Chris Barbehenn

Great place, bigger then I was expecting

Dennis F

Nice small zoo. They have some great kids activities like feeding giraffes and parrots at certain times. They have several hit animals such as black bears, lions, and snow leopards. Worth visiting.

Francesco Trunzo

Perfect size to take your little adventurers for an afternoon visit and accomplish the while park before dinner. Fair admissions price, friendly staff, awesome gift shop.

Danielle Westermann

Such a great little zoo. It's perfect for young children. My three-year-old had a blast feeding the tortoises, giraffe, goats, and deer! There is a small snack shack (cash only) and a cute gift shop (cards + cash).

We Able Marketing

I love this place. I was able to feed the goats and my kids loved to be around the goats. We didn’t want to leave. And the black panthers, lions... just beautiful!!!

Patricia Martinez

Excellent wholesome fun! Having the opportunity to be so up close to all the animals was thrilling!

metroidfan220

Friendly staff, and lots to see in a reasonable walking distance. Baby carriers would be better than strollers - paths are not paved and some terrain is very rocky. Be sure to call ahead to confirm when tours and feedings are happening if you're interested in those so you can best plan your arrival time.

Jennifer Geyer

Such a wonderful experience. The animals were so close

Mike Hayes

Great time with my little girl.

Samantha Sabel

Been coming here since I was a child. Now my children enjoy it. The exhibits have expanded and the animals are well cared for.

cat cities

Epic experience. Animals are stunning.

Brendan Staples

This one of best zoo's I have been to The animals are up close where u see them with no difficulty how great they look I highly recommend this zoo anyone who to enjoy seeing a great zoo

Janet Doeckmann

Not much there. Difficult walking

J Straub

Nice zoo in the woods, bring proper foot gear if rains. Shade made it feel comfortable on pretty warm day. Clean enclosures and animals looked cared for. A few enclosures looked a little small but I'm not an expert. The staff was friendly and seemed like you were up close to the variety of animals. Feeding Jethro was a kid pleaser and we spent 2+ hours.

Olivia Tobiasz

I love coming here! The staff are great and very helpful and the animals are well kept and are friendly towards people, especially handsome Jethro the giraffe.

Herzfeld Family Vacay

Fun and easy space to enjoy for kids.

Nick Olivo

Friendly zoo staff, tree covered premises makes for pleasant walk throughout, diverse selection of animals

mag 226

Nice out of the way place. Not a real big place but nice day trip

Megan Borger

Nice little zoo. Some of it looked like it could have been maintained a little bit better

Heather Como

We loved this zoo! Such a great variety of animals, as well as staff that you can tell care for them. Through our visit, we saw multiple members checking in on the animals, cleaning their areas and giving them attention. We took advantage of the experience to feed the giraffe and it was awesome.

Deborah Celuck

My family visited this adorable zoo in the country this summer. They offer free parking and allow food to be brought in (although they ask you to be responsible with not littering, especially plastics that can harm their animals). We were all impressed with the cleanliness & size of enclosures as well large variety of animals they have, especially some ones we've never even seen or heard of. The giraffe and bird feedings were so much fun (they cost extra but are reasonably priced at $5). The staff was very helpful offering encouragement to coax the children that were nervous. They also offer a dinosaur section where kids can do a dinosaur dig & play in sandboxes with fossil bases among other games with lots of cute photo opportunities. We plan on making a return trip to this zoo an annual event in the years to come.

sharon gallagher

First time there and loved it! Very clean.Nice gift shop also.

Lisa Roberts

My grandson loves it here.

Mike

Wonderful time with the family! They have lots of different animals including lions, a tiger, and a bear. Oh my! They have times where you can feed the giraffe and parrots. The giraffe feeding was great, all the kids were very excited and so thrilled when it took the carrot from their hands. The giraffe just uses its tongue so there's no chance of being bit, which was my main concern.

Daniel Emerson

Great assortment of animals. Snack bar was reasonably priced. My family had a great time.

Jeff Mandell

Do you like giraffes? If so, then Claws 'n' Paws supports you and will allow you to hang out and feed a giraffe! If not, then you need to reflect why you came to look at these reviews in the first place; claws 'n' paws is not for you.

Megabux haldy

Great variety of animals. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The only downfall is some of the enclosures are pretty small.

Marie Murphy

We enjoyed this very much. Traveling from Tn to Ma, with 2 grandsons ages 6 and 11. Very interesting for both boys. Employees very nice, was able to watch them feeding some of the animals. Price was good also. Would go again if near area....

Michael Katona

Awesome place! Rely surprised about how many animals and fun experiences were there

Amanda Socash

My husband and I took our daughter here, having visited other local animal parks before, and this was by far the worst. We've been to Lake Tobias and Lehigh Zoo which blow this place out of the water as far as cleanliness, space and overall good well being for the animals. For $18.50 pp x how many people visit per year it's evident and critical for this place to invest more into the care for animals, pair them up and much build larger homes for each of them, along with giving them enrichment activities . Physically, the animals seem well fed. Emotionally, many seemed to either pace in distress, sleep due to boredom or seem depressed because they were in a tiny weed ridden cage, alone. The physical upkeep and shape of the outdoor park is about 30 years behind. Whoever's running it really needs zoology 101 courses. For example, Jethrow the giraffe is constantly bending down to eat (being fed carrots by visitors) . Their natural way is grazing from high branches. Bending down all day every day is unnatural and will cause injuries longterm. The tiger was all by itself in a very small cage, as was the walaby. Socially it's just wrong. This place should donate the animals to sanctuaries where they can live out their in peace. Most of the workers were college age kids and seemed to be so passionate for the animals... it's just that their employers have it all wrong and don't know how to run it. We left feeling so upset for these poor animals who are clearly not happy living like this. Needs to be shut down!!!

Elizabeth Lynott

Please dont waste your money and fund this so called zoo. They abuse and neglect these animals make them live in deplorable conditions in which they are unhealthy lonely and depressed. This business should be shut down. These owners only care about profit yet swear they love and care for these animals...huh what a joke

Alyssa Lipyanic

I was pleasantly surprised by this park. It isn't super big but has alot more animals than you would expect and a wide variety. There aren't a whole lot of food options at the food court but the food that is available isn't expensive. They also have a nice variety of activities throughout the day. We spent about 4 hours at the park and enjoyed ourselves alot.

Shane Stetz

What a great zoo tucked in the woods. Animals are happy and, healthy. Staff is super nice, educated and, dedicated to the animals. Don't pass this gem up!

Dave Miller

Pretty awesome collection of animals but the beavers are not happy.

Louinator59

This was by far the best do I've ever been to . The animals were very calm and well adjusted which is hard to find at most private zoos. This place is a must see.

Melissa Marshall

Got to see more animals up close than I did at the expensive city zoo. You feel like you’re in their habitat, which is fun. Feeding the giraffes was cool.

Jennifer DeLorenzo

Such a great zoo. So much fun.

Ryan Boiardi

This place was great. Good variety of animals in the amount of space. The animals looked healthy. I also liked how close you can get to them.

David Slocum

This was a great zoo. It was a good size but small enough to complete in a couple of hours. The best part was that it had lots of opportunities to enter the animal areas and feed them.

Steve Meade

Animals were in their houses and walking on rocky trails was very uncomfortable and tough to navigate strollers. .

Mary Bauer

Claws and Paws is a wonderful place for families, friends and school trips. So many wonderful animals to see, some to feed and many paths to stroll along in the beautiful area full of many plants and colorful trees.

tom r

Neat place for everyone. You get up and close with the animals

Jeremy Lee

remember going here when I was young and my kids love it now. If your looking for a fantastic starter zoo for young children or to go to a small laid back zoo set in the forest yet backed with a half a days fun and adventures then this is the perfect place. It's always clean and it's priced just right. Even the souvenir shop has the perfect little gift to accommodate any budget.

Priscilla Serrano

Very cute place..Clean, shady. Would def go back.

Joni Bliler

Great little park. Nice variety of animals. Several times a day you have the opportunity to pay $3.00 to feed certain animals like the giraffe. It is in a wooded area with some hills and the walking path is just dirt and gravel. There are larger rocks and trees roots that make walking or pushing a stroller difficult. There is s snack stand with decent prices and a very nice gift shop. Well worth the stop. Allow about 2 hours to see everything.

Sarah Stancavage

Beautiful zoo just wish the inclosures we're bigger for alot of the animals

Edward Salmonson

Very clean park ... Awesome staff.. loved all the exhibits very affordable for families!!

Diane Ruston

Had a fun day with my granddaughters

Paul Felter

Very surprised. Well worth it.

Matthew Thomas

Cool place. Nice spot to take the kids and walk around for a little while. Not to expensive, and i love animals.

Scott Van Baulen

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of animals that were there.. I would have gave it five stars but it was a little expensive for one adult and a child

Cheri Carpenter

If you love nature and animals, this is definitely NOT the place to go. The animals either look stressed, anxious, bored, obese, lonely, or drugged. The camel was frothing at the mouth and just standing there swaying back and forth so nobody would go over to visit it. This place is heartbreaking.

joe consiglio

Love it shaded by trees even hotter days cooler our 4th time there

softgeoff

Been here many times since I was a kid. It's a very nice place with many animals to observe. My favorite are the wolves!

Robin Smith

First time visiting the park and I was not disappointed. Had a wonderful time and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice to see a large variety of animals in the park and that they were also being well cared for. They also give military discount.

caitlyn Juroviesky

It's a really beautiful park full of active and exotic animals. My one issue is that they were pacing a lot, which usually means that the animal needs some sort of mental stimulation.

christopher battaglia

Great place to bring the kids!

Alexandra Thomas

Friendly staff. Animals looked in great shape and were close enough to really see. Can't pick a favorite but hearing a lion's roar in person was breathtaking. Thank you!

Philip George

Small zoo with an impressive collection of animals from around the world. I saw animals I never knew existed! The highlight was to see a giraffe--an animal I find hard to find in zoos these days. I was at the Smithsonian last summer but didn't find a giraffe there, so it was a nice surprise.

Margaret Perez

This is a lovely zoo to bring your family to. The staff are pretty friendly. Bathroom ware clean. They have a place Ware you can bring your own meals from home or grab a snack thier. My family has been to this zoo multiple times we love it.

Kelly Cassagne

My family and I had an amazing time. Staff was very friendly. The animals was amazing walking through the whole park it was incredible. My kids had fun feeding the Giraffe and the birds. You can also pet deers, goats and turtles. Very fun time. Pack a lunch because they only serve hotdogs pretzels or nachos n cheese. The overall experience was fantastic. Great place to bring the family. Get there at 11 so you can see everything and do all the fun activities. Bring extra cash for the souvenir shop fe the kiddos. Feeding the animals is 3 bucks each. Which is reasonable. Free parking and ticket admission also good price.

norbkowa

We loved this place. Found this place by accident and didnt expect much of it but we were pleasantly surprised. It has a lot of animals in a wild park surrounding. You get to feed a giraffe and parrots. We went to Turtle Back Zoo couple times before and that a nice and big zoo in Nj but we enjoyed this one more. Kids loved it.

ikciV D

Bigger then what I expected. Got to feed a giraffe!

izzy ortiz

Great time with central school district. Kids loved the place.

Lynn Shupp

I hadn't been there in years and it has definitely grown for the good. They have a lot of animals to see and you can book a private tour that allows you to feed some of the animals. Also on the tpur you get a lot of great info. Even if ypu don't take the private tour you can pay extra to feed some of the animals. Woods surrounds you instead of concrete, which is really nice. We were lucky enough to see the baby Jaguars. They were super cute. Pricing is affordable and definitely worth the money. Give it a try!

Ashleigh Kuester

I enjoyed it alot, however alot of the animals seems hungry and were walking back and forth. It couldve just been the time of day though. They all looked well cared for and the pens were nice and neat!

Bill Woodruff

The park is small and habits are as well, but the animals are really well taken care of. One of the senior keepers was able to pet the lion as seen in the photos I posted. Gift shop is pretty large which you enter in exit through. Feeding tokens over available in the gift shop for $3 a piece. The tokens are available in the gift shop which you can put on your credit card... But as soon as you get the park it is cash only. The kids had a great time feeding the goats and the giraffe. Definitely worth the money and time will spent!

Francis Matacchiera

Great place for the whole Family!! And Great staff

Lisa Gagnon

Very very worth it

Patrice Arminio

I really have no idea how this place has a 4+☆review. The cages are way too small for the animals and the cages were dirty. The animals looked sad. I SAW WITH MY OWN EYES a keeper spray a snow leopard with water from a jet stream hose to wake it up for people to be able to see it. It was so disturbing to watch, and the leopard was extremely angry and agitated after. From a New Yorker who frequents the bronx zoo, Please seek some advice/ help from them and see what a real zoo looks like. The giraffe feeding was the only thrilling part about this place.

Oscar Aponte

As small as it is it's a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone in the family . My daughter loves it and so do I .

Biks Videography

Very nice place and Animals were very supportive. its has very fee animals but very beautiful place. staffs were very helpful. I enjoyed a lot.

Barbara O'Brien

NiCe park but hard to navigate in wheelchairs

Rough Duck

Great little day trip. Feed the birds and giraffe. Cool animals

Sarah Emerson

Well maintained and fun zoo! One of my favorite zoos to visit!

Jared Tennant

I came here as a kid and now took my son back probably 30 years later. Happy to see that a private zoo can make it this long. It's a nice place and it brought back a ton of memories of how excited I was when I went when I was about 6.

Anthony W.

Fun, kinda not the best enclosures for some of the animals

Elton Link

Nice little zoo.

Danny Moore

It's a great Zoo a lot of animals to see and plenty of shade. Great for the family

Henry Kinsey

It was a really fun experience. The prarie dogs were my fav. They were so cute and funny. The one was climbing the side. The dino digging i recommend for kids.

Hellen Moustakas

Went with three children various ages and they all had a great time!!! The staff was amazing and the people in the gift shop were terrific!! We will definitely love to go back

Lona Ashley

nice , small size, nice assortment of critters, for small area. was 18.50 for adults to get in. but I felt like it was good to feed the animals.

S Daly

Pretty interesting place to visit; had some animals I had either never seen before or had not seen in a long time. They have giraffe and tortoise feedings for kids/adults alike for only $3 which is unique and fun!

Jovan Salmon

Good for friends family and groups to chill and kick back

Bobby Baker

Definitely a fun little place for the kids. A little pricey for what it is.

Katie Slutter

Such a great experience! I've lived in this area of Pennsylvania for over 20 years and never been here before. Til yesterday I decided to take my 5 year old. We had the best time ! Such cute and friendly different animals . We will definitely be back!

Chris Devereux

Awesome zoo and great price. You can pet goats and deer. Also have times you can feed some of the animals

Michael Harding

Great place for families. The shows are very educational.

Raffy Lopez

love this place....had so much fun with the family.......the staff was awesome.....and my friend henry the lion its amazing

Dawn Fry

Hands down the best zoo I have ever been to. Animals are very well taken care of and seem very happy. They were all very active unlike at other zoos where they look miserable and are sleeping. I highly recommend the private tour - seriously it was one of the best experiences of my life! It’s not much more on top of general admission and it’s more than worth it!! I got to feed (and get kissed) by a lovely giraffe named Jethro (after NCIS Gibbs) as well as other animals such as a bear, patas monkeys, tortoises, and more. The staff and owner Vince were extremely friendly and very informative. I can’t wait to visit again! Thank you!

Matthew Franklin

A must visit place for anyone who likes animals! It beats out some big name zoos!

Martin Takac

We (and mostly kids 7y 2y) enjoyed it a lot. Animals seems really happy in this zoo. The ability to feed turtles, birds, girafe, .... Are exciting for kids. The bufet is not much, but we brought our own food which can be enjoyed in picknic area.

David Jenkins

We moved to the area earlier this year and wanted to take our kids to a zoo. We we're not disappointed at all by this zoo. It's even better than Lehigh valley zoo. We went during the kids fiesta day and it was great for the kids will visit again.

Michael Rusty Culhane

We go here every year with the family. Worth the 2 and half hour drive. Each year they get new animals and take great care of them.

John Bonner

Small, self guided zoo though tours are available. Many animals, takes about 2 or 3 hours to complete. Shows \ feedings every 15 minutes. Plenty of events. Small animal petting\feeding area open the whole day. The kids dinosaur dig was a hit here. Easy parking, convenient soda machines and handwash areas placed trough out. Large eating area with a small snack shack.

Lucas Brobst

Eh being here made me feel sad for everyone involved with the facility, the consumer, the owners, the workers, and more importantly the animals. The facility is overgrown with weeds and they do the absolute minimum when it comes to landscaping here. The workers do what they can but that is about it. The animals except for the black bear and the wolves all seem pretty beat up and run down. The facility doesn't make their cages or pens like their natural habitat by any means. Also this whole park is not stroller friendly by any means so take that into account.

Bekkie Watson

We had an amazing time at Claws n Paws! The kids truly loved the variety of animals and how active most of them were. The prices are steep, so if you're looking for something inexpensive this is not the place to go. However it was worth the expense for a day trip on our vacation and we easily spent hours here and didn't run out of things to do. We did plan to have lunch here shortly after arriving, and don't suggest lunch here to anyone else. Their menu consists of hit dogs, pretzels, and nachos, or ice cream bars. They have no other options, so unfortunately there was nothing 90% of my family would eat. We left with miserable, hungry children. Next time we will play much better for this!

Thomas Dagion

What a great place for the kids. They had such a great time.

Robert Pickett

Fantastic! Amazing! And that beautiful giraffe

Bernardo J

A reasonably priced zoo with some of the best animal habitats. My family and I are sitting at dinner discussing what animals were just a great surprise. I will say the paths are choppy so strollers and especially wheel chairs beware.

Dolly Denniston

Loved it! Wonderful variety of animals! A nice stroll in the woods as you look at the animals. Petting zoo!

Sherry Pace

Small enough to easily walk around, they allow you to bring in your own food, everyone was friendly and accommodating, great signage - and the best part? Two 11 week old jaguar cubs!!!! Love this place.

Helen Stevenson

My girls and I had a wonderful day at Claws and paws!! We took the tour and were able to feed the animals. My little one loved feeding the giraffe!! Highly recommend for a family road trip!!

Michael Eitzen

Nice zoo to visit with friends and family. Be sure to go on cool sunny days since all the animals seem to be very active. If it's too hot of a day animals tend to stay inside their shelters.

Erik Martens

Not your typical zoo. Gift shop needs some updating however

Tammy Washalski

Love this place! The habitats are immaculate and the animals are plump and healthy. You can see the handlers really care about the animals health and well being. We have been taking our kids for years and they have recently added new animals and events. Not crowded. A great way to spend a casual day.

Tanya Seerattan

I love supporting the community. I love having these local zoos in my area. These local areas expose my children to wild animals; without us traveling 3 and 4 hours away. This is not the first time I take my children here and this will not be the last. I hope the good people in these areas come out and support the zoo. I saw Lions, Leopards, and bears...oh my!

sam shah

Horrible place Animals was kept very Dirty. They were starving it was so depressing. I think this people is Abusing Animals. They are there to make money. I never seen worst zoo than this. Zoo smells Horrible I don’t think they ever gave a shower to Animals. I think state should get involved and close this zoo. West money and time.

Dmitriy Demidkin

Nice little zoo!!! A lot of fun for kids and parents

Christopher Tobiasz

Claws n paws is an amazing zoo. I've been coming every year while on vacation. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The animals are beautiful and interesting. I highly recommend coming here.

Cinthela Aguiar

After visiting this place, I Made a promise never to pay and encourage people to watch animals kept enclosed or in captivity or to continue the sad practice! Roamed the whole zoo, and just 3-4 animals moved. The rest all lay in their small smelly cages unhappy . It was a realy sad sight. Also apart from the $18 entrance fee, they charge a separate $3 if you want to feed the donkey/giraffe/goats,parrots. And incase you do wish to feed them, you get 3 slices of carrot for $3!!! The lions, panthers, bear, jackal lay stiff in their small cages (which i dont understand why? When there was so much space around the cages to build bigger cage and let the animals be animals, rather than restrict them to a small enclosed area!!) The zoo has a stink to it! And sooooo much free area-i dont know why they dont enlargen the cages and let the animlas move freely! I wouldn't recommend a visit!

Dylan Molinaro

Have been to all the zoo's around I have to say this place is fantastic. You get more bang for your buck here then you would with philly or bronx zoo. A must go for the kiddios!

Steven Lapriore

For the price the kids loved it Rocky so you need to wear sneaks and be extra careful where you're walking

Kate Gilroy

We love it here. The staff is great, it's cheap, very big, a lot of different animals and is clean too.

Mary Cafferky

We took our 6 year old granddaughter there and had a fantastic time. The park is clean, friendly, and well laid out. Highly recommend!

Devan Scott

I loved this place. It was so nice and so many different kind. I felt like a little kid being there and seeing everything. It doesnt feel like your typical zoo. The animals seemed to look more relaxed here. Staff was informative. Great experience

Tina Temple

Very nice. We had a wonderful time.

Elizabeth Marosi

Great place! My kids love it and so did we! Feeding the animals were so much fun and there's a lot of activities to do!

Christopher Maddocks

Had a lot of fun. Saw the sign driving home to NY and my wife and I decided to stop. Glad we did.

Jess Haley

My family and I had a wonderful experience here today. Feeding the giraffe and lorikeets was definitely my favorite highlight. The employees worked hard and were very kind, and I got to see just how much they do love their animals! However, if I'd have any complaint it would be the alligators enclosure. For two alligators as large as they have, I would imagine they would need a bigger pool and enclosure than what they're given. Some of the big cat enclosures seemed way too small as well, and the large snakes had very little enrichment and hiding places in their tanks. Sticks, leaves, grass, small blankets and covers would all do, to keep the snake much happier.

the watcher

Great place to bring your kids but I do not recommend bringing a stroller or anything with wheels because the Pats are rocky and filled with root systems of trees because it's in the woods. But that is probably the only negative. Nice little Woodland Zoo, my son always has a blast in the dino area.

Daniel Drumheller

Not expensive. Small but great way to spend a couple hours during the day! Wide variety of animals to see

dlagrua

One of the best and most interesting attractions in the Lake Wallenpaupack area. One of the few zoos that allows you to join in and feed the animals during feeding time. Great family fun and it's always cool here as the place is in a forest.

Matthew Kanaskie

This zoo is actually better than many of the larger, more well known zoos than I've been too. For a modest price and can get much closer to the animals than other zoos. Not to mention that the variety of animals exhibited in the zoo was much greater than I had anticipated. Well worth the visit!

Jonathan Bolanos

Very nice place. Many animals to see. And to interact with kids love it. Personally my favorite was the giraffe and be able to feed it. You can also feed tortoises the parrots goats and deer.

Gavin Davis

Excellent family day trip!! Well maintained and very friendly staff would definitely visit again

Zvi Berman

Great Zoo! Small but packed with many animals!

Mason Krochta

It was fun and Jethro is very cool. Also my beloved Amy loved the large cats!

Sirfussalots 12345

Really nice place! The staff was nice, the price was decent, and a huge variety of animals. My son loved the farm area where you can feed the goats and stuff. They also have a dinosaur exhibits where the kids can dig for bones. It did feel a bit too small space for the bigger animal but hopefully they have a backdoor to a bigger home.

Kim Heil

My husband and I visited this park last weekend. I would like to extend my view on this park. The animals are well taken care of and are housed in their own environment habitat areas, not cages. The animals have enough room to roam and play without feeling trapped. Everyone who goes to this park will be able to visibly enjoy the animals, their habitat and learn about them. The price of admission is very affordable. The staff were very attentive, pleasant and cared for these animals, as if they were their own family pets. The interactive feeding of the birds was fantastic. There were so many animals to see.. Families should really attend this park and experience the fun for themselves. 5 star rating is well deserved. Thank you Claws and Paws.

Janet Richey

Pretty impressive cross section of animals. Some exhibits are in better shape than others, and most could use a little sprucing up. Still, it is impressive for being a privately owned roadside zoo. And there's a great deal of educational value. You gotta go at least once.

Steven Hovis

My first time! Place was well-staffed and clean. It was busy when i was there, with multiple groups of children... Staff kept groups engaged and flowing. Feeding & Demonstration times were prompt - and staff were very friendly when teaching or interacting with public. I will definitely go back again!

Robin_ Playz _Gamez

What fun we had . Don't miss this one . We took a guided tour .... Well worth it . A wide selection of animals . Friendly and knowledgeable staff . Great gift shop . Something for everyone .

Nate Adams

A cool little animal park and one of the few attractions in the area. they have a decent selection of animals all which appear healthy. The enclosures are on the small side this may be a problem for people who are triggered by this type of thing. There big cats are particularly cool including their leopards, jaguars and Lions.

tia calkin

Pretty good considering it’s a “zoo”. Most of the enclosures looked good. Some ridiculously small. Staff were pretty busy taking care of them all and very kind

Helen Fauver

Wow the camel had foam Coming out of his mouth and the animals WERE DEPRESSED not recommended.. the poor camel needs to be moved to a good zoo

edwiin sUarz

Very nice and awesome zoo they even have lions and large cats also is super cheap (like $19) per person

Aryana

The animals are all so happy and active it's amazing! Best zoo like experience ever! Everyone that has said the animals look sad and underfed have clearly never been to the Bronx zoo. The animals here have way more personality and joy than any other zoo I've been to. This is my favorite zoo to visit because of all of the personality the animals have, you pay so much money for other zoos to just see animals sleep, here they're actually loving life and walking around and they're excited to see people, like heck one of the birds was giving my boyfriend and I a little show and was dancing and singing a song

Brandon Ulatowski

I'm not really a fan of zoos, but I have to say, for a small zoo, all the animals seemed to have plenty of space. And there were many workers constantly cleaning cages and their living spaces. Wear your hiking boots because the terrain is like a hiking trail. Strollers and wheelchairs were there, but were having a rough go at times. It's a small, and seemingly well cared for place.

Bob Eubank

A bit run down, but cool animals and feedings

James Davie

Outstanding and very personal Animal Park. Well worth your time.

Diane Yaddow

Great day in the park! Although it was hot and the animals were lazy.

Donna H.

Such a wonderful place to spend the day with your kids

Krystian Sz.

Great Place to visit with friend and family. Animals are very gorgeous!

heather sinkiewicz

Very exciting!! Way more than we expected!!!

Brittany Boiardi

Super cute zoo. It's perfectly sized for an afternoon and offers cool interactions with some of the animals.

Rachel Bechard

The staff is really nice and the animals are well taken care of. Cute gift shop!

brian g

Nice zoo would be perfect 5 but they are not handicap accessibile. Have to leave wife home for visit because no way push wheel chair. They really ahould think about making it easier for wheel chair people

Amado Carrasquillo

Small place takes about 45 min to walk around it but the animals are well taken care off and the different animal feeding encounters are awesome and above all very affordable ( I been in many zoos and can assure it). Is a very good place for your children to learn about the animals so I encourage all the parents out there that have small children afraid of some animals to take them here and expose them to the experience of feeding them. Is a good place to just walk around and enjoy the fresh air.

Megan Gagliano

Enjoyed our family visit here. Super hot day, but there was lots of shade.

Kayla Zimmerman

Feeding giraffe and lorrie birds was neat. Rest of animals small cages were questionable.

Amy Tuppakaka

Love going there , kids love seeing the animals and I do too!

Keith Rosario

Very impressive animal park. In a gorgous natural setting.

Small zoo with lots of animals! Clean and friendly environment, animals were all healthy and well fed... definitely worth the money! Just don't go after it rains because it gets muddy and always wear sneakers there are some uneven trails. Love this place and will definitely be back!

Amazing time at this zoo. It’s giant! If you love animals and enjoy the outdoors this spot is for you. You can interact with some animals and you are pretty close and safe next to them all. Every animal here is majestic and beautiful. Staff are very helpful and it’s just a onetime entrance fee! The gift shop inside is big enough to enjoy. Definitely a spot for a family vacation and enjoyment. Spent about 3-4 hours at this zoo!

Wasn't quite sure what to expect here and was so pleasantly surprised. A charming small / mid size zoo with an interesting collection of animals and very personable keepers.

We have taken the kids here a few times over the past 5 years. They love it. Cost of admission is reasonable and it is always a fun time. I would suggest bringing snacks and to plan somewhere to eat. Food selection is limited but that's fine, we go to see the animals. There is a BBQ joint not too far which is pretty good.

Antonina Vorobeychik

Amazing place! Definitely a lot to see. Kids will have fun seeing and feeding the animals.

This is a small zoo but very wide selection of animals. Lions, black panthers with 2 kittens, leopards (one is black), four snow leopards, black bear, white woolfs, cougar, porcupine American and African, giraffe that you can feed with hand for extra few bucks, monkeys, ponies, donkey, snakes, lynx, polar fox, fox, camel, and some more, I don't remember everything. Also you can pet for free sheeps, goats, and even deers there (feed them costs extra). I saw zookeeper playing with panther kittens. It was amazing. They are bigger than any adult cat but behave like little kittens. I definitely suggest anybody to visit this place.
