We visited last week and had a great time! The animals are well cared for and the staff is very nice. We were able to feed and pet some of the animals and paid for a Kangaroo encounter. I really appreciated that the owners children are so involved with the zoo and loved that they brought around other animals while we were walking around. We will definitely be coming back!

Very cute for a roadside zoo. $8 comes with food to feed the animals. Great for kids.

With a three-year-old and a seven-year-old, it took a little more than an hour to go through this little zoo, plus extra time for petting all the animals. There were no hidden costs except for a tiny gift shop. It fills a niche between the Dayton area MetroParks that have goats and the giant Cincinnati Zoo. The staff was great. They were very friendly to a diverse crowd that showed up the day we went. While he was changing water and bringing feed, one staff member "made rounds" to make sure visitors got to touch animals outside their enclosures, including two foxes and several goats. There are a lot of building materials laying about as of August 2018 so I imagine they are making a few changes. It'd be nice if they added a few flower gardens and got some of the things off the path. We will definitely check it out next summer.

Paths are hard to walk on....very few things to see and price is ridiculous! For $8 a person we should have a bathroom to use and not a porta potty on a hill! Staff was rude when we accidentaly crossed a roped off area ( which was a small yellow rope laying on the ground..no idea. Place is trashed and unkept..animals look starved. Waste of money and i would never spend it again. Admission should be no more than 4 or 5 dollars.........

Excellent place for a few hours of hands on interaction with some farm animals as well as exotic animals. The staff are top notch. Love the layout of the place, plenty of shade for those hot days. The animals were all very healthy and seemed very calm with the amount of people coming and going. I recommend this place for anyone young or old.

We had a great time I took my four year old and she thought it was great. The only place I've ever been where they let us go In the kangaroo cage. The kangaroo was so friendly and came right up to us all the animals came right up to us great for all kids and I even had a lot of fun all the fun of a zoo with a personal hometown feel

Great place to visit. $8 per person. You get a bowl of food as you enter so that you may feed some of the animals. We were also able to bottle feed and hold the goats. That was the highlight and worth the price of admission.

We went with our son and had an amazing experience. The family that owns and runs it are so nice. Loved that you can pet and feed the majority of the animals. Thank you, we definitely will be going back.

It was very fun! It had many different farm animals, they give you the option to pet and feed most of them. It is laid back, not that strict but they still have all of their pets in order. They treat all of them very well. The are all well fed, and taken care of. I enjoyed my visit very much. And if you like walking around and petting animals for a reasonable price, you should come here!

We had such a great time at this well run, clean zoo! Emily showed us around and told us many personal stories about the animals. My kids loved that they could feed and pet so many of the animals. They even got to hold a baby fox! What a great way to spend an afternoon!

Lizzy Gutierrez

We drove over an hour to visit to find the place closed. Voice mail box was full when we called. Messaged via messenger and when we finally received a response they said they were gone to the fair. Web page was updated after our contact to make it seem as though their information was posted prior. Total waste of time. Will not return to see if the place is worth visiting.

Justin Keller

Was charged more than was posted..then have learned that they are being sued for animal cruelty which makes sense bc the kangaroos were shaking..dont know if it was the cold but they didnt look healthy

Friendly and helpful staff. We got to pet the ferret, Red Fox, Silver Fox, snake, lots of goats and their large tortoise. We spent about 45 minutes here and the $8 per person was solid value for hands on access to several exhibits.

Well, this is Dana Hilleary from Eaton( I didn't have a google account to be able to leave a review, so I am using my grandsons' log in to do it). Any way....my grand daughter -9 years old and I decided to make a visit. We really enjoyed seeing all the animals. The lady at the front talked a long while with us and let my granddaughter handle the albino python, which she just loved! It is a small locally ran place. They give you a tub of food to feed the animals with with admission. It was a nice experience. There is a play area that smaller children can enjoy. Stop in and see them. It is not fancy, but they have interesting variety of animals to experience. Gave it a 4 star because there is always room to expand and improve. Look forward to visiting again.

Visited here with my family, we had a good time and got to see some cool animals. It is a great alternative to some of the large city zoos. My criticisms would be the state of grounds and lack of information for some of the animals. I understand its probably a family owned operation, but there needs to be some work done to spruce up the place and make it look nicer. Several animals didn't have any signs for what they were, information about the animals or how to feed them. All that said, the staff seemed to consist of 2 or 3 family members at the time we were there, and some young gentlemen were running things. They were nice and professional for their ages. TLDR: Its a neat place, worth the money and fun for kids. If you want something with a bit more polish its not your place.

Local business. Enjoyed my visit at Safari Junction. Very clean well organized zoo. Super hospitality and professionalism presented at this facility. Nice variety of well cared for animals.

I was there at about the start of the day, now these animals should have water and food before the place even opens. These poor animals had no water it seemed like for days, the calf was so starved you could see every one of its bones and was very sick as it had hair missing that looked like mange and it also had no visable food or water and was crying for us to feed it grass, as well as the boars and pigs had no water or food and they were literally crying. It was so pitiful no child should ever see anything like this. I assure you no one is going around feeding or watering them. This is sad and pitiful, I see this as a ploy to make guests buy the food to give them up front. Very sad and disgusting. The first cage you see is caked with the animals own feces, the animals are all bony and weak. This is wretched

Jordan Pierce

It was a lot of fun and very interactive, we even got to bottle feed the calf and hold the pythons. Definitely would recommend, the owners are really nice, they treat the animals well and it's not expensive.

Tanner Thackeray

Loved this place alot. Friendly wholesome staff, very friendly animals, awesome variety for the size. Highly recommend
