I brought my 2 year old son here on Sunday around 1pm. He loved it. Free parking is a plus. Everything is an additional cost.
Expensive, need more cleaning and bugs spray
Nice in the city farm fun for the family
Lots of fun for small children. They have a petting zoo, pony ride, hayride and a pumpkin patch.
Amazing place for kids and family's
Great place to take a child
I went there today with my daughter in her school trip. The workers on the farm aren't very friendly.
The place is amazing
Friendly staff and animals we loved it
Queens county farm. Great place to spend your time with kids, friends and even when your kid is adult. Petting zoo, hay rides, apple picking/buying..
Went here for pumpkin picking. Had a GREAT time. Plenty to do.
Great place to take the family and children.
I went to Green Meadow Farm with my son's school and as soon as we arrived I was sickened by how animals where treated! They use animals for sole entertainment with total disregard to their safety or wellbeing. A lot of the guides simply have no compassion toward animals, otherwise, I can't explain why would they allow 20-25 five years olds go into pen where chicken, pigs, goats are located and let them ran around, chase the animals, and in some instances witnessed by me, even kicking poor chickens. I had to intervene and tell something to the guide but he didn't seem to care. Overall, I was disgusted by my visit and would not recommend this farm to anyone who at least distantly cares about animals.
My son had a school trip here for pumpkin picking. It was fun, staff was nice. They had a decent amount of animals for children to touch, also a pony ride :) I was very pleased
My grandson really enjoyed his visit to Green Meadows Farm. The staff was very friendly and interactive. It's kinda small but children 2 to 5 would really enjoy it. The children are allowed to touch the animals and the hayride is something all ages would definitely enjoy.
We love the farm
Very Nice!
My grands really loved the hay ride, playing on tractors, and in corn box. Worth while putting.
The Farm is such a great place to bring your kids. There are so many new features that I have noticed since the last time I visited.
Was a fun day there. Good for kids to see and feed the animals. Didn't know they charged to get in but my Grandson and Niece loved it.
Great for kids
It was a great place to take kids. Because of the season, it was a little overcrowded and less organized than I remember from past years
I love this place. BUT the festival rides are too too expensive. My favorite is the petting zoo.
Good place for the kids, but something expensive
Nasty workers. Poor facilities
Kids will love it.
It's a nice family outing!
Amazing but so crowded!!!! And parents dont seem to watch there children.
Workers were rude and rush kids and parents
Nice farm where employees seem to really engage with animals. Many animals for one to see and our children loved it. Entry fee is about $8 but you are given romaine lettuce to feed the animals. We went on Saturday and it was way too crowded. There are two lines; one for customers paying cash and another for customers paying with credit cards. Took us about 40 minutes to get to the front as there is only 1 person collecting payment. This farm needs to get that in order because it’ll definitely deter customers.
The corn maze was so much fun. FYI...have cash for the petting animals and extra food.
Very organized. Animals are well treated. Children got to experience with many different kind of farm animals like: sheeps , caw, pigs, goats , chicken, ponies. At the end you got to pick a pumpkin.
My class had a lot of fun at Greem Meadows Farm. However, it was very crowded and the lines were very long for the pony ride and the hay ride. We did not end up doing either. But there was plenty more to do. Fun times for all!
Great Place Reasonably Priced. The ONLY issue is... It Opens at 10am but EVERYTHING starts at 11AM
Went there on a school trip , it's ok for what it is I mean sea world it's not but then again You get what you pay for . Some of the staff could use a few classes in customer service but over all it's an ok experience, Kids will enjoy it .
This is ridiculous. Just one person to collect the credit card payments. People have been in line for over an hour. Kids getting bored!! Very disappointed.
I brought my 2 year old son here on Sunday around 1pm. He loved it. Free parking is a plus. Everything is an additional cost.
fun place to go on weekends with friends/family with small kids. Older kids might not appreciate it, unless maybe they're in college and here for the experience with their own friends. I was here for pumpkin picking in October. They have a nice pumpklin patch, and a corn maize (maze) that was fun.
The native American show is so worth going
Very nice staff. Kids had fun touching and feeding the animals.
The kids love it
My wife and her school have visited there many times for many years. She’s always held you in very high regards. Does my good friend Margaret Miller still work there? She’s from Australia and is by far one of the best persons I’ve ever met.
Wonderful experience for children
Soooooo~nice place for kids~~
The stuff are so rude and not friendly. This lady that was working today grabbed the pumpkin from my sons hand and made him crying. And yelling at the kids. Unacceptable vary disappointed
I was took my 2 little girls visit this place two years ago. I still can remember how rude the stuff was . When my girls ridding the pony I just stand inside the gate just wanna took a picture like everyone did . The stuff there wasn't appeared when people all around the gate took pics. But when I took the pic the man came to me and rush me out. I told him why u just do this to me! Unbelievable! I can't forget this bad experience and I will never ever visit again.
It's nice u get to pet the animals
Great field trip experience, especially during the cultural festival in the Spring.
Very relaxing. My 4 years old loved it
The staff is super friendly, once you are about to enter you are greeted with a smile, I paid $12 for myself and my son a bunch of lettuce to feed the goats, sheeps, pigs and whichever other animal wants to eat. They have humongous tractors (probably my sons favorite thing),he also did the pony ride which he loved ($4) for one ride, we walked around the farm and at last we went on a hayride, I had a great experience and I highly recommend it!
Save your time and money and go somewhere else! No one talks to each other and they are nasty! We were told $9 and we could pay the day of yet when we got there they said no and we had to put $10 so the teachers had to pay the difference. Most of the workers are not kid friendly and look like they have no desire to be there. I will not be booking a trip with them ever again!
Interesting place to visit with the whole family.
Amazing
It was so fun!!!!
Very clean, staff kind and making sure animals weren’t stressed. Animals all seemed quite happy, with entry fee you are given a stack of fresh romaine lettuce to feed the animals. Appreciate that rather than the typical junky grain you’re often given to feed animals! Were able to see piglets feeding, alpacas, chickens, goats, cows, calves. Will definitely return!
I love it everytime we go.
The place is ok. The hayride is short Some of the staff was nice but some were really rude and had major attitude. On the pony ride max weight is 75lbs. But then they told our class could not get on because they were 3rd graders. Yet not one are close to the weight limit on the signs. There were kids on ponies that looked like 5th graders and definetly over the weight limit. I pointed at least 10 kids that did not match the criteria. So none of our students could get on. There was no signage saying that limitation at all It wasn't about me but the kids that was disappointment for them. Do not buy cups there either they charge $1 for an empty cup when the hit chocolate is $1 highway robbery.
Great place to bring the kids. Great for field trips with the class
Very nice place for families well kept
Very dangerous farm ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌
Nice experience for the whole family.
Farm life in the middle of the City. Hands on petting zoo complete with cows, sherp, goats, pigs, chicken, ravlbbits and more
Good place very friendly & fun
Great place to take the kids!!
My son goes here every year with his school... He loves this place. The hay ride, feeding the animals and pony ride.
Love coming here as a family. Kids always love the animals and the County farm next door.
Great place to take the kids. I took my students for a second time this year and they loved petting and feeding the animals. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the farm. Even on a rainy day, WE HAD A BLAST!! Looking forward to visiting again next school year!
A good place to take your children
Attended a School trip, awesome outing
Very clean, staff kind and making sure animals weren’t stressed. Animals all seemed quite happy, with entry fee you are given a stack of fresh romaine lettuce to feed the animals. Appreciate that rather than the typical junky grain you’re often given to feed animals! Were able to see piglets feeding, alpacas, chickens, goats, cows, calves. Will definitely return!
Best farm in the tri state
Good for kids
Awesome Place for Kids and Adults
Went to Easter program at Aviator. Poorly run, uninteresting activities and additional costs for everything !
Nice place to spend the day with young kids. Petting zoo, hay ride, the Colonial Farm and more. Can spend the whole day for little money. Try it.
Its a great farm. They have pony rides, hay rides; now even more physical games like the tractors and the sliding rollers the rabbit hole chute. However I feel that the rolling pin slide should be monitored at the top by a staff member or at the bottom to allow a few at a time in order not to cause choas at the top.
Looks beautiful haven't been in only passed
It was a nice place
Great family place. My 5 yr old milked a cow. She had a great time riding the pony and the hay ride.
Fun place but very expensive and very rude workers, you have to pay for everything extra
Bring the kids
The kids had a blast.
Great place to bring little kids. My three year old keeps on asking to come here but it’s just so far for us. Great introduction to real farm animals. There is even an opportunity for a pony ride for a little bit extra.
Such a wonderful place for families to spend the day with kids!!! Organized, clean, friendly, and so much to do!
I enjoyed myself with my son; but sadly I must say the animals looked really bad mildnutrison they looked depressed & very sad in the eyes my son noticed & asked " mommy y they look sad"? So that must change..... also staff was amazing except for one man who had to hit my son & yell @ him that was not acceptable @ ALL....
My kids had a lot of fun there
Enjoyed my time there with my son AMD hi entire class
Great place for families
Great Family Fun!!!
This was a fun experience for my wife and myself. It was cheap to get some hay and feed the animals and they had a cute little shop with some vegetables and other gifts. Everything is located close together so it's not difficult to get around. The staff was super friendly and the animals seem happy and well kept. We haven't had a chance to go to any of the special events but it seems like they have things that are fun for the whole family.
Nice farm, great for the kids
I went as a chaperone on a school trip today and the majority of the staff members at Green Meadows Farm were very RUDE and mean to the children. One even yelled at me, an adult!
Nice place for family to visit
Lots of fun things to do for the whole family
Awesome for kids.
Great experience for the kids, but the parking staff really sucks, they are very hostile and rude for no reason, and apparently can't help you when you ask for help, they definitely need a new staff for the parking area
A little too pricey. Have to pay for literally everything there $5 pony rides, $8 each for activities and petting/feeding animals. Hayrides $8. Set up is nice.
No ATM card machines so bring cash. They don't tell you that.
Came here on class trip- for all there cover fees they should consider investing in an area with table and chairs to eat rather than the dirty benches they have now.
I find the long island game farm to be a better petting zoo but the little ones enjoyed themselves not much for preteens and up though.
Amazing place for kids to spent half a day.
Great place but no guide for group.
It was great. They've added play equipment, a food court, a maze and a pumpkin patch
Great place to bring the kids. The petting farm, the reptiles and the hay ride all fun for the children.
Great place. Affordable and well organized . We had a blast.
I've been coming here for the last 6 years and it seems that with each year passing the farm is more crowded and more chaotic. The staff is less helpful and/or knowledgeable of the events and the cost of everything has gone up. I'm disappointed and won't be returning next year.
We love this place. We take my grandson here for his Birthday last year and this year again. He loves coming here. But, Saturday we got there late and he was upset because we didn't get to the petting zoo. I told him we take him at end of the month so that he can have time to go to the petting zoo and corn maze and other activities that's going st the farm. My oldest daughter was upset that she didn't get her apple cider and I didn't get the hot apple cider but we will when come back at the end of the month. Thank you for the farm and making it wonderful for families like mine to come and enjoy themselves. My second was pregnant with her daughter and couldn't get on the hayride but she had her daughter with her this year and was able to ride the hayride with her baby girl and they were very happy. Thank you again for this farm.
I grew up a few blocks away! How many people can say they live in New York City and has a farm down the block???? Hahaha love this place. It's a escape in a few seconds! Oh and say Hello to my Friend!
The farmers market/farm stand is the reason I navigate through the mobs of parents and children. Always great produce, girls are super helpful and friendly. Love getting my organic produce for the week here!
My child and other children I know contracted ringworm on seperate visits

Great place for kids... Just the old man who runs the mini horses tried to tell me my son was to big to ride.. Needles to say i changed his mind n my son had a great day.. Fix yur staff
Went on a trip with my youngest child's class, we had a blast. Touched chickens, goats, llamas, it was so much fun. My daughter and her friends loved it , pony rides and hayride were the best. but other then that all the wonderful people that work there, they are kind, helpful and very sweet to all.
Staff there were very nice.
This farm has the best corn maze!
It's great for the when family and for kids to know where the meat and food comes from I took my grandson there he loved it even though he is only 3 but he knew the animals just by looking at them
Good place for kids to get acquainted with the animals that they can pet and feed. They hayrides are bumpy but fun. They also have bouncy castles which is timed but enough time for kids to have fun without tiring themselves. Overall a very nice place to go once and explore with the kids.
My daughter first kindergarten trip, we had fun and especially the pony ride.
Nice place to take the kids.
It's ok not the best farm
Came here with my children they had an awesome time
Not enough animals
Loved the animals
Disappointed. Unless you have kids under 10 yrs old, not worth a visit.
They was no treat or treat hunt and they advertised that they will be
Things change this year Oct 2018. Now you have to pay for everything separate. Petting zoo $8 per person, $4 dollars for hayride per person. $4 pony ride. Bring lots of cash if you have a big family. Parking still free for now. Last time I come.
Great place for the kids
Great for kids and families, they have a petting zoo, hay rides and depending on the season, food vendors and pumpkin patch.
The place super big with not many things to do.
Great farm. I love it . Thanks..
It's a beautiful place. Found it on a school trip for my 2nd grader will look forward to bringing my family next year.
Very interactive for young children. Pony rides included.
Really cute place. Love their famers market and store. Will keep coming back.
Good family fun, however be prepared to pay for almost every activity with the exception of walking in/around and parking
Over priced. Not many animals. Too much construction.
I love this place I got to do different things there like ponying riding and hay ride and I got to feed and pet different animals
Never knew about this place. Very nice
Great place for kids
Good for small kids. Cute maze.
Great for family time
Very good for camp or family trip. However, staff is not proffecional and you should plan your tour youself . Otherwise they will take you around and it is lacking logic the way they do it. You can milk the cow, touch pig, chicken, ext do not foget about hay ride. Very fun ))
My daughter went here on school trip, she looooved it!1!
Great for the kids. Lots of hands on which is always fun.
Great place. Nice grounds. Staff is courteous and kids had fun.
Nicole did a great job
Took my 5 year old and other family members there. It was a joy for them. I on the other hand enjoyed the atmosphere and the relaxation.
Our Tour guide Syndi was amazing. If you are lucky enough to get her , you will not regret it . I recommend this place to all families looking to learn and have fun together.
Excellent place to be with your kids. Don't think, just go and enjoy
A Beautiful experience with many animals to see, apple and pumpkin picking, a maze, a hayride.
Simple but great for kids.. im from Ohio and am I'm always a fan of supporting FFA and related events..
Great place to see farm animals and rural lifestyle just outside of the "mad" Manhattan environment. Ideal change of pace with the family to relax and disconnect from your electronic slave masters for a few hours. We went for a wedding ceremony and enjoyed a festive meal. Btw, parking is nice, safe and convenient...hint, hint!
The corn maze is awesome. The rest of the stuff is overpriced for what it is.
Great place for kids... Just the old man who runs the mini horses tried to tell me my son was to big to ride.. Needles to say i changed his mind n my son had a great day.. Fix yur staff
My first time attending to the Grand Mid Summer Pow Wow, it was well organized and the park workers were friendly and on control...
It a fun place to take your young children
Everything is great here, I don't know a little pricey this year. $15 per and$10 for the corn maze, $6 for the petting zoo. We had a great time, bridge and tunnel brewery had a very good stout beer.
Good place for school trips, I bet we still couldn't cover enough in two hour trip.
Rude workers... a very poor experience for children going on a trip
It’s very beautiful farm to visit and actually with kids you can spend at least more than 3 hours for petting zoo animals are very cute and hay ride is super awesome i guess adult also enjoy hay ride very well corn maze is also awesome and it would take 1 hour in maze and most important thing if you buy corn maze ticket from eventbrite or other online options you will get 5 $ off on each ticket I didn’t know that before so i pay whole price
Interesting petting zoo. The zoo is inside the Queens County Farm Museum grounds and is not visible from little neck pkwy, though the whole complex is. The kids have farm animals, including llamas, and non-working farm equipment to enjoy. Much of the area is shaded by trees so it great for the adults watching them. The complex also has fruits and vegetables for sale periodically throughout the year.
My childrens loveit
Nice for small children
Great class trip. Only 4 stars because I liked it better when they assigned a guide to your class.
Not too bad for Queens.
Excellent place to take the children for a new learning experience. The animals are very well taken care of and very comfortable with the presence of children
My daughter loved it
It a very lovely place
Cute, but wish it's not so crowded and have more things to do.
Good for the kids to have hands on experience with the animals. We enjoyed ourselves.
Free parking and $8 per person to get in ... hayride was included with our Sunday ticket... my 15 month old enjoy himself.. staff was super friendly inside and constantly cleaning up after the animals. lots of shade to keep cool. Great place to kids burn off some energy...
Really fun kids probably under 5. The variety of animals is not as good as it used to be. The staff is really friendly but the prices went up significantly since my last visit 4 years ago. You get some lettuce to feed the animals but its definitely not enough. The entrance fee was $8 for all older than 12months. The pony and hay ride were $4/person. Again, not terrible but was better. The one plus is you get a few pumpkin for every ticket.
2 1/2 loved it! he especially loved climbing the tractors and pretending to drive them. He also very much enjoyed the hayride! we will be going back soon.
My kids enjoy going to the farm for the aninals and the nice staff
Very small over crowded
Fun place ,staff was great and informative, things were organized and made for a smooth visit, lots of activities to do all for one price of the ticket , hay ride, petting feeding animals, pumpkin picking etc.
Nice place, extremely crowded during fall festival. Staff is very friendly and they do a nice job accommodating to all who enter. Pumpkins are a reasonable price.
Fun for toddler's
Love it for the kids
Nice place to take kids for free
Love this place, definitely great for children
Horrible experience! They get a negative 5 for me - that's because we got denied every single event there and the workers had attitudes . But the only good thing was that I got my money back - never going there again
Terrible admission experience. After waiting half an hour on line I was told that they don't accept credit cards. I had to all the way back to an atm machine. So I was charged 3 dollars for that. At least Post a sign cash only
Phenomenal excellent wonderful amazing fantastic marvelous engaging--
When will peolpe realize these animals, no matter how "well kept" they seem, are miserable? Forced to walk in circles all day with screaming kids around them and music blasting in their ears? All for entertainment. What a sad spectacle. They are at Alley Pond Park right now and it's an awful sight. Poor animals.
A GOOD PLACE TO JUST ENJOY WITH THE KIDS
My god daughter enjoy it, just as much as I did.
Spacious parking. Friendly staff. Cute animals you can feed and pet. Highly recommended.
Cute animals : ) the kids really enjoyed it
This year the staff is disorganized
This is a great place.. especially in the fall for pumpkins...must visit cow
Closed due to snow/weather.
Fun for little kids. Just wish if they could make each area more organized
Nice
Nice place to take your kids and learn about animals.
Good for kids
Amazing experience
Excellent place to be near the wildlife for a great moment.
Free parking and $8 per person to get in ... hayride was included with our Sunday ticket... my 15 month old enjoy himself.. staff was super friendly inside and constantly cleaning up after the animals. lots of shade to keep cool. Great place to kids burn off some energy...
Hteat family gun with animals.
Very nice place for family outings. Lot's of things to see and do. Your kids will love feeding the farm animals even i loved it. Lol They also have some rides. There's also pumpkin picking. The staff is very nice.
Depending on the season, the city kids get a chance to pick a pumpkin or Christmas tree, ride a pony, feed goats, llamas or bunnies, hold a chicken, see a mother pig nursing piglets or sheep getting a haircut, milk a cow or pet all the different kinds of farm animals. Hay rides and educational sessions are also available as well as holiday activities. Admission fee is well worth the experience
Great place for family outing with the kids
Employees were very knowledgeable
Great place to bring your kids
Very friendly people and fun for the kids
Took my 4 year old and she had a really great time. I had fun too, lots to do, hayride was super fun and the staff are super helpful and nice. Will go again next year
We had a great time on the farm pumpkins are a bit pricey but an overall great day with the kids!
I guess they were a bit understaffed, because there was a long wait for all of the Hayrides and when asked there wasn't much info given
Great place for the kids
Very nice for children
Awesome~ So much fun.
I never been there in my life but for the first time im going with my 6th grade class. And im sure its going to be awesome
Super fun for my toddler. Wish the food vendors accepted cards but I definitely forgot to take it cash beforehand, my fault.
I love it it’s a good trip for my class there going November 8th there going here so it’s nice
Great time and great price!
This farm was an okay experience, but from what was witnessed, is 100% exploitation of animals (meaning nothing less than 100 %). Not exactly affordable to get in. Most animals were actually chained. Many tours going on at once also made it somewhat chaotic (some chaos was expected). Enjoyed a 20min talent show more than anything (yoga guy was a total noodle, chinese street talent), and the actual time with my daughter's class. Left feeling very bad for the resident animals. They did not appear to be humanely kept.
Petting zoo within NYC city limits... No onsite parking. Not a wide variety of animals.
My son had a school trip here today and from what I was told from his teacher it was a horrible experience. She never encountered such rude employees who don't have the patience or work ethic to be around people and children at that! My son is a special needs child as well as his other classmates and the tour guide was rude and impatient with the teacher and students. What kind of tour guide rushes a class full of children, special needs at that!!! What kind of experience could these kids have if their being rushed and spoken to like animals!!!!! I hope the owners and managements read this review as well as other bad reviews and get their staff in check because if you can't be around people or children then it ain't the JOB FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!
Great farm for young kids.
Expensive
Lots to do! Fresh veggies, bakery
School trip for the kids and it was a cool experience.
There you be in direct contact whit animals and breath a clean air.
Some of the staff have a nasty attitudes.
Super super nice. You pay $4.00 for a pony ride $4 to enter and give good to the animals. They have pigs, chickens, hamsters , sheep, huge turtles and little turtles, rabbits and more animals but I can't remember all lol. They also have a little park for kids to play. There is also a hay ride the last one is at 5:00pm. Our experience was super nice. My 2year old loved it and asks to go there every weekend.
2 1/2 loved it! he especially loved climbing the tractors and pretending to drive them. He also very much enjoyed the hayride! we will be going back soon.
The queens farm is always nice to go to. However every little thing you have to pay a price. The roasted corn that used to be about 2.00 is 4.00 now. I understand that prices go up. But thts a farm and the farm grows there own crop so the prices for the corn needs to drop to 3.00 or 2.50 instead of 4 dollars
Tracy was a great guide! She was safe and kind to the animals. The alpacas even kissed her! This is an experience your children will never forget
Waste of time. Overly priced pumpkin. They charge for the petting zoo, corn maze & hay ride are all overly priced. What a shame.
My son enjoyed every moment of it!!
