Don't make the mistake of being in a hurry when you plan to visit. Crane, especially this time of year through October is absolutely awesome. Each trail beckons to you, and just 5 more minutes becomes another hour. Spray for ticks, I have seen an increase in deer ticks, and your foolish not to. Lyme is not something to take lightly, and unfortunately you are not always taken seriously when you have symptoms. Maps are available from the 300 comittee for a small fee. Or just wander.
