This Zoo is included in the category of Animal park.
Took my handicapped step father today and it was absolutely amazing! He has a lot of trouble getting around even with his walker. Our guide was so sweet and patient with him. She moved at his pace and answered all of our questions. There was a large variety of reptiles and we were able to touch or hold lots of them. Our guide was very knowledgeable, the girl knew everything! They recently relocated, so the big gators weren't there yet. They did however give us free passes to come back after the big gators are moved. We will definitely be back with my mother and fiance. I cant give this place enough stars. It was a prefect day!
Great family outting
It was an experience.
Don't expect anything fancy, but you can hold an alligator.
We loved this place..despite the fact that they have the alligators, etc in pools due to them relocation soon to a new locations...they were able to show us all of their alligators and crocodiles snakes turtles etc. They are just so welcoming and friendly and had so much imformainfo on them animals..they let our children who feed the animals and even let us hold them.. it was just great. We are from San Antonio tx so idk if we'll ever get to come back to see them in their new location but I sure hope so...it was amazing to be able to interact this close to the animals. Thank you so much for the experience
Had a great visit and a great tour guide! If you like looking at and learning about alligators, this is the place for you! There was also a pond full of turtles, crocodiles, snakes, raccoons and a fox. Enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!
Will be great when alligators are there.
Went to old location when I was a kid with school field trips and family outings many times and always enjoyed it. Now I have a boy of my own and was excited to bring him. BAD IDEA.... New location does not have a single alligator!!!! The guide was ok in showing the few things there but no alligators. You are paying to see a few tortoise, a cockatoo, macaw , two emus a turkey ,snake, snapping turtles , 3 crocodiles and a Kamen! NO ALLIGATORS!!!! Hope they use my families admission wisely because we won't be back!
Excellent place of information. Tour guide is very friendly. Never seen gator before so it was awesome .
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. My grandson Jayson, was treated so special and they took they're time with him. He was a happy little man when we left.
My wife and I went here the 1st week of June and it was truly amazing! We have been on several swamp tours on our trips to NOLA and have never had the up close and personal experience that we had here. Tons of different animals and very friendly and knowledgeable guides. They were in the process of moving to a new location but they did not hesitate to do everything they could for us to enjoy our day. A must see if you visit NOLA!
Had a great time ! Bubba did a Great job ! Thank you all so much !
Awesome place!!! Bring the family!!! Had a great time!!!
I had a great time. The tour guides were fun and kept us laughing the entire time.
Fun stop on our way between Florida and Texas. We werent expecting to spend 3 hours there, but it was pretty neat to interact with the gators and see all the other animals.
Great was to see some wild life without taking a boat into the swamp. Cant wait to see once they finish the new facility.
Really enjoyed our tour with our guide, Bubba. Very informative and very highly recommended!!
Ummm they are closed
My grandson and I really enjoyed this place. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you!! We'll be back.
Top!
Lots of fun
Wide variety of animals to see. Tour guide informative and you can see he likes to share his knowledge of the animals. Seeing the interaction with alligators was cool. They are moving to a new location. I'll have to return to see it. Very kid and family friendly. Nephew says it was the best place ever.
Love this place
Loved it guides very knowledgeable
Love it always get my Gator meat from them
Very interesting and fun!

We stopped by Kliebert's on our way into New Orleans. We really enjoyed the visit and definitely will be back. They're in the middle of relocating and I'm interested in seeing how it all turns out.
Super friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable staff. Had an Android blast spending the afternoon with these guys!need Clearly care about the animals very much. Will be happy to go back and see their new facility when it's ready! Thanks again, T Mike!
Boy, i tell you what...this place is AMAZING. I ABSOLUTELY loved our 'guide', i believe her name was Jessica. On our way back to KC,MO from traveling around AL, MS & LA we felt bummed out, like we hadnt experienced much of the southern livin. I decided to type gator tours into google and we were 3 miles away and showed up at a perfect time to go on the LAST tour. My 2 yr old had a great time and so did i. Jessica (if thats your name) i thank you soo much, you made our trip.
Can't wait to go again
We got our 40 foot rv stuck pulling into the driveway and the employees/owners here went above and beyond to help us. Broke two of their ropes trying to tow us out with their truck, called us a tow truck, kept us company, and were so kind to us the whole time even though we were making a scene.
Very interesting and entertaining. 3 stars because they're In the middle of moving from the original location, so not finished yet. Call before you go.
Gross.
Web site says open sign says open drove 2000 miles to see this place when we arrived lights off and not a person around very disappointed not professional
Get up close and personal with all kinds of wildlife. And the staff are great too
Great little tour. Can't wait to go back after the new place is finished. The young lady that gave the tour was very knowledgeable and nice. (Sorry can't remember her name) She answered all my questions and hope she's there when I return. Everyone treated me well and were very respectful.
This place was amazing. The staff was incredible and funny. We came from houston and was down to visit family and came by the this place and it was well worth it. We will be back next year because a growing business. Thanks you all for a safe friendly environment for my family and i . Kids loved it. We had so much fun.
This was such an awesome place to visit. I would definitely recommend going!
All the pets were awesome
Horrible
It will be a great place once mike is done rebuilding it
Awesome tour. Family run. Very knowledgeable people. Kids loved it. Great price. This is a rustic farm experience. Don't expect a corporate amusement park experience.
Friendly staff, animals are so awesome! Knowledgeable staff.
Great place to get up and personal
Great time. My family loved it. The staff was knowledgeable and you could tell they really loved these animals.
Great place for family. Good prices and have different animals. Love it!
The guide was great and full of knowledge.
Loved the animals. Great staff!
It was amazing tour the people are very nice they know a lot about the animals they will answer any questions that you have they do not push you for time. All I have is great things to say about the place
Very knowledgeable tour guide.
Excellent tourand you get hands on with large alligators. Good for little kids too!
Great experience for the whole family!! You get to interact with the alligators and other animals
Pretty Dope experience! I'd love a job here if I lived closer :) To have seen all thies amazing animals in one place is a dream come true! Thanks for supporting Louisiana wild life!
Neat place to stop in as you travel.
Drove over an hour to get there only to be greeted by some lady who stated that they were closed for the day. The lady didn't even greet us when we came in. I approached her and said " Oh, I was wondering if someone was here." She stated " the power keeps going off so they are closing for the day...wait let me make sure." She came back and stated " yeah they're closed."No I'm so sorry we are closing early today just a kinda sucks to be you. My child cried for over a half an hour because he couldn't see the gators. I totally understand the power situation but after driving over an hour and having to watch the disappointment in your kids face it's just kinda nice if someone would have said....so sorry we have to close because of the power but we will be open tomorrow or something. Needless to say we won't be going back because who knows if they will be open or not.
Came for a tour and they did not have one. A wasted hour trip. Maybe they could update thier website.
They have quite a variety and are knowledgeable. They were transitioning to their new location when we visited so the creatures were cramped. Patricia is the best!
Well worth the trip.
Great Experience your guides are awesome will come back my boys will never forget it
It was awesome. Our tour guide was so sweet and funny
AWESOME EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD SHOULD GO.. SWAMP PEOPLE IS MY NUMBER 1 SHOW!! I'M SO HAPPY TO HAVE HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE WITH MY FAVORITE PEOPLE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!
Worth the trip, awesome people! We had a day camp and couldn't have asked for better hospitality! Loved it!
Can't say enough good things about the place and the crew that runs it!!!
Really cool place and I got to hold an alligator
Under construction but still and amazing experience
This is a mixed review. Went yesterday and no gators were there, so that was disappointing. They are the process of a move and I wish it had mentioned that on the website. The whole point of going to an alligator farm was to see gators. That being said we still did the tour. Our tour guide Bubba was very knowledgeable and friendly. We did get to see and touch, if you wanted too, the animals they did have. Everyone there was very friendly and even though no alligators we enjoyed our time there. They did give us free passes for the next visit so I thought that was a good. I do feel bad for any out of towners looking for gators and not seeing any....the future passes won't do them any good. So we loved it, but wish we have been informed in advance of the move and presently no gators. We can't wait to return when the new location is all set up.
Really nice place the guide Bubba was very friendly & knowledgeable about the animals on the property. They are currently expanding & all there animals aren't there yet. Even heard they will be getting alot more exotic animals. Unfortunately Big Mike wasn't there this time. He stays busy with calls from people that have unwanted gests some will get released back in the wild & some will live out the rest of there lives on the farm being cared for & loved by all the staff, family& visitors.
Great place to explore the alligAtors the seams but they don't have many alligAtors. Only babies
Great little tour. Can't wait to go back after the new place is finished. The young lady that gave the tour was very knowledgeable and nice. (Sorry can't remember her name) She answered all my questions and hope she's there when I return. Everyone treated me well and were very respectful.
Klieberts was incredible. We had a great time. The staff is very informative. They are all great people and take great care of the animals. The passion for what they do definitely shows and makes your experience even better. We had Carrie as a tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about the animals and very patient. We will definitely be going back!!!!
Great family atmosphere. Very up close and personal experience. Even with the renovation still in process they make it an enjoyable place to bring the family.
Had a wonderful time on the tour! I enjoyed seeing all the reptiles and birds! I saw a variety of Turtles, Gators, and snakes! The tour guides were quite knowledgeable and friendly. They explained thoroughly about the habitats and animals. It was a clean, safe, and professional tour. I can't wait to come back and see the place when they finish.
What an awesome place not just for the kids but adults as well, local or traveling, this place should be on your to see and do list! Our tour guide was such a conversationalist, he had amazing info just oozing out for every question imaginable, thanks to T Mike and the crew for the day that made our entire gulf coast trip. We'll be back!
Love taking my kids whenever we travel that way!
We did not take the tour, it was a little pricey and very hot out. We just wanted to show our 2 year old the animals but were told to exit the area because it was for tours. But an hour long tour is too long for a toddler.
This place was average to poor! We acknowledge the owners are in the process of moving the farm to its new location, and the vision for the future sounds significantly better than its current condition. That isn't what concerned us. The owners didn't even bother to show up, and we overheard people saying there was a game on so they wouldn't be at work - I'm not entirely sure the guy who showed us around is even employed by the Klieberts. The 'farm' is the size of a backyard and consists of 3 dirty pools with turtles and crocodiles in them - with no room for them to move around. There was a shed with the reptiles in it, which was warm, but also stacked with tools, junk and other paraphernalia that does not belong in an animal enclosure. Again, the animals were contained in small enclosures leaving little room for them to move. We were taken to the Kliebert's home to see baby alligators and turtles. When we showed up, the house was surrounded with junk and shabby buildings. There was a trailer with African turtles in it, which was warm and dry. We were offered to sit on the large turtles which I found abhorrent. I refused and was asked several more times, like they didn't understand that someone would find the idea of sitting on a turtle awful. There was a swimming pool with 33 alligators in it according to the guide, and was disgusting with brown water and large chunks of feces. What really concerned us was the state of their own dog. It was in an enclosure, and was so skinny is ribs, hips and shoulder blades were protruding. If this is how the Klieberts treat their own dog, it is a sad indictment of their attitude towards animals. We had read all the favorable reviews on Google which made this business out to be professional and with the best interests of the animals at heart. What we were confronted with was a business in turmoil and a private residence that looked shabby, poorly maintained (in spite of being surrounded by well maintained, tidy homes), and spoke volumes about the standards of the owners. The memory of their dog still haunts us today.
My first time to visit Nola and hold the alligator. Recommend to visited.
There were so much things to see, ranging from gators to ferrets. The tour guide was very kind, told us many facts and tried to answer as much questions as we asked. This is a great place to go for anybody who loves reptiles or other animals.
Klieberts was incredible. We had a great time. The staff is very informative. They are all great people and take great care of the animals. The passion for what they do definitely shows and makes your experience even better. We had Carrie as a tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about the animals and very patient. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and inviting! Great for families!
So good I should have gotten two and very juicy
Place opens at 11am but tours start at 12:15. Nice verity of animals. Can buy meats and souvenirs.
Awesome
Best place ever!
A must do for all guests in Louisiana. Amazing tour guides!
I have been trying to call for 2 days. The website says call to confirm winter hours, but no one answers the phone.
They went way above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible! Very knowledgeable and extremely kind people. You can tell they have a passion for what they are doing and are doing it very well! Highly recommend and we will be back.
Good place, great employees, can't wait to go back when have big gator place finished... Then 5 STAR...
Getting better as work progresses.
Terrible, absolutely the worst. Went in Feb., when we bought our tickets they failed to tell us that the alligators where not active in the cooler temp.. Walked around the entire place & only saw 1- alligator & 1-turtle, heard a lot of BS. The rest of the animals where in filthy, bare dirt cages. The horses had no shelter or grass to eat. All the water buckets & aquariums, where green and dirty & smelled like sewer water. The poor raccoons where in a bare dirt, open area with no place to hide. Did not have us wash our hands before or after handling the alligators the SPCA should close them down..
Awesome!
Love this place, friendly and educational
Awesome staff. They were very patient with answering all my kids questions. I'd come back again!!
Too cold to enjoy food
Great place and loved all the animals! The guide was super awesome and very funny. I highly suggest this place
Heioful
Awesome tour, my 4yr old loved it.
Great family atmosphere. Very up close and personal experience. Even with the renovation still in process they make it an enjoyable place to bring the family.
Absolutely love coming here. I've been going since I was little. They are going through a lot of renovations, but it will be ready soon and I can't wait. T-Mike is the man!
They were over an hour late to start our tour and it was going to make us late for our dinner reservations if we had stayed. Still wouldn't refund our money all the while calling us names and talking trash about us under their breath.
Best friendly tours and tour guides in Louisiana!
Cool place to visit and see Alligators. Great tour guide! It's just very hot so be prepared for summer heat!
Family owned, staff knows a lot about the animals and treats them well. We and the kids had a very good time despite most of the gators being hibernating.
Wonderful place! I like to take friends and family here when they visit from out of town. In my opinion, it's way more fun than doing swamp tours and far better priced! T-Mike, the owner, is fantastic and passionate about his job!
This place is awesome! I highly reccomend going to see the animals. The tour guide is always very informative! I wish I lived closer near by to go all the time! This place is for sure 5 stars!
Both the receptionist and tour guide were very knowledgeable and sweet. My family has come here 3 years in a row for our family vacation. It's definitely worth the trip. I look forward to seeing them grow and watch the finished product! Thanks so much!
Bubba was the best! Knowledgeable and answered every question. You are not rushed through at all. Work in progress at the moment, will be the best tour in town when they finish. Do not miss! If you have a child who is passionate about wildlife...they will not be disappointed. Family-owned business, great prices. Support local!
We will be back!!!
Such a great interactive place. They are in the middle of relocating but we were still able to see and do alot. Our tour guide Jesse was great!! They also rescue alot of their animals which was great!
Wonderful place! I like to take friends and family here when they visit from out of town. In my opinion, it's way more fun than doing swamp tours and far better priced! T-Mike, the owner, is fantastic and passionate about his job!
Great customer service, only had time to stop for a few minutes to have my son's picture taken with a baby gator. Lady was very helpful and took care of us. So glad we decided to stop here on our way to Florida.
Facility is temporarily conducting tours next door to the original place which is 41067 w yellow water rd Hammond, la. The new Facility will be ready in 2019 at 40511 W I-55 service Rd. 1 Mile away. This will be everyone’s New Favorite place!
They are in the process of moving. We still had a good experience and my 2 year old seemed to enjoy it. Make sure you have water for the tour to keep you hydrated. We look forward to going back when everything is up and running like they plan.
Last year (November 5th, to be exact) my family visited your farm. You see, it was my son's 11th birthday, but also was the day before we buried his grandmother. We were hoping, praying for some distraction so that he'd be able to separate birthdays and my mother's death in future years. We arrived early for the first tour and were immediately greeted by a very polite young lady. I pulled her aside and explained our situation. I'd like to thankyou all @ Kliebert & Sons. That young lady and then one of the Kliebert sons went out of their way to make my son's birthday a great memory. The kindness, one to one conversations have made us lifetime fans! You are a blessing! By the way, a promise is a promise. My son fell in love with your snakes and asked for one. Check out the kid, snake and shirt! God bless!
In transition when we visited but Mr Richard did his best to add value. Very knowledgeable and safety focused. Hoping the heirs get it sorted out.
Awesome tour!! Dont judge the book by the cover! From the outside you're thinking there cant be a gator tour here but its there and its awesome!!! Very educational!!! Awesome people doing awesome things with really cool animals!!
We had so much fun here. Dylan was our guide & he was so friendly and informative. I would recommend going here to anyone, but especially with kids. Both our 8 year old boy and our 15 year old daughter had a blast.
Great experience , I can't wait until they open the new facility in February!
My kids and I had a great time! The tour was a bit short it seemed, but was done well. Thanks for the memories
Would love to see it when they have finished construction.
Going here is always a pleasure. The staff is very knowledgeable. They make you feel like part of the family. It's a great time, wether you're a local, or visiting from out of town, it's sure to be a good time!
Awesome experience. They were in the process of moving, but we still got a great tour. Be sure to hold the alligatos and snakes while you are there! Great trip for the family, I would highly recommend stopping in.
This was such a great experience. You get up close and personal with the animals, and they are clearly well-loved and cared for.
(Translated by Google) The memory caught up with me ... We were there in 2017. It was sad to see in what unloving and species conservation bad condition the enclosures and terrarium animals were housed. Everything was dirty and untidy. Much too small huts and dirt everywhere. In Germany, the authorities had long since closed. We were so sad to have to leave this behind without really doing anything. Really bad. We can only hope that something has changed to this day ... but in the pictures to be seen much is as bad as it was then. That should not be supported in any case.
Fun and interesting for the whole family. They make learning about alligators and turtles fun
It was interesting, but they're just starting over after father passed away... they could really use the business.
Short staffed, not a pleasant tour guide. Complained about being short staffed. Went last year to the old place much better experience won't be going back any more.
Not a bad family friendly tour.
This place is awesome! I highly reccomend going to see the animals. The tour guide is always very informative! I wish I lived closer near by to go all the time! This place is for sure 5 stars!
They are in the process of moving so it was a little disorganized but the experience was fantastic. We got to see turtles of all sizes and shapes. We got to hold some little tiny ones. They had snakes, alligators, and crocodiles. They have alligators they you can actually hold without their jaws taped. The staff was very knowledgeable and full of information. We would definitely do it again!
I love this place ! Awesome place to bring the kids !
My daughter’s Godmother took her to Kliebert & Sons Gator Tours and they had an awesome experience! The tour guide, Bubba, was knowledgeable and not scripted. You can definitely tell these people love what they do. My daughter was able to interact with the animals and was never rushed! We cannot wait to go back and see all the progress they’ve made!! We definitely cannot wait to see how big the Wallaby, Stevie, gets!!
T Mike always does a great job. It is very evident how much he and his staff love and care for all of the animals. The greatness started with Mr. Harvey and continues on today thru TMike and soon to also be thru his son
Family of 14 enjoyed it all.
So friendly, took their time with our large group. Wonderful adventure!
Awesome!!! Tour guide is phenomenal! Loved it! Must see.
Both the receptionist and tour guide were very knowledgeable and sweet. My family has come here 3 years in a row for our family vacation. It's definitely worth the trip. I look forward to seeing them grow and watch the finished product! Thanks so much!
Friendly environment the kids really enjoys the visit.
Fun place, takes about an hour, you must be led by a tour guide. Come here if you want to see hundreds of alligators, all of different ages and sizes. Many alligators older than 50 yrs live in a large natural swamp area, young alligators live in a smaller enclosure with a pool, and baby alligators live in a large swimming pool. Tour guides will take you into enclosures to see alligators, will help you "sit" on an alligator, and you will hold a baby alligator. Tour guides are knowledgeable about alligator biology and how to handle wildlife. There are also some other kinds of wildlife, but it's really all about the alligators.
Nice people good time. In middle of moving also cold out or would give a 5.
