Loved this place! You can walk around wherever you want and can go around to everything in your own time. It wasn't very expensive for what it is and you get to see so many beautiful plants and animals! The baby animals were especially adorable!

Rhonda Pascual

Fun place to spend some time and to see the animals. It is a little pricey though. For example, the lemur experience is $35 here, but in Gulf Shores, Alabama ,it is $5 at their zoo. Animal food is also priced higher than most zoos I have been to. Still,it is worth going to . The gift shop need more variety and more affordable options.

Matt Lee

Really cool place to let different animals. Most are common farm animals like goats, ponies, donkey, and rabbits but the alpacas, giraffes, and aviary where birds might land on you was pretty cool. Also had a gorgeous tiger. The donkey reminds me of Ricky the old hormone monster from Big Mouth!!!

Oakly packers

A wonderful place to spend the afternoon learning about exotic animals. The staff here clearly love their jobs and the animals.

Rusty Johnson

I really enjoyed the zoo! For a small zoo you can really get up close to the animals to touch and pet them! Would go again!

Jesse Walthour

Did the gator experience it was great friendly staff!

Amanda Dowell

We loved it!! Great experience with lots of animals to feed. Definitely worth the money. Something for all ages.

Leo R

Amazing not so big but is enough to have you wow all the time....

Cathy Solis

We were fortunate to have a park guide fill us in on which animals were rescues and which were donations from individuals who could no longer care for their mostly exotic pets. The animals here are cared for in a knowledgeable, loving atmosphere. It is good to see endangered species being saved. The relationship between the capybara and a cockatoo is especially endearing. The baby sloth we saw and photographed today was super special as well.

Charlena Cortez

Love this place! First zoo experience with my children and I. We had a blast with the animals and interacting with them... We definitely are going back when the Lions exhibit is fixed.

Thai in Alabama

The best $20 I have spent in Panama city beach! Tons of animals!! You can pet animal for extra $$ Loved this place!!!

Nicole Hardman

The place was really small and much was destroyed during the hurricane. Many of the animals seemed sad/distressed and cramped in the tiny cages. Feeding the giraffes was a great experience and they seemed so happy. I would also recommend going into the bird enclosure, it was fun.

Fred Chabot

The park is very well kept. I enjoy coming here with friends and family. Animals always look healthy to me.

Brittany Murray

I was hesitant to go to this place based on the reviews that said the animals were treated inhumanely. I should have listened and stayed away. I cannot adequately put into words how horrible this place is. None of the animals had near enough space and the enclosures were filthy. The lion and bear was in a tiny cage and all they could do was pace back and forth. You could tell they'd gone a bit crazy. There were social animals who need to be around others of their own kind who were left in a pen by themselves while other animals who prefer to be alone were lumped in with many other animals. The petting zoo was overrun with children whose parents don't care how their children treat the animals. We saw children hitting and poking at the animals. This place is a business that only cares about making money and gives zero consideration to the animals. If I could give this place 0 stars I would and I am ashamed that I gave this place my money. I hope that it will be shut down one day.

Went with my daughter(21) & 3 nieces, ages 12 & 5 while on a family beach vacation. We all enjoyed seeing the animals and feeding them. The 5 year old twins especially loved the guinea pig tunnel & feeding the birds, goats & giraffes. I took some great photos & we all had a great time! They are doing construction in some areas, so, some exhibits were difficult to see well. (Flamingos) The sidewalks in the area behind snack bar, by the marmosets is VERY uneven, jagged. One of my 5 yo nieces tripped on it & fell down, scraped up her arm and spilled her ICEE. So just watch your step if you go. I thought admission prices were fairly reasonable, as were some of the gift shop items, but, the drink prices are ridiculous! We spent $43 on drinks during our 2 hour tour (90° day).

Jackye Fuentes

Beatiful place, was amazing see the cocodrile.

We are from Atlanta and have been to the Atlanta Zoo. My 10 and 7 year old said that this zoo is the best they have ever been to. 1) you are so much closer to the animals. 2). The staff are friendly (the zookeeper discussed the pros and cons of being a vet vs a zookeeper with my 7 yr old who is undecided) 3). They walked around with a 2 yr old porcupine that kids could see closer (apparently, it wasn’t the same as quilly North American ones) 4) they have animals we haven’t seen before like the bearcat. 5) the tiger actually could be seen and was moving around. 6) they could feed some baby deer and pet rabbits along with the usual petting zoo animals. 7) they were able to feed giraffe for $5. Get the feeding combo for $10. Totally worth it. Don’t feed the Rhea like they say you can. It didn’t peck my girls eye out but it DID peck her arm just for the heck of it.

Jordan Goodwin

My wife and I had an amazing time here. Spend the extra and do the giraffe adventure. It's very well worth it.

Jamie Johnson

So much fun! My family and I loved it! Very informational and a lot of fun! The zoo was very well kept and clean. Environment was very fun and family oriented. Zookeepers were very friendly, helpful, up to date on facts/information, and very passionate about their jobs/the animals. They have many different kinds of hands on learning encounters/petting zoos for people to sign up for animal encounters. Allowing anyone to have a safe and fun up close and personal experience with the animals along with learning a lot of interesting facts/information about the different animals they have in the zoo.

calvin beard

Small friendly, limited. Small collection of animals and a petting zoo. Difficult wheel chair access. Feeding the gators is worth the admission price.

Josie Benedict

Had so much fun here! They have animal encounters, you can pet sloths or cuddle lemurs, we chose the sloths and it was life changing! So many animals to see and feed. The staff was very friendly and informative!

Denise Swann

I felt very sad for the animals kept here. Enclosures are very small, no shade, and no enrichment provided. We did not stay long as we did not want to support how these animals are being kept.

Judith Fairfield

we loved it were from out of town and decided to see & feed the animals!! OUR favorite things was feeding the gators& the bird sanctuary was my favorite part the birds was a delight we feed them and it was a PLEASANT experience never did that BEFOR they were gentle and LOVE to perch on you and eat the stick of food, also feeding the giraffe's was a delight I would highly recommend ZOO WORLD IT'S A NICE GEM!!!

The Doctor

No trained animal shows here. But they do have lions and tigers and bears. Oh my. The closest you'll ever come to walking the yellow brick road. Ve sure to visit the enclosed budgie cage. But be warned the birds will swoop in on you. Landing on your head, your shoulders, your feet. Climbing around on your neck and head. It's like tickle torture lol.

msemilynew

Very neat place to go with small children! Nice exhibits that you can get up close to and affordable animal encounters!

Rachel

Small, but worth the visit. You get an up close and personal with all the animals.

motomaniac 69420

The animals were very fun to see. The problem with this place is how small it is and how crammed the animals are in very small enclosures. And when I went they were building even more exhibits which will squeeze them all in more. The tiger looked under fed and was pacing. When big cats pace like that it's because they are stressed out. One of the baby goats horns was broken and he was bleeding from the side of his head but all the zoo workers just went about their days like nothing ever happened. The giraffs have a pin that is probably 30x15 ft with a very small barn to go inside. I'm not a big fan of places like this because it's not fair to the animals.

Richard Huczko

Fun. Not too expensive. Didnt go for the feeding but had a great time looking at and getting up close to the animals. A lot more variety than I thought.

Tyler Lendo

Amazing zoo to visit. I've been here multiple times and there is always something new to do. They now have a large alligator pond and can buy food to feed them. There's also a aviary that you can walk in and hand feed the birds. My personal favorite is the animal encounters which includes lemurs and sloths. I've only done the lemurs and it's always an amazing experience. There's also a petting zoo and lots of small things to do.

Stella Moon

Lemars where so much fun. They have a baby and adult sloths. BEST PLACE EVER

Jason Travis

Fun zoo.... and the petting zoo is great...

Angela McGehee

It was fun. Went there on a field trip and it was a lot of fun. I'm disappointed that it's so expensive to have an "up close" experience with some of the animals. The zookeepers are knowledgeable and I really enjoyed talking to the giraffe keeper. Thanks!

Michele Saucier

We had so much fun! The staff was informative and excited about their job. We paid $35.00 each to hang out one on one with the lemurs, and $35.00 each to hang out with the giraffes - worth every penny!

BrianTami Holley

We visited ZooWorld with our daughter on a field trip. It took roughly 3 hours to casually see everything and interact with the animals. The animals and the grounds were well kept. All of the workers were polite and helpful. Feeding the giraffe and the birds were the highlights for my daughter. This is not a full size zoo but a better experience than some of the zoo's close to this location.

Shark Milez

This place is awesome! You cannot miss it! I love how it has the exhibits of guinea pigs and the exhibit of snakes and turtles and even bunnies! They also have a giraffe exhibit, a deer exhibit and an alligator exhibit and it is so cool! And they have a gift shop. Stuffed animals of a lot of different kinds of animals you might see there or somewhere else. What is really cool is that you can pay for a interaction with the animals such as lemurs and sloths. You can also feed the animals! You can feed the giraffes lettuce and you can feed the alligators alligator food and you can feed the other animals the food that you can buy at the front desk

Tomsr Smith

This is a great place to bring the whole family and have a great time. Highly recommend for everyone to come and feed the birds and other animals.

Neal Doherty

This place has a lot of wildlife packed into a very walkable space. It's great for younger kids. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable (thank you Erika!). There is a wonderful petting zoo. It's very interactive.

bucholz 1369

Awesome place plenty of animals. Very friendly staff was a real pleasure

Rhonda Pattetson

Wonderful experience! Beautiful animals and super friendly staff. Really a great place to visit with the whole family!!

barbara hood

We had my daughter's birthday dinner at Capt. Jack"s. It was worth the wait on a Friday night. I wish someone told me both sides of the buffet are open sooner. Great memories!

Charles Ferry

Had a great time watching and interacting with the different birds and animals at this nice little zoo.

T Mitchell

It's small clean, animals well cared for. Under construction. Takes just over an hour and half if your kids are used to most barnyard critters. Few exotics exist giraffe, monkeys, porcupine. Kids like feeding the critters most. Giraffe the best. Need to repair walkway at entrance..

Ivan Peters

Love all the upgrades you guys have done the Lemur exhibit and interaction was awesome the new bird aviary was really nice as well

Chris Haven

A lot of exhibits were under construction at the time. Like they kept starting projects and stopping in the middle. However, the overall experience was a good one. My son enjoyed himself and the animals. You can get closer to most of the animals than you typically would at a larger zoo.

Molly Brown

It is a neat little park. A bit pricey but fun. They have everything from gerbils and rabbits to bears and a tiger. We played with sloths which was fun. Next time we'll do the lemur encounter instead. The lemurs climb all over you. There is still repair work being done from Hurricane Michael damage and parts of the park blocked off. But still plenty to do. We were there a couple of hours.

Elizabeth Capps

Absolutely amazing! Not a very big zoo but just enough, has lots of animals. Petting and feeding areas are great! Very interactive. Whole zoo is shaded and there are misting fans(will change your life) All staff are very friendly and sweet. Great family time, second time visiting and will go again for sure.

Kendall Evans

What an awesome place! We had the best time! My husband and son got to have a meet and greet with 3 super chill sloths (they are my husband's spirit animal)! I had a life fulfilling dream come true by feeding 2 beautiful giraffes (they are MY spirit animal)! Their prices are affordable and absolutely worth the experience, you will not be disappointed! Thank you to Zoo World and their staff for a great time and for a family vacation we will cherish forever

Lisa Conkling

Very clean and great children interaction with kids. The new gold mining for treasure is a must!

Michael Morris

Whether you are on vacation or a local, Zoo world is a must-visit for anyone, especially if you have a family and kids. The exhibits are nice and well taken care of. They have nice tree-lined walk for shade in plenty of benches for resting in between you're viewing. They also offer interactive shows throughout the day for various animal types. Some are free and some have a price tag attached however they are very much worth every penny. Bring a camera because this will be a visit you want to remember.

EDNA MAE Perdue

Great serivce outstanding help I enjoy

Chris Allensworth

We really enjoyed! We had a group of teens and they had a lot of fun.

Southport King

It's a charming zoo. They have some encounters that are great. The staff is kind and they seem kind to the animals.

Jerry Pipkins

Good place for the fam and they take really good care of the animals.

Fahren Magee

We call it the sketchy zoo. Keep a close eye on your kids but still fun

Lalia Cruz

I love Zoo World! So many great animals to see, learn about, & interact with. Fun petting area, and the staff is always as sweet as can be & super helpful.

donald wojcik

Very nice family friendly zoo. Also farm animals for feeding and petting. Lots of construction from hurricane damage, otherwise five star.

Lorri Holland

The hurricane really did a number on it. I cant wait until they are done with repairs. They are moving fastly though. The rock exhibit is awesome. We go mostly for the birds though. Not sure who likes it better, me or the kids.

Robin Dismuke

I am only giving this place a star because I have too, the conditions that these animals are living in is completely horrendous! The bears and the tiger are completely miserable, no shade, no water most of the time, I ask everyone that has visited this place to please write PETA and tell them the conditions that these poor animals are living in! these animals don’t have a voice we have to be their voice! I am making a complaint to PETA and I ask everyone else to do so too!! Please help me help these poor animals!!!

Anna Fox

So many different animals to view. Clean park and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I loved the Lemur Encounter. Best experience I had and the pictures came out amazing thanks to one of the female staff member!

Robert Mastropietro

Annual pass holder here. My son and I love our little zoo. It's not San Diego or Philadelphia so if you are looking for huge animals like elephants and enjoy walking miles looking at animals this is not the place for you. We like the intimate setting and being able to get up close and personal with the animals.

Tiffany Castrogiovanni

Ehhh...okay exhibits..but rude employees! There was a lady working in the front, was rude about bringing in a thermal water bottle...that was empty!!! Then upon leaving a branch fell out of a palm tree, when we told her about it, she could care less! Animals are cute, but beware of the rude lady that works up front!

Tammy Woods

Was fun! Just be cautious of the birds that like shiny things...lol I had hair barrettes in my hair when I went and left with only one..

Ever Grace

We loved this zoo. It doesn't look very big from the outside, but there were a surprising number of exhibits in it, and they were having more added. There are some more common animals like Guinea pigs and rabbits, and some less common ones lile sloths, Rhea, capybara, and a Bengal tiger. The gift shop has lots of cute toys, clothes and other items. And there is also a gemstone sluice where I got quite a few crystals, rocks, fossils, and arrowheads that were easily worth more than we paid for the bag of dirt. There's also a snack shack at the zoo, and several animals you can feed including alligators, giraffes, and birds.

Anna Doyle

If you go there are so many fun and beautiful animals to see! They also have many animal encounters (eg I was able to hand feed Lemurs and Giraffes!!)

Jennifer Richter

Great little zoo. Prices could be a little cheaper for such a small zoo but still a great time.

Chris Poole

Fantastic visit! Worth every penny! Would definitely go again!

rory blondin

Awesome place. Great animals! A chance to see animals you normally would not be able to see! And feeding the alligators is epic!

Sara Wilkinson

We loved Zoo World! Highly recommend the Sloth Experience and the mining fun. The kids had a blast digging for cool rocks and gems, and so did Dad! Mom (me) and Aunty loved Slow, Mo, and Chica the sweet sloths!

Rupali Shinde

Good places to visit with kids..we can carry our food. Approximate it takes 2hr yo complete visit. They have giraffe and kids enjoyed feeding them

BTs Place

You get close to the animals and it is a pleasant walk thru the zoo.

Joe Oechsner

Love that my son had a blast better than most big zoos

Deborah Holliday

Loved it the girraffe my favorite great gift shop

John Andrews

decent selection of animals, but they charge full size zoo prices and they have no rhinos, lions, elephants, etc. The 'encounter' (feed 2 lettuce leaves to a giraffe) was $30 extra, and a tiny bucket of gator food was $10. Wayyy too expensive for the size.

Helen Walker

Small zoo with only a few exotics, but well kept. Animals looked very healthy.

Burger Miester

Your enclosures are too small. Maybe, it would be best to see if another zoo, a much larger zoo, can take them. A couple lions have already died, probably from the horrible cages you call enclosures. There is NOT enough grounds to create what the tigers and lions really need. It's time to reevaluate what the tigers and lions really need for their sake and not for the sake of wanting to make money.

Frances Lewis

Nice place wide selection of animals. They have creature experience where you can pet a sloth, lemur and Gator and I think there is one more. Storm damage to some of the animal enclosure but the staff was working to repair. Staff was friendly and very informative.

isaias coronado

It was absolutely fantastic, I got to do the lemur experience and it was great I even had one climb up on my shoulder, they are the softest animals ever. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable especially Zayla who did the animal experience, she was one of the best parts of the experience, very nice and informative, along with the girl at the store I didn't catch her name though, but she was also very friendly and helpful. All the exhibits were fairly up close. The zoo itself isn't the biggest but its packed full of stuff to see.

Jerm Gibson

Fantastic we had such a good time! Everyone in our group really enjoyed them self's alot of hands on things to do

james farr

This Zoo is Awesome. The staff was very nice. You can tell the Animals are treated very good and seem excited about seeing visitors. The lady in the petting zoo area was very knowledgeable about the Animals. Especially the Giraffe. Antonio the Giraffe is was very friendly. Worth the money for sure.

Tonya Gann

This is not a very big zoo at all. There are no elephants, lions, tigers or rhinos. It's kinda sad because some of the animals didn't have any ID tags saying what they are but they do have experiences with sloths, a small gator and lemurs at reasonable prices. Just don't get upset because you expect more than what you get. Just love animals and enjoy them.

Dorothy Sims

Cute local zoo at reasonable prices and a 20% discount for locals. Only took my family a hour to walk through and feed animals though.

Karl Newell

Great zoo. Fun and professional staff. Lots of awesome animal encounters. Great place for kids.

Kasey Gathercole

Zooworld is worth every penny. While there are a lot of things that cost extra outside of the general admission, I would highly recommend getting the bag of paydirt and the combo deal for animal feeding. The dirt provided a solid 30 minutes of entertainment, and had a massive amount of rocks and gems in it. The combo feeding thing for the animals was well worth it. It gave you a chance to feed several different animals, without overbuying or constantly having to use the quarter machine in the petting zoo.

Amanda Wedge

We were very pleasantly surprised by our visit to ZooWorld. There was a lot more to see than what we originally thought! Lots of great interaction with the animals and my family loved it. We have 2 kids, ages 3 and 8, and they had so much fun feeding and petting the animals. I highly recommend visiting ZooWorld while you are in Panama City- we will definitely be back to visit again!

Tiffany Branson

We took our girls here and we all loved it. They got to feed the birds and absolutely loved that part. They will land right on you.

sobreviviendo con humor la vidalo no es ficcion

Less than 100 animals and very small place. This is a very small zoo almost 20 animals around. Don't go, it is 23 dollars just by nothing

Tami Feild

Small Zoo, with lots of shade to sit and enjoy the animals. The kids can feed the animals and pet some of them too.

Brittney Montez

This zoo will always hold a special place in my heart. Every year they come up with something new and fun. The bird exhibit where you can feed the parakeets is awesome. You can also feed the giraffes and other animals even alligators! Small zoo, great for the family.

Thomas Courage

It's a bit expensive, but they have some cool animals. You can feed birds and even pet a sloth.

Chris Tina

We had a great experience here. Honestly I didn't expect too much because it's just in the middle of town and from the outside it doesn't look like much. BUt once you get inside it's like a whole other little world. We paid for the alligator food and fed them from the bridge which was pretty amazing. We purchased the food for the giraffe and fed them as well and got to touch and pet their heads. The most amazing part was the bird Aviary. We had a blast in there playing with and feeding all of the birds. They will all sit on your head and shoulders and just hang out. My kids (10 and 13) LOVED it so much that we went back in there at least three times before we left. We fed the goats and llamas and hung out with flamingos. Initially I thought the pricing was really high, but after we had our adventure I can say it was worth the experience. It was INCREDIBLY hot that day and even though we felt like we were melting, we wound up staying in there for several hours. It wasn't too crowded. Everyone we saw had smiles on their faces and were having a great time. There were a few birthday parties being held there as well and it looked pretty cool. The animals appeared to be very well taken care of and in good health. The staff was very friendly. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back.

Tim Greene

Wow, what a fun experience. We stopped here on an unexpected rain delay and will come back every year. Kathy @ the sloth and lemur experience was very knowledgable, and made us feel comfortable with the animals. Well maintained zoo.

Sarah Rouse

The animals do not have a lot of space and are instead crammed in small cages with concrete floors. The two large bears were in a space that cannot be comfortable for even one bear. The monkeys were trying to escape. The alligators while they advertised inside that they had ‘ more than 50 alligators’ it was not an adequate size and the alligators were fighting most likely because they had no territorial space of their own. The giraffes had little space and were kept in a petting zoo area. Not to mention Panama City gets very hot in the summer and some of the animals are not suited for the heat and humidity of the area or the concrete most of the animals are on. The park was under reconstruction in some areas and I hope that they are giving more room to the many animals they already have instead of getting more animals that are going to be stuck in hot cages. There was two small rooms with cement floors one room held multiple sloths, an armadillo, and a large bird, and the other held howler monkeys. You were able to visit one of the rooms if you paid thirty dollars. Ultimately the safety and well being of the animals should be priority. The intention of the zoo might be good, however in some ways it may be hurting more than helping. The workers however were very kind and friendly.

Kayla Buchanan

very friendly staff. Animals are very interactive and so much fun. The $10 feed combo is great because you get to interact with so many different animals.

It's Wolfgang

The Place was great. It Was fun. I got to feed birds from a stick. It was a great time.

Michelle Marit

Animals seem very unhappy! Under construction. Didnt know that until we were already in and paid! 4 of us costs $150 took an hour at most to finish whole zoo! Paid extra $10 to feed alligators, but there was food for 25 cents by the gators! Waste of $$ and time!

kristen sysan

Great family place with loads of education! Love the the new flamingo area! We loved Dagwood the peacock!

Connie Poppy

Great family adventure. Very reasonable for quality fun.

justin seeloff

Tiny bit very nice little zoo to bring the family too

Google User

This place is underrated. I've been here twice, but I want to come here every time I visit Florida! It is very hands-on, which is always a plus. I suggest buying at least one of the "experiences" they offer: giraffes, lemurs, sloths, or gators.

Racheal Floyd

Absolutely memorable experiences! The encounters are only $35 a piece and they offer various packages as well.

Steve Casagrand

This place was awsome! A diamond in the rough. Small zoo with ALOT to see. Good value for half a day out.

Andie Morgan

We are locals and just love this little Zoo. They are constantly improving, the staff is happy, the animals look great and well cared for. Definitely worth a visit.

Jair Latorre

The animals are beatiful. The service is excelent. The location is nice.

John Ferrick

This place was fantastic! We are from St Louis and while the St Louis zoo may be much larger and free, the exhibits here were way better! Very impressed by the animals, the exhibits, and how close to everything you get. I don’t get to feed giraffes in St. Louis but I did here, and they come close enough to pet as well. 10/10

Brandon McNeal

This is a great little place to visit if you are in PCB. We did the sloth encounter activity where you get to pet and feed a few sloths for about 15 minutes and enjoyed it.

Adam Cobb

Great Zoo, but some animals are in TINY enclosures and look/act unhappy. The animal "experiences" (lemur and sloth) are advertised in such a way as to think you get to hold them, but you will not...this part was a complete waste of money. Just buy the feeding cups for the petting zoo and alligators.

Rikki Gregory

The only saving grace for this was Ashley . the young woman who was at the giraffe / petting zoo . she saved the day with her bright spirit helpful disposition and over all friendliness!!

Becky Scharff

Took my 2 young grandkids. Perfect day. Great fun. Not too big of a place to walk little ones around. They enjoyed the bird aviary and feeding the animals. Clean. Nice staff. U can tell they are still working on hurricane damage but still a fun time!

tim totten

Lots of interesting animals. You can get within about 4 or 5 feet of lions and black bears here. Pretty awesome!

Amber Klingler

Animals are in great shape. Misting fans throughout to keep you cooled down. All keepers are excellent.

Perry Dulanry

Wife and i took great grandson and he had a time feeding goats deer giraffes birds

Chelsey Tullis

We went today and spent a huge chu k of money for our family. We paid for the lemur experience for my daughter whose in a wheelchair and we were very disappointed with the little interaction. There was feces all over the encounter enclosure and the lemurs were covered in dried poop. My daughter and mom just sat in the enclosure with the trainer while the lemurs played with my daughters wheelchair for about 10 minutes. It didn’t seem worth the $35 per person fee. We enjoyed the rest of the zoo but felt the encounters were way overpriced for the condition and what was included.

Jennifer Rojas

Cute little zoo to visit. Is a bit pricey it cost me 85$ for my 3 kids and I to get in and for 1 small cup of feed. We loved the giraffe! So cute

William Poth

Felt like I was in some rich guys back yard who had enough money to buy the animals but overcharges for everything else to maintain their habitat. Only a handful of animals .Makes me appreciate the nashville zoo. Waste of $100

Noelle Stevens

Last visit as a lifelong resident of bay county and annual passholder. Because of a poorly implemented rule about what my kids can and cannot drink in the park, my family was harassed by staff today. They presume that we bring in flavored water (or juice for my 7 month old) that we will feed vodka to the animals. Yet...Zoo World sells ALCOHOL. Whoever the manager is needs to get a grip when she talks to people, especially in front of their kids. I feel sorry for the poor treatment of the animals and hope they employ less hateful staff.

Brent Schraer

Highly recommend if you have kids. The petting zoo was great the giraffes are super cute. Definitely worth it to get the combo feeding buckets. Also check out the gemstone prospecting. My nephews loved panning for gems.

K Fernandez

A wonderful place to spend a couple of hours enjoying wildlife. It is not a big city zoo, but has an intimate feel and is making a great comeback after hurricane Michael! Wonderful for kids of all ages!

Robert Adams

Nice park - reasonable exhibits. Kind of pricey for what it is, but not outrageous for Panama City Beach. The "encounters" (an additional charge) are pretty cool. My daughter did the sloth one, and it is a small group of 3 or 4 people - the technician was super nice and informative. Not much in terms of snack bar. Plenty of shade. They have a MOLD-A-MATIC in the gift shop (which is pretty unique - not many left around these days).

Shalisha West

This place was really nice. Not as hot as some I've been to because it's well shaded. It's not a Huge zoo but does have many animals to see and animals to feed with the kiddos. I recommend visiting here. Just fyi there is some construction areas but no actual work being done while ppl are around.

Alison Morehouse

Small place but very good animal encounters. Would definately go back again.

Matthew Johnson

A great experience, with many different animals to see!

Teri Hanson

It is a compact Zoo with some exotic but mostly familiar animals in an almost barnyard like environment. If you or your children want to get up close and personal with Giraffes, Ostriches, and Galapagos Tortoises, it was GREAT feeding them.

Terry Green

We were pleasantly surprised about this place. It's much bigger than it looks on the outside. It was a perfect family outing. Will be going back!

Tasha Goddard

Our whole family went and it was a nice experience the zoo is kind of small but it was fun. Dont spend the 35 for the sloth experience though. My son did it and it stayed balled up in the corner you couldnt even see what it looked like it just looked like a curled up cat. He touched it a couple times and that was it.

James Sports

This place was amazing! Feeding gators, a giraffe that I got to pet, a tiger, and parakeets that landed on my finger and shoulder!!! For any animal lover, this place is a must.

We had a great time! There was more to do than we thought and it was a great experience! Our 3 year old had a blast! I would definitely recommend! Don't forget to check out the birds, I think they were our favorite!

Animals' (especially girraffes, tigers , and bears) enclosures are so very small - it is animal cruelty to me. There was construction happening hopefully to give them more space not bring in more animals. If they are releasing them back into wild that is great! The otter was trying to get out - please set him free. The lady's in store were awesome !

Brianna Jones

Always so beautiful, excited to see the new habits they put in!

Kaylee Goforth

The bird enclosure and the alligators were the best part in our opinion.

Kang Castronova

Awesome place with many different animals. I did notice a few animals the alligators specifically were hurt or looked sick. One alligators tail was almost cut off most likely from another gator.

Barbara Woodward

We had the best time at Zoo World. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the animal encounters. And there are baby bunnies! Great time!

Shawn Bean

A very fun place that is reasonably priced. They also offer opportunities to feed some of the animals with different packages available. The staff is friendly as well. The gift shop has a wide variety of merchandise to choose from if you're interested in that.

We were pleasantly surprised at how expansive it was on the inside! Because of where it's located we were expecting more of a small petting zoo style zoo. There is a petting zoo inside, but there were plenty to see and do! We spent out 3 hours and had a blast. We took a little break at the concessions stand and had chicken and waffles. The icee machine was broken while we were there, but we are hopeful for our next visit. It was a great layout and the monkeys and goats were our favorites to see. We will definitely be back! Also, all active duty military get 20% off which is a great credit to those who serve!

I had a great day at the zoo..Beautiful place, lots of chances to get up close and learn about the animals. Some new things for the kids to do...it was and all around good time

Animals were not in great shape. Paid for the sloth and lemur experience and didn’t even get the whole time we were supposed to. Lemurs wouldn’t even interact with ya and the handlers did nothing to try to even let us stand up to see them. Go to emerald coast zoo instead. Experience wasn’t even comparable and also was cheaper!!

Nikole Gaertner

Our family absolutely loved the zoo!! We became season pass holders. This zoo is so interactive! You can feed and touch so many animals! Feeding the giraffes is awesome! It was a bit chilly today, but most of the animals were still out

Natalie Graves

Too cute and worth the money. Not too expensive. The bird part was my favorite. And the animal encounters ?

Cliff Nichols

The Zoo was great. It is a smaller zoo and it does not take you long to go thru it but they have some really amazing animals there. We fed the giraffes and seen the most beautiful White Peacock. Just an overall amazing time.

Jessica Dale

Did the sloth encounter. Such an amazing experience. Also did the deal where you get feed for the petting area and the birds and for the giraffes. Loved it. Wished Id done it sooner

Lacey Buchanan

Had a great experience. Very shaded. Exhibits all close together so you dont have to walk forever. We did the sloth experience and it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. We got up close to many animals and got to pet and/or feed a ton of them too. It's not the biggest zoo ever but the price is fair for what you get to see and there is plenty to spend several hours there!

Coty Anderson

The zoo was a great experience for the family especially getting to feed the little birds, and seeing all the monkeys even though the lion and tiger exhibits were closed for repairs due to the hurricane we still enjoyed every minute of it

Missy Cunningham

I love animals, love seeing the animals in larger zoos. Your intentions are good, but your animals do NOT have the space they need. Your larger animals, the ones you still have, look depressed and sad, there is no quality of life. Your efforts and money would be better spent funding actual preservation efforts.

Misty Baxter

It was lots of fun and affordable plus keep your receipt and you can come back all day until closing!! Very informative and friendly staff!! Best part I let both Giraffes take the lettuce from my mouth, so fun and sweet!!

Brandie Blake

Wonderful amazing zoo. Hands-on encounter with lemurs & sloths for only 35.00 per person. It's the BEST encounter ever. Lemurs climbed all over us.

Jonathan Jones

I know, you didnt come to the beach to come to the zoo but you REALLY should stop in here! We had a blast!!

Zachary Boster

The encounters are done so well with passionate and dedicated volunteers, I would have paid thrice the price. I'll never forget my afternoon with lemurs!

JR Williams

I will no longer be a season pass holder as a result of the experience today. We were harrassed by the staff and escorted outside as a result of their beverage policy. Be sure to read the posted sign to avoid this if you plan to take your children

Charlene Allfrey

Love the up close personal touch they have with the animals. We will definitely be back
