REVIEWS OF Wildlife Images Rehabilitation and Education Center IN Oregon

Rachel Uhl

My 2 year old nephew and I had a great time. Most of the animals we saw were up and active. We saw bears, bob cats, linx, badgers, an otter and many more creatures. Very informative tour.

Windy Alarie

This is a great learning experience for kids. My 3 year old granddaughter loves seeing all the animals.

Renae Guenther

Staff could be more friendly. Our group experience was affected by the off- putting attitudes of the young staff. Customer service is essential. We were also disappointed that there are no longer any tour guides and its self directed.

live my life jones

I love the they are a rehabilitation center

Nathalie Gryba

So interesting for everyone to get to see wildlife conservation! Loved it!

Noelle Bejinez

Absolutely fantastic! Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable; great place to bring friends and family, volenteer, and complete your internship!!! Come see what they have to offer ❤️

Kevin Clock

Great place for everyone. Kids came face to face with cougars and grizzly bears. They take in injured wildlife too. Would recommend to anyone going up I-5

Ramblyn Rose

Great personal tour and visit with the wolves. I had wanted to visit with their cougar but I didn't plan well enough. If you want to see the bears take the 2 o'clock tour. Well worth the visit and a gr8 place for kids to learn about wildlife.

Amy Stedron

Kodi is the coolest bear ever. We had a great time here with my son's class. The docents were friendly and helpful.

William Wolfe

Loved it.

Stephanie Moore

A nice little jont for a nice little family outing

Bill Padilla

Great tours.. Knowledge staff and volunteers

Jessamyn Way

Friendly and conversational staff. Lots of birds to see. Bring good shoes and a lunch.

Erica Fox

Well kept grounds and animals, friendly, helpful people. I was a little disappointed that it was difficult to take good photos of the animals because of the protective fencing of their enclosures, but it was still a nice experience and we had a good time.

Dodgemman PE

A out of the way forest idyll not extremely tourist oriented but all the volunteers, workers and interns seem truly caring and informed about the wildlife species on display here. The wildlife are friendly and beautiful specimens. Well worth time to spend at an educational and rustic retreat.

Sandi Garoutte

Amazing wild life rehab center surviving on private donations and grants. Doing great work, training amazing staff and volunteers... Making wildlife a priority and the world a better place.

Cathy Mergaert

I really appreciate the job they do taking care of wildlife that can't be released back into the wild. Staff is very knowledgeable

Shawndra Peterson

First time back to Wildlife Images since they incorporated self-guided tours. The habitats are awesome..the new structures are awe-inspiring. Even though the tour was self-guided, there was staff available to answer questions and provide anecdotal information about some of the wildlife residents.unfortunately the bears were in tgeir den at the time of outlr visit but my daughter got to see the wolves, which was the purpose for our trip. Wildlife Images is a wonderful, mellow experience...I highly recommend for all ages! Also, the gift shop is super fun and very fair priced!

josh sellers

Well worth the visit!

Sean Curley

Great place for kids ! Very educational and fun.

Don D.

They provide excellent service for our wildlife around us.

Casey Rafter

I am SO glad that we sought out a visit to Wildlife Images! I love animals. I love visiting animals I wouldn't see in Sacramento (home). I always struggle with the thought of what the lives of those animals might be like and how they came to be at the zoo, "sanctuary", reserve, etc etc. The people at Wildlife Images are the good guys. These animals were rescued or injured and are being cared for and rehabilitated by the staff and, if they can't be released to the wild, they become ambassadors for their species to us so we can learn about how Humans impact animals. While there, I saw a bear, a fox, an otter, wolves, a squirrel, several birds of ALL sizes, a cougar, bobcats, and a badger (my first badger sighting!). They're building an additional structure which made me feel great because I now they're getting important funding to expand. We need more places like this to help our animal pals. More than that, if we learn from sanctuaries like this, perhaps we can prevent some of the things that land individual animals in a situation that pulls them from their natural habitats or compromises those habitats. . Some very important lessons can be learned in a single visit. I can't recommend this place enough for any age. Fantastic, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, kind, and friendly crew of folks. Please visit. Please donate. Enjoy the lesson

Sean Bird

A great variety of animals... Even large ones like bears and mountain lions. You need to book your tour ahead, so call at least a day before. I went with a group of 12 and all the kids were enthralled. The tour guide was funny, if a …

Kearn Estes

they do amazing work with rehabilition of animals in a natural setting

Anna Harmon

So cool and educational!

Athena Osborne

We always visit Wildlife Images when we’re in the area. The staff are knowledgeable and obviously care about the animals. Lots of trees throughout and larger enclosures. We highly recommend!

annette roeyer

Staff really helpful and knowledgeable. The bears are HUGE!

Moody Pixels

They help injured animals, would be better if they had 24 hour emergency.

usual suspect

Absolutely a grand experience!!!

Jazmin lee

There wasn't a lot to see, and you could barely see some of the animals, due to too much wired fencing being around their cages. Also the animals that we could see all looked really bored. Maybe they should give them toys or something bigger for them to run around. Like the wolf's, in my opinion should have a way bigger area. They are too confined.

Kuttle Bug S

I love it it is better than wild life Safari!!! I would come here so much if i could, there is very nice employees. Hope we can come more often it is the best and the animals are so cute!! Well all animals are cute

Ree Ryan

Best place I have been ever for wildlife care

Travis Sterner

This is a beautiful place and the people who work here have golden hearts! My 8 year old participated in the Cougar Catering and it was such a wonderful experience.

Adie Klein

Is was Amazing! They had great tour guides, and the animals were adorable. I want say much about the prices in the gift shop but other then that it was awesome!

JACABOOSE

They have a badger that's all I can say, and he's really cute

John Fischer

This place is incredible! We do not support "Zoo's" or aquarium type places because of our love for animals and the disdain for taking creatures out of the wild for human entertainment! That being said! This place does it RIGHT!!! Truly rehabilitation for animals to reintroduce to the wild, they have a few animals that are residents all with very good and beautiful stories. WLI has created a loving fun and educational experience that's truly for the animals!!! A must visit!

Alex Sacks

Passionate and knowledgeable staff make this a wonderful experience. It is definitely a must-see for the area and worth the drive.

Candi Girl

This place is so great!

Robert Slama

nice little place to take the kids and get out for a few hours

Shamell Wolinski

Love the bears.

Shawn Gallagher

Always a fun trip with the family. The staff and animals never fail to impress.

Jaclyn Z

Had a great time, and the Docents were wonderful and very knowledgeable.

Quinn Finnegan

Step into a whole new world of up close and personal animal encounters and education! Beautifully and purposely designed and landscaped to meet the needs of all their animals. Each enclosure is dedicated to the rehabilition and care of each species... Very successful release program. Handicap accessible throughout the facility. They are currently in the process of building a pavilion which will be used in many ways. Great family lifetime experience you won't want to miss!

Jeanne Freel

Wonderful facility that fills a huge need in the southern Oregon area. Took my children when they were young and now taking my grandchildren and one of my son's is working as an intern. This is a working rehabilitation center and not a zoo …

Mark Golvani

Peaceful and enjoyable wildlife rehabilitation.

Joseph Nichols

Wildlife images is pretty cool. They rehab wild animals so there is a chance to see some predators. They seem to be expanding all the time but at the same time it is not very big. It is a interesting picnic spot with interesting creatures.

Shaun Barrentine

They are doing great things for the animals.

Brianna Mccracken

How do you become a volunteer? And how old do you have to be ? Is there any experience needed even to work in the gift shop or with the animals?

Happy Medic

Must do in Grants Pass Oregon. Wildlife Images rescues and rehabilitates animals and they're on display. A cross between a zoo and a vet office we saw a giant Bald Eagle, Alaska Brown Bears and a variety of turtles, large birds, reptiles, cougar, lynx...too many to list. A wonderful place for kids and adults alike. Fair price to get in too. Self guided tour.

Sandra Mewhinney

Been here several times and never tire of visiting this animal rehab.

Tiffany Manger

If you love wildlife, or at least just see many species you don't get to see SUPER close (i.e., a cougar so close the guide has to tell you to back up if the cougar is showing an interest in you), then this is the place for you! It's family friendly, educational, and entertaining!

Missy Bigelow

Great program for rehabilitation and education with those animals that can't be rehabbed. Sadly there were no guides this year.

Jacob Wheeler

Cool little spot to check out some rescue animals. Saw bears, wolves, and some cool birds

bill wolfe

This place is awesome great people and the animals were beautiful.

Lyncho Ruiz

Loving Folks....Beautiful Place

Magdalena Herrera de Leon

Highly recommend, very knowledgeable staff, and they take great care of the animals

John Firmin

Excellent habitat! The staff is knowledgeable as well.

Angela R

Their mission is awesome. Beautiful facility. Not very many animals to see when we went. (Not like a zoo) Enjoyed the tour except it was way to fast pace for my children. Would have liked to stay at each exhibit longer and not walk so quickly to keep up with tour guide. Felt like guide was robotic and not personal, didn't like being asked questions.

Edward Fischer

Have been several times to see the work they do. Always quality care and rehab. Placed in a perfect natural setting with trees, shrubbery and grasses natural to wildlife living. Will come back again when in southern Oregon.

Monique Davidson

Love this place love what they do love it love it love it, had the opportunity to go to an open campus tour and met some of the animal residents there, to name a few...2 kin Kodiak bears..bro and sis who have been there for 28 years!! A wolf, a badger, eagle, owls, a smart Raven, an otter, a badger, a mountain lion!, A white skunk, and more,!! If you are unsure who it what this organization is then you should look them up on there website and see. They are in need of some volunteers, so if that's your thing this is an awesome place to do that, I'm signing up now. Oh and the gift shop is half way cool stuff and half way cool stuff you can buy! It's a go for sure.

Maria Chunn

What a great experience! Can't wait to go back when it's warmer and see more animals. My 6yr old had a blast.

Sara G

Great little attraction full of rescued animals!!

heather makin

I took my grandchildren and had a wonderful day, beautiful fall colors, very nice staff, lots of educational information.I would recommend taking family and friends that are visiting the area

Caleb Murphy

Great for adults and children of all ages. The animals are fun to observe and the staff is fun and knowledgeable. There are day camps during spring and summer for the kids where they will learn, explore and make some friends. I have been many times since I lived right up the road as a child and will definitely go back again. Camp EEK, tomorrow! Mother’s Day is a popular day as well.

Ashley Tenchiera

I loved looking at the animals and getting information on each one.

Miss Rogue

Really great place for animals that are injured or sick. You get guided tours where you can get close to the animals but still safe for both you and the animal. And ofcourse Nubs is a star

Susie Parker

Getting a tour of this place was fun and educational. It was a little hard for my family to push my wheelchair up hills and threw loose gravel areas, but being able to see the bears and mountain lion, badger and river otter so close up was worth it. While waiting for our tour we got to read about and look at the small creatures on display inside the store.

Tawneh Fournier

They do great things for wild life.

Dave Burroughs

Worth a visit!

troy462a

Mikaylah Roggasch

Great activity to do with kids or without. Lots of amazing animals to view.

Ron Woods

Susan Leach

This park is amazing. They take animals in as a refugee and rehabilitation.

George Mount

Go. See the critters. You won't regret it. Well worth the visit.

Laurie Cima

The tour was fun, informative and a very enjoyable experience.

Staci Lee

It was very fun and educational. Would like to do it again sometime.

Ray Kalafsky

A definite place to go and spend 2 plus hours. The staff outside are true animals lovers. They will tell you why these animals have found there way to the facility. Some are injuries while others are from stupid people who decided they are going to try to domesticate a wild animal and then need to get rid of the animal that can no longer survive in the wild. Well worth the $14 adult admission. The money goes to the nonprofit charity.

Nancy Cline

Great place they took in a a baby bird we found that wasn't safe to be left alone.

Larissa DeHart

Nice facility and large variety of animals. The guide was really knowledgeable and fun. It was nice to see that they showed us animals that could not be released to the wild for their own safety and the goal was to rehabilitate and release as much as possible.

Thomas Prislac Jr.

enchanting and educational. My kids loved it! My eldest daughter adores Nubs the badger.

Carol Garner

Wonderful place where native animals are cared for when injured or abandoned

Really awesome place

Gerald del Campo

These people really care about the injured animals. All volunteers, they took in an injured screetch owl I found at the side of the road and cared for it until it could be released where I found him. Amazing folks. Please support them.

Jan Breedon

Wonderful mothers day brunch and walk about. So glad we went. The staff is passionate about their work making the experience so meaningful.

Jennifer May

What they are doing is great, everyone needs to come visit and help support them.

Autumn Bonde

We go every year and every year the guide is always very helpful with any questions we have. It's always fun to see what new animals have come in and how much the old ones have changed. It is very informative and I can't wait until I'm old enough to volunteer! I recomend this place to anyone old or young with a passion for animals or likes to learn new things. This truly is an excellant program.

Life's Good

Grate place to take the family we went there as guests of the Rogue Community Credit Union with the little Rangers my grandson had a blast his first time there. We rented a wagon for $2 perfect idea

Roberta Doster

My grandchildren and I visited Wildlife Images Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 and were enchanted. Our guide, Roy, was kind, patient and very knowledgeable about the critters being cared for at their facility. His love for the animals was …

Kimberly London

We are so lucky to have a place like this.

Judy Bauerle

Tour was great. Thought you should have shone how you rehab the animals.

Rebecca Morrison-Stoney

This wildlife rehab park is tastefully acquainted and an easy stroll. They clearly mark each animal area and provide details about them. Their tour hosts are very knowledgeable and they tell the story about each animal and where they came from and what care they needed and why they haven't been returned to the wild. It is a feel good experience and a worthwhile cause. We saw a bear, a cougar, a bobcat, several wolves, a bald eagle, a golden eagle, a skunk, a possum, a river badger, so many amazing birds, the list goes on.

Maren Fuller

My fav place to go in grants pass. They truly care about animals. In fact I had to bring a baby screech owl in that my cat caught and they took great care of her. Thanks guys!

Olivia Brown

We found a couple baby gray squairrels that lost thier mom in our yard. Thier eyes were still closed they were about 2weeks old. This place takes all Native wild life. They also will take freezer burned meat & any all fruit, vegtables that are good, or are ready for the field. Please Help Donate to them they do Need Us. Go an Visit w/all the animals

Amanda Hall

A fairly cheap family trip is so fun and worth the drive out! All sorts of wild life you can see pretty up close. It was an amazing hour or two learning about the animals and even why those exact animals were there, and how they were rescued. Pretty neat!

Garrett Sean

This place rocks! Keep helping our furry friends!

Cortney Fields

Amazing. Had a great tour guide with amazing patience for a kindergarten class.

Jamie Brandenburg

Had a great time at wildlife images. Our tour guide was very informative and also funny. Was not happy with the fencing around some of the enclosers, made it really hard to see the animals.

joshua loose

Great fun

Madeline Snively

Great place. Will return. Tour guide was knowledgeable. Kids fed the ducks afterwards at the pond. Glad we went! Glad we were able to get into a tour. Only six in our tour. I am guessing it was only because of the fire smoke. Unsure what it would be like without a tour guide. Our guide was great!!!

Cherry Summers

You can see a number of wild-ish animals fairly close-up, rather like a small private zoo, but with an emphasis on local birds ave animals. Our tour guide was quirky but knowledgeable and told us the history of the individual animals we …
