This Zoo corresponds to the category of Animal park.
My family really enjoyed our visit to this farm. We chose to do the wagon ride and my daughter had so much fun feeding all of the animals! Everyone was very nice and it was absolutely beautiful. It was definitely worth the money.
I went to this park today! I really liked it! Amish people are very nice!
Great place for kids of all ages.
This place is amazing. If you love animals, please visit. The buggy ride is quite an experience if you enjoy really getting up close with animals. The house tour and grounds are also interesting and beautiful. I would recommend coming when they open in the morning to beat the crowds, and take the buggy ride.
Must stop when visiting Amish country. You'll never get closer to so many animals that you only see at the zoo and you getvto feed them
Great place for the whole family! Fun wagon wide with knowledgable drivers. All sorts of animals from bison to pigs to kangaroo.
It was scary at first the elk coming in the car. Then it was amazing, the little deer kept coming up to the car . My daughter did lose her bucket of food due to a buffalo it took it right from her hands. We did get backed up by some longhorn. They were just standing in the middle of the road!
Best place ever. I've been coming here for 6 years and the fun never stops. Best time to go is early morning. The wagon ride is a blast and the animals you get to encounter is well worth it. You can also drive your car through. Just beware the longhorns! They have a lovely bird sanctuary and the peacocks run wild. Don't forget to stop by the main house for fresh cookies and breads. The farm fall festival was today. Hayrides with hay forts built, that you can crawl through. Not to forget the corn pit. Open all year long except for Christmas. Sleigh rides in the winter. Bring cash!
Great place for family and children. Honestly a fun place for any animal lover.
Awesome. EVERYTHING about this place is amazing!!
Lot of animals to feed over a very large, well kept area.
I have been going every year. You can either go in a wagon or your car. I think the wagon is more enjoyable. I would suggest going on a cooler day. The animals aren't as active when it's hot out which is to be expected.
What a great place to spend a day! Lots of family things to do.
Great place to visit in Amish Country.
Came here 10 years ago and it’s still a great experience. Better than the zoo.
Very nice place love it
Very fun. Came with my sons school and everyone had a fantastic time. Lot of animals to see!
Thank you so much for having A great place for families to come enjoy everything wonderful you have at this farm. The wagon ride was so fun and the wagon driver Dan was great he gave us alot of information and some great farm jokes.
My family had the best time at The Farm! We had to wait a little longer for our wagon ride because there were several school groups there, but it was totally worth it. Our wagon driver, Levi, was such a delight and very conversational. The animals were amazing, and they seemed happy, healthy, and content. We can't wait to come back.
Good place to visit with the kids ages 6 and 4 take the wagon ride not the drive thru. Its worth it
Amazing place! We set out to pick pumpkins in their pumpkin patch but were surprised at the fall festival they had! New annual tradition that’s for sure. There are so many awesome animals and the people are so nice and accommodating. It was great to walk around and see what life is like on the farm and be able to see things I have never experienced before. Definitely check this place out! Side note: the baked beans are delicious!
Feeding wild animals up close & personal was amazing
Nice place to see exotic animals the wagon ride to feed and see the animals was great.
This place is a dream getaway. The kids and the parents had an absolute blast. The array of animals eating out of your hand is so exciting. Highly recommend this attraction for any age!
We had a great time here! Lots of things to see and explore! Highly recommend the wagon ride! Very fun and unique experience with friendly staff. Will definitely be going be going back in the future!
This place is a great place to take kids and not expensive.
LOVE THIS PLACE..... THE ANIMALS ARE SO HAPPY HERE..KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
Always a Great time feeding the many different animals. Very Friendly. Great family outing. Accommodates larges groups.
I discovered The Farm by accident! I had taken our children to Rolling Ridge several years ago and thought this was the same place (couldn't remember the name nor the location. Rolling Ridge is no longer in business.) The Farm was even better! Not only do you get to ride in a wagon and feed exotic animals, you are able to walk the beautiful grounds which include even more animals that you can feed if you have leftover animal food from your bucket. I have included pictures from the front porch where you can sit, rock, and enjoy the view. You are also able to walk in a "model" Amish home (bathrooms in the basement), purchase a cool water ($1), and enjoy a cookie that is waiting for you n the kitchen. As another reviewer advised, bring a picnic lunch and plan to enjoy a few leisurely hours. Levi, our driver, answered questions and made the wagon ride even more enjoyable. This is great for a family outing!
Great place to visit, the drive through Amish country is refreshing!!!
My children and I went for the first time this weekend. The staff was super friendly, there was lots of fun activities for my little one, and so much to do and see for everyone.
What a great place to visit. Highly recommended if you are visiting the amish county. We come here every year for my daughter birthday and whenever we have family visiting we usually bring them here. My kids always have a great time.
Love the place. Feeding the animals was lots of fun. This was our second trip.
An awesome place to have fun and a peaceful time. So many animals way better thN the zoo!!!!!!!!!the best
Brilliant spot to spend with family. Must visit for animal lovers. Entry fee is 11 and wagon ride costs an extra 5 bucks. Totally worth it. Wagon ride (pulled by horse) is a 45mins safari tour through the farms where you get chance to feed the animals. you get to drive through the farm as well. Very scenic and beautiful place for weekend getaway.
Great way to spend a couple of hours! Do the wagon ride for sure.
Everyone will like this place fun for all ages
So fun. Check it out, definitely a must if in the area.
We love here!!! You can get close to Amish's life and feed variety of animals. It's so natural. PS: The bread is so good. Don't forget to buy one...haha
It's definitely worth visiting there. Its not expensive either. The place looks like a little Switzerland. The landscape and geography is absolutely stunning. The animals are friendly and the hosts are nice too. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. PS: Bring the camera with you. You can capture beautiful pictures.
Awesome Place for the true nature lovers
Fun, so much to see. Beautiful scenery, so many animals. Not all commercialized, and rates low enough to take the whole family.
Grandson and wife ( grandma) couldn't stop laughing at the llamas and animals.
Our family really enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was so welcoming & nice.
This place is definitely a must whenever you go visit Amish Country
There is so much to do here and it is a great family day. The wagon ride is great. Not too packed.
This place is a must go! It is an amazing experience and very affordable. The people are wonderful and feeding the animals was awesome!! We paid about $16 to feed and take the wagon ride around the farm. It lasted about an hour and all of the animals were extremely friendly. Take a ride and enjoy Amish Country.
Saw some baby lambs. You can tour two Amish homes. There were homemade Amish sugar cookies for you to taste, that were absolutely delicious! You can also walk and see exotic birds and go for a wagon ride around the rest of The Farm.
Fun time... Great location . Be prepared for a bit of walking....
A must with your children or grandchildren. Well with the extra $5 for the wagon ride. It's so cool to feed a giraffe from the wagon!
My husband and I had such a great time here. Love interacting with all the animals. Highly recommend.
This was a amazing place, never been so close to some of these animals while they were eating out of my hand...lot and lots of laughs.. The parking lot is very unorganized but we figured it out...They need more signs to where to park and walk to..
We enjoy visiting the farm, but this visit I really wish our driver would have spoken louder because I never heard him say we were taking off and I nearly fell off of the wagon. My husband and daughter grabbed me so to prevent me from falling off the wagon.
Prices are decent. The people there are nice and quick. Kids love it. This place has never let me or my kids down. We would go daily if could afford it
Very cool attraction in the middle of the Amish country, i highly recommend. We took the drive through to see all kinds of animals andy 1 year old loved it. Just be warned, though they are farm animals they are still very capable and may bite. Just exercise caution and have fun!
One of my favorite gems in Ohio
Great for all ages! Absolutely beautiful and extremely well managed.
Great place for family!
Loved the horse and wagon ride and watching my 76 year old mom and her twin feed the animals
Nice place! Very well kept! Friendly and entertaining for kids and aduts! First time there but not the last!
This was a very exciting day. We got to spend time with our family and see some unbelievable animals. Some I've never seen personally before. The kids liked that you can feed the animals and they would eat out of your hands. It was a great adventure. It was easy to access and see all the animals. I would definitely recommend going to the farm.
An excellent place to bring your kids. There's many animals and they're all very well taken care of and happy. The staff was very nice. Will go again.
We had so much fun! I'd definitely recommend paying the extra couple dollars to do the wagon ride, it was so great! Plus, they have lots of area to walk to see other animals and birds. Very friendly staff. All the animals seemed happy and healthy, we will definitely come again!
Have visited this establishment several times since moving to the area. Every visit has been extremely enjoyable, the people who run The Farm are very friendly and welcoming. Wagon ride is worth every penny!!
Really nice place. Love it here!
Very fun and educational place to take kids. The wagon ride is definitely worth the extra money. All the animals appeared well taken care of.
We loved it so much 3 years ago, we came back again! We had a group of over 30 people, and split our group to go on the wagon tour of the animals in the woods area. We all enjoyed the fresh cookies in the farm house afterwards as well as seeing all the other animals on the walking trail.
Awesome experience! We brought our international guests, who had a blast.
So very welcome we had 2 elderly ladies one in a wheelchair the people were so kind and helpful we wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience
My grandson loves this place we go all the time we have so much fun everytime we go there
We love it here and have been going for almost a decade. A nice, laid back, stroll at your own place open-farm concept. It has changed a bit since it's become so popular. They schedule a lot of large events for holidays and such - these events are often packed! If you are going for the animal interaction, those activity days aren't the days to do that. It's a working farm, very well maintained, and a beautiful place.
Wow! What an unexpected surprise to see a farm/zoo in the middle of Amish Country. I loved being able to drive our truck through the farm and feed the animals. It was the best time to visit because many of the baby animals were up, out and about. My favorite was the mama pig with her piglets and the giraffes with the curious baby giraffes. Tons of animals and lots to enjoy. All the animals look happy and healthy! You have the opportunity to take your car or the farm wagon.
Great place to take our granddaughter, she had a wonderful experience and didn't want to leave.
My family visit here on June 25th. We really enjoyed feeding all the animals and seeing the Exotic ones. We got there early so the animals were hungry and eager to greet us when the wagons entered into the enclosure. The children had the best time ever!
Great place for outdoor activity. We spend half day there kids really liked it
Fall is the perfect time to visit!! The wagon ride to feed the animals was so much fun!! You haven't lived till you have had a hand covered in cow slobber
This is our 4th year for the fall festival we love this place my daughter love learning new things each year we go. Its well worth the drive to and from and the memories that cone with us. Thank you to the people that help and own the property. It really is a amazing place and we will be there for the next years fall festival.
Awesome place to see these magnificent animals up close. Feeding these gentle giants is so much fun. Only thing I noticed is I didn't see any water sources and 2 big animals were standing in a dry creek. And these are mostly warm weather animals where do they go in the winter? We definitely will come back when the food festivities are up and running and will bring the grandkids.
A fun place for the family. Lots of wonderful animals there. All animals seem to be taken very well care of.
My husband and I had a wonderful time feeding the animals on the tractor ride tour. There were many out of town visitors also. The guide was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this to anyone!!!
Best place ever! Kids old and young had great time. Pay extra for wagon ride. Well worth it!
Our group of adults/seniors had a great time on the wagon tour. We fed, buffalo, ostrich, llamas, water buffalo, giraffe and many other animals. The driver stops the wagon periodically and the animals come right up to be fed. The rest of the farm has lots of smaller animals and beautiful flowers too. Loved it!
It was the best part to the day LOVED IT
It is so interesting that was very good very much fun we had all
We always enjoy our trips to Walnut creek farm, the kids always have a great time and it's such a friendly atmosphere.
The carriage ride was awesome seeing and feeding all the exotic animals!
Great fun and learning experience! Also they have really good free cookies.
Great place for the family. The drive through was fun and the cows at the end were really hungry. Was hard pushing a wheelchair through but it can be done.
We took our granddaughters and they loved
So much fun
A beautiful farm with all the living treasure and visual treat ! Watching and feeding the domestic animals here gives a life time experirnce and hapiness to the soul:)
Nice variety of animals in wide open area. Everybody was extremely friendly.
Loved it! My 2 daughters and my grand daughter visited had so much fun we lost track of time!
This place is amazing!! Very beautiful scenery and walkways. The animals that are fenced have very well take care of areas. And for the love of your vehicle, take the wagon ride and dont drive it to see the animals. The four of us are adults and had a great time but the younger kids on the ride loved feeding the animals. And dont forget your homemade cookie!!
What a great time my husband and I had here. First, it is a beautiful ride through the countryside. We rode there by motorcycle and enjoyed the twists, turns and hills. Then you arrive to see this immaculately manicured huge farm. The animals have an absolute sanctuary here and are so healthy and cared for. Getting to feed these animals face to face is an amazing experience. All of the personnel were helpful and genuinely kind. When you have soaked up your fill of wildlife, there are a number of Amish restaurants close by sure to please!
Amazing environment for the entire family. The staff makes sure that you are very well informed about all of the animals and how to feed them and it is just a peaceful setting to walk through and see the animals after the wagon ride( or car ride, depending on how you choose to do the tour). Lots of activities for the kids to enjoy!!
We always love going to the farm!!
Visited the Farm at Walnut Creek on 9/3/18. Good place to take the kids. You can drive your own vehicle or take a buggy ride on a tour of the Farm. Take the buggy ride if you have kids. They can feed the animals and they eat right from your hand! Really cool experience. Lots of exotic animals you wouldn't expect to see in Amish country. The landscaping is amazing and the houses are beautiful. A must see in Amish country.
Fun and educational place. I have been here many times. I took my 3 yr. old grandson this time, he loved it. The wagon ride is a must do item.
Took our grandson to the farm on October 14 . We enjoyed the animals and the wagon ride. Fed the animals from the wagon. Then had ice cream and cookies.
Great place to see animals personal & up close
Enjoyed the tour. Our wagon driver, Sam, had an answer for all the questions that had been asked about the animals, told information about each animal. He and other staff were friendly. Beautiful land to see.
The wagon ride was great. Loved feeding the animals
PERFECT for a family day out!
So much fun and we loved feeding the animals
It's a awesome place to feed all of the animals!!
Fun, family friendly and an absolute blast! It was educational and colorful. Definitely a unique way to experience a bunch of unusual farm animals! It was so fun to feed all the animals. There were giraffes there! Riding in the horse drawn wagon is a fun way to get up close and personal with ostriches, bison, lamas, and a few more I can't spell! Go with the whole family!
It was fun good for the kids
Great place to take the kids. Cows at the end were a little pushy
This place is amazing! Spent 4 hours there wish we had more time. I feel like we didnt get to see everything will definitely be back!
My favorite place ever..love the animals and the people are so nice
Awesome, BUT WAY OVER PRICED, and on a hot summer day, more than half of the animals are hiding to stay cool. Wait till a cloudy day. Hershbergers farm just as good and free.
This place is pretty cool. Sadly we went mid day while the animals apparently don't come out to eat...so we didn't get to see too many of the animals
A very welcoming and interactive farm experience.
Nice place to visit kids will enjoy alot
So much fun and I loved being able to walk the large property to see the other animals and the home.
Had an exciting time saw lots of animals staff are very professional
Awesome place to go for an evening. Tons of things to do and great people.
Had a wonderful day at The Farm, great people and beautiful animals!
Great place for the family. Everyone from the kids to the grandparents enjoyed their time here.
The Farm At Walnut Creek is a great place to take kids who enjoy being able to see wildlife up close! The wagon is very enjoyable but could frighten younger kids. The animals are all very gentle and enjoy being fed! Someone directs horses and guides you as you sit in the wagon. There is also an option to drive your car through but you get to see less. In the house they have free homemade cookies which are always amazing! I have gone three times and each experience has been worth it!
This place is wild, you take a cart ride and feed wild animals.
The Farm at Walnut Creek is a beautiful exotic animal park. The animals roam over spacious grounds with plenty of shade, fresh water, and room for natural movement. The tremendous variety of animals captures the imagination and sense of wonder. Hand feeding them from the wagon is a special treat. The farm is owned and operated by an Amish family. Visitors get an up close experience with the conservative culture that shuns modern technology while touring the farm. The owner’s respect for all of creation is obvious. The animals are well cared for and beauty and quality are clearly highly valued. The landscaping nearly rivals a public garden with the variety of tress and plants.
Amazing we enjoyed feeding the animals. Wow animals so frindly we drove around by our car cheaper than the wagen no different really the whole park amazing at grandpa's house we had free home made cookies so yummy amazing house and garden.clean restrooms very clean . Amish are very nice and kind people if you respect them and respect who they are so frindly i really loved them. Great animals there as i said too .it is pricy i spend 50$ on 4 of us but was amazing experience love love love
Awesome place. Beautiful experience
The kids loved feeding the animals and seeing them all run around. The food was good at their little restaurant but only 1 gluten free option. I think we'd take them again but probably not for a couple years. But there was a corn kernel pit and a giant hay maze that the kids thought were amazing. They didn't want to leave!
My wife and I took our two daughters 12 and 17. We all had a wonderful time. Good wholesome family fun. The girls are already asking to go back!
Incredible opportunity to experience God's amazing creatures up close. All of the animals we encountered were gentle. Our tour guide, Fanny, was personable and knowledgeable. My only advice is that there should be a sign at the main house letting you know it's okay to go upstairs to the main floor. We were unsure until we heard others talking about it.
My grandson who is 3, really enjoyed riding in the wagon and seeing the animals!
The Farm at Walnut Creek is so much fun. I highly recommend the wagon ride to feed the amazing variety of animals. It is not expensive and we'll worth the cost. You can tour the houses, see animals in the barns and fields and get a homemade cookie. When visiting the Amish Country this is a real treat.
Very enjoyable! Kids loved it!
This was a very nice place to take the kids and let them be close to the animals it was a lot of fun and educational you can even feed the animals
It's a nice place. We were disappointed there are so many wagons the animals don't even bother coming up to them anymore.
Fantastic place! We really enjoyed the wagon ride. The animals were out and was wanting their grain. So we got to feed pretty much everything.
A truly unique experience. Reasonably priced. The scenery is amazing as you ride through the country side feeding the animals.
Great place! You may shy a little from the price of admission, but it's completely worth it! Pay the extra and get the bucket of feed!
It's a great place for the whole family
Wonderful 1st time experience, did the wagon ride and fed the animals! All animals were "tame" didn't bite and the llamas didn't spit ! Animal feed was included in the price. I wish my group had toured the rest of the farm and not gone to lunch after the wagon ride. We were tired and pressed for time for our drive home to go back and visit the rest. Will go back again! Thank you Wagon driver it was a pleasure being your passenger. Btw I did give the man a tip and you can too. I thought the Amish owned the farm but are hired caretakers (employees) .
So much fun for the whole family. We all thought it was better than the Wilds!
This was our 3rd or 4th trip here. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful. The animal ride is always super fun. If you go, you have to be ready for an easy relaxing day of strolling around. Everything is pretty spread out. Not a great place for someone who has a hard time walking. There are only two restrooms on the property so when little kids have to go, you have to walk a long way to get there. I feel like the price is very reasonable. Wear sunscreen on a sunny day! A few different picnic locations, so bring a sack lunch!
So fun. Enjoyed feeding the animals
I always love going to the farm. Kids had a blast riding the wagon to see all the animals playing in the corn and petting bunnies. I love the scavenger hunt and the smell of fresh baked bread. The people are friendly and kind. I cant say enough good things about The Farm.
Took our grandkids- we all had a lot of fun! They loved feeding the animals
Great place to visit with friendly staff
The farm is good place to explore the Amish culture and keeps the kids engaged as well. The farm is well spread woods and we'll maintained. The best part is petting/feeding of animals while on your own velhicles and even through horse wagons. We enjoyed a good picnic as well took couple of times both in car and wagon to feed the animals. 4 varieties of deers, 2 varieties of Ilma, Yaks, Bulls, Giraffes, Rams... The Mackaw are good attraction and varieties of birds.
This place is so much fun. There is so much to do for all ages. There is a giant hay castle with tunnels for the kids to climb on, a corn pit (kind of like a sandbox), Pumpkin Slinging, hay ride around the farm to feed the animals some of which are giraffes, sheep shearing, sorghum making, lots of food too!
Great little adventure in the middle of the rolling hills of rural Ohio. Worthwhile trip very very reasonable...drive your own car or take the Hay Ride.
Kids loved it . Amazing views and great experience
A nice drive through farm where you can feed the animals. My husband and I really enjoyed it!
**** Animal abuse, neglect and torment..............is that not correct?? ........Not a very "Christian" thing to do to innocent animals....... don't you think?............Well, the "Amish" people are not as "kind" and "good", as the rest of the world believes they are, nor is "Joeseph Varga"...who should lose his veterinary license for abuse..............injecting animals with "paralyzing" drugs. .......No food , water, or veterinarian care for these animals, at the least?? .......Violations of the "Federal animal welfare act". ......Stay way from these "criminals" who own and manage this hideous "roadside zoo" that torments innocent animals.
Wagon rides are expensive. Had a good experience overall.
Variety of animals always loved wagon rides through a animal park
The farm is a amazing. We had so much fun feeding the animals. We almost went back through again. The farm is very clean and well maintained. I did get a little freaked out when a one ton bull stuck his head through the car window. He ended up being very gentle.
We really enjoyed this. The animals were so fun to feed and pet. We took the wagon ride. They give you lots of food to feed the animals. We then took the car route on our own. I saw one of the deer having a baby. The grounds are very well maintained. We enjoyed walking around and through the bridge.
This is my 3rd visit. Really neat place! They decorate here so lovely. Lots of things to do. Pumpkin throws, wagon ride (you can feed animals) and hay maze for kids. Each pumpkin is $1 for pumpkin throw. I recommend getting the same size pumpkins for throwing. You need two people to pull on the slingshot to throw your pumpkin. If you manage to knock off a pumpkin sitting on the milk can on the pond you can get a ticket for free entrance next year. The wagon ride has grain buckets where you can feed animals such as cows, deer, goats, ostriches, giraffes and more. (Not Zebras, they bite!) My best advice for feeding cows and bulls is to grab a handful and dump the food into their mouths. They do have large tongues and are very slobbery! (And will slobber the bucket as I found out) There is a purell station at the end of the wagon ride. (You can use your car to drive a different path around the animals instead of the wagon ride but I don't recommend it.) There are sometimes cats wondering around. There are lots of variety of birds in cages. There are stands with pictures that give information for the exotic animals like quick facts and where they are from. They have outdoor toilets but up the hill in a house they have inside restrooms. In one of the houses has a free cookie sample as well. (Warning, my Dad thinks he tastes peanut butter in the cookie so be sure to ask if you have peanut allergy) Food is available on weekends only. They have stuff like bake beans, hot dogs, chicken, etc Not much but tasty. Lastly for covered bridge enthusiasts I believe there are two covered bridges here. I had a wonderful time with my parents here.
Interesting look at an Amish farm with plenty of animals to see and feed. Enjoyed viewing the insides of their amish home, seeing them canning items for the winter. Very friendly people.
We love coming to the Farm every year.
An awesome time for the whole family.
