We booked the grove 2 in this park for my sons 6th bday and i cudnt be happier. Theres a nice and big pirate ship shaped play ground close to grove 2, and car parking space nearby, a petting zoo and a big water fountain for taking pictures just across the parking and the grove itself comes with garbage disposal bins, a grill, water fountain and restrooms nearby. We carried our decoration stuff, food, etc and had the big minion theme bday party there. All my guests were pleasantly surprised. The booking could be done easily, the office for middlesex county parks is in johnson park itself

This park is the best. My daughter and I love to go and feed the animals carrots and walk around. Their is a nice playground and walking trails. And it’s all FREE.

Beautiful park in Piscataway New Jersey with scenic views of New Brunswick. Lots of open areas and activity spaces including kids playgrounds, picnic areas, and soccer fields. Also there is a bunch of animals here in a fenced in area.

Very clean and safe. They close parts of the park when the river overflows. I've seen lots of wildlife - Bald Eagles, Comorants, Deer, and Ducks and Geese to name a few. Besides the great river view, historical bulidings, and zoo, there's lots of Pokéstops for those who play Pokémon Go. And the Pokéstops close at 5pm.

Expansive park along Raritan River. Small zoo, couple of artificial ponds frequented by ducks and herons, tennis courts, playgrounds, few picnic tables, soccer field. Plenty of trees, spacious parking lots, easy access from Route 18. Good destination for any type of outdoor activity - whether it's running, playing soccer or tennis, or just taking an easy stroll along many pathways.

Use to come here as a kid. The animal zoo was always my fave and then getting icies(water ice) from the snack hut by the play ground. Love coming here when ever I'm in town.

Biiiggg park. Big fields. Some local soccer tournaments held here. Has a tennis court. Lots of parking spaces. Has restrooms. Can have a party in groves. Groves are locations with tables, benches and barbecue grills. Some groves require payment and reservations. Some are first come first reserve basis. With this park, one can enjoy hiking, running and biking. Some water reservoirs in the area that are fed by the Raritan river (?) especially when it's high tide. There decks on these reservoirs. Farm animals are a big attractions for kids here. The animals are behind chain link fence and can be fed with carrots, vegetables etc brought by oneself. Or can purchase feeds here. 2 playgrounds with soft landings.
