Here you will see the feddbacks of people like you who are buying the products and services of Santa\'s Village Azoosment Park (Zoo) in the area close to the state of Illinois.
Now the firm has a rating of 4.5 stars over 5 and this score is based on 1888 reviews.
As you can see the average score it has is almost the top, and it's based on a large number of reviews, so we can think that the assessment is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo corresponds to the category of Amusement park.
We had a blast here with the kids. Most of the staff were friendly and kind. The door greet was definitely full of life. He made kids crack up and seem to be enjoying him self making everyone smile as they come.in
All 3 generations had a wonderful time! The park is clean and the staff is so friendly and helpful! Love the interactive app while you're in the park. Only two things to improve my experience & rating...More restrooms and a lower admission for kids under 48". They aren't able to ride all the attractions-even with an adult. Will definitely be back!
Rides are fun, animal care needs to be addressed. Ponies need hoof care and many parakeets look sick and have peanut butter caked beaks. Peeing zoo animals have become aggressive in efforts to get food.
Best place in the world. Years of family enjoyment. Can bring in outside food or buy. Fair prices and amazing staff. Very well maintained and operated. You wont regret it!
This park is more geared towards a younger crowd. I was very impressed when the girls met Santa.he does a great and is very interactive with kids about christmas and his mission. My girls left saying we better keep everything quiet. Bring your own food or don't, that part did impress me. If you dont bring your food they have decent prices on concessions. Overall a great day out with the young kids.
SANTA VILLAGE BROUGHT BACK CHILDHOOD MEMORIES!!! EVERY YEAR I USED TO HAVE A BIRTHDAY PARTY..
Amazing family park. The greeter at the entrance is awesome, each staff member we encountered was very friendly, prices are very reasonable, lines were pretty fast on a busy Saturday. Their new Santas Springs section is an awesome new addition. The lifeguards on staff at the grand opening were super nice and understanding when dealing with my special needs son. 5 stars for Santas Village!!
Though it has potential, this place is poorly managed with awful customer service and it is not well maintained. I asked to speak to a manager about an issue we had the last time I had gone. We were written off by some poorly trained high school kid who said the manager was not available. While it could be a cute and fun place for little kids, I won’t be taking my kids back here due to the poorly run operations.
Perfect amusement park for kids 3-10. Not very long lines, free parking, tons of fun, and won't break the bank.
The place is so much fun for kids and adults! I recommend it.
Fun and amazing place to spend time with the kids and family!
Nice place fam friendly not too pricy
There were plenty of rides for both older and younger kids. We had been there before but it had been about a year and a half since our last visit. We spent a good chunk of our day there, about 5 hours. The kids had a great time. Snack bar set up is not well thought out. You have to pay and then go back through the line to pick your slushie flavors. And some of the ride attendants weren't the friendliest. For example, the teenage boy manning the bumper cars closed the door quickly on a boy so he couldn't enter the floor of the ride instead of saying something like, "hold on".
They have really done a nice job bringing this back! Clean and fun!
love this place ...4 stars because i bought a season pass and they have been closed most of the year for weather...not their fault i know .but still
We visited as a blast from the past. The lines were short and the rides were just enough for a great day. Santa has been there since 1986 so if this is a return visit it is a true trip down memory lane.
Great value, virtually no lines for rides, animals were amazing. Park was ergonomic and easy to navigate. Food was affordable and very good. Staff was very friendly. Excellent day adventure location
Santas Village is a fun place for LITTLE KIDS and something for a family to do together on the weekend. Fun rides and animals, great parking and the price is right for the activities they have to offer. And they acknowledge the Military, that's a big plus for me. Have fun enjoy I recommend this place for family's with toddlers and little kids.
Was a lot of fun. My 3 year old loved it. Very good place for younger children.
Good price. Clean. Great for younger kids. Age appropriate rides.
They brought the old Galaxy coaster back!! One of my favorite places from my childhood, so happy to see it restored and well taken care of, was so sad too see it closed for so many years!
Great for younger kids who may be too small for rides at carnivals
Great place, been a season pass holder since it re opened. Friendly staff, very clean and lots to do.
Nice change from neighborhood carnivals.
It's great, and main attractions are amazing! But there isn't much variety to it. There aren't many areas you can go as an adult after you do the main 3 attractions. Great for family time, and you can stay a while.
Great place for kids. We had tons of fun
Best place I've been to in a long Tim geared toward smaller children. My grandsons and i can't wait to go again!
So much fun. I loved bringing my kids to a place I went to as a child. Looking forward to the water park addition.
Great place to spend time with kids
Doesn't matter still cool.. fyi
My kids are 4 through 8 and there is a nice variety of rides to accommodate all of their ages. They love feeding the animals and the pony rides as well. It's also a great size to walk for small legs.
Nice place for young kids, line wait isn't too long.
Loved this place since I was little. Lots of new things within the last few years! Great for little kiddies!!!
We love this place. It is just what parents need to keep have a great day with the kids and wear them out while learning and riding rides. We no sooner leave the parking lot and the kids are asleep. What's even better is that my mom spent time here as a kid in the early 60s, and some things are the same. So three generations of our family get to experience the park and share similar memories.
Its a fun place to visit, the kids love it and you can bring a cooler with you.
Nice for smaller kids I'd say 10 and under
Great place for just about anyone to have fun with an fantastic ride variety, cute and fun decorations and atmosphere, nice little shops to explore, and a lot of cool animals around to see. The park is quite clean as well. The workers are definitely fun and friendly too and contribute to an positive atmosphere. I definitely enjoyed my recent visit, I'll be back.
Great for kids. Water park not open yet but still had fun. Short lines
Something for everyone!! My 9 years old enjoyed to the core!!
Great place for the little little one 1-8yo. Kept up very well. New splash pad is awesome. Just make sure to wear water shoes as there were many stones still in the pool.
Great place togo with your kids or Parents to enjoy
Got there with my family at opening. Basically no wait to purchase tickets. Sunny when we arrived, but about 1:00 it started getting dark. Got one more ride in then bad weather hit. Stayed under the pavilion till rain stopped. Employees came around saying Park was closing due to weather. The best news... they were issuing passes so we could return another day. How great is that! My birthday turned out even better because of that.
Great place for kids fordable not far from the city free parking
Perfect family day. We have a newborn and 2 yearold son, he loved it! We will probably go back in the fall. So fun!
Affordable entertainment that's not too far, but not too close from home.
It's been a long time since I have been here we would come every year as part of our summer vacation it was fantastic back then going to take my family soon. (1973or 74) was when we started going. Such wonderful memories with my mom and dad.
Great little spot for a family fun filled day. Decent prices relative to other local spots and tons of kid friendly rides. I would recommend if you are looking for something in the 3-10 age range especially.
Santas village is a pretty amazing place. I have a 6 year old son who I have been taking there since he was 2 years old. The amount of photos we have there is insane! And it's so cool to see him want to go on the "scarier" rides now that he's tall and old enough! The only downside I would say is the typical issue of expensive food and drinks there. If you're going, I feel like it's definitely worth it to plan on staying there literally all day. Or its not worth the money. And expect to pay a pretty penny on food unless you bring a wagon with your own food (which they charge for bringing in). I understand that, but it's still kind of annoying. The whole point of bringing your own food would be to save money. Also, the staff is mixed between very friendly and not friendly at all people. I was waiting for food for a good 15 minutes and went up to ask and the guy gave me a huge attitude that he had called my number earlier, yet he definitely didn't cause I was standing there the whole time. I didn't appreciate that at all. But other than a few rude employees, it's generally kept up well. Also, I haven't been taking my son to see the animals the last few trips because I have been hearing a LOT that kids have been getting sick after being in the petting zoo...so I don't know what this about but I'm not trying to find out!
My kids had alot of fun in this place.
Took a group of 7 kids aged 3-8 with 5 adults. We separated into two groups: two adults with the 3 and 5 year old to hit the kiddie section, the rest with the slightly bigger rides. This worked well. The kiddie area was perfect: little wait time, a lot of shade, simple and entertaining rides. The girls were plenty amused there for 2+ hours. Only 1 of those rides (a rocket ship one) required both adults to accompany the kids. We rejoined the older kids by the bigger section, which was more in the sun and had longer but not painful wait times, even on bring a friend day. Larger rides usually required kids to be 42in to ride alone/without an adult. If you have 2 kids with 1 over 42in and 1 under, they can ride together. Plenty of picnic tables for lunches, clean bathroom, enough space to not feel crowded. Favorite rides: rocket ship, worm roller coaster, and old fashioned cars.
Perfect for families with kids up to about 12-13yo.
I recommend It is a fun place for children.
This place is great, especially for younger children (probably 8 and younger). Most of the rides are pretty tame, although there are a few more "thrilling" rides for bigger kids/adults (pirate ship, rollercoaster, etc). There are a lot of rides that the bigger kids can't ride though (think it's about 52 or 54 inches? My son is only 8, but he's 58 inches and couldn't fit into many of them).
Nice little family amusement park and petting zoo. Don't need much more than a day to get in all the rides and see/feed the animals. Ride lines move fairly quickly and staff are friendly. Limited food selection, and they actually ran out of bottled water at several food stands on a very hot summer day - but you can pack your own food and lots of picnic areas.
Super fun and affordable for an entire day of fun. Plenty to do, especially if you have 5-10 year olds. My 13 year old had a blast as well. Food prices are reasonable for a place of this type, but they allow you to bring your own food if you want to save the money. Mist stations set up for hot days and a waterpark feature coming soon. Can't wait to visit again! P.s. if you don't like snakes or roaches, stay away from the exotic animal show!
Love the area. Hasn't been open yet but I can tell its going to be amazing. People have great energy and willing to make everyone's experience spectacular.
Nice place for kids, animals, don't go on a super hot day
Super fun for the whole family! Years of enjoyment! Would say this place is mainly for 11- but is still fun if your older.
Good to go for a day trip with small kids
Not like it use to be. Way smaller. Bigger rides and water park not there anymore.
Wonderful! A great amusement park. Something for all the kids at a good value. The petting zoo is great plus the pony rides a huge treat for the little ones. It is great having old rides from Kiddieland for another generation to experience and for parents and grandparents to get nostalgic. Also to see them expanding is a great thing to see.
So much fun, tbis place hasn't changed.
I always love coming here. The rides the games and especially the ANimALs. They're super cute. Sorry editing this because I just remembered not to get those big balls at the gift shop. I accedentally popped my sister's so I got her and my brother one and then not 2 hours after purchasing them they popped. Please work on your ball quality.
We all had so much fun! From grandkids, Mom&Dad to grandma & grandpa. Big shout out for the most friendliness staff. Thanks to all of you who work on this labor day. Big cuddles to Mr Jacob working the back gate. It was quite warm but he still had a laugh & a smile. We'll be back Santa Village - next year.
Was a little disappointed the water park wasnt even close to done. Otherwise a pretty good time like usual. Has a friendly helpfull staff
I just got a job there and its gonna be amazing this summer! We are revamping all the food and everyone should come check it out. Our new chef is serious and ready to make sure everyone has an amazing time! They are adding a water park and a lot of amazing food and drink options. I've never been to the park personally and i am so excited about having an amazing time working here!! Come check us out!
We had a great time on the rides. Circus Boy is not worth the time. And a few more benches in the shade.
He hasn't 10 outgrown the park. Went today but only rode 4. I recommend for children under 10. We always have had a great time.
Awesome place for kids between 4-10
Good family place! Food is ok...could be better. Wasn't too busy, which made it easier to get more rides in!
Amazing place for kids of 2 and to enjoy almost every ride!!! Totally recommend it to enjoy it with your little ones and for those teenagers or 18 year old kids that have the kid in them still
Great for the kids. Lots of fun rides.
Great place to bring our kids from day camp
Great place for younger kids. 25 bucks a ticket and free parking . We got there right at 11 am when it opened. It started to get real busy around 1230, it's a smaller park I would say you could keep the kids entertained for about 3-4 hours
Great place to take kids. Our daughter loves it here
Lots of rides for all ages. Lines were not too long
Super fun. Still fun as adult. I loved the bumper cars.
They have everything that a kid could want here. I took my family of 5 and they especially loved the tilt a whirl and the large slide. The roller coasters were great and the petting zoo was awesome. Would recommend for the kids. Great time.
Really a nice place to spend a day with your kiddos. A lot of fun and so many attractions. Be here early so you can have time for everything. No long waits. They also have a barn with animals.
Excellent, well worth your money. Kids and myself had a great time. Staff was really nice. Lines were not so bad, went by pretty fast. I don't know how food is there because we brought our own food. Overall it was a great experience for our first time being here.
Perfect place for toddlers. Most places don't allow you to take a toddlers under a certain height (with or without adult) on the rides, but Santa's Village is safe & reasonable. My 2 year old daughter enjoyed herself.
Our family favorite! It is free for active duty military and their families. It is a great place for all ages. Would 10/10 recommend.
Went paintballing here.... Overall it was a pretty good experience. There definitely is a lack of execution by management and many pumps were broken, some maps were empty while groups were waiting for a single map to open up. Could easily keep all maps full and rotate as games finish if execution was more up to par. Ref's were really nice, but could tell they aren't treated super well
I had wonderful memories here as a child and I feel very lucky now as an adult to bring my kid here and see the same joy. I really hope that someday my child will do the same with there kids.
I think it will be fun.
Very cute little amusement park. The kids LOVED the firetruck ride where there were able to spray water at a real fire
Another awesome day!! Although the place could use some work on some of their buildings.
Got to see Buttons this time and princess Tinsel Belle last time. They have this crazy frozen North Pole up front that the kids loved... I enjoyed the ducks
My son and I went with a group of other families. We all had kids approx 8 and under. Everyone had a blast! Lots of kids rides for all ages, a few train rides, and even couple areas of petting zoos. Well worth the near hour ride there.
Perfect for a family with toddlers and small kids. We had so much fun and the staff was so friendly.
Wonderful family friendly place! Very tame place!
We take our daughter to this amusement park every year for her birthday. She just loves it and so do my wife and I.
Loved it. Perfect for little kids
My kids like it so much, in addition the place is good enough to little one to have fun while small enough to not to get you tired walking around. Well staffed and short lines - so you have more fun compared to the time you spend keeping moral up for your kids.
Brought my daughter here and we both had a great day! Lots for both of us to do and see and no ridiculous lines for anything! Food is very affordable and delicious! So glad I got to take my daughter to the place I used to go to as a kid!
For what you pay for, it’s a nice place. Great for our range of kids, 4-10. I wish it was a little cleaner and kept up better, hence 4 stars. Would definitely return.
We had a great time with our kids and friends (ages 4 - 11)
Can't go wrong here spending a day with the kids.
Fun day!! Little dated, very clean, reasonably priced. Perfect for the 8 and under set. Bring your own lunch, buy drinks there..save some cash that way. Overall it was good. We will be returning !!!
They honor active duty and they are clean and fun for small kids
They kids had a great time, but the water park is still not open.
So much fun for the little ones. Waterpark is being built..can't wait for next summer!
A Classic! Really enjoyed all the rides!
Place dated, but it wonderful for the little one..theres no lines.
This place is pretty expensive especially when you have more then 1 in the family.
Great family fun place at very good price and all rides are included.
Kids 9 and 6 loved it... they were just the right age and had a blast for the day!
Way better than I thought. Very clean park with well maintained rides.
I went here for my child’s field trip, and I left in tears. The pony riding broke my heart!! They look so depressed and they are going around in circles the whole day and only get a 30 minute break. That’s animal abuse if you ask me!. They need to take that away.
My grandchildren and I had a wonderful day. Can't wait for the waterpark to open.
Its a good place for babies and toddlers.
Great place. Kid friendly. Was very excited to bring my little one there for the first time. It was a family gathering and my sister was there. We hadn't been there for many many years. It was great to reminisce.
Wasnt what it was 30 years ago. Sadly MUCH SMALLER. Admission a little pricey for what it is now. Bring a picnic lunch for sure.
We love Santa's Village!! There are rides for all ages, the wait times are never excessive, and parking is free!! We come every year, and are never disappointed.
New water area was an awesome way to cool off. Hoping it continues to expand and has some adult slides or a pool.
Season pass Holder kids love this place.
Was a great time for the kids. Definitely will visit again.
All 3 of us are having so much fun here
I have been going to Santa's Village for over 30 years and have made amazing memories with my children For the last 2 decades. We absolutely LOVE visiting several times every season and enjoy bringing our friends and family to see how awesome it is! I can't say enough about the rides, animals and activities especially visiting Santa! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND bringing your family for a fantastic, memorable experience!
Amazing park for the kids. Very clean and beautiful layout. Staff is all friendly and courteous. I've never seen any rides closed due to maintenance. Serves alcoholic beverages in one food court. Even on busy days you will easily find parking and once inside seems like there are no large crowds. On light days you will not have any wait time for rides. Very well organized.
Very fun and managable for a family with kids ranging from eight to two. I like that this isn't as big as a place like Six Flags so the kids (and parents) don't spend all their energy walking. The variety of rides was perfect. Be aware that kids under 54" have to ride with an adult on some of the "big kid rides" like the roller coaster and bumper cars. They can ride alone on a lot of other rides, though. We were not happy to learn that they charge $5 to bring in your own lunch/cooler so plan accordingly.
Inexpensive. Good rides. One suggestion: Benches outside each ride for grandmas. Not enough places to sit.
This place is like the starter kit before you take your kids to great America. So fun.
It was my first time going on more intense tides and I loved it
Small town amusement park that's perfect for kids 3-12. Reasonable prices for everything. You can also bring in small coolers with your own food and drinks (non-alcoholic). Short lines and pretty clean makes momma happy. We love getting season passes to keep the kids occupied for the summer!
The kids had a great time.
Veterans & whole family get discount! Mixture of small animals & rides is great. They even have pony rides. Lots of kiddie rides mixed with older kid rides. Some very unique like fire engine to fire & the kids have hose nozzles to put it out (propane). We'll be back.
Great fun & memories...they need to expand the parks other side as it was several years prior with more food choices!
Been a season pass holder for the last several years. First visit this year and not impressed with the experience. The food service has consolidated (no more on Prem Subway) and the quality of service was drastically lower. We spent 25 minutes waiting for two hot dogs and a hamburger before giving up and getting refund. Maybe the tight labor market? They also removed a number of portapotties and a parking lot. So everything but the rides is kinda a disaster. Which makes me wonder about the rides though they seemed maintained at past levels from what I saw.
Super duper fun place, Don't forget to bring swim cloths to have fun in the newly opened water park within the azoonzment park. Worth to have the season's pass. Good for the kids up to 14 year old. Lots of fun verity to love for everyone.
Lot of kid friendly rides...petting zoo..best part is the Parakeet aviary...
We have been to amusement parks all over and this is a favorite. Laid back atmosphere and great staff. We spent all day there. My kids had a great time.
Super fun park for families big or small. Lots of fun and a great price. Tweens and smaller will have a ball. Adults have some classic rides to ride as well. Just a clean and happy family run park.
Great experience, not over crowded. Lots of fun rides and activities to chose for the kids!
Fun for all love Animals wish open later
Good place if you can get cheap tickets!
Amazing place that I can make memories with my kids, from a place I loved growing up!
Great place for kids of all ages.
Great place for toddlers! Staff was attentive and engaged at the rides! Huge deal for parents. Clean nicely landscaped. Fun for my little ones.
It's pricey but fun for small kids!
Great amusement park for families with kids, it's an icon in the area for a good reason.
If you're looking for triple-A level rides, this is not the place to go. It's you're looking for adorable family fair, this is the place. It is also a lot more laid back than the big parks which really lowers the stress level
I am a Active Duty single father. I had no clue this was in my backyard. I have spent a large amount in the Colorado Springs location years ago and never went again. After visiting, they offered here in Dundee free entry for military and my family, had door greaters, a freakin Zoo inside and even some rides for me as an adult. I greatly appreciated the visit and I the kids now have everlasting memories of a location that I hope remains. I was even able to carry my bag inside with towels and more which was good and they had food and all. Don't waste your time with age 11 and younger at six flags when you can enjoy this all day even with a crowd. Thanks again Santa's Village, SFC Harding
Great place to have fun with the family. Although the food is a bit pricey.
We love Santa's Village. I have small kids 2 to be exact. We get the season passes every year. What a wonderful family outting. My kids love coming. Family fun and a great value.
kids had a great time. it wasn't overcrowded.
Great place for kids under 12. Lots of animal and rides.
Great fun for younger children. The park isn't too big, but there is a lot to do with the rides and animals. The water park will be a welcome addition once it opens.
It was a nice time at the park with my goddaughter. It's nice for younger kids up to 10.
My son had a great time.
Beautiful amusement park. Gets better every year. Excellent food plenty of shade and never too crowded
I go every weekend. I hv season pass.
No long lines, plenty of rides for that 12 and under crowd. Clean and well laid out park. Great Value for the money.
Great for the younger set. Rides for toddlers through age ten or so. Surprisingly good food too.
Open 10 am to 5 pm loads and loads of fun we made it there at 10 and was able to make every ride . the food prices are high but you know how that is
Great family fun if you have kids too little for the mega parks. They were very understanding, accommodating and helpful concerning our son w/ special needs.
Absolutely love this place I used to take my children there and now I get to take my grandchildren and my great-granddaughters could not ask for a more friendly staff
Worth the money to go here. Bring my kids all the time and we always have a blast.
