REVIEWS OF Popcorn Park Zoo IN New Jersey

Melody Pryor-Tasco

Absolutely love the people and the animals there. Please don't compare it to the Cincinnati or Bronx Zoo. It is a local refuge for wildlife and animals from other zoos. It also serves as a local humane society. Great place to let the kids run around and you will not go broke spending time there. A local must go !!

Melissa Ramos

The ticket lady is somewhat rude and unfriendly. Why have a person like this as your frontline?

Jim Bridges

Loved the big cats.

Cari V

So much fun!!! So inexpensive!! My kids and my niece and nephew loved feeding all the animals

Shawnalee Klimaszewski

This is a small little zoo, perfect for young children with a short attention span. They have many different animals, although it can be a bit difficult to see them through the multiple fences (I understand that they are there for safety). It's an easy hour or so, trying to throw the different animals popcorn. The ground is sand, so strollers are difficult to maneuver, but the website does warn you about that. Purchasing the tickets was a little confusing as there was a sign on the main office door that stated that it was only for animal adoptions, not the zoo, but that was where they were selling the tickets. Other than that it was a lovely little place that was well kept, just small.

Athena Tundra

Thank goodness for Popcorn Park Zoo. A place where animals are rescued & get a 2nd chance at life. Where love & support go hand in hand in the quest to save animals from hard situations, where they cannot be saved otherwise. They do what they can, when they can, with what they have.... Love this place. Consider being a sponsor. You will love it even more.

Kyra Hoffmann

Nice little zoo where you get to feed the animals popcorn and peanuts. Many of the animals come from abusive places and this is a much better place for them.

REGINA Milstein

Cute place. Great cause.

Dorothy Bork

Enjoyed seeing the animals they are very well taken care of I was very pleased about that I will go back in a heartbeat anytime thank you for having us

Thomas Will

Fun zoo, great for kids.

Sue Fabian

A lot of fun for the kids and adults at very low cost. Cool to see some place that cares for wild animals that would be otherwise put down.

Kyle Negron

Great zoo for little kids to learn and feed the animals. My daughter loves the tigers, monkeys and bears. Can be a little sad at times with the stories of some of the animals as this zoo rescues animals in varying conditions from all over.

Ariella King

Always a fun place to take my kids!

Nik Nik

Of course I am all for rescuing animals, but I really don’t feel that they are getting the care that they require. From my perspective, there is not enough staff/volunteers to go around. When I visited, I had arrived at opening and spent a couple of hours there. I didn’t see some animals get water until as late as noon and it was late into the summer season. The staff made me extremely uncomfortable as well. Very rude when entering the park. Hopefully they can get some more hands on deck. It saddened me so much, I have no plan on returning. And is an infinite amount of popcorn really an ok diet for the various animals they have there? Whose idea was that?

Joanne Zullo

Nice rescue place, not big but you never know what you'll see

Lisa Richichi

What an amazing place we have here in Ocean County to bring our children too. Me and my four year old went for the first time and we really enjoyed learning about the animals and feeding them popcorn. They have tigers, lions, bears, horses, cows, llamas, goat's, pigs, follow deer, ducks, peacocks, geese, parrots, turtles, iguanas, alligators , monkeys, and dogs. It's perfect for kids of any age and a great learning experience. It's very affordable and really a nice place to take the whole family for a couple of hours if not longer.

Rebecca Goodman

The perfect placer to take young kids. All my son talks about is feeding the animals popcorn. We always have a great time.

Kaysea G.

Always a fun time for the kids that’s local and affordable.

Lori Neiman

Good to see animals no one wanted or were abandoned are being taken care of! Fun to feed the animals the popcorn.

Bracha Ani

Very fun for the kids. The kids love feeding all the animals popcorn.

Alex U

Had a blast with my daughter and fiance. The animals are friendly and admission is affordable.

Maria Cymanski

A place to go when you just want a calm peaceful day with your family to enjoy the resident animals that are being cared for by truley caring and knowledgable caretakers. Some have deformities, or have had a sad past. Its a very heart warming place to visit and very inexpensive. A place to make family memories . Also popcorn or peanuts to purchase to feed as a treat which makes it even more enjoyable

Lisa V

So much fun watching the animals trying to get to the popcorn

Richard J. Barbalace

Nice small animal center with many techie animals. Habitats are small, especially for the larger carnivores, but they do not seem to have much funding or space available for expansion. Geese roam freely and will terrorize small children feeding them popcorn, so please watch the little ones to protect them from any aggression. Peacocks and peahens also roam freely and are more polite. Great for small children, if you keep Ann eye one them and the geese.

Kym Lezotte

Super cute. Perfect for in between nap times.

Christopher Todd

Best little zoo around on the east coast. A couple bucks gives you a few hours of feeding animals and having a good time.

michael laphan

Great little zoo. Parking could be improved however.

Mike Martelli

Great way to spend the day seeing a nice variety of animals without spending a fortune.

jeanne lee

A place where an array of animals are saved from some terrible or tragic pasts to live out their lives in safety

S Back

Nice zoo with a very feel good message to say. Only $7 a person so they are definitely not in it for the money. Worth supporting them.

Robert Olson

Very nice for kids n grandkids

Justin Federici

This is an absolute hidden gem! My entire family loved the entire experience. Highly recommend the "large popcorn" as feeding the animals is fun for everyone.

Arthur Kizman

Don't waste your time at the Popcorn Zoo if you don't have a recent vetanarian record. I spent time going there and looking at the cats and waited 5 days, then called about my application and was told because I don't have a vet record for the last 5 yrs, they won't give me any animal. They should post that ridiculous rule on their website.

Bassi Adler

They publicly embarrassed me by yelling at me very loudly just for trying to show the peacock to my little son. And when my older son said to one of the other employees gently not to embarrass ppl in public he told him to get out of my face and threatened him. I believe they were overwhelmed and they need to be more calm.

Vinny Mahovetz

Great for the family, The kids thought it was the greatest thing ever, feeding all the animals also some by hand

Joseph Peterson

Very nice place to see all the exotic animals ,

Lori

The Best Zoo that i have EVER BEEN, Want a really HOT DAY

Michelle Durand

Nice place to bring the family. You can feed some of the animals and see them up close. The attractions could use some updating but I am sure it costs a lot of money to maintain and feed the animals. The admission was nominal for the experience you receive with your family.

John Eisenbarger

FUN! we took our 3 year old granddaughter and she had the best time.

Wendy Solaas

Always a great time had my 6 year old grandaughter and 2 year old grandson they were so much fun watching them looking at the animals love love popcorn park zoo

shuvan murray

I attended the zoo 3 weeks ago and it was ok. What made me sad was certain animals were lacking water in there bowls/little pools, not good on a hot day for animals. Especially the birds & lions.

amanda pellicano

I went there this past Sunday and literally every animal I encountered was starving, I particularly noticed a female goat the was pregnant and eyes were watery like she was crying and I also notice the Lion was all skin and bones and when he made sounds, the sound was of like heavy breathing like it had NO strength. It was very disturbing, amongst other animals that had scars as if they are beating the animals. I took sight of one of the staff members and I smell weed on them and blood shot eyes in another world zoned out NOT attending to the animals. When I left through the main entrance it smelled of Urine. I can only do so much like write a review/report but I hope this issue is resolved.

Mike Murphy

A very nice little all-rescue zoo. Very reasonably priced with boxes of popcorn used as an incentive to donate more. It’s clear they care well for the animals, and it’s much less exploitative than a typical large zoo. We’ve come for years, we donate every time, and we like Popcorn Park. Only complaint is that at our last visit, the roving zoo security staff really had a chip on their shoulder about keeping the kids away from the peacocks that freely wander the zoo. I’m all for the intent of teaching kids responsible behavior around animals, but there’s a line between advocating for the animals and being just plain bitter and mean, and it’s never pleasant to see it crossed. Seemed like they were under some stress and we just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but when a rescue decides to operate as a zoo, it comes with a chance to foster a love and respect for wildlife, and that’s not what we saw today.

Vanessa Lemanski

The counter lady was frustrated with me but took it out on my 6 yr old. We walked the entire zoo in 15mins

carolann serrapica

I LOVE IT HERE!!! GREAT STAFF AND AWESOME ANIMALS THIS IS A PLACE YOU GO OVER AND OVER! ANF PLEASE DONATE TO HELP KEEP THE PARK RUNNING!

Chris Applegate

Brought my wife there, fun place to go if you like animals and feeding them.

Linda Dawson

Loved it.there should be more handicap parking though.

Brynn Ashlee

This place was great! $16 for me, my boyfriend and a large bag of popcorn to feed the animals. Also a huge plus that it’s all rescue animals! We’ll definitely be coming back! Loved this more than any other petting zoo we’ve been to

Joseph Klimaszewski

It's a fun little place with a surprising number of animals. Access is easy and the entrance fee is low. And it all goes for a good cause - care for wounded or abandoned animals.

Jennifer Nielsen

A wonderful place to visit for young and old and all in between. The home to a large variety of animals that needed saving and a dog and cat adoption area. You can purchase popcorn as you enter to feed the animals. You take your time on the self guided walk through the park. A very nice way to spend several hours in a nice day!

Brian Smith

Always a nice time with my son there

David Godley

I enjoy the Popcorn Zoo as they honor military and a good amount of animals... loved Simba the Lion

Rachel Kelly

Popcorn Park Zoo is great! It is so cheap and there are a wide variety of animals. I love that they are all rescued.

Sara Feigenbaum

All 4 My Children LLC

This place is wonderful for 4yr holds up to adults, inexpensive!

Taylor Gerbounka

So fun. Loved feeding the bears

morgan sweeney

Good little place to take the kids for a day. The popcorn is a nice touch and gives it a unique feel. The zoo is a bit small and the location is out of the way. The day we went the lines were 30 minutes long and it was very hot out. Overall, not too bad for the price.

Susan Williams

We had such a great time! I suggest 2 bags of peanuts and 1 box of popcorn per person. It lasted beginning to end. It was a wonderful day. I would suggest looking at the shelter wish list before heading down and bring the donations over after or before you visit the zoo. We felt really good we were able to do that too. The zoo was clean and not over crowded. Each animal has a story which makes it extra special

The Robbins Nest

Love going here with the kids! It's satisfying to see the animals saved and the stories their stories. I've visited here since I was a kid and love bringing mine now too. Being able to interact with the animals and knowing your family can't wonder too far outside the fenced in areas makes this a peaceful and rewarding outing. A must for the whole family!

Debra Livas

Super kid friendly. Loved seeing all the different types of animals they rescued and being able to read their backstory.

Dmitriy Nikolayenko

Love this place. So thankful that my girlfriend showed me it as I'm not a fan of zoos. But this one is for a good cause.

Janice Kim

Fun little zoo with tigers, lions, bears and more. Young kids will enjoy feeding popcorn to various animals. Also, peacocks are everywhere.

Thomas Straffi

If you enjoy feeding farm animals, deer, monkeys, llamas, and bears peanuts and popcorn, then the Popcorn Zoo is the best place to go. There are also rescue lions and tiger. Admission prices are really reasonable. Tips to make your trip enjoyable. Do not wear sandals there is a lot of loose sand and dirt. Also bring sunscreen. There are no amenities inside the zoo, no food stands, no bathrooms. Bathrooms are outside the zoo and consist of porta potties. There is no place to wash your hands so bring plenty of wipes, or some soap and water with you. There are hand sanitizer stations scattered throughout the zoo. No food is allowed in the zoo, there are picnic tables next to the parking lot. All in all a nice time, economical and fun.

Karen Vagg

Visited with my 4 grandkids. Absolutely a wonderful place. I'm trying to figure out which animal to sponsor!

Rosalie Montana

Amazing. Today was very crowded. The kids (3) were amazed at the footballmany peacocks, the size of the bears the the lions roar etc. Great price, large area for the animals.

I love this place, not only for the lovely, and precious animals, but for the endearing, and essential work that's too, and for them. Fantastic place to bring your family, and please support them as you can !

Craig Radhuber

I have got to say I am not a zoo person, but I could appreciate the fact that these are all rescued animals. The zoo itself was very clean and well maintained. The animals looked well nourished and cared for. Yes I will be back again and gladly pay the small entrance fee.

Jessica Chiara

I really enjoyed coming here. Tickets are $7 and you can purchase a box of popcorn to feed the animals. They have horses, goats, bears, tigers and more. It is definitely worth checking out.

Carol Anderson

It is a great time, never get tired of it.

Kerry Brown

I love going here with my fiance. It's great what they do for the animals and they really care.

Scott Luczkow

Great zoo. More intimate than the larger zoos. You get up close the the animals. Awesome experience.

Shan Ry

So cute. Great for little kids... all animals are rescued..

Diane Chell-Moretz

The animals need access to some refreshing water! It was very hot and the bears didn't look very hydrated...they should have a large watering hole to dip into; which wouldn't cost much at all to create, I would think.

Ari Nestlebaum

If you want to visit a small location which rehabilitates ill or mistreated animals of all types, this is the zoo for you. If you're looking for a full-size, family friendly zoo experience, complete with cafes, splashy video presentations and behind-the-scenes opportunities with the zookeepers and animals, this is most certainly NOT the zoo for you. Plan to spend no more than 1.5 hours here, because it is not a large area. Its name comes from the popcorn one may purchase at admissions and feed to the various animals one encounters. It's worthwhile to buy it on top of the admissions fee, because there really isn't much else to do, there. The zoo itself is littered with popcorn, much of which lands on the ground because many of the animals are fenced in farther than the average child can throw. (There are some funnels and chutes to aid in popcorn delivery outside specific enclosures, but not zoo-wide.) Speaking of children, it is best to avoid this place if you have a child that will need to be wheeled in a carriage. The grounds are unpaved, rocky and sandy; you will end up carrying your child throughout the visit because your carriage will not roll unless you've fitted it with tank treads. Outside food and drinks are also prohibited, so wave goodbye to the carefully stocked bag of treats you brought to keep the kids content. They WILL stop you at the door if you try to disregard this rule. All in all, I'm not sure who this zoo is FOR. Young children are clearly not planned for in the design of this place, and adults can knock a visit out in half an hour, which makes the entry fee, very reasonable for a larger experience, seem a bit steep. Maybe a fun visit if you're an adult looking to read some heartwarming stories about animal rescues, but look elsewhere if you're planning a family trip.

Mike Steele

A lot of cool animals here, and it’s really good that all these animals were rescued and have a new lease on life.

Min Oh

Cool spot to check out animals. Not too many selections but it qas a good experience!

Nick Valentine

I take my grandson there every year. He loves chasing the geese that run freeley throughout the park and seeing and feeding animals he might never had the chance to see in his life time.

Gloria Canales McCabe

Such a great experience for my toddler! He loved feeding the animals popcorn.

Crypto Rypto

It was fun... the kids liked the geese running around free. They can be kind of pushy at times while feeding.

Kathryn Buer

This place is so sweet and so much fun for the kids. What a great mission!

William Hill

All of the animals here are rescue animals and it's nice to see they have a forever home where they're safe.

John Wentworth

Richard Greene

Great people all about saving the animals..

Jay Paradore

Clean relaxxing park aith a great selection pf animals i support their mission

kimberly Vazquez

This is a perfect place for a few hours , plus it runs on donations . Parking is along the main Road with a small hike to the main grounds which I wasn’t aware they had a small limited parking as well. Once I was online to get in admission was around 6-8$ while paying you can purchase popcorn for the Animals to feed along the way . As you stroll you are able to see reptiles through a walkway , turtles, owls, monkeys, Peacocks, lion ,tigers and a Bear ( Oh my) deer and an array of other animals. Overall it was a very family friendly atmosphere and kept clean for the most part . I would recommend .

Izola Fix

Perfect for younger children. Close up experience is a thrill for them.

fortnite Reaper

Cool place I'll be coming back for sure

Irene Zygmund

Love Popcorn Zoo.......I would go every weekend if I could

Frank Capasso

One of my favorite things to do when I'm on vacation I love the popcorn zoo feel bad when you read what the poor animals went through before getting to the zoo.

Lori Smith

The zoo is nothing fancy, but Military gets in free and adult admission was only $7.00. There is a lot of shade and you can buy popcorn and peanuts to feed the animals. The kids enjoyed feeding the animals. I enjoyed reading the Rescue stories about each animal.

travis barney

Nice zoo/rescue. You can buy popcorn and peanuts to feed the animals. Good selection of animals. Well planned layout. Peacocks roaming around. Cool tigers lions and bears. The price is much more reasonable compared to other zoos you can access from central new jersey.

Mary fanelli

Popcorn zoo is a beautiful animal sanctuary for exotic and farm animals. It takes about an hour to an hr and a half to visit all the animals currently enhabiting the grounds. The ducks will follow you around trying to greedily have all the popcorn for themselves. They're pretty adorable. The animals seem healthy and happy and have excellent care. A great place to see everyday and exotic animals and read their stories. It's generally inexpensive and a fun trip for anyone. Being vegan I love that they take in farm animals as well. All animals deserve love. They also have an adoption center for more domesticated animals. Will definitely make this part of my annual tradition.

Red Marcus

Great local zoo. Lots of peacocks riding the grounds and very child friendly. Went with my 2 year old niece and she had a blast. Will definitely be back

Stuart Grasso

Is there a Waze relatively very inexpensive for family and runs on donations nice fur a central New Jersey location for a zoo

Jonny RoBato

Good place for rescued animals.

david tice

BOB GRADIO

It's a wonderful place, especially for families. The animals are well taken care of!

bob k

Great place to see people take care of all kinds of rescue animals!!

Josh Leone

Phenomenal zoo. Everything was close by, do not have to walk large distances. Animals are within 5 feet from you. Many zoo's do not have tigers. This zoo had 6 tigers lions monkeys, baboons and bears. Great time and very affordable. The animals loved the popcorn they have out to feed them.

Rachel Horger

This was our first visit. We came as a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 small children. We only paid for the oldest, is 3. The others were under 3 so they were free. They take in a lot of animals that have nowhere to go and at many of the exhibits, they share their story of how the animal came to be part of the family. They offer popcorn at admission for an extra charge which you can feed to the animals throughout the exhibits. Beware of the geese who have made themselves at home. One attacked our 3 year old. In hindsight it was funny, and she's no worse for wear but it was terrifying for a 3 year old.

shaya pita

This was a zoo. They have animals at this new. This was a great place to go with the family. They offer you popcorn when you come in the popcorn does not taste good. It is for the Animals to eat. Apparently you are supposed to feed the animals the popcorn I cannot understand how this can be good for them but I was assured by the staff that it is OK. The animals were basically napping most of the day but as I read on the Internet that's what most animals mostly due. Over all we had a great experience and was really glad to see the lions and Tigers and bears

Dakota Binner

The place seemed rundown and the pens were small. Not wheelchair accessible.

Max TheFishGuy

Great place to visit! Has on site shelter with animals for adoption.

Frank N

Great place for kids, it's a cool zoo worth checking out.

Robert Long

Adorable animals... I swear they act so hungry! Makes you want to buy all the boxes

reasonable entry fee. you can purchase popcorn and peanuts to feed the animals. to name a few we were able to see pigs, goats, bears, deer, peacocks, lions, and bengal tiger. it's nice to know that these animals have a place to live out their lives in peace.

Gayle Carta

The Vet Dr Nalven is great she is always friendly and helpful

Lori Sladic-Olsen

Love this place. It's a cute little zoo where you can feed the animals popcorn and peanuts.

Paul Fraser

Nice little zoo with an interesting mix of animals. Many of which you can feed pop on and peanuts which they can sell you when you pay for admission. My eight yr old loved it. We will visit again.

Kimberly Measure

Great non profit place for people who love animals. There's a zoo to visit and also an adoption center for domestic pets! I dropped off donations today.

kelly h

always supported popcorn. brought many animals to wildlife rehabs. just called this place about a mouse with a broken leg (mouse owner and lover myself) wanted to seek advice for humane treatment and pretty much got laughed at for caring about a mouse. seems a lil off for a place who says every life matters. i guess they just wanted snake food.

Christopher Phillips

Love this zoo and the meaning behind it. Just wish they had more than one admission clerk to check people in. We waited 45 mins to get in!

Rebekah Rarr

We have come to this zoo several times and we love it! It is always clean and the staff are always so friendly. It's fun feeding the animals popcorn!

veronica moniello

I brought a rescued turtle to the park as Popcorn zoo said he was not s native to NJ and I could not release him where he was rescued from. Popcorn zoo was the only place that was responsive and willing to take him in. While dropping him off I noticed that all of the other animals seemed healthy and we adapted. The place was clean. The staff at the Humane society section was not the friendliest but they were not unkind. They may have been a bit overwhelmed at the time as it seemed very busy. Honestly as long as they treat the animals well, which it seemed as though they did, then that is what matters!!!

Tom K.

Not a top notch modern zoo. Don't expect that. It is a place for rescued animals more or less. At this time they have tigers, lions, several different simians, some farm animals and lots of geese, chickens, swans and peacocks. The walking path is sand and they DO have at least 1 balloon tire "wheelchair." Friendly staff. $7 adults and I believe seniors or children under 11 are like $3 or $4. Nice way to kill 2 hours. Recommended if you love animals.

Patricia Gajewski

It was wonderful there. They reserved the tables for the birthday party. I love that all of the monies collected there is used for the animal rescue!

anthony valentine

My nephew loves this place. Great place to bring kids of all ages. And very reasonably priced.

Gaylynn Runowicz

The real meaning of caring..

Nicole Sorrentino

Such a wonderful place! We spent about 2 hours walking around to see all the animals. My family enjoyed feeding the animals popcorn and peanuts! I enjoyed reading the stories about the animals. We will visit again next year when we are back in NJ.

Wolf

Great local zoo, exotic animals and friendly staff. Children will love it.

Herb Celler

Very well run place , Great people. John Bergman is a major asset a realAAA+++

Jordan Barth

Such a great place! Prices aren't bad and there are plenty of animals to see and feed! Highly recommend

Doug Scheb

Small inexpensive zoo, you get real close to the animals and feeding them is lots of fun.

Michelle Oaster

The zoo is an incredible place. The animals have all been rescued from unfit or incapable to properly provide care situations. Each animal's name and story is right at their habitat. It's a great size so as not get overwhelmed, plenty of shade and benches. Wonderful place doing amazing things! This is Caesar

Linda Kelvy

Had a great time at popcorn zoo sky loved the turtles

Jenna Paris

Amazing place. Cute and the perfect size to take small children, you will never loose them there. Also what they do for those animals is really great. One more thing price is fair 2 tickets a box of popcorn and a bag a peanuts was less than $20 so if you are on a budget and want a few hours to kill it's the place to go.

Janice Schenck

My adult daughter and I took a ride today to check out the cats for adoption. Decided to also walk the zoo. Not crowded for a Saturday. Plenty of different species of animals and entry price was quite reasonable. Would definitely go again.

Deborah New

Love this place! It's a great place to go with the family.

Vanessa Marion

Great place to visit please support the small zoos by visiting and donating, these animals are rescued and many of the big zoos do not want them they have special needs that can only be accommodated by a small zoo

Kayla McCann

I love popcorn Park zoo sanctuary

Paula Wojcik

Popcorn Park might be on the aging side of zoos, but it's more of an animal rescue and that's the beautiful part of it. All of Popcorn Park's residents were rescued from situations where they were in danger, and being at this zoo gives them a safe home where they can stay in peace. That being said, you will see more farm and common animals than exotics here- but there are plenty of interesting animals to look at. From goats, to monkeys, to tigers, there's something for everyone. The park has not changed really in many years so it is a little run down. Some of the exhibits are empty because the previous animals passed away. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, because it means that in the event of an exotic animal being found in dangerous conditions, popcorn park may have the space to take it in and rehabilitate. At popcorn park, you can buy popcorn to feed to the animals for 3-5$. There are always wild peacocks, geese, and ducks wandering around that will gladly eat popcorn as well. Entry is extremely reasonably priced and the cost goes towards care of the animals. If you enjoy the Park's residents, there is the possibility of sponsoring them for a monthly fee that gets you updates and pictures of certain animals. Additionally, there is an animal shelter on site with plenty of dogs, cats, and other small animals. Parking is free but fills up fast on the weekends.

Jeffrey Tech

This is not just a zoo. These animals are here because they have been rescued from various unsuitable environments. Lions, tigers, bobcats, monkeys, bears and many more animals are housed and cared for here. It's a great place to take the family and introduce the kids to both wildlife and domestic animals. It's called Popcorn Park Zoo because one can purchase popcorn and feed it to many of the animals.

Robert Beischer

Great place, supports a very worthy cause. No, it's not the Bronx Zoo, but it's a lot closer at a fraction of the cost. Kids get to feed most of the animals. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Cindy Layton

Best place on earth for folks who LOVE interacting with & observing all types of rescued critters! Their rescue work & staff are AMAZING! PS. If you are looking to adopt a pet, check out their facility! Dogs! Cats! Small pets!

tanya hernandez

My grandchildren an I had so much fun feeding the animals there today

Orlando Mansur, Jr.

An interesting zoo. Small and not much to see.

Benjamin Regez

Nice zoo, it's focus is mainly on helping endangered animals and take care of them. They have a nice variety of animals, also lions, tigers and mountain lions. Not too big tough.

Greg Merritt

The park is not open till 5pm. They close the gates at 4:15pm. They will then not only turn you away, but they will do so quite rudely. We were willing to pay the $7 just to walk around for 30 minutes, but they had no interest. If the doors close at 4:15pm they should tell people before they drive all the way to the zoo to find out the bad news.

Amanda Sacks

We love the popcorn zoo. It is a great little zoo for all ages!

scott johnson

Love this zoo. It's a don't miss for children

Margaret Ulis

I was there for the vet that is associated with popcorn park. I've been to the zoo before and enjoyed it. Great for children of all ages.

Pete Weinman

It's a little run down but we had a good afternoon. Worth the trip from Staten Island.

Carol Brazil

I love this place!! Took my Grandchildren ages 6 and 7. Last time I was here was 1998 with my daughters!!

j. ram

Nice and small zoo with plenty of animals to see. The ground however needs to be leveled as many tree roots petrude from the ground causing a tripping hazard. Overall a good zoo to spend a couple of hours admiring the wildlife...

Anton Samoylovich

Small private zoo. Great family place.

Dynesha Wiggins

GREAT experience, the tour guide had a backstory for all the animals and they looked cared for. 4 stars because they have to fix the steps by the monkey exhibit. i fell :(
