Called two days ago to book a pony for party. No one returned the voice message I left...per the instructions I was prompted to leave. When I called this morning it was a no, they can’t do it before I even said what I needed! Extremely unprofessional!

Best place ever. The nicest family who go above and beyond to make sure everyone is having fun and learning!! Very sweet animals! For birthday parties they decorate the barn (heated in winter) so festively!! We visit this farm as often as we can. It is a very inexpensive way to spend a fun day out with family, see and pet some amazing animals, and leave having made some new friends!!

Great place for little kids. You can pet goats, we even got a chance to feed a baby goat from the bottle )))) and bubbles !

Last summer we had my granddaughter's 7th birthday party here. The guests included her 87 year old great-grandmother, a mom-to-be, and even a 6 month old. We all had a fantastic time! The barn was beautifully decorated when we arrived. The children had plenty of time to visit with the wide variety of animals. They also enjoyed playing the special party games. Each child received a long ride on a gentle pony. Everyone loved the fresh popcorn and the delicious home-made ice cream. There was plenty of shade and cool drinks were offered. We all were treated to a "wagon" ride around the property. The best part was talking with each friendly family member. This clean and welcoming farm is an ideal family destination!

CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! Brenda and her daughter, Cheyenne and their little helpers were fantastic hosts. We went for my niece’s 1st birthday and and the adults enjoyed the experience as much as she did. The younger helpers gave the tour, Cheyenne was knowledgeable about the animals and answered all our questions. At the end of our day, Brenda took us on a complimentary hayride with popcorn and water. The only thing they were missing was an bathroom and place to change the baby. Great place guys, we’ll definitely be back.

Carriage Shack Farm is my daughters’ favorite place to visit. It is run by an amazing family and there is always something new to see and explore. My kids love to learn about all of the animals that live at the farm - goats, sheep, alpacas, pigs, horses, and even a tortoise or two! Families can learn about farm life, blacksmithing, how to make rope, and enjoy a tractor drawn carriage ride around the property. The farm goes all out decorating for the holidays and you can’t help but enjoy their enthusiasm. Admission is very reasonably priced and they have the best homemade popcorn and cotton candy. Already looking forward to our next adventure!

The farm was great and the owners so friendly and informative about their animals. My 8 yr. old granddaughter completely enjoyed her day there, especially the tractor ride (where she made a friend), and the pony ride. We plan on returning and appreciate having such a wonderful petting farm in our community.

This is an adorable little farm, they let you touch all the animals (which is perfect for little ones!), my daughters had a blast. It was only 37 dollars for a family of four and that included two pony rides and two things of feed for the animals. They offer face painting, a ride around the farm, bubbles, pony rides and you can go in to the pen with the goats. We spent an hour and a half there and my daughters did not want to leave lol We will be back!

We just had this farm visit our preschool with bunnies and chicks. They were amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and the animals were well cared for. We have used other "traveling zoos" in the past and this one was by far our favorite. We will definitely be asking them to come back in the near future!

Went out for a day of fun, and found this gem of a place! Unbelievable prices, extraordinary hostility. Id give 10 stars if i could!

Ashley Bailey Guelfi

my honest opinion. I would NOT waste the money. The people are friendly but I wasn't happy with the way they cared for their animals. Lots of garbage around the place and really Yucky pens. They do have a small area to go in with some goats to pet them but otherwise everything else is fenced in. I feel like the family farm means well, but they really should fix up the place, get the animals to the vet and then reopen with a better image.

Today we had my 6 year olds party at Carriage Shack. From start to finish Brenda was A+. Fast and clear in responding to all of my questions. The party was perfect...staff was wonderful. All of my requests were accomdated. We were able to hang out on the grounds after the party wrapped up. No complaints -highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible, don't waste your money. Complete rip-off. Spent 10 Minutes and left disgusted.

There's nothing more amazing than a family sharing their farms to visitors and letting them see their farm lands. a short pony ride experience, chickens, an ox, ponies, truck ride, antique house, super good free ice cream and juices for the kids, turkeys, peacocks etc.... the kids loved it and so did we!! thank you for you warm welcome.

Went with my boyfriend for my birthday and we had a great time. The animals are well taken care of and the family that owns the farm Are extremely knowledgeable about farms and farm animals. We learned so much! They have a lot of animals there a lot To see and activities to do with the kids. Th wagon ride was very fun and the popcorn was so yummy! And I must say the family that owns this farm Wow! Very very nice people! We will definitely be back!

My family absolutely loved this farm. The price is excellent, location is convenient, and it is great for todders and young children. We will be returning to this farm again this summer. The family who owns it is very friendly and helpful as well. The kids loved the wagon ride with the popcorn they provided as well as the pony ride which is priced affordable too. Lots of different animals to see, feed, and touch! Thanks Carriage Shack Farm!

I would recommend every family visit this farm. Everyone is so nice and goes out of their way to accommodate all the visitors. The hay ride was fabulous, they even handed out popcorn and water to all riders. My granddaughter had her face painted and she looked fantastic. She even went on a horse ride. The automatic bubble machine filled the area with so many bubbles it was like being in a fantasy land . I can't say enough about this place, we will be returning for another visit and plan to visit on Easter, holloween and to have breakfast with Santa.

That's the cutest little farm I've ever seen around here. Very authentic. And those goats are just adorable!

We had a great experience at the Carriage Shack Farm. It is family operated and they were so very friendly and helpful. Being our first visit, they explained where things were and what we could see and do. Of course the animals were awesome. It was great to see, pet, and feed them. Keep in mind, especially if you read complaints about the animals appearance, that they are rescue animals. Each has their own story, I'm sure. We had a tractor drawn wagon ride, which the kids loved. They were even given water and popcorn, which was a treat for all. And let me add that they came to find us so we didn't miss out. That's a special touch. After that we were invited to do some rope making, and each child got to take their piece home. We brought a picnic lunch and they had tables set up under a canopy so we could sit and relax. It was a great day and we will be back.

What friendly, knowledgeable and hardworking family and staff. Lots of different animals to see. Definitely a fun visit.

It’s was AWFUL. Animals look beat up and depressed. The property was poorly maintained. Truly a sad experience. Not worth 7 cents forgot $7, I’m truly confused if people believe this is what a petting zoo/farm is supposed to look like?? Have family in farming states...this is NOT what a farm is supposed to look like. Also, would someone PLEASE brush the ponies!!!

Tonya Peterson

We hosted my son's 4th birthday here (tonight actually) and we were so pleased I couldn't wait to write a review. Kids that came were from 13 months to 7 years old and everyone (including the parents) enjoyed it. Kids participated in pony rides, wagon ride (with water and fresh popcorn) rope activity, and sand art. Their home made ice cream is amazing. Everyone raved about it. The barn was heated and fit a group of 20 with plenty of extra space. Employees were passionate about their work and it showed. Recommend 100%!

The animals looked sickly (sunken hipbones, chickens missing entire sections of feathers so you can see their skin) and lived in filthy conditions. Some of the animals seemed agitated and aggressive likely because the lack of food, clean water and the make shift pens/housing on less then ideal grounds. I understand this is a family run business but it was kinda sad to visit. I would not want my son to think that those conditions are acceptable for animals to live in. The hay ride was through a field of power lines.

This farm is the greatest place for both children and the elderly enjoyed it fully

I love the family who ran it. And I love the events they have throughout the year. I moved back to California and I really miss this place.

Jody Gagnon

I am so impressed by not only the laid back old time farm experience, but the family its run by. If you take the time and talk with them, you will learn most of the animals have been all rescue animals. Some people don't understand why an animal is in a cage, well if you ask, it has just been rescued and needs to be brought in slowly to the other animals so they can get used to each other, as well as for health issues. This is NOT abuse or mean... please just dont assume things, these people are doing a great job and are unbelievable with their animals. Thank you for your great facility and all you do for unwanted animals. I love just going to your farm when ever I can. YOUR EVENTS ARE WONDERFUL!!!

Such an amazing time! I found an event posted on facebook for their pumpkin fest. I had not heard about this farm before the facebook post. I decided this would be a nice new place to go with my family. This place is a wonderful family run farm. Wonderful staff with that southern hospitality feel. Everyone was kind and helpful! The event itself had pumpkins and decorating kits for the kids. Hay rides with popcorn and water. Rope making, bubbles, sand art, face painting, cotton candy, and a Halloween inflated walkthrough. That was just for the event! They have a wonderful variety of farm animals also! Chickens, roosters, rabbits, pigs, alpacas, horses, ponies, a large tortoise, pheasants, goats, a peacock, and the list goes on an on. The animals are very well cared for. I cannot wait to come back with my family again.

We went with family friends and the kids had a lot of fun. It's a nice, relaxing place that has a lot to do in a small space... carriage ride, horse ride, lots of animals to pet, a picnic area, AND they sell fresh eggs, which we bought! It was a perfect way to spend the morning. There were always a few people right nearby who work there, and they were all very friendly and seemed very dedicated to the animals. The animals themselves were very comfortable with people, and they have a funny ox who actually poses when he sees a phone coming out for a selfie!

We decided to have our son's birthday party here. It's a family crew and they are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Really good people. The tractor ride was fun and there is popcorn and little fairy houses for children to find along the way. The ice cream was to die for and they have the sweetest animals in the world too. Our whole family had a great time and I highly recommend it.
