We attended Wagon Trails on a field trip with my sons special needs preschool class. Upon exiting the busses we were immediately rushed over to a safari bus. Our group showed up earlier than they expected us because of a miscommunication, so there was really no need to rush. We sat with another class on the safari wagon and the lady driving had absolutely no business working with children. As i said, these children have special needs... she had no patience with them at all. Our wagon was being bombarded with camels (by bombarded i mean they were chasing us and sticking their heads in to the middle row and taking buckets of food off of 3 year olds). The children were understandably apprehensive and scrambling to get away from the camels. The adults were doing their best, but the driver was snapping at the kids like they should know better than to be afraid. I will not go back to a facility that treats special needs children the way she did.

Lovely way to spend a couple of hours. We loved feeding the animals in the petting zoo area and on the safari. Great experience getting up close to so many creatures, especially the bison. We also enjoyed seeing several regular housecats!

My wife and I found this while looking for something to kill some time while we were in the area. It's cash only but they have an ATM with fees. After paying you're assigned a wagon color and you visit the petting zoo while waiting to be called to board. Once boarded you get your bucket of feed and can refill for $2. Ours lasted most of the trip but we did buy one refill. The animals come right up to the wagon and stick their heads in and under and you can hand feed them. The ostriches are something special at the end but I don't want to ruin the surprise! You have to park at the top of the hill and walk down to the main area then walk back up to the top of the hill to board. So be prepared to walk some.

This is a great place to take kids. The petting zoo is really fun. You hear nothing but laughter and squeals of delight as these herds of massive animals descend on the truck looking for a hand out. They are very gentle (but still be careful!) considering their massive size and you will no doubt end up nose to nose with a steer with 8ft horns. Watch out for one particular camel- he steals food buckets!! Even after the guide warned us - he snatched mine!! This is a pic of an Ostrich that was not buying my story of why I had no food to give him! Lol.

We have been coming here since the first year it opened and my oldest daughter wasn't even a year old. She is now in college and we still take her because we all love it so much. The camels are our favorite..... hilarious! When the ostrich come, hold your buckets tight with both hands.

Loved it! There's not much room to put your stuff on the ride because the animals reach their heads under the benches to eat food you put there. (I would have left my purse and camera bag in the car so I wouldn't have to worry about it.) Also, the animals come up to all sides, but I think the people in the back have the best spot because some of them run after the truck to see if they can still get food (especially the camels-loved them!!!) The animals are all friendly and you can pet all of them, except the zebras and ostriches. However, if you are afraid of being so close, but still want to see the animals, there are benches in the middle where the animals can't reach. Definitely an experience you don't want to miss!

This place has brought so many wonderful memories to my family over the last 15years we have come here . You can feed and pet the animals from a safe wagon. Then walk around and see different animals to feed and pet.Its not expensive at all.. Such a beautiful place to go for 2,3 hours or more..We love it!!

Very clean and friendly staff. I thought it was nice over all. The petting zoo isn't really a petting zoo, you can't go in with the goats or animals that you typically have at a petting zoo you just stick your hand up to the fences. Overall this is a good place to go, just not as good as another place I have been to.

My boyfriend and I went here today, it was wonderful! Everyone was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed the ride, feeding the animals. They all came up to the wagon and the driver explained all the animals. You also get a generous bucket of feed for free and refills are only 2$. They also have a wonderful petting zoo with ice cream cones with feed to take in the petting zoo. There was a tower you can wheel up food to feed goats that were on top. Also in fall they give you free apples to toss to some animals. This park was very clean with employees you can see working and taking care of things. We can't wait to come back again!

We love coming. It's a bit of a haul for us to get here but we try to make it at least once a year and we often try to bring someone new each time - this time it was with the two Chinese exchange students living with us for the school year. The grounds are always well kept and the guides have already been top notch.

Nice , interesting place, kids will like it, I thought it was to expensive, $17 for older kids and adults, $13 for a two year old that was rediculous, porta potty bathrooms, and the lady who was driving the truck on the train was kinda of rude and short tempered.

I only gave them 2 stars cuz the lady that took us to the petting area was amazing. BUT I've been to this place 3 times and this time I went with my 3 yr old autistic sons prek class which was his very first field trip and our driver was horrible and rude! To the point where we won't be returning. Rushed our whole ride and yelled at people and was rude about everything!

A quality site that features a wealth of animals, from small goats and birds to elk and alpacas. The petting area could be larger, for sure, but the sheer amount and variety of animals that are here is pretty amazing for Northeast Ohio. Plenty of space for animals to move around too. Staff were incredibly friendly and the wagon ride was very much worth admission. Would recommend a visit!

We had such a great time! My 21 month old grandson had a fabulous time! The most amazing expressions I've ever seen on him! He didn't know what to think. Every part of the park is very clean. Being used to Northern Virginia prices, I thought it was very reasonable. Under 2 years is free. Adults are $17 (there may be coupons but I didn't have time to search.) You are transported through the park in a safari truck with a direct walkway onto the truck, no steps, everything was ADA friendly. No steps anywhere I can think of - all ramps. Great for grandparents! The animals come right up to the truck for you to give them feed. You can spill it on the floor under the seats - you will get your ankles licked! Or you can hold your hand up high and sprinkle it into their mouths. The driver is very clear on safety behavior. Amazing photos as camels stuck their heads inside to look for more treats! All of the other passengers were so sweet to my grandson as he waived and yelled bye bye as we left each section. I cannot even remember all of the animals we saw! It's amazing how many there are! Loved it and will definitely be back! Special thanks to all of the staff for making it such a great day!!

I and my family have been coming here for 8+ yrs and love it! A wonderful trip for people of all ages! There’s a petting area, and feeding area... best part by far is the safari! Go in open trucks out to feed free-roaming animals which is a blast! The driver does talk about the animals you see, but it can be hard to understand because of the megaphone... but this issue doesn’t detract from the overall experience! Warning: if your not a fan/afraid of animals this part is not for you! The animals go straight up to the truck... and many stick their heads underneath the benchs by your feet... nowhere to escape... this is a must-do for any animal loving family!!!

This is fun for a family, a date, or just an outing with friends. The staff is great, very nice people. There's a small petting zoo, which I enjoy even as an adult. The actual ride is fantastic. You can buy animal feed for decent prices, and the animals come right up to the wagon. There's a great variety of animals to see and directly interact with, and the driver doesn't rush through the experience. The animals have a lot of room to roam and seem healthy and happy which is very nice to see. Overall this was a great time, and I'd recommend for all ages. If you love animals it's definitely worth a visit. Especially for families with kids.

The place was nice and appeared well taken care of, although smaller and with less variety of animals than the walk through at Deer Park in Jamestown, but the ride portion was better because we saw, fed, and touched many animals! We went for a kindergarten field trip and the kids LOVED the safari ride portion of the trip! The animals were very interactive with the students during the ride and came up to us to be fed. They all received a large bucket of feed for the ride, which lasted throughout the entire ride easily. The guide was informative about the animals we were coming upon. Children will love this.
