As you know, we don't usually stop to set reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo belongs to the category of Wildlife park.
I’ve never been to a place like this anywhere else. You get to drive next to bears that are freely walking around. It’s scary and exciting at the same time. There is also a petting zoo, they have deer that walk right up to you and eat out of your hand.
Amazing. I had my doubts but the reviews don't lie. Fun place for the kids. Happy, active bears. Thanks for a great family day out.
Fun place. My kids loved it. I wish there were areas to park to take photos of the animals. You are not allowed to stop at all. A walking path around the animal enclosures would be great so you could take pictures. Even better would be some type of catwalk. I couldn't help but feel bad for the male grizzly that was part of the "breading pair". He paced back and forth for hours while we were there. His enclosure seemed so small for him and had a lack of interactive things for him to entertain himself with. Feeding the bears was fun but I am afraid all that bread is making the bears unhealthy, some looked extremely overweight.
Took the Family here and we had great time! The Fudge is Amazing!
Amazing place for toddlers, children, teens and adults! Make sure you drive through the park more than once as the animals are always doing something different! Food and drinks are a little pricey there, so bring your own bottled water. There are a few fun little rides for younger kids, but teens and even adults are able to ride them too. The petting zoo is pretty amazing. Baby deer, momma deer, pigs, goats, ducks and geese are all inside waiting for a treat! There is also a baby bear exhibit and you can pay to feed them. But if you have a large family make sure you book the beat feeding online to ensure all your family gets to feed at the same time. They do have walk up feeding too, but they only allow 2 per feeding time and the times were 11, 2 and 5. We did get stuck there pretty much all day because we couldn't get all our kids into the same feeding schedule but it was still a blast!!
The experience was great, until we ordered fries and drinks to refuel. The workers were way too busy flirting and talking to themselves to prepare our food. It took the Fries and Soda 35 MINUTES to get to us and the fries were mostly cooked and kinda warm. Other than this, the rides, egg hunt and drive thru was great.
The petting zoo and rides are a great way to finish up a trip to Bear World! There are 3 baby albino elk in the drive through exhibit this year
I enjoyed the place but the price is a little steep. They should cut the prices down to $10 a person. Instead of almost $20 when majority of the bears were sleeping and were hard to spot. The ride (drive through) was not that long either. They also charge you to feed the bears and babies am additional $11 to $55 a person on top of the entrance fee of $19 plus tax.
It was a pleasant experience and I was really scared of seeing bears just eye-to-eye, although they did not appear to take really notice of us. I guess they are accustomed to cars driving through their area, but I was NOT! We were told not to stop at all cost, but the car in front of us did and we could but stay and ... brrr There were three newborns (born in April and we went in September) and I enjoyed watching them play; there were also people bottle feeding some other baby-bears, and ... I watched, as it is not for me! I know that children liked the animals of the farm, but we had no child with us so our stay was soon over.
Fantastic opportunity to get really up close to the bears. Optional cub feadings available
The grandkids and adults had a great time, the weather was perfect as well, glad we went!
Love love loved this place!! We went on a Sunday and there were not that many people. We were able to jump on a tour ride to feed the larger bears and I had pre-booked baby bear feeding which was a childhood dream come true! The staff there is passionate about the animals and the folks who fed the baby bears were very informative and obviously love their jobs as well!
Great chance to experience the bears, elks and deer. Loved the pet zoo. Great also for children with little rides for them to go on.
Definitely a must see...if I lived nearby, I would probably be an annual pass holder. The curator tour definitely worth it to see the bears up close.
Had a great experience and will definitely come back. My boys loved it!!
If you want to see bears up close this is worth your time. They are right by your car as you drive through and you have a perfect view. My kids loved it and so did I.
Great for young kids. My special needs daughter had a great time bottle feeding a bear cub. My 3 year old loved the train and goat feeding area. We spent a lot more time here than we planned.
Got some amazing pictures. The bear Cubs are adorable. Feeling the fish and ducks was entertaining.
My sister loves this place. We have gotten car season passes for the last two years, and they have more than paid for themselves. All the rides are free, so it is like an amusement park in that sense, but the rides are more like county fair rides. The food is pricey, but you can take whatever food you want and eat it in your car or at the picnic tables outside. Feeding the bear cubs is a unique experience, and it does come with 1 free picture.
What a great way to spend time with your family. I live in Rexburg so I drive by Yellowstone Bear World almost every day and there isn't a time I drive by when I am not drawn to the wildlife at the park. Our kids love it when we actually drive through the park, we all love the close encounters with the wildlife and especially the bears. It is fun to see the personalities of the bears as you drive by. The gift shop is top notch and has a great selection of gifts and souvenirs, don't miss out on the fudge either. The other attractions such as the getting zoo and amusement rides makes for a very fun and entertaining afternoon
Most bears I've ever seen. I loved the moose and bald eagles too. The kids loved the petty zoo and little roller coaster.
I have not visited this place, nor do I want to visit. It is time we stop using and exploiting animals for our entertainment and pleasure. We should all assume responsibility for this, as places like this would not exist and make money from exploiting animals if we did not stand for it. Yellowstone is very close to this location. If you truly want to experience wildlife and nature, you should visit Yellowstone and take a trail. Learn how to respect animals and co-exist around them and you will be fine. This is not healthy for the cub bears and it could cause them psychological harm.
My wife and I are very big environmentalists and anti-zoo. I really loved Bear World, staff were very nice and the bears seemed very well cared for. I did the bear feeding and it was worth every dollar, great place and I loved the petting zoo, the baby deer was the greatest thing ever! I can’t believe people hunt these amazing creatures, I hope those people burn in hell.
Plan for several hours. We thought it was just a drive through thing, but it is so much more!
Very cool to get right up close to the animals, especially the bears. The petting zoo area was also cool. The deer just walk right up to you. There are also goats, a pig, chickens and ducks that just freely roam around and you can let and feed them. There is a large gift shop with a great variety of merchandise. Season passes are available, which is great for locals if they think they might go three or more times per season. I take my children at least once a week, so it's definitely worth it for us. It's not the same experience every time. Sometimes the animals are very active and just walk right past or in front of your car acting as if you're not even there. Other times, they might be a little more lazy and you might not see too many of them wandering around. Either way, it's still worth the visit.
Amazing! Perfect for families with smaller children. Plenty of parking and shade. Everything is also very reasonably priced for a "theme" park. Will definitely be back!
Very cool for the family, babies everywhere and good food. Great stop for the family. Beware the pigs they bite.
Pricey but super awesome, just remember the animals have to eat. Definitely enjoyed
Best experience! We got to be right next to the bears and deer! It was amazing!
You wanna see a bear, you're going to see many bears right next to your car window. We went on a Wednesday, early September and there was only a handful of people at the park. I imagine summer months it gets quite busy. Petting zoo and fish and duck feed were a hit with our toddler
This place was amazing!! I couldn't believe how close you can get to the bears! The petting zoo was just as fun! They have free rides for the kids & the gift shop is great!!
Nice drive thru animal park. But at $95.35 a carload, I felt it was a little pricey. Add $55/person plus tax to feed the bear cups and a family with three kid a could be out $250. Just be warned.
Great place to see so many bears, white elks, bisons. Animal petting facility available. For bear cub feeding and petting, bookings are done way advance. Super fun place for kids. Worth the amount charged.
If you are near here it is definitely worth s top, especially with kids! You see a ton of bears and other animals like elk, deer, moose, buffalo. They have fun carnival type ridea as well as a petting zoo area. Everything is included in the gate price, my kids loved it and I loved it.
We had a lot of fun. It rained off and on but most of the animals were still active, especially the cute babies. We went on the curators tour and got to feed the deer and older bears. Saw an elk that had just had a baby and a deer who had just had quads! Kids played on the amusement rides. It's a little pricey thus the 4 stars.
Very unprofessional staff, won’t let you leave the park to get lunch and they don’t have any decent food on the property. Big rip off! Beware! Nothing is refundable, you are trapped if you pay and enter.
So cool. What a great place to see nature! The best!
I’ve never been to a place like this anywhere else. You get to drive next to bears that are freely walking around. It’s scary and exciting at the same time. There is also a petting zoo, they have deer that walk right up to you and eat out of your hand.
Fantastic, you can drive through as many times as you want and the gift shop and petting zoo are awesome.
Nice little place to go for an afternoon, nothing fancy. See some bears, feed some animals in the small petting zoo. They do have a website that has information about price and times.
Baby bears were so cool spaces are limited so get there early.
We had an awesome time. With kids ranging from 1-17 there was something for everyone. We were able to score a great deal from our motel so it was more than affordable. We spent the entire day there for less than $50 which is impossible to do with a family of 7 anywhere these days. We drove through the park twice, spent quite a while in the petting zoo and watching the baby bears play, and the kids spent several hours riding the rides, feeding the fish and ducks and enjoying snow cones. The bathrooms and the entire park were clean and well kept. The staff were all friendly and the animals appeared to be very well taken care of. Definitely worth the drive and we'll absolutely be back!
Such a cool place! My kids loved it, and so did I! Seeing all of the animals was amazing. I thought the price to get in was very reasonable.
The drive-thru was very enjoyable and cool to see all the animals but I noticed the metal sheets around the trees in the bear habitat and the wired fences. It was sad to see the animals confined into such a small space packed with many other bears. The petting zoo was also very poor as they should list more rules. I broke like 6 rules without knowing because they didn't list them.
It is my favorite place to go now. There are awesome rides they also have delicious ice cream. There animals are adorable and there petting zoo is delightful. The petting zoo has goats, ducks, deer, peacocks, wart hogs, etc. They have reasonable prices. You can pay to feed baby Cubs. They also have a gift shop. If the owner of this place is reading this you have made a delightful, beautiful, awesome, and fun place for all ages!!
This was an awesome stop right before we head out to Yellowstone National Park. Highly recommend!
Love this place, friendly staff fun for kids and family. Awesome park to drive through. Amazing value. Definitely would recommend visiting for anyone.
You'll see it all here. And close up. We had a blast.
This place was an amazing experience (though not in Yellowstone). Seeing the wildlife up close can't be missed. Highly recommend the bear cub feeding. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it. You will have a memory for a lifetime.
Awesome I got some amazing pictures they are right up next to you
Bears are held for 1 year as cubs in a very small place surrounded by electric fence without shade.. after that they are sent to another small area for one more year along with other 1 year old bears. After that they are all put together in a fenced “playground” that has metal tunnels with rusted edges (I saw one bear scratch his back on one of these tunnels..) Bears in the wild separate from their mom after 2 years, here they are separated after two months. It is probably the only place to see bears because it was hard finding one in the wild in Yellowstone (where I was) but then again we are invading their habitat, not the other way around. There are like 3 bison and some elk and a moose that look bored and sad as hell.. It is a good place for kids because they get excited but morally it is the worse place for a wild animal to be at.
This place was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would be a typical tourist trap type of place but it was awesome! You pay 1 price to get in and that includes watching the adorable baby bears, riding the rides, visiting the petting zoo (they have deer!), AND driving through the bigger animal sections. We expected to be there 20 minutes and ended up enjoying about 3 hours.
Very fun to drive around and see all the animals. They are pretty strict about staying in your car around the bears and I’m not sure why. They are so cute and fluffy and I just want to play with them. I’m assuming they are all tame. Let us have some fun ! Geez!
This place was absolutely incredible!!!! I don’t know why people don’t hype it up more. Sooo much fun. Loved seeing the bears and elk and the petting zoo at the end was WAY fun. 10/10 would recommend going.
My best friend told me about a magical place where she fed bears as a kid, and to be honest, I didn't believe her. My mind is completely changed after my visit to Yellowstone Bear World. I must have seen at least 30 grown bears and 6 babies! It was such a fun experience, I'm planning my next trip already!
A neat place to visit, fun to take visiting family
I loved this because its an opportunity to see Mtn. Goats, deer, bison, elk, grizzly, black bear and moose in a natural setting from the security and comfort of your vehicle, admission also includes a very nice gift shop, petting zoo, amusement rides and cafe. For an extra fee there is opportunity to bottle feed baby bears or ride an open air vehicle and feed the animals through the driving park. Highly recommend for families and worth the drive to Rexburg from Yellowstone Park or Idaho Falls.
Perfect for my little kids. It was an enjoyable time for our whole family. Reasonable prices too
We take the kids every year. Great place!
Clean and fun! They have nice habitats for the bears. My kids loved it!! Highly recommend!
These baby deer are so cute in the petting zoo part of bear world. Love it.

Cute little place ti take the kids. Drive thru and look at bears and other animals.. 4 carnival rides.. took about a hour and a half to get thru.
This park was awesome! Some of the bears were pacing which made us unhappy but then we learned it was mating season! The bears have been raised together and get along. The babies are darling! There were two sets of 3. Highly recommend!
Was a fun time. The petting zoo was impressive. Staff was great!!
Kids really enjoyed going here. Loved all the animals and the rides
Well worth the money it costs to get in. Great views and much more to do than just drive around.
This place was like heaven for me. We were able to drive through the park and see elk, bison, goats, and of course bears. Inside the park there are rides where the little ones can ride as many times as they want. There are also cubs to see and an excursion to take you into the park in a bus to feed the animals. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves bears as much as I do.
Love bringing the kids here. They always love it!
Very fun to drive around and see all the animals. They are pretty strict about staying in your car around the bears and I’m not sure why. They are so cute and fluffy and I just want to play with them. I’m assuming they are all tame. Let us have some fun ! Geez!

So fun! Saw lots of wildlife and active bears! Bears seem more active in the mornings. A lot of fun for kids of all ages and the amusement park rides didn't have very long lines. This place was great!!
This place is nice. Especially if you were hoping to see some wild life and havent yet. It is definitely a unique experience with the bears able to walk right up to your car. Everything else is for children. Though everyone wants to see the bear cubs play. If you happen to be passing through i think its worth it but it is not a totally amazing experience.
The bears come right up to the car...its great. I love enjoying the baby bears and the petting zoo also . I bought my grand children stuffed porcupines...they were on sale and cute. .I love bear world.I go several times each year..
Great way to see bears, deer, elk, and other animals native to the region. If you can make it in the spring, you can find baby and young animals. The bear cubs wrestling match was the best! Petting zoo was great, and the little kids (ages 12-4) kept kids entertained far longer than I anticipated.
This is a little place off US-20 and a great place to go! The admission was fine, the animal places were nice. I witnessed a mom deer having a baby deer! The bears were normal-ish. We went to the petting zoo and the animals were swarming us for some reason. After we went to the duck and fish pond. This is a great place for young kiddos and adults!
For the price I paid I expected a lot more. My kiddos had fun though, they have a small carnival area kids seem to enjoy a lot.
Very well done drive thru park that includes multiple species found in the area. The bears were especially cute!
We loved it! So much shade and fun thi gs for my littles to do.
This was such a cool experience! We drove through the park which is awesome on its own. However then we paid the extra amount to feed the bears which was AMAZING! I highly recommend this place. It was an once in a life time experience.
Cone one come All this place is sweet get the only thing this place is missing is a a place to get your grocherys good food wild life and sweet park staff
It was AMAZING! Especially if you have kiddos. My son 2 year old loved all the animals. And the rides were fun & food was good. We did the excursion so we could feed the bears. So cool being that close.
Always a great place to visit! 4 fawns were born today (to the same Mamma), it was really neat to see them! This is a great place for people of all ages. We visit at least once a year. The bears were very active today. A must see!
So many wild creatures up close. We always enjoy it
Not worth the value. Did not feel like $20 a head was worth it. More like $10-$15 would make this review 5 stars.
It has so many animals to look at, which made it worth the expense. The thing that really put my kids over the top was the rides. They're best for younger kids. Teens might not be excited, but my elementary and preschool and toddler kids absolutely loved them and rode each one several times. Then we finished with the petting zoo and they were happy and tired when they got in the car for the last leg of the trip.
This place was an awesome place to visit. You start out driving though the park. The first half has deer, elk, bison, moose. The second half has the bears. They have a couple Grizzlies and a bunch of roaming black bears. After driving through, they have a petting zoo and the baby black bears. For and extra charge you can ride on the zoo's bus and feed the black bears. They also have a bottle feeding experience where you can feed the baby black bears. Every part we experience was amazing and I can't wait to go back.
Fun!! Kids enjoyed it too!! Do the guided tour for a more up close experience! You won't regret the extra 10 bucks per person!
Great place to stop and stretch your legs while driving to Yellowstone. We spent 2 hrs there and had a ball.
This was the best part of my day!! The drive through was beyond what I have experienced for this type of park. The petting zoo was wonderful. Even a small ride's park. It has it all for a reasonable amount.
What a amazing experience truly breath taking ❤️. So much to do in so little time I was able to also do the family feeding which was so much fun and very educational and the staff member was truly so awesome he also stated he was a intern so I was so surprised of all the knowledge and patience he had best experience
Such a great place to visit. Beats and a petting area- but fortunately not together!
Oh Wow, this was just splendid!! My sister took me here for my birthday almost exactly a month ago, on September 7th, 2019. All of this time, and I'd never been there. What a truly wonderful trip. A person could have spent an entire day there. Especially since the ticket price includes and covers the cost on all of the rides at the end for the children. And if I'm not mistaken, repeated trips back through this beautifully maintained and wonderful refuge for all of these gorgeous animals! It will be among a handful of very memorable days. Please note: these photos were taken from INSIDE the car. At NO POINT were any windows put down, nor doors opened. The photos were taken with out special filters with my phone, and then zoomed in and cropped to achieve the pictures that I wanted. It was quite a wonderful, breathtaking day.
Experience was great, but you could tell the employees were ready to go home a half hour before closing. Burgers smelt great, but the guy said he couldn't sell us any at 5:25 when they close at 6 cause he already cleaned his stuff up. Baby bears were adorable!
Very pricey take a car load for 90.00 instead of 20 a person. But very fun. With the rides and petting zoo. There is a goat that knows how to work the snack machine. Wow.
We really enjoy taking out our daughter to see the petting zoo. There isn't much shade which is unfortunate for our daughter as she is a pastey red head but otherwise this place is great as long as you can get one if you in free on mother's day. Otherwise it's too expensive to pay 20 bucks for every person in my opinion.
It's a wonderful place for families. My kids love all of it from the animals, ( not just bears), the rides, the baby bear enclousure, and the gift shop. It is a little expensive but you can spend a few hours there.
Great experience and many healthy animals. Wonderful place to also see some baby bears :) Definitely worthwile to spend 2-3 hours!
We went to the Easter Egg Hunt on opening day. So it's to be expected that it was busy. And being our first time going to Yellowstone Bear World we didn't know what to expect. Driving through the park was pretty cool. The bears had just come out of hibernation, so they weren't to active. So that made for some pretty good photos. The little amusement park they have is geared towards 5-12 yr olds. The lines were kinda long, but like I said Opening Day Easter.... so to be expected. Overall I recommend going at least once.
Visited this place right after opening in 1998, and went 5 more Times over the years. This place is amazing for those of us who don't have the opportunity to see wildlife but always hope to when we visit the parks. It is pretty exciting to drive through the Grizzly section. The 1st visit, there wasn't as many attractions as now. Just One Grizzly and several black bears and wolves with some Elk, and a petting zoo. But listening to that big Grizzly pace in front of my truck for several minutes and the thrill of being that close to my Favorite animal? SOOOOOO Worth the time and money. Going again soon. Thank you to all those who work at the park to make it such a joy to visit! You are all amazing people! Thank you so much, Sincerely, J.C. Sandy, UT.
For years we’ve driven by and wanted to go here, but the price always deterred us. We finally bit the bullet and went. You’ll definitely see bears. it is pretty cool, but $90 for a 20 min drive. I don’t want to say it’s not worth it, but we probably my wouldn’t pay to do it again. It’s like a “one and done” type deal. Seems like $50-$60 would make more sense, although I’m sure feeding 75 bears isn’t cheap. The petting zoo was great and you will see lots of bears!
Kids love it. I loved it! Different experience being in the vehicle
Lot of bears!!! The experience of watching them so close was great. However, it's sad that so many of them are living in such a small area. The park is not big enough to give them their space.
Loved it. Our kids enjoyed seeing all of the animals that were there.
Surprisingly more bears than I had expected and a bunch of them were out doing stuff rather than just laying around. Kiddie rides are free with your ticket, which is a nice perk too. Clean, fun, and friendly, had a great time.
It was one of the best "tourist" places I've been! It was awsome to drive among the wildlife and see them up close. Highly recommend this adventure.
It was really sad seeing all the bears Inside metal electric fences .When I heard of this place I thought it was a shelter for hurt animals but in the end was a cramped place for 20 or more bears. The worst of all the grizzly bear was trapped in a small area and looked irritated there was not that much grass or shelter in his area either. I sadly watched as he tried to get out.He walked the perimeter of the fence he looked irritated and stopped and shuck his head .What also was horrible, the trees had metal sheets around them making it so the bears can’t be free and climb the trees. Even if you didn’t see bears in Yellowstone, which the place clearly has in its name, u shouldn’t go. If u want to see happy bears in their natural environment don’t come here.
Truly loved this place. If you really want to see the animals that are in Yellowstone you can come here and have close look and even pet them. I will definitely come back to this place again
Loved it, great for kids too. Try going as early to open. The
Love this place and my family enjoyed the fun rides
Kids enjoyed seeing the bears, definitely worth the trip. We Houstonians can’t wait to come back again and see how much the baby cubs have grown!
Great place! Had a fun time and will be back!
Always fun. Pricey but great
Guaranteed animal sightings as well as a miniature ride park for families. The shop is fun and they have awesome fudge.
Really cool place bit the petting zoo was very small and unimpressive. The drive through to see the bears wasn't great. You could barely see the bears. The grass was too tall and over all it was pretty cool but the price was too high.
This was probably the best choice of our camping trip.... The kids loved every minute that we were in the park. Was a little worried about the admission price but it was well worth the money, plan on spending several hours at Yellowstone Bear World!!!
Very fun for all ages, and plenty of things to keep kids entertained.
We love Bear World! Always a great experience especially with the kids.
I got to feed some baby bears! You have to make an appointment, but it was soooo worth it. Bears and wildlife everywhere in the park and so close up! Got many great pictures!
Awesome location to take your family. You are able to get close up to many animals that you could only dream of seeing in Yellowstone. I highly recommend going here
It was cool, quite a few bears. But not big bears they were all kinda small. The white elk was really neat though. And you can drive through multiple times.
Oh Wow, this was just splendid!! My sister took me here for my birthday almost exactly a month ago, on September 7th, 2019. All of this time, and I'd never been there. What a truly wonderful trip. We did the bus tour which was really neat! The tour guide had all sorts of information I had never heard before about the different animals they have. Of course they have bears, but they also have a good selection of other animals too. On the bus tour you get to throw food out at the bears. I recommend wadding the bread up into balls to be able to throw the food further to them. They have a petting zoo which is fun for the kids. They also have bear cubs that you can watch which are really cute. They will wrestle around with each other. We didn’t get to, but you can feed their cubs for an additional price as well.
Very neat experience. Lots of Bears walking right next to your vehicle while you drive through. Lots of different animals and the Bear Cubs are pretty darn awesome.
This is the best place ever!! You get to see so much wildlife in a natural habitat!! The black bears roam free in the area and you get to drive thru and see them! Plus the other wild life. Also they have some tours you can go on and feed them off the truck! They also have the baby bears that you can bottle feed! This is seriously worth it!!
Bears walk up to your car! And petting zoo is lots of fun
Have a wonderful visit with the family. We attended on Easter weekend so it was quite busy, but the 1/2 off more than made up for it. We enjoyed the drive through of the park and my 3 year old grandson loved the rides. The Easter Egg Hunt was fun and not too overwhelming for my 18 month old granddaughter. A fun day was had by all
Bear cubs taken away from their mothers at two months? Criminal. I was told by an employee this is to protect the cubs from other bears. Seriously??!!! Here's an idea... How about building an appropriate enclosure for a bear to nurture her young with the gi-normous fees each car pays? Our car of three adults paid $60 and spent approximately 20 minutes here. Get real. Be honest and integral, Bear World.
Awesome experience. Well worth the money. So many bears to see and they get so close! Clean and well kept. Friendly staff. Great gift shop
My mind was blown! I have driven by this place numerous occasions.....and my nephew, suggested we swing on by. WOW. You better make an effort to go to BEAR WORLD otherwise you are missing out.
My kiddos and I had so much fun our first time at Bear World!
This was my family's first time coming to Bear World and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Never have we ever seen bears so close. Zoos can't give you the same experience. If you like bears, then this is the place to come to. Or if your on your way to Yellowstone and are tired of driving, then you really should stop and take a walk around this park after you drive among the bears. They have rides, a petting zoo, food, a bear experience that let's you feed the bears. Definitely, you should stop and enjoy what they have to offer.
Experience was great, but you could tell the employees were ready to go home a half hour before closing. Burgers smelt great, but the guy said he couldn't sell us any at 5:25 when they close at 6 cause he already cleaned his stuff up. Baby bears were adorable!
Loved this place! So many bears to see. This was our first time visiting and we cannot wait to go again. Even the rides were a blast!
Perfect to being your kids! Safari-like drive right by 50-100 bears (one crossed the road in front of us!) along with other fun animals. Then there’s a petting zoo area with baby dear, chickens, warthogs, and more and you just get to walk around with and pet them! And on top of that they have fun carnival rides ideal for ages 2-10 I’d say. You can even bottle feed a baby bear for $50 extra (we didn’t but wanted to!)
Yellowstone Bear World is a fun stop for our family. We love watching the baby bears and the children love riding the rides in addition to seeing the bears and other animals.
Kids absolutely loved it. They have around 75 bears including grizzlies. Petting zoo and rides are fun for the kids.
Bear World was really fun! You drive through a whole bunch of cool animals like bears deer and buffalo and more. But then at the end there's some carnival rides, petting zoo, gift shop and more. I'll come again much more.
The drive thru experience was good - there were elk (some cool white ones too), bison, deer, and of course bears. Lots of bears, including a few grizzlies. The amusement park section wasn't as good. There were only 5 rides but 2 or 3 people running them, so we had to wait in line for a long time. Definitely need more staff on the rides!
you can see lot of bears and their cute cubs from very close range and feed them as well, awesome!
This was really fun! My kids had a great time watching the bears, feeding the ducks, geese, pigs, & other animals. Was totally worth it!
We absolutely loved our experience in this park! They have 74 (!) bears, a couple of bisons, deers, elks (even white elks)! All the animals were pretty active: walking around, swimming in small ponds. There’re also a small area with 6 bear cubs, who were extremely active and adorable! You can also get a tour where you have a chance to feed bears from the bus. You can bottle feed bear cubs as well! There’s a nice area with other animals you can pet and feed. All 5 of us had an excellent time here and I can definitely recommend this place for everyone! It’s very interesting for adults and kids!
What a fun spot to visit with the family. There are lots of bears to see up close, plus other animals like deer and a fun petting zoo and mini amusement park for the kids.
Awesome Must Seen if visiting Idaho Falls
Bear World, Bear World, Bear World! Stopped here on our Yellowstone trip. Kids loved it. And we fed bears. Pretty sweet.
I was really impressed by this place. The animals were so close during the car drive. Bears were crossing right in front of us. The petting zoo was unique and fun, and our kids loved feeding the animals. The baby bears were too cute. We didn't do the bottle feeding, but it looked fun. It helped my family get a great animal fix after seeing so few in Yellowstone Park. Definitely would recommend.
I have driven by this for years, but I finally stopped and wasn't disappointed! If you can afford the fee to get in, it's worth spending a couple hours here. Petting area was real cool, but watch out, the hogs bite! The goats and other animals eat right from your hands. Bring quarters to buy food from the little dispensers to fed the animals.
It was pretty neat to see the bears. Black bears and grizzly. There were mountain goats, elk, moose as well. They had a small petting zoo with goats and deer. Not sure how healthy the animals are though. Free rides included with admission for kids.
We spent about 3.5 hours here. It was so fun to drive through the park! Besides that, the kids liked the little rides but there weren't attendants at all of them which meant waiting for an attendant to finish at one ride before kids could get on the one they wanted to get on. The highlight for us was the bear excursion...which was not included in admission, but was worth the extra $12pp. Bottle feeding was out of our price range at $55pp!
Quaint little place and it felt like the people working there really cared for their animals. I could see a lot of love. Mini rides in the park was the icing on the cake. Definite must see if you are in Rexburg.
Bear World is fun, but way over priced. The staff on the tours aren't very well educated. If you're willing to spend that money, it's still a good time however. Fun for all ages
Pretty underwhelming. Employees were rude and the bears looked sad not at all what I was expecting. I thought this was a part of Yellowstone like the real park. This is just a crummy roadside attraction tourist trap. Don't waste your time or money
We went because it sounded pretty neat! We were pretty disappointed we paid $42 for 2 of us! the bears were not very active driving through we got yelled at for taking a road because it was a service road yet there are no signs saying that! The turing signs are so small and brown you can hardly see them! I feel like it was over priced! Maybe if we had our son it would have been fun for the rides and petting zoo but they should have a different rate if you just want to drive through. You cant roll your windows down or stop to take any pictures! All the bears look sad and miserable! Also a bunch of bears being locked in a tiny electric fence area is pretty messed up!
A once of a kind experience! The staff are very nice and helpful! The grpunds are well kept and cleaned constantly! Fun for everyone in the family!
Such a magical place! We spent a whole day there and loved every minute. Well worth the travel, money and time. Just about the only thing to do in the Rexburg area too!
Awesome park. Lots of animals and very very enjoyable.
Bear world was fun. My family enjoyed feeding the baby Bears. I think we drove through the park 6 times. It seemed a little excessive but was fun.
A little pricey, but well worth it for the wildlife available to see, especially the white elk! Beautiful swans, baby bears and new born deer...Great place for the family.
Great experience, saw lots of bears, a few elk and buffalo. Family all had fun.
Mom, grandson, daughter and I went on a half price day. I expected to see bears but didn't expect the amusement park that they had. It was just right for my three-year-old grandson. We took the wilderness excursion which is a guided tour through the wild animal enclosure. Besides getting a lot of information about the bears we were also able to feed them from the safety of our truck. It was a great day!
Really cool but about $90 a car. In my opinion that a lot to drive through and look at animals.
Great experience for a family! Most people will never see a grizzly bear outside of National Geographic. Here's your chance.
I read so many reviews about this place. I really wanted to see these Grizzlies or black bears, took binoculars just to spot animals. Was very disappointed that i couldnt find bears. To be honest even though i do not support animals in captivity, this place made it possible to see those gigantic bears. They have so many of them and you can take as many rounds as you need inside.
It's relatively small, but it was a fun place to go. You can go through several times as long as you don't leave the property, so definitely take advantage of that. Tickets are also $1 cheaper online, so get them there to save yourself some money.
Great fun. Best place to see bears. Even the rides were great fun for the kids. Best petting zoo, I have been to.
Totally Cool! The people who work there were great! It was really interesting and exciting to drive thru bears and learn about those.
Great place to see mtn goats, bison, elk and bear. You drive through so they are close. There are moose too but we only saw a young one. There is a petting zoo too. You can pay extra to pet baby bears. The gift shop is large.
Our whole family had an amazing time! Cost about $60 for our family of 4 to have a full day of fun. The drive-thru part is really cool with lots of bears and other wildlife and after you're done with that lots of unlimited amusement rides for kids in the 4-13yr age bracket (though i at 38 went on a few of them and had fun), and also the petting zoo area is really neat with our highlight being the deer (adults as well as 3 baby deer). Really clean and well kept place. Definitely plan to go again.
It's a great place to spend a few hours with your family! They need a drinking fountain very badly, and the milkshakes were "meh", but we love coming here and have 3 times. The rides are meant for small children just so you are aware. You will see elk including a white elk that is very unique, many bears including babies, bison, deer, mountain goats, and a very fun petting zoo with adorable, tame animals. You are able to pay extra for feeding the baby bears and taking a guided tour through the park.
Was ok. Was at Bear Country USA earlier this year and it was WAY better. I thought the areas for the animals were way too small and more fencing than usual for a drive through park. It was still neat to see the animals.
More fun than we expected! The lungs already can't wait to go again!
Very amazing and great time. Good family activity, awesome personal contact with some animals!
Awesome place lots of animals. If you don't see a bear your eyes must be closed.
So much wildlife to see! All of the animals are in their own designated habitat areas within parks drive through tour. There were a couple of fawns in the petting zoo area that, we felt, should have been out of the public area because of sickness. One had clearly had an intestinal issue and had quite a mess going on. We did tell a worker and she said that they take care of animals issues after hours... :-/ Aside from that, the animals were well taken care of and seemed fine.
Very cool. Loved the Feed The Bears excursion, and petting the baby deer!
Fun place, tons of bears AMD other animals. Cubs are cute
We love bear world. HAYDEN WAS THE BOMB! He helped us get on the curator ride and was an absolute Joy.
This place is awesome, excellent for kids of all ages. Would definitely go again.
Great time. Up close. Baby bears were my favorite
