Even if you only care slightly for your pet, please do not take him/her to Noah's Ark. Apparently my family and I waited too long to book a kennel for our family vacation and this was one of two remaining places in our area. Big mistake taking my dog there! She came back injured and cut. Her bed, a steel frame kuranda, came back covered in urine, feces and blood. My dog would never defecate on her own bed. Owner didn't even know what chew toys belonged to my dog, apparently she was never given them. Please do yourself and pet a favor and find somewhere else.

This place is awesome, Chris is very nice and friendly , he is very good with kids too , gives everyone a chance to pet or hold animals and very patient if you wanna take picture . Animals there is just very cute , you will see weird animals and if you like animals you will definitely enjoy your time there , also kids will love this . Expect to spend 1.30 to 2.0 hours there and you have to schedule a tour before , it's only be appointment. Donation $10 is required . I definitely recommend this place

My neighbor booked a birthday tour on a Sunday. I wasn’t able to attend but my 8 year old came home so happy and declared Noah’s Park Retreat his most favorite. With supervision he was able to hold a fennec Fox, wallaby, chinchilla, kikajou, and pet many other exotic animals as well as farm animals. The pictures of their time there look nothing short of pure joy for all the kids. Will definitely go back for a family visit.

Noah's Park Retreat in Goshen NY was wonderful!!!! Chris not only told stories about how they received the animals also about each individual animal. The children got to hold the small animals and were told how to care for them and what they liked to eat. We got to feed the horses, a donkey and pigs. It was a wonderful adventure and everyone was sorry when the tour ended. Thank you for a educational and enjoyable time. Again thank you

One of the best places we been in a long time! Chris was absolutely amazing. You can truly tell they care for their animals. All the animals were super clean and friendly. My 2 year old LOVED IT. My husband and I loved it even more. Can’t wait to come back again.

I rated 3 stars as a courtesy since I can only assume based on the reviews that the experience would have been worth it. Happy to explain below. My family and I were looking for something local to do, and when looking for Petting Zoos this was the first to pop up. Right there on Google it says OPEN, closed at 6pm. Even goes as far as to say that 1pm on Tuesdays is not busy and a good time to visit. So we drove there and saw the sign, followed the statues to the top where the animals were kept. We saw two ladies, but had no idea where to park. We got to the top, stopped the car and looked around. At this point we were discussing if we should just come another time because no one was in sight and it was drizzling a bit. Finally we see the lady's come back around, one was in her robe or nightgown (whatever it was) talking to the other, pointing at us. She started to throw her hands in the air seeming frustrated. I drove up and rolled the windows down. I started to say sorry, we weren't sure where to park, and before I could finish the sentence she says "uh yea it's definitely by appointment only". I apologized and mentioned what we saw on Google and we got a "Yea, it's right on the website". The sentences alone, you can tell are rude and condescending. But to clarify, she clearly was annoyed and had an attitude. My wife and I are both adults, and it was just honestly unnecessary. We apologized and drove off. So this clearly has happened before (showing up without an appointment) based on the interaction. I would recommend updating the Google page that shows you as Open, if you aren't open to the public. I also wouldn't have cared at all if the lady didn't act like we did something terrible. If she nicely told us we needed an appointment, I wouldn't be writing this. Again I rated 3 stars because I see other great experiences. I'm sure the son is wonderful and it's a shame we didnt get to meet him. I hope others are treated respectfully moving forward.

I am not someone who is easily impressed. I rarely leave reviews. Chris at Noah's Park Retreat provided an amazing, interesting and educational experience for my daughter's 4th birthday. The children and adults were able to get up close to many unique creatures. Chris was patient, kind, and light-hearted with the whole group. He made sure everyone got a chance to see, pet or hold each animal. We loved it! I highly recommend visiting Noah's Park retreat! We will definitely be back!
