We have been here multiple times and its such an awesome location to take the family for a day out. We have been here for birthday parties, kids sport meets and just to visit the petting zoo. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming and the location is easy to find.

I feel sorry for those ponies held by chains. It's like carousel, but they are using real baby horses. Sad way to make $4.50.

Was a perfect place for a visit with our little one. He loved petting and brushing the goats, as well as feeding the animals. The zoo doesn’t require a ton of time, but great for the attention of tiny ones - and when you leave you can make use of the lovely playgrounds outside. Would totally recommend it for a family outing.

Super fun place to visit, reconnect, or hangout. Very clean, lots of space for kids to run and play. Nice running/walking paths. We had a family reunion in one of the pavilions. Lots of shade, space and picnic tables. Even had a firepit with space to pull up chairs around it. Great destination for an outdoor event, or quaint picnic!!!

Great little petting zoo for kids, this was my first time back since they made the renovations. All the animals look well taken care of and the animals are friendly to the kids too. The new reptile section is pretty neat too.

This place is fun to go to. They have a nice big park for the kids to play in, and some picnic tables to eat lunch at. The actual petting zoo portion of this place is exactly what you'd expect. Make sure you bring some quarters for the food.

Such a great place! The staff is so friendly and willing to talk about the different animals throughout the exhibits. Extremely kid friendly; which is obviously a must. They also have many activities that can be signed up for for children. With the two parks and additional picnic areas just outside the zoo it's easy to spend a day there with your kids.

Good place to take the kids. Lots of goats, couple sheep, llamas, horse and ponies. $4 entry per person. Additional cost for animal feed. Can spend about an hour here and see everything. Park next door that kids will enjoy as well. Friendly staff too.

Similar feel to Philips Park in Aurora. Play in the park for a while, then visit the zoo, which is small but laid out well. It's much easier to see the animals here compared to Cosley Zoo or the Aurora zoo. Definitely worth a visit!

I visited for a touch a truck event, but wasn't impressed with the number of trucks that were there. The animal exhibits were good and the animals seemed well cared for. Unfortunately it rained terribly during our visit. We were able to find a shelter to stand under until the rain broke... but only temporarily. We decided to make a dash for the parking lot and the main structure was so filled with people trying to stay out of the rain that we couldn't get through. The staff weren't sure how to get the people to stand to the side, which made this a potentially dangerous situation if there were an emergency. While I understand that people will be people, dangerous situations need to be managed better.

It's a quick visit, generally under two hours. Worthy of an annual trip. Low cost of entry and children are occupied for the duration. Typical petting zoo plusa few extras... Newest addition? The camel! Great to catch the occasion zoo keeper talk or when they pull out one of the animal from its enclosure.

Such a fun time! Very educational! The zoo is a little small so older kids get bored more quickly. The feed is an additional cost to the entrance price. The pony ride costs extra as well.

Nice place to spend about an hour. Basic selection of animals; cows, tortoise, snake, camel, donkey, goats, pigs. Price wasn't horrible and the staff were nice. The layout is good although there are a couple of dead ends, but that did not add an overwhelming amount of time / steps to the trip. My 5 year old had a good time feeding, petting, brushing the animals which is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars.

Its a small little place, easy to do in a hour. Fair amount of people on the beautiful day we went. Interactive in that you could pet goats and brush them but not take your food in. The line for the pony rides was extremely long. A good portion of the animals have like a double fence so that you can't get close to them - well most of those animals weren't any where near what a 5 year can see. And what about the smell near the fox cage? We couldn't stand to stay standing there it was so bad. This place is good for a once around and one time visit. I wouldn't go back. There is a park area and a place for picnicking but they don't serve any food or water that we saw.

Love this zoo. I live nearby, so it's worth it to become a member. It's good exposure to animals for my son who's under two and doesn't get much animal interaction. He enjoys going here, and they have many activities throughout the day. They also bring some animals out to pet. They have pony rides for kids and my boy loves it. They also have a park and shelter that can be reserved. Overall it's a neat little zoo and I'm glad I live so close to it.

Nice little zoo to take the kids. Big zoos are overwhelming for little kids. Kids enjoyed feeding goats, cows, llamas, sheep, deer and camel. Pony ride is nice too. Something you could do in an hour. And if you have more time, do a little picnic in one of the many huts outside the zoo area..

Thought it was just a touch pricey for a kids zoo. But after I got in there I realized it was a bargain! The zoo is larger then it looks, has quite a few exhibits, the staff is young but knowledgeable and quite friendly especially towards the children! The wide range of creatures featured there, all seem to be well tended, and well cared for! My grandchildren, ages 7 through 12 really enjoyed it!

The Randall Oaks Zoo is located about 2.5 miles north of the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) on the west side of Randall Rd. It is part of the Dundee Township Park District. There is easy access in to and out of the parking lot and there is plenty of parking. The Randall Oaks Zoo is small and features a petting zoo, pony & horseback rides, duck feeding, animal training demonstrations and a lot more. The prices are reasonable, even though there are resident & non-resident prices. The staff is very friendly and personable. There are seating areas that are shaded. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. There are refreshments available at the entrance, as well. Immediately adjacent to the small zoo is a park with a playground and picnic areas. This is a great spot to bring the kids, especially if you don't want to drive in to the city.

It is not a large zoo but it is fun for kids and pretty reasonably priced $4 For out of towers 2 and over. $1 For cups to feed the goats and they give you quite a lot. $4.50 pokey rides. Everyone there is super nice too.

Staff is wonderful and friendly. Watch out for the llama... The llama got some attitude problem and likes to spit. Great fun for the entire family. It is educational and kids will enjoy the animal... Though watch out for the llama.
