Loved it
Amazing experience.
We brought our 1st graders on a field trip to Gone Wild Safari and watched a baby giraffe be born! Welcome to the world baby "Buckeye"! Buckeye Elementary School #BESINSPIRES
A lot of animals, very great place for family's.
Great place to bring the little ones to see some animal's
Omg i love this place
My little girl loves this place.
Love it. Relaxing, walk around, petting zoo is fun, safari ride is awesome. Kinda pricey but very clean, well maintained, animals are beautiful.
Ok facility. I'm a vet assistant and a lot of these animals could use some vet attention as well as hoof trimmings. Their feet are so overgrown to the point they are lame.
Wonderful experience! Lots of fun
Tiny, but good experience. A bit expensive for all it is.
Wasnt sure we were going the right way as there were NO signs anywhere except right at the entrance. We came at the last tour time and it was wonderful, guide very friendly and the kids loved it! Thank you very much.
Enjoyed it, great staff members
Friendly people and well taken care of animals make for a great experience.
Very clean and enjoyable. Friendly staff. Animals were very interactive.
Little smelly but interesting
Had so much fun
Great place.
Had a blast with the kids, very nice staff. Hands on with the animals instead of a typical zoo were you just look at through the cage.
It was a nice experience but I was extremely disappointed that it wasn't more interactive. You go on a tour bus with however many other people and then are only able to stop and see the animals when the bus allows. You're only supposed to feed the animals from the cups and there was a sign that said petting zoo but the only thing we found were more animals in fences. The kids playground was incredible. Overall it was horribly overpriced and very disappointing. We MUCH preferred the safari in Franklin, TX.
Kids and us had a blast. Will be bk
Although we enjoyed ourselves until my four year old grandson was bit badly on his hand. Bit by a kangaroo at the petting zoo. When we reported it they said oh yea that one bites sometimes. Really??? This should have been told beforehand and that animal shouldn't be petted by children.
For what it is, it was nice enough. The ride on the bus (though short) was lots of fun since we weren't crowded, and the gift shop with all the birds and reptiles was very interesting. Wasn't impressed by what passes for a petting zoo and felt like some of the animals in the "do not feed" area are in desperate need of better accommodations especially in regards to their feeding and watering situations. We particularly noticed that the Coatimundi's food bowl was crawling with ants and it was trying desperately to get to it's vegetables without being bitten. Most older children will get a blast from feeding the animals but younger ones may be frightened by the "pushiness" of the large animals that come to the bus to feed from the cups. BTW, we recommend buying the half-bucket of food for $12.50; more than enough for the tour and the petting zoo. Just beware, some animals will try to take the whole cup from your hands
Had a great time. The prices are 12.00 adults, 8.00 kids, 2 and under free. Military and seniors are 10.00. Cups of feed are 2.00 a cup and 20.00 a bucket. Get the bucket!!!! Smaller animals are in the petting zoo and the camels and bigger animals are on the 45 minute tour. You can feed the animals off the bus but hold on to your cups because they will try to still them. You can stay as long as you want too and visit the playground.
We had a blast.
Awesome place
It was fun but expensive. You can see/do everything in less than 2 hours. You can feed animals if they come close enough. The petting zoo part was not what I expected - you can't actually go in with the animals. They come up to you to be fed. But, you do get to see a few different and unusual animals up close. It was pretty neat.
Such a fun place. We brought two toddlers who had an absolute blast. Definetly worth the drive from Southeast Texas..
I’m an adult man and I actively look forward to going to this place every time it’s mentioned.
Absolutely loved it. Had fun petting and feeding the animals. My kids really enjoyed it too! Jessica, the tour guide, is very knowledgable about the animals out in the field. And the birds inside were awesome too!
It was fun. Absolutely no complaints!
This was so much fun for our kiddos. We actually drove out of our way to come to this place. It was well worth it. The staff was friendly. The experience was really neat. Highly recommend it.
Tried to go in a Sunday afternoon and was apparently closed and they were not answering the phone so we took a long drive for nothing
Had a blast!!! The animals are so friendly plus the gift shop is reasonably priced
Only got to see the petting zoo as the safari part was closed. Was disappointed not to get the full experience but the kids enjoyed the part they did get to see.
My son enjoyed that he got to feed the animals and got to ride on the bus
So fun!
Our kids had a blast! Easy to get in and out and a good variety of animals. The playground was pretty sparse and not for little ones.
A lot of exotic animals
Decent little petting zoo and animal encounter.
Had fun great place to take the kids
Had a great time.
Great place to have a day with the family. Don't go expecting anything like Tigers and Elephants. They do have a lot of other animals from Africa. You can feed virtually every animal they have. Go and have fun!
Enjoyable, friendly, well kept
The place is very clean and well kept. With all these animals, there was no smells. The one thing I would correct is the cattle crossing. There is no sign there stating do not enter so we were going across it without knowing, walking across. We were told later when on the bus, do not cross here cause it could get rough. So just a "do not enter" sign, we would have known. Otherwise we enjoyed.
Great time
Great.
Love this place, and exotic wonderland right here at home. The animals pleasant to look and the people a re friendly
Everything about this plasce is fun and wonderful
Love it, I've been there 4 times with 5 to 8 year old and they love it also we have never left disappointed.
Came 300 miles to find out it was closed at 1:30 PM on a Monday my whole family came with me 10 people very disappointed
It was a really good experience. The kids loved it! I just wish it was longer and had more things to offer.
Not worth the money. Animals look malnourished. Petting zoo isn't quite a petting zoo. The tour guide was rude. Numerous things that didn't satisfy me those are just a few . Will never waste my money at that filth again. Recommend you do not go!
Absolutely enjoyed it. We will be going back again.
Great place for kids and they handled the large group well. The kinda of place that is great for repeated visits and it doesn't get old quick since things change around. Great bus your and animal feeding, the woman leading our guided tour told us lots of neat facts about their animals.
Good time for the price, but the ride was shorter than I was expecting, so we had plenty of animal feed left when the tour ended. It was okay, though, because we went to the petting zoo to feed the rest. Overall a really fun adventure for my kiddo and me.
Great place to take family
My baby loved the animals!!
A really fun family friendly place. A good time for its price. If I'm in the area again. I will visit again.
Needs a little more variety but still pretty fun
It was Hot but we enjoyed ourselves
My grandson and I visited today and had a great time. If your kids love animals this place is a must. The petting zoo was fun also
Hot. Dusty. Walkways not marked. Petting area had no signage but bus driver later said for us to just walk in with the animals. Animals were all hungry. Enjoyed feeding them. A couple of cool animals- Giraffes and buffalo and camels
Keep up the fantastic journey? Very cool place for the young kids and the adults too!! Nothing like this in Indiana
Always a good visit
More than I expected. Spend a bout a half of day here.
This place is pretty cool for a day trip. I would combine it with the Alexandria Zoo and your kids will have a blast. They will get to touch a Giraffe, feed Camels, and be chased by goats.
The place was awesome! So much to see, and it was so much fun to get so close to all the animals.
Fantastic safari experience!!! Not a full day adventure but well worth the trip.
Great place to bring your family
It was a fun experience!!
Great animals you can feed by hand
Petting zoo, bus tour ride to see animals and feed them out the windows kids loved it!!!
Love this place!!! My 4 little ones loved riding the bus and having the animals following us while they fed them. Can't wait to go back!
The best, definitely coming back. You can hold an otters hand! You can pet, kinda, a finicfox and it's amazing the price for admission is worth it and honestly I would come everyday!
Fun place
Such an amazing place. Owners make you feel welcomed. Friendly staff. A must do!!
The kids had a blast!
Great place to bring kids or have a birthday party. Science classes as elementary schools field trip here often.
Beautiful and nice
Lots of animals
Nice animal refuge
Had a wonderful time, me and my grandson, my nephew and his daughter had a great experience feeding the animals, the lady that guide us through everything was very nice, I enjoyed everything, will be back to visit and will tell other to visit, wonderful place to take the kids.
Nice place for my daughter's field trip
(Translated by Google) There were a lot of animals (Original) 동물도 많았고 좋았어요
Perfect ending to my son's birthday celebration..The animals are friendly and the zoo is the perfect size! The employees were nice as well. Maybe next time we'll get a chance to do the tour. We missed the 1st one of the day and the 2nd was too far away. All in all, this was the perfect day trip!
We had lots of fun here and my daughter just loved the animals.
Enjoyed the picks and was so glad to see Bruser still causes the bus. Miss everything out there. Need to go out and see everything with fresh eyes. PS Did y'all have a new baby giraffe born just lately. Got to see that! My grandson was there just as her water broke and he said he could see little feet. How awesome!
Great will be returning in the future!
Had an amazing time!
This is supposed to be a learning experience for children but watching someone kick at an animal is not the lesson I want my kids to get
Excellent place for toddlers and little children or ( adults) to entertain. The safari tour is great entertainment and i always love to feed animals. Keep your cup as some animals could easily steal it:)
Wonderful experience for children and adults!
Great place to interact with the animals compared to your local zoo.
Not bad.
I decided to bring my wife here for a spontaneous date and I was definitely not disappointed. Our tour guide was so fantastic and was extremely informative and interactive with us and other guests both while on the safari bus and in the gift shop. It was a pretty slow day so she ran both the gift shop and the tour. All of the animals looked extremely happy and healthy. It's much better than the Alexandria Zoo in my opinion. I will be back for sure
It was small but so worth the time and money. I brought my 7month old here and we had a blast!!! So many animals to pet on the ride. They come right up to be fed and they are all friendly and sweet. I personally loved the petting zoo because the animals had to come to you for love instead kids chasing them all over. There was a camel there who was so loveable!! We had a wonderful day!
Great place to take the whole family
Great place to bring the kids for a close up view and feeding of the animals
Dd
So much fun and such a wide variety of animals. Loved it!!
A very cool place to take the kids! A hidden gem!
Best place ever!
Great
My son had a great time. They have soooo many beautiful animals to feed. Will be visiting again.
We all loved it! My daughter had her 7th bday party here. Wish we would have thought about Gone Wild Safari for all their birthdays. They could do a little more on the partyside of it, but the Safari and petting zoo was great! Honestly we have no complaints!
Fun place to bring the family.
Kids loved it
Wr had a wonderful time here. One animal struck his head in the bus and tried to take my cup!! lol!!
Awesome visit. Exceeded my expectations.
Awesome fun for the family, our kids loved it!
My daughter loved the bus tour!
These people were told a staff member was kicking and animal and they did nothing about it. They were very rude about it too. Please don't go here.
Amazing! Staff are the best! They animals are super friendly! It's every animal lovers dream
Loved this place, spent two hours there easy!
Loved it because of the animals
Had a wonderful time with all the children and animals
The kids love it here. Great place
Fun place for everyone
My family and I visited the Gone Wild Safari this afternoon. Our toddler had a great time petting the bunnies. When he was done, we saw a large group gathered around the porcupine pen, so we went over to see what was going on. A teen had hopped the fence and was chasing a porcupine around and kicking it so he could pluck some quills. Susan asked if he worked there and he said yes. We didn't believe him, so we went to the office and told them what happened. They seemed concerned and asked us who it was. Fortunately, he was walking by the door at the time and we pointed him out to the lady. She went outside and said something to him at which point he came over to us, the staff member still present, and started arguing about it. He threatened to beat us up with my toddler standing there, at which point another staff member told US to leave! He said that he lived there and that we couldn't do anything about it. It turned out that he actually was a staff member, which was shocking. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back again! Even if it's somehow okay to kick at a porcupine and pluck it, there's NO way to justify threatening customers with violence and kicking them out for simply expressing concern about an animal! It was absolutely terrible and very bizarre from a business.
Overall had an ok time and the little kids liked it - however it was small and not as many animals as we expected. The guided tour was more a man driving a school bus around a 1/2 mile path showing the same animals from the petting zoo and telling you what it was. You stop to feed the animals 3 times - then its all over - $10 per kid and $12 per adult. Id say you get a bang for your buck by taking the kids to the zoo. Online stated they offered military discounts - when you get there they don't honor it. Hope this helps
Fun animals! Recommend for both kids and adults if you like animals up close and personal.
Wonderful place for families!!
Great place to take kids. Friendly staff and lots of fun.
Good place to interact with animals
