Lovely park with an animal sanctuary full of goats, chickens, and peacocks. Summer time there are plenty of group barbeques. There are also tennis courts but you should arrive early for a spot. Overall this was a personal favorite for a walk when I lived nearby

The place is nice ... multiple parks to have a outing for more than 100 people each ... multiple barbegue stations in each park ... we had our annual gettlgether of our club there and we played a lot of outdoor games ... overall a good nice place to hangout.

A bit tricky to get to, you have to pull into Home Depot, then go around the building to the back of the parking lot. Plenty of parking, port-a-johns. We went there to watch our son play soccer. The field was cut nicely but someone forgot to weed wack around and under neath the bleachers.

i love this park! my fam and i spent lots of walking and playing sports there! almost every weekday morning i went there for walking and some workouts! the restrooms clean and theres park worker from monday to friday! they really taking good care of this park especially the grass and all the fields! there's soccer field football field! hockey field and tennis court and basketball court! easy to access from rt 27 and 10 minutes from rounte 1 s or n! great park

This is a great park with plenty to do. Lots of space for BBQ's and there is shade to hide out from the sun in the summer time. Pretty sure they still have animals to see. Great place to take smaller child to see and feed goats, chickens and a horse. (Haven't been in awhile so not sure what they have now) I don't recall paying for parking or anything like that. Check it out.

This is a great park. I used to go there as a kid and then take my nephews as an adult. They have a few playground areas and they have a huge amount of animals. A horse (Katey) which has probably been replaced several times, but the kids don't realize that, goats, rabbits, pigs, ducks, chickens, even a beautiful peacock. We have skipped rocks in the creek and walked on the trails in the woods. We have watched baseball games and soccer games. We've gone to parties here and picnics. We used to play basketball and tennis there. They have changed the layout for safety reasons. We have walked around the circle and even roller skated. This is a great park. Always feel safe here.

Me till park is just a beautiful place to either go for a walk or a picnic with your family. It's always clean and freshly landscaped. There are lots of tables to eat at, th ed are grills if that's part of your plan, there a playground for younger kids, and a small zoo with a horse, just a lovely family friendly park, but you have to see it to believe it!!

It was nice we had a picnic here for work and we played games like corn hole and the really big jenga game we also had catered food from a deli that made great burgers and hot dogs we hide an area with picnic tables in which we could set and we were also close to the baseball field for a game of kickball it was a good place they got a permit for

Love this place as it has a huge number of options for my son to enjoy, right from a Vast Play Ground to Multiple Play Areas. What makes it worth a visit is the Italian Ice sold near the Play Area, love it the most.

My daughter has great memories from this place. It has a small zoo with a horse (Katie), peacocks, ducks, goats, a hog, bunnies, turkey and few chickens. My 3 year old loves it. The park also has two large play areas which my daughter is obsessed with. Great place to hang out.

I love this exceptionally peaceful and beautiful park. I have been going there for years with my family and friends. I never experienced or witnessed any incidents and I rarely see any police officers or police vehicles. It is one of the bigger parks in the Woodbridge area. It has a small zoo. I think I recall seeing goats, chickens or hens. Baseball field, basketball court, soccer field, tennis court, a walking trail, a kiddie play area. There are tables for picnic and barbecue. I can see it is also a great place to organize different types of events. There is also a lot of different seating areas. Restrooms where more than decent. It is well kept. It is pet friendly. I have been walking my two dogs for a couple of years now. I feel it is a complete park. The thing that I may not know if they host any sort of concerts. It may not be the case due to surrounding houses around certain sides of the park.

Beautiful Park right beside the busy Route 27. Not too isolated and not too crowded. The park has nice and tree-canopied walking and bike trails, reasonably flat 0.6 miles jogging loop, 4 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, soccer fields and the list goes on. Plenty of things to do and pretty family-friendly. Great location to enjoy your summer barbeque parties with picnic groves on both sides of the park. But, what wins the heart is the well equipped play area for kids of all ages and tiny pet zoo with peacocks. What I like the most about Merrill Park is that unlike other parks, the proximity of this park to the road and residential neighborhood gives it a safe and lively feeling. Hope you enjoy your visit...

This park is huge and what i meant by huge is its extremely enormous. Gigantic ! It has kids play areas and not just one but too many kids play areas with wooden structures, swings, slides, climbing frames, trails and so on. What i notices is that its more commercialized as unlike other parks i could see vendors here selling icecreams n stuff. There are multiple picnic spots which is great. The parking space is quite big too and during weekends this place is super crowded.

I always love that park and the farm is why what we went there to visit but, they changed the farm so much and the animals are all in separate cages now and some of the animals are more aggressive, I even watched a duck almost get murdered by a bunch of the other ducks, but I'm so glad it was ok.

I've been coming here for 15 years.. I love this park..it's also a peaceful place ... Merrill park is my childhood. And, with the recent renovations and redesign, it has become a very attractive little spot in town. There's baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, picnic areas, creeks, animal sanctuary, etc etc etc. There's so much to do here and it's always so lively. Definitely a good picnic spot. Oh and be careful about the peacocks. They're very....arrogant.

This park is one of my favorites. It very well kept. The sector that we go to the most is the children's play area. It's a safe enclosed area. The kids always have a good time. You can have cookouts here in either by permit or in one of their open sections. Parking is good and always available.
