REVIEWS OF Tiger World IN North Carolina

Don Young

Wonderful place for the family. You'll never get closer to the big cats without getting eaten. Take your time and enjoy all of the animals. Well worth the time and the drive.

Donald Williams

Took my wife and her parents there. It was an enjoyable time to spend with them to experience exotic animals and reptiles. Very inexpensive considering how close you are able to get to the animals without being in any danger. Everyone should try to donate some money to this place so the animals can have a home to live their lives peacefully. Skip one expensive meal out and donate that money to this place. It is just the right thing to do. Go and visit Tiger World and see the beautiful exotic animals for yourself.

Sarra Bowen

It was awesome! Up close and personal with wildlife in a peaceful atmosphere. Feels like you're in the jungle.

gehry wiesner

Nice place but could be alot cleaner. Price a bit much but you are paying to see endangered animals.

Kate Wyatt

Amazing place! Extremely happy animals and keepers! It’s so amazing to see the relationship that have been built!

Buck Hiltebeitel

Large variety of species, well marked. Nice grounds and gift shop.

colin johnson

Really a great place! Kids love it.

Cesar Delapaz

Great place, would highly recommend selling bottled water or having cups inside for the only water fountain there, my family had a great time there other than being thirsty at the end.

FNU LNU

Good for the family. Not so spread out that you'll spend the day there and you get much closer than you will at the state zoo.

Ansha Abdul

Nice place to see tigers and lions up close

Lisa c

Nice sanctuary for the big kitties and other animals! I only wish they had more space to run around and play, but I know funding is customer-sourced and quite limited.

Jamielee

Great place to take your family. This place is small but very nice. I brought a nice picnic and sat under a shaded area. They have several peacocks and other birds on the loose in the park. Very nice

Jojan Paul

See the big cats so close here. Nice place, best time to visit when it opens these days. You can bring food from outside, no restaurants here. Bring your family and spend a half day. Children will enjoy the most.

Adam

It was very interesting place and you can't beat it for the price but when I went most of the animals we're resting I plan to go back at more peak hours when the animals are alert.

Loredana Marciano

Awsome place , to visit spand day with family to learn .

Thomas Owens

Cool animals for viewing. Facility is outdated. No customer service. Half of the animals are sick or hiding. No shows or activities. Its different everytime you go.

Don Young

Wonderful place for the family. You'll never get closer to the big cats without getting eaten. Take your time and enjoy all of the animals. Well worth the time and the drive.

Victoria Palmer

Great variety of animals. Good prices. Great family fun!

Natalie Watson

It was neat to be able to see the endangered tigers, but they did not seem to have the proper habitats. The tigers and other large animals did not seem to have enough space. Arctic wolves live in Alaska, therefore like cold weather, but were kept outside in the heat. Anacondas live in water but had very little water in the cage.

Andreah Emery

I really enjoyed it. . . The peacocks, black swans, and of course the TIGERS!!! :-

JJ Joy

Nice family outing to do something different. Good variety of animals for a mini zoolike place. My kids loved it. They even have a playground and plenty of picnic spots. Unfortunately they were out of food to feed the animals so may wanna call before hand if it's something you wanna do.

Edward Waddell

Excellent destination for the whole family! Lots of different animals to experience, learn about, get REALLY close to, and in some cases even feed! Go and support this excellent conservation site for turtles and birds all the way up to lions and bears!

Jessica Herbst

Every time we come there have been improvements made that benefit the animals. The humans clearly take good care of the animals here.

Mercedez Jordan

Great experience! Animals are clean, healthy, and most of all happy!! The staff is so friendly ❤️ Price is definitely worth it! $15 for adults and $8 for Veterans

Houston Millsap

Great place. I got to see almost all of the animals. Only a couple were hidden in their private areas. I got to see some peacocks courting just running around the whole park. The info on each animal is good as well. Definitely coming back here. It's best to come when it's cool, so morning or if it's cloudy.

Jennifer Barnhardt

I absolutely love tiger world. The staff are super friendly and the animals are very well taken care of.

Ashley Cundiff

Great spot for a nice day! Took our 18 month old and she was amazed by all of the animals, especially the loose peacocks. We spent about 2 and a half hours and saw everything. It was the first nice day we've had in awhile, so all of the animals seemed to be out and interacting with the visitors. We will definitely be coming back!!

Jennifer Schelly

Surprisingly good sanctuary for big cats. I was expecting a bad roadside zoo when we drove in, but the animals were well cared for, the staff really cared, and there was good educational information at every single animal enclosure.

Jamie Hull

I understand that the money raised through donations and entry is supposed to go to the care of the animals but it sure doesn't seem like the animals are kept up. You could smell them and could see that the conditions the animals lived in could be way better. Not saying I expect it to be as good as a big zoo but definitely feel like the enclosures need work. One of the baboons couldn't open its eye and had a big growth on its rear end. My kids loved the experience I just wish I felt like my money was going to a good cause as rescuing animals from a bad situation to only have them live in squalor isn't a good solution to me.

Stephanie R. Derby

Took my 3yr old on a Saturday! Absolutely fun and lots of animals to see and feed! Family fun for all! The tigers and Lions you can see very up close!

Robert Paschal

We had a group of 11 from a handicap school. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole trip. It allowed all of the children to see the animals up close, even if wheelchair bound. We had a guide for a personal tour who was very knowledgeable and kind to all of our students. Truly a great experience. I would encourage anyone to go and enjoy the whole experience.

Rachel Mongiovi

This place is amazing. The animals look well taken care of and the staff all seems passionate about what they do.

Jamie W

Very nice place very friendly staff

Félix Molina

Beautiful well care for.

Seth Dascher

Amazing place! Great what they are doing there at that facility. Went there on our last day in NC. It can be walked through quickly if need be but also offers a good amount of different tours along with encounters.

Stephanie S

Loved it. The staff LOVES answering questions and are really knowledgeable. Amazing day adventure! I've read some reviews that said the enclosures were too small and the cats don't get "enrichment" or the cats were lethargic. Honestly the cats do seem to get sleepy after feeding time (me too!). But what that person may not have known is that some of the rescued cats need to be in smaller enclosures for health reasons or that many of the cats enclosures are rotated. Also the staff uses TONS of enrichment, but a lot of that includes scents that can't be "seen". I would definitely suggest going and taking a FREE tour do you can ask any questions you have about the animals and then making your own decision. A few questions can make a huge difference in your perspective and you're almost certain to learn something new!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nick Ngo

What is not to like here?! WOW! The lions and tigers here are beautiful. I never knew there was such a thing as white lion. This place has one! And he is beautiful. If you're into big cats, this IS the place to be! My 3 kids, my lady and myself, thoroughly enjoyed this conservation. We spent 3 hours walking around and enjoyed every tiger and lion here. The peacocks are super friendly. And this place is a non-profit. I look forward to bring my family back along with the nephews and nieces. Highly recommend this Tiger World!

George Y.

Great place, great staff and great animals. The animals are extremely well cared for and very social! Great place for the family and everyone of all ages!

Chas Dowtin

Animals great, got a nice hoodie, very friendly staff who treat the animals humanely and really are passionate about their wellbeing

Tori Moore

My entire family went and we absolutely had a blast!!! So many animals and all so gorgeous! Taken well care of and we got to feed some tigers!!! Full supporter for this organization!

Donald Williams

Had fun with the kids not a terrible place by any means, the wolf looked very rough though

Scott Stevens

I love the concept. They're taking in rescues and doing what they can to give them the best life possible. The enclosures seem adequate for the animals, with the possible exception of some of the primates, but I think they're being treated well. As for the guest experience, the general feel of the place seems a little run-down. The landscaping isn't really kept up and most of the fixtures are very old. The copious number of peacocks and geese means there's a lot of poop to dodge, so I wouldn't let a toddler wander too far away from you. But the result is that you get more up close and personal with most of these animals than you ever will at a traditional zoo. You can stand inches away from kangaroos, bears, all kinds of stuff, and they're all very well socialized animals. Overall, I think it's a good place. They're doing what they can with limited funds, and it's working pretty well for them. I think with increased popularity and some more cash flow, they could do a lot of things I imagine they'd like to do as far as upgrading the facility.

Laura Trexler

We had more fun with a squirrel some of the animals weren't there and they hardly had any. They had one wolf that didn't look so good the people who work there didn't have time to talk and when they did they acted like we didn't exsist they wouldn't let us even just feel the sloth's hair unless we paid 100.00 dollars it was a very unhappy visit a few of the worker's were nice but very few I'm sorry

Kim Denaro

It's a rescue worth visiting!

Mathew Taylor

This is a great place! It's a non profit wildlife sanctuary that puts the money they get back to the animals. Every time we've come here, you see evidence that they've done so, with upgrading facilities, habitats, etc. The staff all are friendly and knowledgeable. The feeding experience was very cool to participate in (helped train a leopard) and would highly encourage visiting them and their animals!

Lester Sisk

They have a wide variety of big cats. All of them look well cared for and healthy. The staff seems to really care. It is sad to see animals locked in enclosures however all of them are rescued and are living in better conditions now. This is a privately funded facility and deserves a visit and any support that can be provided. Once a month they sell tickets for the animal feeding. It cost twenty dollars and you must make a reservation. Well worth it. Check their website for dates.

Marcia G Hunt

Was ok,needs a lot of upkeep, donations to help feed and repair.ok for a small place.

Great for kids. Place needs tons of donations so please give some when there

Mike Padgett

Loved it had a private encounter with Opie a tiger cub. Once in a lifetime experience

Jeraci Gibbs

Its a nice place for a relaxing visit. Pack your own lunch.

Kameron Smith

Today's visit was AWESOME. After visiting the NC Zoo last Sunday, I wanted to go somewhere that had a lot of the big cats! This was the place I found online and I'm glad I visited. To me its better than the zoo! Lots of animals, not a lot of walking at all! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back! Great for a family!

Amy Granata

We love visitng Tiger World! It is a great zoo alternative as it is smaller and my young kids can easily walk around without getting tired. We love how close we can see the animals. In our experience the animals are more active in the morning so that's when we usually go. There is a playground too which is always fun for the kids. We pack a picnic lunch and eat at one of the picnic tables and make a day of it.

Mike Ball

It is such a great place the staff is always friendly and very helpful they answer any questions that you may have I love this place and highly recommend it

aimlame 1

Such a great place. Took my Christmas tree in with me this year. I love being able to recycle it one last time. Only thing I wish was there was more information about the particular animal and the reason they're in the rehabilitation center. I'd like to know what care they're getting along with the information about the animal in general. Overall great way to spend the day. Oh, and right now there are lion Cubs that are so adorable. This is a must do if you live in the NC area. Great work. Keep it up!

Shirl See

Tiger world? Hardly. More like someone had a small collection of exotic cats and assembled them on their land. This place is just ok. Nothing memorable. Pretty unremarkable. There were a hand full of tigers and lions and a few kangaroos too. The site had chairs scattered throughout the park under trees so you could sit and rest in the shade. There was a little play area for kids. Pretty steep admission for what you get. $13 for kids 2-17 and $15 for adults. I think I would rather spend that kind of money at a zoo instead.

Frank O

White tigers, lions, snd all kinds of exotic animals. Jost outstanding

Rose Colangelo

Really fun place, all of the animals seemed well taken care of and happy. We got to experience the Gibbon songs and tigers playing and lounging in the pool. Admission price is definitely worth it.

LeeAnn Leonard

This place was great afternoon fun. It is small and it allows you to have close contact with the animals without being too close but not far away like in a zoo. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. All of the people working there were very knowledgeable and had answers to every single question that we had. We will be back!

Mike Havok

Had a fantastic time there today. Went around 12-12:30, feeding time, and had a blast

Tim Davis

A wonderful place to spend the afternoon with the family! The staff was courteous and quite helpful, and the animals were awesome to see! Lots of diversity among the menagerie, all in all it was an excellent trip, and well worth the money. 10/10 will return soon!

Brittany Payntar

Would be five stars if the bathrooms weren't utterly disgusting. Some exhibits seemed too small but maybe because they were older, who knows

Jebria Thomas

Poop every where. Place definitely needs to be updated. Some of the cages where pretty small . And animals look bored and tired. Bath room was horrible. The reptile indoors need to be update i took one step in the door and walked back out it was so dirty and needed to be updated. Peacocks are aggressive.

Julia Chambers

Loved it will be going back to with my grandkids. Animals was beautiful and healthy and very well taken care of.

sr nair

This place is truly atiger world full of wild animals and smaller space that visitors do not have to walk around a lot especially when visiting with kids. The lions and tigers are well taken care of and we could have a closer look at them than any other zoo. Worth the trip.. adults and kids would equally enjoy this place.

David Green

Great Zoo for a day out with children and family, staff are very friendly and helpful in all the information they give about the big cats they have rescued and look after. They also have a reptile house and a bear den. In the summer go early as the big cats will be more active then.

Junior Phillips

Awesome big cat rescue and santuary. Great staff, and the sloth encounter was a wonderful experience.

Hilda J. Garcia

Four of us walk around tour and so some different kind names of animals, we enjoyed it.

shailesh rajpoot

Zero Maintenance.. Facility isn’t clean, ruins & waste everywhere.. As for animals, feed times are so early morning, you can’t even plan to be there - park open hours, animals are barely active. Typically your visit goes like this “Get the tickets, walk around trying hard to get a peek at napping animals.. if you get lucky probably get a glimpse of one or two. Attendants barely make any effort to play/interact with animals or you. Even before you realize, you’re done wandering around, barely in 20-30 mins.. what a disappointment..!! Save yourself the pain & money.. If you’re close to Florida, Probably just drive over to Catty Shack Ranch in JAX - you won’t regret it...

Rachel Mears

So exciting to be that close to the animals. Best to try and see feeding time, that was awesome to see all the tigers and lion so active and ready for food!

dean bryant

VERY NICE PLACE FOR THE KIDS!!

Crissy B

Needed something to do with the kids on a beautiful winter/spring Sunday, so we checked this place out. Ironically located in a residential area (safety issue

Miguel Rios

The animals are so cute I loved my trip there

Jodi Buder

Great place for kids, but I found it slightly disturbing how distressed some of the lions and tigers looked. Pacing is a sign of distress in animals and we saw about 3 or 4 of the large cats pacing the perimeter of their small cages. I felt some of the animals had a lot of room to roam, but yet the large cats (Panthers, cheetahs, lions, tigers) had too small of cages.

Derick Mullis

Everywhere you look there is something new to see! You are offered an intimate and close interaction with nearly every animal. Lots to see and do! Takes about 2hrs if you take your time.

Indraneel Phadke

Great place to see tge Great Big Cats! Possibly only place within 1000 mikes to see a Liger and other tyoes of cats with rare mutations... Staff is vefy passionate about what they do, clearly not just a job. These are all rescue animals.

Eva Freeman

Great afternoon adventure, for children and adults. Pay attention to feeding and training times. :)

Sean Sifford

This is an amazing place that saves the lives of so many precious animals. Come and see Michael the white lion, Star and their cubs!

LaVonne Reed

Amazing place. Such a good variety of animals and so taken care of. I recommend this for everyone!

D Manning

A great place to take the kids. They have all types of animals you would never think you’ll run into in North Carolina. My children love it here. It’s affordable and close to home.

Pete Schroeder

Great little place! And an important cause. Check it out if your around.

dhmi .m

Various animals with different categories for each

Misty Mitchell

Great place to visit, inexpensive and a great learning experience.

Ann Bejcek

We visited this small zoo with our grandchildren. The animals are mostly cats but they are beautiful. Tigers, lions, leopards, and other cats. One of the guides there was very informative and we enjoyed our visit.

Sunny Everhart

A great way to see some big cats up close.

Teresa McDermott

Lots of different animals in a more intimate setting than a zoo. You can get a closer look. Also, play areas for kids. I was pleasantly suprised by how much was available to see. I thought it would just be a few tigers. Very well done.

Team Family

Horrible conditions for animals, I would have never went if I wasn't on the list for the field trip! Never again! The cages are way to small, I don't understand how you can have a "zoo" in your backyard . . . It's pitiful to see such amazing animals in these conditions.

Alicia Regrut

This is an incredible place, for you and your kids, or even as a date, if youre that type of person. I am, i loved it. You can tell they take a lot of care when it comes to keeping their animals safe and happy, it is a little better when its not a million degrees, because you will sweat, a lot, but aside from that the place is clean, the restrooms were clean, and the way its set up is easy to navigate and not that big. The selection of animals is pretty good, but it also isnt a zoo, its tiger world, so expect to see alot of lions and tigers, and a pretty good bit of monkeys, with a handful of other animals. Very family friendly and totally worth the trip. We will be going back, when its cooler, but very soon.

Wendy Edwards

Nice little place to visit. I would suggest going early morning when animals are active more. Gift shop should not be where tickets in are purchased, had to wait in line for awhile behind shoppers to just to get in.

Laura Fletcher

Fun day and a great cause to support

Janet LaCorte

Fun place to bring the kids, some of the animals seemed restless or inactive, but overall in good health

Jocelyn Portela

Very different than the average zoo style in a good way. We loved it only downside is the drink machines only take cash and the souvenir shop only sold ice cream so we were too hot and just left earlier than i would have liked. Next time I will plan better.

Michelle Clark

We had fun for a small trip not too far from home. My granddaughter loved looking at all the animals and had fun on the playground. A fun day trip for a few hours!

Yenci Dahanara Hernandez Valladares

Was good to see the animals but i think they are not living in a habitat with good conditions because some of them didn't have water and they were looking thirsty and i feel bad for the tigers because they are so beautiful but they were so thiny and one of the people that was giving him some food was only throwing the food in the floor and the tiger didn't eat it because the food got sand i would like to say that is a litle risk because the fences are no that safe they can easy get out of there with enough strong and the bathrooms were nasty..the mans can't even use their bathroom..i will not recommend this place to anyone.

Melissa Hernandez

It was really fun. The staff was polite and friendly. The animals all looked very happy and well taken care of.

Kayla

Came down from Indiana to visit family. This place is absolutely amazing! The animals are well taken care of and you can tell the workers are passionate about what they do. I would love to visit it again some day!

Bec Cranford

Awesome. $15 a person is kind of high but we enjoyed it.

Kong Yang

The staff were great. Animals were awesome. If you want to see them then go early. We went late and only seen them sleeping.

Nicholas Huitger

Visiting from Cincinnati. I have been to many zoos, and this is a completely different experience. To be up close and personal with the animals, seeing them play, and interact with one another is incredible. The staff was also very friendly as well.

Vikki Bullock

My daughter and I really enjoyed the zoo and she was able to feed some of the animals

Luke Kantio

You can tell these people really care about the animals. Definitely invest an extra $5 for a cup of animal feed. Some of the animals are free to walk around with you, so wear shoes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.

Shana Martin

My fiance and I loved it. The exhibits were really small, which is why I will encourage people to visit and make a donation to Tiger World so the animals can receive larger habitats.

Bob Bruno

Awesome place with a good amount of animals. You can get a little closer to the animals here than you otherwise would be able to at a normal zoo. You can tell that the employees really care about the animals in their care. I will definitely be back!

Karen Johnston

Seeing these giant animals, and small ones, being cared for as well as possible warms my heart AND makes me sad at the same time. Love to see them up close. Habitats are really special.

Mohan Kakarla

You can see most big cats young and healthy unlike in other zoo's.

Chakradhar

Good place and only nearby place around Charlotte area for kids to look at few wild animals.

Denver Baker

We love tiger world today is bring a tree get in free day! Bring a plant and come see tigers

Terrie Teague

problems. Need alot more coverage for tigers and lions. And they need meat not just grain to eat and a pump system that they can have cool water and water like pond to cool off in.other than that. I hope you get it soon.all the other animals seem fine. But meat eating animals need meat. Birds can eat bird food all say long. Hope you give fish to bees too. And other meat. In case they might end up in the wild some day.

Sarah Lathrop

My family and I have been visiting Tiger World for almost 4 years now. We are from Rock Hill South Carolina and we drive an hour to visit and it is well worth the drive. We enjoy going every year to the Wild Easter Egg Hunt and to the Halloween Boo at the zoo costume event. You can tell the zoo is family owned because there is such a warm feeling you get from everyone on staff.

Matt Turner

Very cool local exotic animal zoo. The exhibited animals are rescues and retirees . Bears wolves tigers lions emus. Pretty cool. Not super high class as far as upkeep but you cant really expect a standard commercial zoo experience . They do sloth experiences for 100$ . Check it out!

Becca Jaster

We saw a lot more animals this time (in the winter) and saw a few feedings. Not usually worth buying the cup of food from our experience. Morning seems to be a good time to go.

Julie Brennan

This place if filled with wonderful animals and the staff is helpful and informative. A must see!!

Charlie Clay

Y'all will have to wait until I come back from heaven. Yes that is how much of an great experience that I had and am still having. Awesome and Mighty

jimmy christy

Had a lot of fun we'll be going back

Mrs. C

Great place to see these gorgeous animals up close. Small enough to go through in 1 1/2 hours or so if you're stopping to observe and take pics.

Andrew Gibson

I want to give this place better stars but I feel like I can't because it's too overpriced for me... I'm sure they get grants and they have sponsors but it was still almost $70 for a family of 4.. I struggle with it because that's about the same price to get into a full size zoo.. I get that they have bills to pay but still think it's too expensive for what you get.. Aside from price, it is a nice sanctuary and clean and well kept. There are seating options throughout the park. Vending machines are also available. They also have a gift shop. Be warned, if you go in the middle of a hot day, the animals will most likely be napping in the shade and not easy to see. And you will definitely not get your money's worth. There are lots of animals to see and the feeding cup is fun and affordable plus you keep the cup.. We bought one cup and it was plenty for our family of four. Lots to see if the animals are out so plan your trip on a cooler day, in the morning or night. Ample parking. We will be coming back here in the fall!

Alex

It's a great place. For people who might not want to just see tigers and lions, it gets better. They have emus and monkeys and bears. However, the main attraction is cats, so expect to see a bunch of tigers and lions and ligers. 10/10

Jocelyn Portela

Very different than the average zoo style in a good way. We loved it only downside is the drink machines only take cash and the souvenir shop only sold ice cream so we were too hot and just left earlier than i would have liked. Next time I will plan better.

Taylor Johnson

Love this preserve. Love how close you can get to the animals, especially the peafowl and geese that patrol the grounds. Love the fare that is taken into with their animals.

Lilianny Stephenson

Really fun place for the kids. The peacocks, ducks, geese and roosters roam free and that was cool. Of course the tigers wer awesome and the sloth experience is cool.

Reba Stogner

This is worth every penny if we could see all the animals. I just felt short changed after spending seventy dollars and half the animals were not there

Bryar

Ems, fire, and police get in discounted. Great, calm place to see the animals up close. Reptile building isn't really labeled great. There were snakes, but it didn't say what kind. Check out the zookeeper art in the gift shop! And if you stick around long enough, you might get to see the wolves howling at the sirens! Peacocks are REALLY friendly. So are the Emu! The young lady in the gift shop was great to talk to, and very helpful! The noisy monkey's at the far end of the park are fun to watch! They get excited seeing kids!

Elizabeth Blackwell

Spent the day with my grandchildren and had such a good time!! The animals were amazing and close enough to us that we could see them well. Their habitats were clean and they all had toys to play with. Plenty of shade and water and you could tell all the animals were well fed and cared for. Great place to spend with your loved ones and friends, no matter what age.❤ We will be back again soon!

Jacqulyn Bowman

Tiger World is my favorite place to visit! This facility truly cares about the animals welfare. You can see the high level of attention that the keepers provide. They offer animal encounters to help raise money and it goes right back to the animals. You can learn a lot by talking to the keepers, and watching them provide enrichment. We enjoy it so much that we visited 2 weekends in a row! I do recommend going as soon as they open in the morning because the animals are very active then.

Matt Claus

Loved this experience and I cant wait to go back again

Earl Brown

Great for a day out and animals that you actually can see

Great place to visit. Nonprofit organization does a good job with the animals. 1 staff member seemed to be in a bad mood the day we visited.

Phyllis Reed

What a great place. Took our grandson and he is still talking a out it.

Renelus P. Melton

It was wonderful also a relaxed time. I like to spend time with the animals. Thanks for these questions God bless all of you.

Seann Erhart

Lots of big cats, more active in the morning. Monkeys, wolf's, bears, and birds as well.

Duane Sowa

Must do activity in pittsboro and surrounding area. I have never been able to get so close to these animals. I did the public tour and the guide was extremely professional and did not rush us. Would be great date idea, activity with the kids, or I would even go alone.

Will reyes

It was a really good experience i will go back there, bcs is not to much walking

This place is pretty crazy I was not expecting to see as much as we saw and I loved how lively all the animals were. they have some animals freely roaming around mostly birds such as peacocks and little kiwi looking birds that are not kiwis. It overall was just a very interactive and engrossing experience. It was crowded but I couldn't be upset about that because the animals were so lively. If there was any reason I could not give this place if I star rating it would mainly be because of the fact that some of the animals have such free reign of the place that they even will carry themselves into the bathroom and I mean people bathroom and you'll have to attempt to do your business with animals in there and they are far from clean astronomically far.so if you want to have a really good time and be ready to give it a 5-star review you need to use the restroom before you step foot anywhere near this place.

Awesome displays of a lot more than tigers!

Awesome experience. Friendly staff. Only takes around 2 hours to go through the whole park so it's great for smaller kids.

Tammy Lindsey

I loved all the animals plus we got to see the baby kangaroo

Betsy Foster

I went to check out Tiger World today because of the excellent reviews online. It cost $16 to get in & about 1-2 hours to see all of the animals. Although I understand this facility is for rescues, the conditions of all the enclosures are extremely sad, dirty, small and claustrophobic; I would never wish any animal to be caged up at Tiger World. I’m a zoo lover and appreciate a facility that respects the space and enrichment animals need to be physically and mentally healthy. All of Tiger World’s enclosures are caged with chicken-wire type fencing; very weak fencing that they could probably be pushed down with enough force. All of the enclosure’s ponds were either dried up or dirty, dung littered the grounds, and the poor animals hardly had spaces to escape from the heat today (87F+). One tiger just sat there and kept crying because it was so bored.. what gets me is they want to expand with a safari and more claustrophobic enclosures. Tiger World, you are in no condition to expand. You need to substantially increase the size of all your enclosures, maintain sanitary habitats for the animals, and provide them with ANY kind of enrichment before you decide to expand. I don’t plan a return in the near future. I was in a happier mood before I went in and experienced the depressing conditions.

It was a great place to see animals up close. The animals looked well and had a good amount of space in their enclosures. I also really enjoyed the feeding cups you could purchase to feed the wolves, primates, birds and bears.

It's a small animal place in cazes. Most of the animal's welfare, food are sponcered by interested persons. You can complete full round in 2 hrs. Góod place

We took our granddaughters to Tiger World and had a fabulous time. So good to know there are places that take such good care of endangered, rescued animals. Very clean and great picnic area.

Wayne Merrifield

A wonderful place to spend a morning or afternoon. Excellent mix of animals ... especially enjoyed the big cats! Great staff as well. Highly recommend a visit.

Great face to face experience with the animals. Hang out with peacocks and guineas and ducks and chickens that roam free. Lots of big cats! Friendly staff! At first I was nervous cuz it seems like we were driving into a residential neighborhood but upon arriving it was everything I expected and more. They have an owl that just stares at you it's very beautiful.

Elisa Hallum

So sad that these animals are extinct. :(

Donna Penninger

My first experience there. They were very friendly and knowlegable about the animals. Beautiful rescues! I will definitely go back and support them!

Eric Hale

Really neat place. If you love big cats, you will really like this place.

DeMishea Charleston

Very fun place. Loved all the animals. Highly recommend for a quick family fun event.

Kim Kiser

It was fun. The animals were great. They were really active considering the extreme heat. The park is small but considering this is a non profit it is impressive. What they are doing is really great. The animals look really cared for. I would recommend this for any animal lover.

Kimberly Salisbury

We arrived about 30 minutes after they opened and were told the big cats were currently being fed, and if we followed the red truck around, we could watch. What a cool experience! We walked around quickly to all the cats while they were being fed, and then went around again to see what we missed. Michael is a gorgeous white lion! We also got to see staff interacting with his three cubs (currently 1.5 years old) - we could've watched them all day! It was so fun to see the staff play with them and give them commands to follow. The staff were also very willing to answer any questions and offer additional information on the growing cubs and their parents (Michael and Star). There are also tigers (of course!), cougars, panthers and jaguars, as well as other animals. We enjoyed our visit!
