be housed together either. So sad.

Bahati Pari

Friendly staff, clean animal surrounding. Responsible price.

NC Native! NC2WA

Great interactions with exotic animals that have been saved from a numerous amount of situations. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Marshall Prentice

Friendly staff made the experience wonderful!

Heather Plett

The staff is great and the animals are wonderful. This is a fun place for a few hours of walking and enjoying the scenery. There's a fun selection of monkeys, a few tigers, two giraffes, some llamas, alpacas, lots of goats, tons of peacocks and a few other fun critters. Be aware that this a more rustic zoo overall (porta-potties and the like), but still a great place for family fun.

Amy Cooper

Our first time at the Aloha Zoo and we really enjoyed it! Definitely will go back and recommend to our friends!

Amanda H. Underwood

This was a great place! Not to crowded and small enough to enjoy all of it without overwhelming my toddler and autistic son. Highly recommended

Matthew Philpott

Very open and inviting with the ability to get close and tough very rare animals

Tracy

I love this zoo! I have been twice and have loved it each time! The staff is great and you can tell they really care about the animals. The animal interactions are so cool and fun for the kids. If you go, you have to feed the giraffes! I can't wait to go again!

krs evans

Great time great associates really friendly and excellent tour guides keep it up the good work

Dharmendra kumar

Nice place for a day out with kids. Their safari ride is interesting.

KING-of -GAMES

I loved feeding the goats from my hand! Friendly staff. Was able to pet a giraffe!!!

John Garrison

Its a nice place to visit with the kids or by yourself and i went when it was raining. So im sure its better on a dry day.

rayne southerland

I love the fact that you can feed the animals actually. It's not huge like the NC zoo so you can actually see everything in one trip. I really enjoyed taking my grandkids here.

Aleda Moon

Amazing!! It's a huge property with lots of room for bigger animals to run. Many animals of all types. Loved the giraffes, tigers, wolves, and many other animals..many we have never seen anywhere else. Staff is super friendly. Loved hearing the stories of how and why the animals were rescued. This is so much better than a regular zoo! Definitely worth it to go out of our way to see it on our way back to NY from Myrtle Beach. Great place for a family stop :)

Cale Thyman

Great place to spend a family afternoon. Plenty of animals to see and a very friendly staff

Denise Renee

The kids loved it! It was personally like a dream for me. The animals were so happy and friendly and the workers as well! Felt like animal kingdom on the Safari ride and fills you with happiness and excitement. Oh and giraffe kisses are pretty great!

Bradley Grimm

Amazing little zoo cool animals who are all rescued

ki mc

Animals look sick. Not very many animals. Rude customer service. Safari ride the path needs paving truck almost got stuck. Missing animals. Goats had worms.

T Fer

Wonderful place for family outings. It's not terribly expensive and the children loved feeding the farm animals and giraffe! So did the adults :) we love being able to interact with the camels and other animals. I'm a huge fan of tigers and was beyond thrilled they've rescued and cared for 3 healthy looking tigers. The animals seemed well cared for and the Safari tour was fun and informative. I also love that it doesn't take all day to see all of the zoo, we were able to take our time and enjoy all the animals. I especially love that it is a rescue.

Kerri

Awesome place for family visiting and a day out for the kids. Remember to pack a lunch as no food (sans soda and snacks) are served.

Merry Zadra

Love this zoo rescue, always have a great time here with the kids. So many animals have been rescued, I have been coming here for years. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is due to the price increase over the years. For my family to go it is over 60$, and that’s before the snacks. I understand that they have to support the animals and it’s a rescue. But, what I don’t understand is how the price jumped so much in 2 years... Or why they only honor a military discount once a week? We have tons of veterans in our community, so I don’t understand. But, I guess you only enjoy your freedom on Sunday, so that’s why you only get the discount then? Not sure. If it wasn’t so expensive or they offered a season pass even, I would take my family way more often

Amanda Landis

Such a fun experience for the whole family. My kids love it, feeding stretch is my favorite part.

DontTryMeBopBop

This place is ok if it's a short drive for you (30 minutes or less). We came from Garner which took a little over an hour. I wouldn't do it again. It's a great cause and I love that these people are taking of these animals but it wasn't clean. First of all, only porta potty's. Yuck. The areas where the farm animals were housed were filthy. Filthy! The "safari" ride was very short and most of us could could not hear or understand what the guide was saying. We were constantly asking each other questions even though we were strangers to each other. This is due to the terrible speaker that was being used and the very young guide speaking incredibly fast! I really wanted to love this place! I wanted to love it enough to become a regular. I told several of my mom friends about it but had to quickly follow up with the actual experience so I wouldn't be blamed if they went and had a lousy time. I applaud the effort. But caring for animals is a huge commitment! Either do it right or don't do it at all. And, for heaven's sake, please don't use "we rely strictly on donations" as an excuse. ☹️

Miranda Hatfield

Love this zoo! Profits go towards taking care of so many cool animals ❤️

bhanu prasanth koppolu

Great little place for kids and adults alike. You get to interact with lot of animals on foot or can take the incuded safari tractor ride. Definitely worth the trip/expense.

Davita McLaurin

I had a wonderful time with my family showing my son the different animals and showing him how to feed them with the feed bags. I enjoyed the ride around the park to see the animals we couldn't just walk up to.

Ellen Rogers

Had a great time. I took my 6,8,and 9 year old nephews and niece and they loved it.

Kelly Brucker

Great place to see some of your favorite animals up close! Perfect for families with children!

Pratima Nayak

Amazing safari, loved the concept and how well they care for all the animals!

Ela Avelar

Family friendly and fun for a short afternoon trip. It's small enough for little feet and they have plenty of opportunities to interact with a lot of the animals. It looked small from the outside but it's nicely spaced out to where you don't feel crowded. The safari is included in the admission price and they give you food for the animals on the trip. If you want to but food to feed the farm animals they have bags you can buy at an additional cost. I would only buy one because they are a decent size. If you want to feed the giraffes you have to buy separate food for them too. They have a nice little gift shop as well. The only minor down fall for me was they only have port a potties.

SETH WAGONER

Love this place! My kids love the animals!

Nadja Cruz

Nice place and priced jyst right. My only issue was they have porta-potties

Jasmine R

Very nice animals i feel overall my son had a good time not too sure about the enclosures that they use and it was very very hot out and the lions were very hot some animals looked very bad off but my kids loved it

Nathan Shumate

This is a great alternative to the Zoo in Asheboro. It's a wonderful place for kids too. There are so many animals there you can get up close to and feed.

Dylan Robbins

Neat little zoo i enjoyed it was a rescue and they had rare white and albino animals. Great place for kids and who doesnt want to be kissed by a girafe? Great price its worth visiting asap. Can't wait to go back and visit with my family. It has a safari and great food.

Cindy Self

Amazing zoo. It is much larger than you would think. Owners do a great job so we can enjoy the animals

Frank Yost

Pretty cool place to see some animals you might not see elsewhere.

Tamara Lugo

Cute small family zoo. Good for little ones.

Merry Zadra

Sonya Saunders

The staff is friendly and most of the animals are adorable. Feeding the giraffe was my favorite part. I know the animals have a better life there than some of the situations they came from but it's still hard to see some of them in fences. Overall though it was a good experience.

Bella Rose

I had high hopes, but was disappointed. First off, the animals look malnourished, they are eager to eat as if they're not fed. You don't see any feeding bowls nor water. They keep the baby goats with the adult goats together, and the one's with horns love to attack the baby goats. There's no staff monitoring each animal's enclosure. Another thing, many animals leave their enclosures and you see bad kids chasing them and their parents are fine with that. One thing that really ticked me off, was a lady who had a RED baby carriage had a bag full of bad vegetables, greasy snacks, nuts, even meat and fruits all in baggies in a baby cooler. Why is it okay to bring in food? Do they not have security that checks your bags? She did not have a baby, but a toddler, so she did not need that baby carriage. This encourages EVERYONE to bring outside food and like I said, some things are bad for them. How about donating to the zoo to purchase food? I saw her hand another person a brown lettuce head. Encouraging others to do the same. Saying when her food is going bad she brings it there. Animals don't know the difference. Bring food from home to feed ALL the animals. If she a pro? NOT ALL ANIMAL'S SHARE THE SAME DIET. Some are actually bad for them. I went to the front, the cashier said, "Oh, ok." She couldn't give two rats behinds about that. I found her and took photos of her to post online. She got nasty when another person told her it wasn't right. She had a cooler full of food. I have video of her and even video footage of her hitting the monkey cage when they didn't want to take her food. The poor monkey's looked scared. What's sad is she was encouraging her daughter to do that too. I told two other staff workers, but none of them seemed to care. The older ticket lady with glasses saw us standing there, but never acknowledged us. They don't love what they do, they're there for money. Never coming here again. Aloha Safari Zoo, if you would like to see my video I can send it your email. I believe animal's deserve better love and RESPECT than that. This place is a money hungry scheme, they don't care about the animals. It's no different from a circus, all for entertainment. Horrible, Peta needs to come down here and shut it down. PS: Yes, it's a small cramped farm with all the animals.

kenneth keaton

This place is Amazibg. Great fun for a family trip. The staff there are extremely nice and made me feel very welcomed. I can wait to go back. The animals looked very happy and well taken car of.. thank you aloha zoo for making my Neice birthday you of the best yet.

Shawn Hanrahan

Was a really good zoo, the volunteer workers really care about the animals. Only slight downside is its really small. Was able to get through it in roughly an hour.

Mrs Knope

I absolutely loved this place! We had a phenomenal experience. I brought my two month old and didnt want to risk anything, but when the driver saw I was standing to the side while waiting for my family. He invited me and told me it'd be okay if I wanted to join my family and take her with me, that he would drive really slow. It meant so much that I was able to enjoy that experience with my family. The animals are so well taken care of, it made me so happy. Compared to my theme park in my hometown, the tigers looked a million times better here! They have almost every animal you could think of as well and even some I've never even heard of. I definitely enjoyed the llamas. Everyone is so friendly and the experience was memorable. I highly recommend this place! It's better than any other zoo I've ever been to and I love that the admission costs goes directly to funding the animals. I plan on going again and I'd much rather go here than any other zoo.

Jon-Erik Reynolds

Aloha Zoo is an amazing small zoo around the Sanford area of North Carolina. Little ones have the opportunity to feed goats and other small animals while enjoying the experience of learning about other species on site. The Free safari gives a full view of the pasture area that many of the animals reside in. This place is funded by admission fees only. Definitely a must see!

Debi Hayes

Great place to visit on a day trip. Well worth it to actually see all the animals unlike other locations where you drive all that way and you don't see any animals

TheRealKronos

Pretty good for the price the one food truck "gut Buster's" there was unreal 1 hour wait for 3 quesadillas...

Audrey Ritenour

We had an amazing time today. We were throwing popcorn at at monkeys and they were catching them! It was super clean and all the animals were healthy and chubby lol. It was horribly hot today but it was such fun you really didnt pay attention. Thank you Aloha zoo for a wonderfully good time! God bless all of you for caring so much for all of Gods creature's

hall c5

Nice zoo to visit, some interaction with some animals, a lot of cute baby animals too. Enjoyed being able to see many animals without doing so much walking.

Christina Mason

Great place to experience, the kids had a ton of fun getting to interact with some of the animals, and the staff was wonderful about providing education about the animals along the way. It's a small enough place to not feel exhausted by the end but large enough to keep the little ones busy for a couple hours. The little play area could use a make over, however it wasnt the focus of the location anyway. Bring snacks/water for yourself, plenty of picnic tables in the shade to enjoy!

Angela Wyche

This zoo is better then Ashboro zoo in my own opinion; at least they gave us a show and my grandkids feed the animals. It was an up close and personal experience with the animals.

S.k. K

Beautiful place. I like it better then ashville zoo.

wendy maholic

Nice easy quick place for an afternoon with the kids

joanne lord

Outstanding sanctuary!!! Such a variety and so many animals! Better than zoos knowing these animals were mostly rescued. The Safari tour was a wonderful way to see the whole compound and hear some stories. The zookeeper talk with baby animals was my grandsons favorite!

chris high

Great place to visit! I have been to other zoo's in 2 states... but for your money and experience, Aloha is the best by far! Great staff, animals well cared for. No other zoo allows you up and close like Aloha!!!! Even "Stetch" likes attention...

Debra Jones

We went after Christmas last year and it was amazing

Robert Stokes

I love this place everyone should go by and show love and support a great place to take kids

Beth Jacobs

Great little spot to take the kids. The entire zoo took us about 2 hours with a one year old and 2 year old. The cost is more than reasonable. We had a great time

Vignyan Reddy

Decent zoo with surprisingly big collection of animals. I specifically liked the peacocks everywhere roaming around freely. Some exhibits seemed like they were repurposed from an old house. Overall, it was good. My 2 year old son enjoyed it quite a bit.

Tawni Dixon

Such a fun experience! Very interactive. Clean. We were able to feed most of the animals.

Christopher Wilson

There are all sorts of animals to see and everything is very reasonably priced. Parking is included in the ticket price and even the food to feed the animals is inexpensive. This is a very good place for kids and there is even food, drinks, and snacks on site. You can see arctic wolves, tigers, and even bears here along with hundreds of other animals! Some of the birds are walking around with the guests and that adds a really cool aspect to the trip!

Jael Vazquez

Great for smaller children where a quick trip is perfect. The train ride goes by often so not a long wait. I wished they had baby changing stations as i had to change my twins on a bench. I saw several porta potties but not much else.

steve loomis

My 15 month granddaughter really loves this place! I like the idea that most of the animals are up close and you can feed and pet them. It's nice that the Sanford Walmart donates food every day for the animals. I also like that the animals are all rescues.

Ashlene Williams

Always a delightful experience visiting this Zoo! The animals all seem happy, well care for, respected and loved! Highly recommend everyone visit and support this rescue Zoo :-)

Marilyn Baxter

What a wonderful surprise! So many animals that are easy to get close to. Wonderful photo opportunities, Be sure to buy the food they sell, it's fun to feed the animals!

Molly Roebuck

It's one of the best experiences that I've ever had. You get to feed all of the animals and interact with several of them. I got pictures with several of the animals. The experience with the giraffes was my favorite thing. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience great. I want to go back again.

Gary Tucek

Loved it. Animals were great to watch. They are all rescued so it's all for a good cause. Highly recommend visiting.

Sherri Meck

One of my favorites. Animals are rescues and have much love and now a better life.

Cara Vitadamo

I absolutely loved the Aloha Safari Zoo. My two young boys loved it too because they got to have an interactive and hands-on experience with the animal. I also love that all the animals were rescued. You can really tell that the owners, volunteers and staff love all theanimals. .I highly recommend this zoo

Ashley Rogers

At first I didn't know what to think. But after walking through and seeing the animals and the people that work here, I loved it! All of these animals are rescues with incredible stories. Everyone that works here has a kind heart and a true love for these animals. I will continue to visit and support this zoo!

Susan Ray

I love that most of the animals are rescues or misfits. They do a phenomenal job keeping the living areas clean and entertaining. Staff was friendly and excited to answer questions about the animals. I enjoyed the safari ride . I really liked hand feeding the giraffes. A great family place!

Kayla Andrews

This place is AMAZING. Wonderful people, wonderful food and beautiful animals. I never leave reviews but this topped the charts for my trip to NC this week!

Richard Harrigan

Great rescue zoo close to Ft. Bragg. There are peacocks everywhere and a wide variety of animals.

Carol Addison

Aloha Safari Zoo is a great place. A whole lot of rescued animals being taken care of there.

Jamie Smith

Loved it! Staff is very nice and informative. Not over priced like a lot of zoos. The animals are very friendly and like to eat right out of your hand! I highly recommend visiting for anyone!

The Jamalater

Fun and affordable no matter the age!

Brian McCartney

Awesome. Very close interactive experience with the animals. Who knew Giraffes slobber on you when you feed them. Lol

Ashley Patishnock

The Aloha Zoo is such a wonderful zoo! It’s not too big so it’s perfect if you have small children. My boys love it and my oldest is 5. It’s such a joy to see abandoned and neglected animals taken into a loving zoo where they are given a second chance. These animals are now loved and thriving! We’ve been to a lot of zoos but there is something extra special about the Aloha Zoo! I highly recommend it!

Stacie Collier

The place is alright with quite a few animals but beware of the lady at the front where you pay. Not the friendliest person around. I do think it’s a bit pricey for what it is but still neat to see.

Jensen Dejesus

Awesome place for families to spend time and learn about animals. Good staffing people and friendly, they explain everything you need to know with no problem and happy to do it.

Jezz Sheeley

Absolutely love this place. I'm so happy how big ut has become since they first opened.

sakthi ganesan

This is a family owned zoo with rescued animals. It was interactive and good.

Rayco Kornegay

Not a whole lot to do there. A lot of the exhibits was just plain. It a good place to spend and hour or two tops.. I've paid less and seen more. But it's an okay spot.

Troy Amador

Great experience, very friendly staff. The zoo feels very laid back. The animals look happy and taken care of.

Joe Smith

Was cool to see love having the ride around park

Brittany McAlister

My family and I had the best time here. The facilities are clean. Animals are all wonderful and look well cared for. We went closer to closing time but still was able to see everything. We will for sure be back.

Morgan Silverkill

Amazing rescue zoo. All the animals are either a rescue situation or born at the zoo. Very educational and fun.

Madison Moon

An ever expanding zoo that takes wonderful care of their animals and is an overall amazing expierence for children and adults alike.

Govind Raj

Nice place lot of animals friendly staffs. But proper toilet facilities though it's a permanent zoo they are using temporary toilets it's disgusting

Odi Lozano

You can spend an easy hour at this place. Nice easy trail to tour all the animals. Probably one of the most shredded kangaroos I have seen and I have seen quite a bit. Home boy is massive and will gladly eat the popcorn you throw at him. Kids love it, also a nice park for them to chill at after wards. Price is on the border of being to much for what it is (A farm). Gift shop as well

Kelli Kaspar

2nd visit. If you love baby animals, early Spring is the time to go. Saw baby goats galore as well as baby cows, baby camel, baby lemur, baby giraffe and more!!! Noble place that rescues all types of animals.

John Lowe

Great place for kids spend time with your family great trainers gray animals highly recommended

Shayne Starnes

My four year old absolutely loved this place. I might have to buy a goat for the back yard after visiting Aloha.

Jennifer Fleishman

We loved this place! So many animals from all over the world, very surprising and educational experience. Plus, we loved the fact this is a rescue. This zoo actively rehabilitates animals in need. The atmosphere here was so laid back and family friendly. Very affordable place as well.

Matthew Strampe

I really appreciate the mission of this place! A really nice place to visit. I do wish that there were more labels with the type of animals in the pens with some facts about them.

Claudia Tynes

Really nice place to go we had fun

Carmita Jacobs

A small zoo with LOTS of animals. The entrance fee includes the Safari ride. Although the zoo is small, it has plenty of places to sit and rest. It's well worth the price.

Amanda

I've mentioned coming here a few times to my husband. Specifically to feed Stretch! Today my husband surprised me with a trip to Aloha Safari!! Best $12/person we've spent in a long time. The staff was friendly, and the animals all looked happy and healthy. My husband spotted the giraffes and helped me make a bee line to them to feed. In all my 33 years, this was probably the best moment of my life! The staff was fairly liberal with the carrots, unlike the sad lettuce you get at the NC ZOO...AND, you are allowed to pet the giraffes! I easily could have spent all day there with Milton and Stretch chomping on

Tradairious Spurgeon

Very fun, my children enjoyed the animals and so did I..will be going back very soon!!

KRISTIE JEFFERIES

This place was well worth our 2 hour drive. It has plenty of animals and many you can feed. Staff was very friendly. Loved the tour ride! This was the closet I've ever been to a bear, tiger, porcupine, and peacock! Awesome place! Must visit again! Recommend this place to everyone.

Justin Herbe

The animal interpretive paintings were out of stock.

Ashley Corona

Great keepers. Loads of fun.

Robin Stradford

Fun for the kids it even got bigger. 12 dollars to get in and ride the safari ride and worth every penny.

David Green

It was amazing, the staff was all super friendly and familiar with their animals there. I didn't know that all of the animals there are rescues! Was really surprised how great this place was going to be, but I will be coming back! One thing I liked is you could tell all of these animals were living the life, no stress and wide open living areas, its a relief knowing there are people out there that are trying to help animals!

War Ranger

It is good to see the good work they are doing are doing to care for the animals, big cudos!!

Pat Evans

Very fun for the whole family beautiful animals, the Safari is fun too. Only try to go on a cool day there isn't much shade. Kids loved feeding the giraffe and throwing bread to animals on Safari.

yemerican

Enjoyed being there with the family. it was a very hot day but it was worth it. I do recommend it very much.

Haley Brock

BEAUTIFUL animals are visibly well taken care of and the free safari ride was really enjoyable. Loved feeding the giraffes and monkeys and baby goats!!! Make sure you have cash for giraffe food :) 1$.

Tony Faircloth

It's a wonderful place and deserves support.

Angela McCalister

We had a great time! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds and exhibits were well taken care of. The rescued animals were a pleasure to see. The zoo was not as wheelchair accessible as I had expected. Many areas were filled with soft sand which was a challenge. There was no ramp for the safari tour. Staff provided assistance and metal steps to get on the trailer. I hope that in the near future it will be accessible for people without the ability to walk with assistance up metal stairs. Also, consider paving the entrance as well as other areas with soft sand. This would be a wonderful improvement for the Aloha zoo.

Jennifer Ford

We had a great day with our kids and grandchildren!

Elizabeth Rodriguez

Grandson loved feeding the animals.

Shelly Rodgers

Friendly staff, very helpful will go again when in Fayetteville again

Cynthia Sweger

Fun place to visit. Grandkids enjoyed it.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place!! They had a lot of different animals and it's a more personal interaction than you would get at the zoo in Asheboro. My daughter loved feeding all the animals.

Jessica Summer

Wonderful, intimate animal rescue with amazing staff! Such a neat place and much more hands on than most zoo's. Very reasonably priced outing for anyone! Definitely recommend going!

Tammy Poirier

Overall a good up close experience. For 12 dollars it covers your entrance free and ride around the park. 1.00 food bags are available to feed animals

Nancy Simas

First time visiting the Aloha Safari Zoo. Friendly and knowledgeable staffing. The zoo is quaint, clean and well maintained. The Safari ride allows you to feed the animals as your guide informs you about the animals that you are seeing. Staffing was always near by, through the zoo to answer any questions you may have. Had a great time all around. Will definitely be back again.

RAVEN LECHELLE

Amazing zoo! Very close to my house... only a 40 minute drive. Very small and personal. You get super close to the animals. The best part is playing with the baby tiger and feeding the giraffes. Very great. I def recommend!

daniella clause

Great. I was impress with the variety of animals they housed. The zoo is exceptionally clean. Plenty of areas to sit. All staff available to answer all questions. Tour of the park and feeding the animals was my favorite.

Fuller Family

We had a great time here! We brought a picnic and really enjoyed being able to see the animals while eating. The safari ride was awesome and nice and long. And feeding the giraffe was fun as well.

A fun place to visit. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals, but it was VERY hot. Feeding the giraffes was super fun. Glad we went.

For a smaller, privately owned zoo, it is done up really nice!! They obviously care about the animals.

Kenya Johnson

We had a great time. The zookeepers were great and worked with the tigers.

light skin master

Nice place not gigantic but nice. All animals are rescue animals

Kori G

This place was so amazing, first time coming here and I loved it. Came with a group from work and the animals were so fun to feed and pet. The staff were amazing, they knew every animals name and did all these neat tricks with the monkeys. Loved the giraffes and the tigers. We all had a great time and will definitely come back again.

Jacob Bennett

Aloha Safari Zoo is an amazing little zoo for rescue animals. The animals seem to be very well cared for, and the employees were very nice and willing to answer any questions I asked. My wife and I had a blast.

deepak n

I expected this place like a zoo. But they have very limited animals. Hardly it will take 1 hr to visit this place.

Ferris Zaugg

Great place to see 450 wild animals. Large tigers, bears, snakes, etc. Wild peacocks walking the grounds.

Jennifer Austin

Great chance to get an up-close experience with a variety of animals. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. My kids always have a great time!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Aloha it is absolutely a fantastic place to go to. This is absolutely a fantastic place a must-see. We will be back many many many more times to come. The animals are so happy and well taken care of. It is only $12 to get in on Thursdays only $10 bags of food to feed $3 a piece. You can also feed the Giraffes for $1 a carrot.
