We like that Naples zoo does the 1st of the month for Collier residents as free entry! So nice to be appreciated as a collier resident. Love the new baby lions! Thank you for the wonderful work that you all do at the zoo!

Drew Badger

I'll take the advice if a fellow reviewer and try Tampa's zoo next time. Not the best, especially for the price for two adults and two kids..considering we were walking slow and we're done in an hour and a half. The giraffe exhibit was the best part of the zoo. Definitely need more cooling mist fans around the areas between the exhibits.

Sandy Haase

This place is fantastic! Has great walking paths and was wonderful that many of the animals were easily seen. My granddaughter loved it! We fed the giraffes and had some cute pics too. I would highly recommend going early early as the heat drives the animals deeper into their habitats and can drive us to look for cooler temperatures too lol!

Richard Freedman

Not your average zoo! Way beyond that! Great for all ages.

Joseph Paradis

This was a Wonderful Zoo! The Staff Care, The Park is Pristine, and the Animals Fascinating! Plenty of seats and Shade as you walk through Beautiful Tropical Gardens! This is a Hidden Gem in South Florida!

Andrew C

Came here when I was a kid and just brought my son. Had a wonderful time with the boat tour of the monkey/lemur islands. Fed the giraffes and watched the safari show. Everything was as it was when I was a kid, clean and easy to walk. Everything seemed reasonably priced as well. The wagon rental for kiddos is inexpensive $18 but $10 is returned when you return the key.

Pete

Excellent smaller zoo. The giraffe feeding station was up close and personal. All around great experience.

Trudy Shremshock

Very fun. Cool animals! Awesome knowledgable helpful staff.

virginia morris

Had a great time with my friends at the zoo . just small n big enough

Ren

Was very fun! Got the whole zoo done in about 3 hours. Loved it!

kmcanim122

I didn't hate this place but It was very sad to see animals in very small and dirty enclosures with very little stimulus to keep them active and happy.

John Fought

Wonderful day with family spot. Good parking. Mall across street.

Diane Jensen

Too hot for even the animals to come out. Good for them! A very special zoo. Glad there were shelters for our furry friends.

Angela Lee

Very beautiful. The enclosures and animals well taken care of. The gardens are nice. A boat ride too.

JT Ke3bz

An all around great experience. We were able to use our existing membership at a different zoo for a little discount. There were some long parts of the walking path with nothing to see and a few exhibits were empty for renovations or removed. Snacks weren't terribly overpriced and the exhibits that were up and running were great and well kept. If you follow the schedule of events, there's plenty to do

Jackalyn Easley

I have been going to this zoo since I was a kid. I love going here and whenever my family comes into town we go there. My boyfriend and I love to go on Saturday when Collier County residents can go for free. The only problem I had was with my service dog. I was not allowed to do certain things or go in certain areas because I had him with me. I respect their policies but I have been to other zoos where that wasn't the case so it did disappoint me a little, but I'm sure the zoo is just being cautious. I love this zoo and would always recommend it!

Peter McCluskey

A good but small zoo. Shame about the cafe! Bring your own food but the animals are great.

Lori Lutsch

Love learning about the animals and most of them were out and in view. Plus the boat captain was very nice and knew interesting stuff regarding the animals on the islands.

Harelis Santis

We had so much fun at this zoo! Our sons hadn't been at the zoo in a long time and this place had a variety of animals. The shaded paths made it cool for us to walk around and see the place. The giraffe feeding time was awesome! You can even take a boat tour around the monkeys area.

David Jackson

The Naples Zoo is a great place to go any day of the week. It is well laid out with plenty to do and see. They are fully invested in conservation efforts and care for their animals and their guests very well.

Dawn Dowd

We've been going to the Naples Zoo for many, many years and have watched the changes and growth with delight. The zoo is clean, well staffed and a wonderful place to wander at leisure with my camera. Plenty of benches are scattered along the paths so people watching can be almost as entertaining as viewing the animals. Great place for kids.

Angela Jackson

Love this little zoo! Make sure you ride the monkey boats!

SmoothAzzSlicka Sas

It was my first time ever going I had a blast seeing the different animals

Robert Reilly

There is no A/C. But it is a very beautiful and well maintained zoo. Small enough to get through in 2 hours and enough to see to spend the entire day ad well.

Angel Lopez

I really enjoyed the walk and the awesome staff who walked around checking on overall welfare of animals and visitors. Very knowledgeable too.

nsbandc

Great place! Smaller zoo but very educational!

Pamela Weinkauf

As visitors from Indiana, very much enjoyed being able to bring our little grandson to this zoo!

Toni L C

Fairly expensive but membership is great value if you're local. Snack type foods available but very expensive. Most of the animals were asleep so best time would be in the morning and catch all the feedings to see them awake. Giraffe feeding was awesome!! Fantastic sculptures made from recycled junk that washed ashore!

hope sahr

My sister my son and I, had an awesome time :-) we had fun feeding the giraffes. Bummer we didn't get to see the Bears. But there's always next time we go:-)

Carol Ruszin

The Gardens were beautiful. Animals mostly under brushes or trees due to heat. Hot Hot Hot..

Taylor Eaton

Average zoo, nothing special. A lot of animals to see, but could walk this place in less than an hour. If you want to go somewhere more fun for a cheaper price and that’s more interactive just go to the Everglades Wonder Garden.

paul lagergren jr.

Outrageously overpriced and small. Very little to do. Bathrooms were dirty. Beverages on a hot day were $38. The animals were reclusive due to the heat and barely visibile. Did the whole place minus the boat ride in about an hour. Not worth it. Go to the Shell Factory or the Everglade Wondergardens. They are way more engaging.

Robert Kray

Great zoo. Fun Boston ride

William Mahan

Very interesting. You will love it. Clean, and staffed by courteous, and knowledgeable zoo keepers.

Eric O'Sullivan

Cute zoo, perfect for kids. Everyone working was perfectly lovely, feeding giraffes and the boat ride were awesome, and we got to see 10-week old clouded snow leopards! Great way to spend half a day.

Rox Lauren

WOW! Such an amazingly beautiful place. You can tell right away that everyone here just loves being surrounded by plants and animals. The vegetation is so LUSH i was breathless at the beauty. Beautiful, peaceful animals surrounded by such a gorgeous environment. We came when the clouded leopards were just babies and was it such a sight to see! Absolutely loved this zoo and can't wait to go back!

Erwin Gumapac

This is a wonderful place to visit if you’re visiting the area. Even for locals, it’s nice to just hang out and enjoy nature. Check out the giant python that will give you nightmares.

Tracey Tarquinio

Clean Zoo n friendly staff. Nice experience with plenty to see n do. The boat ride is cute to see the apes n monkeys. A nice view of all the animals who appear to be very content n well taken care of. Plenty to see n lots from right here in Florida. A great way to

Sylvia Moss

I've been loving this zoo for 45+ years. It's clean with friendly, knowledgeable staff. The animals look healthy and happy. Fun shows. Lovely relaxing places to sit and enjoy the lake/pond, birds, fish and turtles. A quarter gets you a handful of food out of the machine for the lake and pond creatures. Two playgrounds for the little kids run off their extra energy while Mom and Dad relax in the shade. Wynn's market supplies the snack bar. Nice gift shop.

judy sun

This is an exelent place for the family. Between the attractions there are beautiful arranged plants. This zoo is a real joy to walk through. Some of this plants and flowers smell so good. It's a small zoo. They have some shows, worth attending. The alligator feeding is great show. I think it happens at3. The ferry ride is nice too.

JerryLiz Joslyn

Informative staff good prices. Likes the meet the keeprers to.learn ablut particular animals. Will go back

Ryan Shary

Really nice little zoo. We had an excellent time walking the grounds and seeing the animals even though it was like 100 degrees... Some of the unique points of interest at the zoo are the Ibis that are walking around pretty much everywhere, the monkey island boat ride, and the giraffe feeding. The kids loved the opportunity to more directly interact with the animals.

Rebecca Heureux

Took my 4 year old, a dream came true for him and he got to feed a giraffe! Wonderful zoo. Such a wonderful experience!

Joseph Elliot

Everything in this zoo is fenced in. Unlike modern zoos that have the giant moats keeping the animals from escaping, this zoo has thick black wire fences. It makes most of the photos of the animals either bad or worthless. The zoo could also use more shady trees in general. Walking from one fenced in area to another in the sweltering heat was not a lot of fun. This zoo could be a lot better, but it may not have the funds to upgrade it to the modern age of zoos that have existed for the past 40+ years.

Cathleen Hershberger

Great zoo! Be sure to take the free boat ride! The guide points out all of the animals on the islands that you pass! The zoo is clean, the animals are healthy and well cared for, and the staff are very friendly. We watched the lion being fed, the alligators being trained and we loved seeing the honey badgers, too! Well worth the admission cost!

James Dolan

Our family has been going to the Naples zoo for more than 10 years and we will keep coming back. Great exhibits. We love the monkey island tour and feed the giraffes.

Nisha Sanjurjo

Small zoo, great for kids with shorter flat walking trails and lots of stops along the way.

Brenda Mejia

Spent the morning there for my bday. It was nice overall but the cafe snacks are very pricey we got two small bags of chips and one drink for a total of $10. Not sure if it was because it was a Sunday but we didn’t get to see too much action I guess the animals really decided to make it a lazy Sunday lol

Sara Hewes

Beautiful, loved seeing the animals. ProTip, visit when it is cooler out. The animals like to rest in the heat of the day.

Debi Estabrook

Great zoo. We bought the grandparent's family tickets. We have been 3 or 4 times. Beautifully kept Zoo with lots of animals. The zookeeper are knowledgeable and friendly. They are also so good and patient with the animals. We got to see the baby Clouded Leopards which were born February 22, 2019.

Ken Lane

We always enjoy our time at the Zoo. The family membership is a great deal if you plan on going again. Sometimes it's nice to just pop in for a quick visit since you never know which animals will be out and about. The staff is knowledgeable and we learn something new every trip.

Nora Cortes

Flora and fauna are beautiful the trip to see the monkeys is so cool

Joel Summer

A great offering in a prime spot! It did feel a little too small for the critters there, but for people it's a great 3-4 hour stop!

Karen Agulian

A small zoo, there are not many promised animals. If there is absolutely nothing to do - once in a lifetime you can go and forget

blk heart

It is not worth the money to get in. All the animals hidding. Very small zoo. Nice plants though.

Richard Gizzi

Pricey, but very nice zoo. Lovely gardens. It was afternoon and hot. Most "critters" were sleeping, but; that was half the fun trying to find them. Make sure you read the signs. They are full of facts. The story of the tortoise was amazing. Nice souvenir store.

Jim Losi

Very open with larger exhibits for the animals. Mostly warmer weather animals since the Florida climate will only allow for such species. The best attraction was the monkey island area where you are taken onto a pontoon boat and driven around a small lake to look at monkeys on their own islands.

Patricia Yeary

we visited while on vacation with my daughter, son in law and grandbabies. it was very nice. we even fed the giraffe.

douglas miller

My family had a lot of fun here today! There is so much to do and see. You want to make sure you get here early or else there won't be any parking and also it won't be as hot. This was our first time here and it is free Saturday so I'm not entirely sure what normal admission is but that's all on the website.

Carol Pryor

Very friendly staff. Nice place

Marc Ferrazzano

From the original botanical garden to the new ever expanding zoo, the place is amazing to visit. We'll organized, educational and fantastic. Very enjoyable experience. Will go again when I am in the area.

Rem Godfrey

Great place, great zoo. Very friendly staff, well kept and clean. Nice variety of animals.

Tamer Baker

Great little zoo! Small enough to see everything you want without spending far more time in the heat than you desire. Animals are close versus far off. The leopard cubs were super adorable to watch as they were learning to climb trees!

Timothy Jones

Great time with the family even has designated areas for strollers for certain attractions as well as food and souvenirs(although kind of pricey) Definitely a fun time locally for kids.

Johnny Stompanato

Nice layout for a small zoo. Unfortunately, all the animals are fenced in, so it is hard to see them. Unlike modern zoos that give the animals a large un-fenced open space, this zoo has every animal in a tiny fenced in enclosure. The animals are usually hiding in their sleeping area, and about half of them are walking around and visible. It is a depressing zoo.

KELLI UNGS

fun to see and learn about snakes. just the right size paths easy to ealk places to sit. the boat ride around the primates was cool

Cristy Urbina

Very nice experience. Friendly staff

Laurie Hogan

I visited the zoo during its current " turning trash into art" exhibit which was fascinating but it is also sad to realize how much plastic is being collected in one small area of the ocean. The gardens are spectacular but there were very few animals to observe that day. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon in the beautiful surroundings.

Iurie Iasinschi

A must go place in Naples. You can take the boat for Madagascar fauna. All animals has different feeding time. Lions at 3.pm after alligators. Always a show.

Gary Sharp

It was an enjoyable day out with the family. The only issue I saw was pricing of food when compared to what you're getting. It really wasn't worth it. They also dont allow straws or lids due to ignorant customers which made spills a constant with their fountain drinks. Understandable but inconvenient. That reflects more on bad customers treating the place with no respect than the policies of the zoo though.

Jennie Jonasson

The Naples Zoo grounds are astonishingly beautiful! The knowledge, care and compassion shown by the keepers towards the animals is amazing! The boat rides that come with the entrance fee are incredible! I could go there again and again!

Meche Villegas

Beautiful place. Only disappointment was theres no camel's. Giraffes and monkeys were great

harryMTZ

Visited the zoo with much excitement after reading the posted reviews here. In my opinion it is a nice small zoo. Pretty well kept. We.were able to see the baby lions and apparently it was their first day out in public!

Jacqueline Delaney

Definitely wasn't what I expected it to be. We got there at 9am and the zookeepers were cleaning the animals exhibits so not a lot of animals were even out to see. I thought that should have been done before they opened? A lot of the exhibits looked sad and way overgrown. The giraffe area is very sad looking. You have to pay $5 for one peice of lettuce, it's just not practical. Admission is NOT worth $24!! The only thing we loved was the scenery. Unfortunately we won't be back nor recommend this zoo.

jonnie Robinson

Great Zoo!! Easy to see the animals. Fun day adventure!

Francisca Varela Torres

Lovely place with great history. Cuddos to Naples citizens to keep their zoo.

Jonathan Hawkins

It was alright. Nothing like the Zoo in Tampa or other big ones. They are working on some of the exhibits so it's hard to see some animals when they don't have them.

Aidan Paschall

If you are going to the zoo to see less than a handful of exotic animals this might be the place. If you want to go to an actual zoo that takes more than 20 minutes to walk around do yourself a favor and make the trip to the Tampa zoo. Friendly staff but honestly could have went to a petting zoo and had more of a variety of exotic animals.

Nathan Ruschman

Cool zoo and definitely worth visiting. Layout is kinda sporadic and hard to navigate but very pretty. Wish you could see the monkies better without having to do the boat. Anteater was awesome and their bear was sitting at a picnic table too!

Cori Goddard

Nice small zoo that you can go through in about 2 hours. The animals are usually up close for good viewing. If your a Collier county resident you can get in free at the 1st weekend of each month which is awesome, but make sure to get there early to beat the crowd. Great place to enjoy a morning/afternoon with family.

Judith Lopez

Good and bad. A very good stuff in the store. Good shade due to a lot of trees but no drinks on the Coke stations. In other hand, we enjoyed the safari show. The animals were hidden thru the park, we could only see a few. The giraffes didn't come to eat until my daughter whistle a little at them. When we saw the pictures on the computer, these were not well taken by the photographer. We traveled for more than one hour to visit the zoo and were not happy with the visit.

z volt

This is a zoo I recommend to go if you like supporting animals and they also focus on saving the animals for animal lovers I recommend this Zoo they way they teach you is amazing

Jeanne Prue

We had a nice breeze which made it comfortable to walk the paths. Pleasant staff including demonstrations. Nice choice of salads, sandwiches and drinks at restaurant. Loved seeing baby snow leapords and bongo. The plants are gorgeous throughout the zoo gardens. Thank you!

Eva Sheedy

This Zoo is amazing. I go here every year. The shows are amazing. You can feed giraffes. Take a camel ride. They have so many animals. A reasonable gift shop. But we all miss the man lion. He passed away a couple years ago. You could hear his roar from the other side of the park. We also miss the sloth. She also passed. Over all this is the best zoo I have ever been to.

Ilya Zholdakov

Great for kids, but also interesting for adults. Half a day is enough to see it all.

jeremy hawkins

They need some new animals and/or shows the place needs new life and some sort of attraction it's been the same for years now!

Andrea Rosa

Nice zoo. Good variety of animals. No tigers when we visited (8/19) but got to feed giraffes!

Alisa Platas

When I was a little girl we used to drive to the Naples Zoo.. Which back then was called Jungle Larry's... It's so awesome to share this with my daughter. She loves animals and gets so excited when she realizes where we are. Everyone is so nice and polite.. The animals are adorable.. The Primate boat ride is a nice break.. And my husband loves the education exhibits that they have. We are annual pass holders and go on average 3 times a week to see the animals and feed the fish and the beautiful giraffes. My daughter also loves the gift shop and pointing out all the animals she just saw. Even though it is a small zoo, I reccomend it to friends with children and family members alike.

Cinthia Golden

We had so much fun this week love this place of course will be back

Joseph Hernandez

Small zoo. Good place to spend a couple hours of your day.

Ian Mai

Several animals to see and food and drinks are worth the money. Enjoyable for kids. Shows are very educational!

jim avery

We loved this little zoo, monkey island was awesome but the best part was being able to feed the giraffes. The animals here are so close you get to see them very clearly. I would highly recommend this zoo if you're looking for something to do in Naples.

Sheri Anthony

People who work there are very informative definitely take the free cruise around monkey island.

Ashton T

We are members and love the zoo, however due to the ever changing and unpredictable weather here in swfl, the zoo closes a lot. No one answers the phone when you call. You have to leave a message and they MIGHT call you back... even when they do return your call, it may be hours later, so your day is already shot. We live about an hour away and this often causes us to not use our membership because we have no way of knowing If it will be open or not when we get there. Absolutely ridiculous when there are at least 4 people working the gift shop at any given moment to not have someone answering phone calls.

jim mcdonell

A nice, small zoo, very easy to navigate. Very crowded at the time we were there but still manageable. Animals were not very active during our visit. Saw a nice show, billed as a safari, that highlighted the animal's strength. A short boat ride takes you around several island habitats for various primates. Took advantage of the opportunity to feed the giraffes.

Pat Hansbury

We are not really zoo people but a local couple we met suggested we go here. What a great experience it was! A very well thought out and educational environment to learn and enjoy. Keep up the good work!

J Welle

When we got there most animals too hot so could not be seen.Tried to feed giraffes but they would not come over to get fed. Animal show was good. Interesting to see crocodile feeding. Saw a few monkeys on boat ride but some were too hot and would not come out. Otherwise it was a good small zoo.

Roger Thornton

Zoo is very old and small, but nice we spent about four hours. The monkey islands viewing by boat was fantastic. The bear enclosure was very nice. Most the other encounters were very small and cage style, with poor animal visibility . The variaty of plants and trees was impressive. The lack of labeling of this impressive selection of plants was disappointing. ..

Jonathan Roman

Nice for first Saturday of the Month being free. I liked the little boat ride and plants. Saw 2 coyotes and giraffes.

Neil Barrett

Awesome place! Get there early to hear the monkeys in full song!

Elizabeth Love Cornell

Small zoo. Good place for children. Nice environment.

Ralph Kennedy

Went to Naples Zoo today. Grounds are nice and parking is free. Food quality and price is about what you would expect. Not a lot of animals compared to most small zoos I have been to. Boat ride to view the primate islands was cool but was not handicapped accessible, as others have pointed out. Price is ridiculously high at $22.95 adult admission. Probably $15 would make more sense.

janos lazar

Nice, clean, quiet! It's a good place to spend a couple hours with your child. Really enjoyed it!

Melinda Roberts

They had a lot of animals/birds. Very clean park. Well mapped out. The boat ride was fun and informative. Loved the monkeys. Assistants all over the place to answer questions. And statues made out of debris from our waters. Awesome shows . The gift shop was way to small with very little memorabilia to choose from. Worth the $20.

violeta queipo

Very pretty and very well maintained.so sad couldn't see the lions Cubs or the Florida Panthers.

Jesus Ramon

Great local zoo. Great animals inhabiting the zoo. Only down fall is the lack of refreshness. In all honesty I think with the money from the locals and a major revamp the zoo can be the top zoo in the state. With state of the art views and habitats.

Vincent Cruz

My family and I had a very relaxing day here. It was not too crowded and for the most part all of the animals were visible. They have a nice play area for small kids that allows them to run and stretch. The staff members were attentive and polite. It only takes about two hours to walk through the whole place which was great. I would definitely recommend this zoo as a great place for the mid morning

Benjamin Houle

A bit overpriced for the size... Lots under construction felt it wasn't a good value for the cost

S F

The boat ride out to the monkeys was pretty cool

Carter Alan

Beautiful gardens and unique areas hosting animals in private island sanctuaries. Casual, relaxed pathways lead to fun areas to explore unique creatures. Not as big or exotic as some big cities but seriously great on the Naples scale. $24 day includes 30 min boat tour...feels like Disney haha

Sleepy Kyara

Small, quieter and relax place to have fun with kids

Robin W

Great alligator training show. Sized just right. Unique boat ride to view the monkeys.

Mehwish

very small but it's a cute place. The primate boat ride was our favorite part.

Darren Jauch

Great up close interaction w/ the animals and feeding the giraffes was our favorite

Amber Ragland

Enjoyed going here with my kids. Sadly alot of animals weren't out due too the hot hot weather but I still give it 5 stars.

Deborah Lupo

Love this zoo...very quiet with beautiful natural botanical trees & gardens. The animals we saw were amazing. I am very saddened by the environment they have the beautiful giraffes in. The habitat for them seemed very barren & not as natural as they would have in real life.

Chris Dietz

Not bad for a small town zoo, but limited stations for drinks or snacks, which on a hot Florida day are needed at a short walk es hen you wait in line per say to see monkey island. Great variety but no staff to talk about the animals you literally walk all through and see people only at monkeys and giraffe stops.

dinela jukic

Very nice place had lots to fo with kids loved their animal show.. my daughter loved it...

Casey Ellis

Nice zoo. Some fun animals. Disney World prices

Jeminy Caribeno

Great place to visit. Loved feeding the giraffes. You can also take a small boat tour, Could be a good place for a first date, enjoy time with family, or take photos

Matthew Schumm

It's a good zoo. A good foundation for the animals.

Ruben DeJesus

As with any zoo in Florida, go early. We went at 9am, right as they were opening. At this time, there was a nice breeze going and we were able to get to see a good amount of activity. Going much later would have resulted in disappointment.

CYNTHIA EDGINGTON

Today they had Thor and Spider-Man there which was perfect for my grandson

Kierstin D

This place was AMAZING. I brought my kids there over summer break. They had a great time. My daughters favorite was when she fed the giraffe. We had a great time.

Pastor Jeff Ungs

Perfect size zoo. Plenty to see. Loved the primate boat ride! Great shady rest areas and even a mist fan to keep everyone cool. All staff are really great and helpful.

Anna Burnham

We always love coming to this zoo when we are visiting Florida to see the different animals and hear updates on what this zoo is doing with their conservation programs and animals. The keeper talks are great to make it to, to learn more about the care and habits of a specific animal and to be able to ask questions. The shows in the Safari theater are fun as well, you get to see some animals and hear more about them. It's always a different theme. This isn't a big zoo, but they definitely have some great animals, a ton of exotic plants and trees that are all labeled, and fun experiences that I feel make it worth the visit. Everything is outdoor, so plan accordingly.

Neal Klein

The Naples Zoo isn't flashy, but it has a wonderful array of beautiful, well cared for animals. There are bears, lions, gibbons, monkeys, bongos, gazelles, giraffes, zebras and a lot of birds. It was fun to feed the giraffe, and take the boat ride around their Lake Victoria. What made this modest zoo stand out were the staff. Cheerful, warm and committed, they care about both the animal residents and the visitors. I just found that made the difference. Highly recommended.

Shelly Kievit

The staff do a great job with the maintenance and presentations! However, the Giraffe Enclosure is too small for 5 animals and should be extended to include natural vegetation and/or house fewer animals i.e., 3 total. I am surprised that with the wealth of this community, the exhibit is so minimal for these beautiful animals. Additional signage should be added throughout to direct visitors to specific attractions. I had several visitors asking me how to exit the grounds from the primate exhibit. Maps are nice, but not all folks are able to read them.

whitney wiedner

Well maintained, so clean. Can't wait for the return of the tigers. Beautiful with photo ops everywhere, couldn't believe I forgot my camera. Friendly/ informative staff.

Derek Weakley

Some of the enclosures are landscaped in such a way, that the animals can hide completely from view. Which is not the smartest design, when they are charging admission to see animals. That being said, it is worth seeing at least one time if you have never been.

BRENDAN M

Closes at 5pm. Entry closed at 4pm. Visiting from out of town and wanted a quick tour but was 10 min late. Staff was nice but did not let us in. It probably says something about the 4pm on the website, but wish we had known before hand. Would have been nice for our 2yr old to see the animals.

Susanne Obrien

It is a small family friendly Zoo with lovely foliage. Free to County residents on the first Saturday of each month.

Scott 2Hott

Very nice zoo. All of the animals are taken care of tremendously. Enclosures are maintained beautifully. Everyone on staff is friendly and helpful. Feed the giraffes for $5.00.

perrofrio

I used to love this zoo, but my last 2 visits there were very poor. The animal enclosures are poorly designed because the landscaping is set so the animals will be out of sight when they go for the shade during the hot part of the day. When I was at the meet the keepers presentation for the lions exhibit, the poor girl didn’t even have a microphone and it was impossible hearing her. One good thing I can say about the zoo is that they participate in many conservation programs. My last visit left me with no desire of coming back. The only memories I’ll have of this visit is walking around hot because I didn’t get to see many animals

Saad Wali Jaan

Nice and we'll maintained zoo with a variety of animals. I went in July so most of the animals were trying to rest in shade. I would suggest to visit in winter (if there is any in Florida). Sad to see that Tiger was not there. It's a nice place to visit with family. Specially young children's.

jonathon priebe

Smaller but great zoo. We visit every year when we see family in Fort Myers. The boat ride to see the primates is a highlight for the kids. The zoo keeper presentations are to notch and a unique feature to the zoo. Playgrounds for older and younger kids are great and well placed in the shade. The kids also enjoy feeding the giraffe, but missed the camel rides since they haven't been back after the hurricane.

Roxy S

This zoo needs to make the animal exhibits more friendly for the animals and should have more than 1 animal in an exhibit. Pack animals should have a pack. They should get involved in conservation as well. Follow the Bronx zoo or Zoo miami. They also need a lot more animals period . It's a nice sized zoo but empty and boring cages. Someone needs to do much more research.

Charles W Jansen II

Always a great visit to this wonderful zoo. Animals kept in humane conditions. Snack shop by Wynne's Family Markets offers great variety of delicioud eats. Great for photographing the wildlife.

Neil Stanton

Love it, it gets better every year, we have a annual pass, the zoo does a great job in education and conservation. Go and visit them you will enjoy the day and support a great cause

Keith Carlson

Feeding the giraffe is fun; it's five dollars but worth it if your child wants to really do it. I also recommend going on the free pontoon boat ride in the pond. If your going to go more than a couple times a year then consider getting a membership. The size and variety of animals was just enough. Right about when we reached the end we thought that's enough zoo time; very happy it didn't go on and on.

Ann Marie Meyes

The animals were great! The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The new leopard cubs are super cute!

Brenda Rodriguez

Hot day and all the water out of the vending machines was empty all over the park. We had to wait until we left near the entrance finally water to drink! Need more animals and events.

It's a nice zoo. Not half as big as any other zoo but it does have a large number of animals. There's nice sculpters through out the trail and interesting facts about the zoo and the animals. In my opinion going there after 2 or 3 pm is better because that's when the animals started to wake up and walking around so you'll enjoy them more.

We really enjoyed it. It's very different from traditional zoos and the grounds and artwork are beautiful. And no nasty smells

Had so much fun on free zoo day st Saturday of each month, collier residents get in for free.

Great zoo and I have been to lots of zoos.....

Nancy Holmstrand

Was very hot and most animals were hiding finding some shade. Couldn't blame them.

We bring the nephews and nieces every year we come down. They always enjoy it, as well as my wife and myself. They have a pretty decent souvenir shop on the way out as well. It’s definately worth the visit!

Too expensive for what they offer. Staff seems miserable, we only saw a handful of animals. The walkways have more trees and plants than anything. If I would’ve knew that I would be mostly looking at plants, I wouldn’t have gone. Most of the place looks to be under construction, or something. I feel like a lot is missing. The giraffes were pretty cool, and the island for the monkeys.

Took the family to the Naples Zoo for the first time a few weeks ago and immediately purchased the annual pass! Great exhibits with both exotic and local creatures, fun for kids and adults alike with a friendly, welcoming staff. Plenty of snack options all around the zoo and love the photo ops peppered around giving you the ability to take home some magic moments. Exhibits change throughout the years so I can't wait to see what we're in store for on our next visit. I would highly recommend this zoo to anyone visiting Naples.

Been going here since I was a kid, always love it.there were statues from plastics found in the ocean during our visit. It was really cool

David Goldstein

Small zoo with not quite the variety of animals that larger zoos have on exhibit. A few shows for the kids. Wanted to take the boat ride to see the primate island but too crowded to get on. We'll save it for another trip. The washed ashore plastic sculptures were impressive.

Wonderful Zoo. Very informative. You can tell the people that work there know and care for their creatures. It's a very chill and homey zoo. You get to meet animals up close! It's quite cool.

Great location, clean friendly, organized, first Saturday of the month free access to Collier county residents.

Craig Thompson

Really cool, but my wife really wanted to hold a sloth.

Good rates for the family and staff members were helpful. My son got to see lots of animals and had fun.
