REVIEWS OF Monkey Jungle IN Florida

Sonny

Excellent trip, well worth the drive!! 100% would do it again, but I would protect myself better with mosquito repellent. Only thing I would say I didnt like was feeling like my skin was on fire from the little ants (or whatever they were) biting me.

The Bacon Family

Everyone needs to go to Money Jungle at least once in their lifetime. Such a cool animal park. The smaller monkeys are free to roam while you walk through a human tunnel cage. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had such a great time here! Our favorite part was feeding the monkeys and watching them pull up their food bowls from the human enclosures!

Jenni Hossle

Very friendly staff and very interesting, educational shows. A little over priced for the attractions, but I am also used to midwest pricing. Definately glad we decided to include this on our trip. My daughter is still taking about King, and loves watching the videos we have of him on the other monkeys.

Mateo Rendon

Awesome experience feeding monkeys.

R Olson

Fun interactive experience with various kinds of monkeys. You can feed them food you buy at the gift shop or from dispensers along the way. There are 3 short educational shows; the pool, feeding, and gorilla. They have birds and other animals as well. There is a soda / water machine along the way. Only a few sitting places. They do have a wheelchair route, but be aware it is all mulch no paving. Amazing tall stand of bamboo. Fun! Great for kids.

Carley Noerr

What an absolutely incredible experience! I’m a native Floridian but somehow I only recently learned of this hidden gem. It’s an experience unlike any other. The guides were so kind and friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and the shows were entertaining and informative. I especially loved that they are conservation focused and not just gimmicky or touristy. I felt like we could truly experience the monkeys in THEIR element.

Ricardo Adrian

Decent little place for kids, it's not that big. I didn't do the monkey tour which I heard is the highlight where you go into the reserve and the get to play with the monkeys. So my review is based off of just walking around. My girlfriend said she preferred Parrot Jungle

Hilda Zamora

Excellent place to visit. One of Miami's interesting tourist attraction.

Mike Young

I did the adventure tour and it is totally worth the money! You get to experience the monkeys first hand as you feed them. I would recommend this to anyone who loves animals.

Nukeyshia Vega

Love it 10 years ago and still love it today

J.Rayne Photography

The monkeys that climb on you are covered in ants. The ants will cover you get inside your clothes and bite you all over. If you have a fear of rats DO NOT ENTER. There are 100s of rats coming for the dropped monkey food. Save your money.

Dillon Thompson

Awesome experience feeding the squirrel monkeys!

David Peters

Oh man! You have to go to this place! With or without kids it is a unique experience. To look in a monkey’s eyes and touch their fingers when you feed them raisins is something you just have to experience. No words express it.

Pamela Babcock

that was so great we had monkeys running all over us

Neel Madhvani

Great place to kill a couple hours on a weekend.

Inesa F.

What a fun experience for kids. Worth it if u get the package with monkey interaction.

Ryan Loparo

Very cool place. The monkeys are everywhere there no other place like this

Jorge Benito

So much fun for the whole family!

Oniell Castro

The calm and beautiful

Laura Sutton

Super fun place!

taraterm3

Nice place, pleasant enough but way over priced, and features the saddest gorilla I have ever seen. Boycott this place until that poor ape is transferred to a better happier environment. He has a permanent sore on his tummy from neurotic self picking....he appears sad and depressed.

Schelly Petumenos

Great place to have close encounters with darling primates, and feeding (raisins available for purchase) is encouraged! I recommend going bright and early when monkeys are hungriest...toward the end of the day they won't be as excited about your raisins. The park is also a bit pricey, so you don't want to arrive mid afternoon & find you only have an hour before they close. The presentations they have every 30 min in various locations around the park are entertaining and great for attention spans of all ages.

Di Rod

A nice place where to take your kids for a quick good time!

Melodie Peirsel

Great place to take friends and family! Learn about the primates, birds and reptiles, while wandering through the mesh pathways, while the monkeys roam free above you! Check the weather before you go, as you are completely subject to the elements.

richard reynolds

A lot of fun. Be careful because the monkeys can pee on you!

angiesjewelrybox

Waste of money and gas. Drove from Naples to Miami, didn’t see many monkeys.

Yvonne Sorondo

Not worth the money, lady in front was rude as hell. Super small place. I should of just went to the Zoo. Never again I will go to monkey jungle.

norland comesanas

I love this place. People can enjoy shows with the monkeys and feed them. The place is relaxing and the staff is pretty friendly.

samantha Hussein

Best experience ever! I highly suggest doing the tour to make it worth while

Victoria Pasquet

It was way too hot. Seeing the monkeys was pretty cool but if not, it's can be a bit boring and definitely way overpriced.

Ray Acosta

3 starts because I didn't hate it. BUT this place is either dead of about too die. Or is just maybe during the weekend. Way too expensive for what you can actually do or see. Yes is clean and organized and well maintenance too. People are nice too. Not that many species of monkeys to see. My kid did like it. Overall you come here thinking that you are going to see a lot but is not like that. if you have a kid come here one time and that's it. BTW the gorilla is 49 years old, I'll let that sink for a minute.

Deb Zano

The best adventure you can have in Miami if you love monkeys. I love them.

Steven Doucette

Went there with my service dog and management approached me prior to entrance and were very helpful. They explained that yes I was allowed to enter but that the monkeys would probably be very territorial and my experience may not be fun, they allowed us a test run and sure enough it only took a minute for them to get vocal! Made a personal decision not to continue but was extremely glad they gave me the option! Would recommend this but without a large breed dog!

lazaro celma

Fantastic place. Great entertainment. Kids of all ages will love this place

Buffy Grindrod

The most amazing experience of my life. Being able to walk through their amazon safari area with the squirrel monkeys was absolutely incredible. Holding and feeding the monkeys were amazing. I've never laughed and smiled so much! The fire ant bites were definitely worth the pain. Absolutely incredible day. (We were also only one of 8 people there the whole time we were there so felt like a private tour and visit- a Wednesday morning in October)

Conrad Timpf

A fun place to visit, everything great!! Great knowledgeable staff and the monkeys made the experience terrific. Just make sure you bring mosquito and spary yourself down before taking your jungle tour.

Natalia Olivera Silva

It’s a really nice place to spend an afternoon. The interaction with the monkeys is really nice and my son loved it. I do feel it’s a bit overpriced.

Hiram Tirado

From the comments on seeing, it would be best to go to Miami Zooo.

Connor Reed

Most excellent experience ever!!!

M Lopez

Unnecessarily over priced, most of the property lacks maintenance. One visit is more than enough in a lifetime.

Leonardo Abramovich

I want to say that everything is good. I think that it is a little overpriced. I visited all the zoos and attractions in Florida and I can compare prices. Also I want to say that I think that it need mote monkeys species. My kids not really enjoyed it. They have to either lower the prices or add more attractions, shows, monkey interactions and monkeys species. The staff is really good. The place very nice and clean.

Gil Giberga

Beautiful place and fun. Nice staff.

Jesse Juarez

Great little adventure off the club and beach scene in Florida. I only wish my daughters were with us to enjoy as well. Dress comfortably because with the rainforest atmosphere it gets pretty humid while in the park but it's extremely fun experience.

Roxanne Walker

Had a wonderful time. We took the tour and had monkeys all over us. The attendants are well educated in their field.

Patti Rubinstein

Such a fun place to visit. The kids were able to feed monkeys and learn about King the gorilla. Can't wait to go again.

Katy Key

Great place for a few monkeys. The rest of the animals are caged in a tiny boxes with no plants inside. It looks very cruel. If you guys have a moto ”where humans are cages and monkeys run wild” you probably should at least consider giving all of your monkeys a much more pleasant environment to live in.

Patricia Finale

Fun place to explore and learn! Definitely a place is recommend to take kids to.

Joe Joseph

First time here and I enjoyed it..oh and so did my children. The set up is awesome, we the visitors are in a cage not the animals. They have nice informative shows also

Leandrea Romero

5 stars all the way! What a great place!

Ashley Sacks

Must be honest - when reading the reviews, we were nervous about making the trip to South Miami to visit. But after visiting, we were beyond happy that we did. We went for Valentine's Day weekend and had the best, best, best time. If you really want to make it over the top, pay the extra to have the monkey excursion. It was FANTASTIC. You go in the back and get interactive with the monkeys. It was one of the most fun I've ever had in my life. The place as a whole is small, the shows are pretty decent, but it is really a unique place and we had a blast!

Jesus Rondon

I love this place! Here the have the animal free

Luis Tavarez

Great place for kids

JAYJ MOE

Nice place for seeing monkeys and birds.

Mark Alley

Little pricey don't think they have as many monkeys as they claim

Veronica Jacobs

Reminiscing memories from 40 years ago.. it has changed but still a nice stop for a family

Mindy Cassel

Love this place! I used to go as a child and recently went back because my other half has never been. It was just as I remembered it! The staff is always super friendly and the price is not bad at all. We had so much fun and enjoyed every minute of it. I would highly recommend to anyone it's great for someone by themself or a family outing. So please go you will love it

Yaakov Yosef Fill

The private tour is fun but $90 per person is a lot for a "private tour" with up to 15 people in it. I wouldn't go back again and I think that you can get better value for money with other activities. That said the monkeys do climb all over you on the private tour and that's pretty cool.

Maggie Lou

The monkey experience was cool and expensive we had the chance to feed the monkeys. However, it is small place where you look at the animals through cages or fences.

Ronald Thornhill

My wife and I enjoyed this place and watching the monkeys. The programs were educational and informative

Janine Nelson

The animals were amazing. Beautiful grounds.

Jon Davis

Some monkeys are great, but some are so spoiled they wont pull the basket up for food unless you give them enough. Also say "hi" to the turtles, theyre like dogs.

Maxim Razin

Well maintained specialized zoo. Not many species, but a lot of fun for kids

Liz Laatsch

Great place to visit, been wanted to visit for a long time!

Glen Cole

Never been to a place where majority of the animals are monkeys. Cute cool and mean & demanding not in a bad way but in a cool I know you have food for me and want you to put in the bowl kinda way. Monkeys from around the world even some that swim which is pretty cool but the whole monkeys fighting food not cool but they have a system just like people almost like a chain of command. But majority of the park is cool monkeys are extremely smart so pay attention to what's going on around you lol.

Sveta Krylova

I love the concept of this jungle how you are in the cage and monkeys are roaming freely! They are really cute and you can feed them.

Kevin

Admission with the upgrade for 45 minutes in the open area where monkeys can climb on you is $90 per person. It's a lot, but I think if you're going to visit, it's worth it. It makes the experience memorable and unique. Overall, we spent about three hours here. I got the sense that the people working here really care about their animals. The gorilla is a rescue from a circus and seems to be treated very well. The parrots they have are rescued former pets. It's good to see a small place like this that has the welfare of its animals in mind.

Bladimir Barrera

This was really fun. Loved feeding the monkeys. It's a bit pricey for a one-time entrance ticket. It's worth it, tho.

Deepak Goradia

TotallyTdisappointed. This monkey jungle is a big reap off. They charged us $30/person and we saw may be 5 - 10 monkeys and 3 birds. Then they wanted more money $81/person to take another tour to see more monkeys. I told them to shove it up. Don't waste your time. I can see more monkeys in Indianapolis zoo for $10 with many other animals.

Silk j

The interaction with the monkeys are priceless, my pictures dont do my post justice, I have so much wonderful footage of hand feeding monkeys I urge everyone to book the experience ( adult and kid friendly) about $90.00 toatl for upclose feeding experience about $30.00 for entry/gated feeding.

Jessica Galeano

Way too expensive. Not enough things to interact with. Besides the pricey entrance they want to sell you pricey packages to have more to do. Best part is seeing the silver back gorilla. He’s extremely smart. Recommend that everyone goes at least once

Paige Agrawal

This place is amazing. One of the best places I’ve been to that have animals. Most places have wild animals in small, sad cages who end up having mental issues (which are visible like pacing, scratching etc). This place had most of the animals free and if they were in cages it was appropriately sized and designed for the animal. They all looked very happy and healthy too. Only sad thing I saw was a big blue macaw in a very small cage :( really hoping this was a temporary situation. Other than that I had a great a time and will definitely be coming again. It’s a great experience for both kids and adults!!

Kelly Kennedy

Super cool experience! Feeding the little squirrel monkeys was the neatest!

Heather Williams

Omg this is one place everyone needs to visit! We visit everytime we come to florida!! Never gets old.

Lorena Linares

Honestly one of the coolest experiences you can have, it's worth paying to feed the monkeys in the rainforest tour. Bailey is super friendly. Thank you!

john tucker

Really cool experience

Rafal Koscielniak

It's pretty basic and not much to see. Only thing worth the time was King the gorilla.

Heather Thomas

Wonderful experience. Do the behind the scenes tour and feed the spider monkeys.

Claire James

I'm here now, and I can tell you after being on some amazing animal experiences and zoos and reserves for way less expensive, this place is a COMPLETE RIPOFF at $40 pp plus you pay for food. Not worth it just to put a few raisins in a dish or tube. And most of the primates are actually in cages, despite the claim.

Lucy Machado

Very intresting monkeys and gorilla mr. King he is just too cute and amazing. Very clean and very well kept place. Kids will enjoy and family.

Tinee Haskins

Hadn't been here since I was a kid. It's not the same. Idk if hurricanes changed it but was very disappointed. Not worth the money to me. Had been bugging my husband to go show him. Went while on business in town. They had only one gorilla and it never showed his face cuz they said he so picky he don't like the rain or wet grass so for that show it was a no show. They should have him in glass so you can at least see him. To us the gorilla is the best view of all the monkeys. Then they had no orangutans. They said one died of old age and one of cancer. This was sad to hear but if your a amusement business don't you buy more? The Baboons was a nice look. They had 2 of them. The man feeding the giant turtles was good. They have birds but I'm not a bird person. Just wasn't the same for me.

alejandro vega

Clean place, excellent for kids, good maintained and the shows are informative and funny. My daughter was injured by an ant (eye) but the attendant helps fast. My big disappointment was the price, is to high for one hour of visit (not big place to stay any longer) out of that. A lot of trees to cover by action of sun

Shellie Baucom

Was a cool place. My son loved feeling the moneys. They should have had a area where we could have been more personal with the moneys.

Erica Anderson

This is a bit over priced for sure, as other reviewers said. This was the second time we have been here. When we went many years ago, it seemed better and not as expensive. The girl that did two of the shows didn’t seem very friendly or enthusiastic. The place felt a little sad. It was especially sad when we saw a younger monkey with his leg chewed off, trying to crawl. We reported it to staff, she looked at it and told us that monkeys have magical healing power and it would heal by the next day...um, ok. I understand that they can get in fights, as they are wild creatures. Don’t treat me like I’m an idiot. It would have been much better to just tell me there must have been a fight and you would get help for the monkey. P.s. we happened to see them sometime later go in and retrieve it..in a garbage bag. I guess that one didn’t have those magical healing powers. I thought the gorilla was cool and the guy when we first walked in was super welcoming. It is a unique experience with the monkeys pulling up little baskets that you put raisins in for them, so it gets a couple off stars from me.

Lisa Layne

Great place to take the kids and learn alot about rainforest

Natalia Grbovic

Cool place, you get to feed monkeys wile walking around. Place is not huge and shows are nothing special. My opinion it is too expensive for what you see

Rob Laske

Nice place and staff except the blond old lady at the front desk taking care of purchases. Super hot day when we went. We wanted water so I left my wife and child on the other side of the park to go get some snacks and slushies and water... too bad the snack bar closes 2 hours before the park does...like why even have a snack bar if you dont open it to paying customers. So when I went in to just settle on a bottle of water and the old lady asks for my ID because I'm using a debit card... ITS FREAKING MONKEY JUNGLE!!! are you seriously going to make me walk all the way back in the heat to get my ID or cash?? No reply.. I swear it's really hard to find decent human beings nowadays.. I could care less of how petty this may sound. But I know one thing and that is that this immoral person ruined my day. Never will I return. Nor will I reccomend. It's the little things owners.

jeff g

Fun place to interact with monkeys

Christian Ford

Lots of fun! The Amazon tour was worth the 90 bucks

Patricia Garland

Not outstanding for the money. Miami Metro Zoo is far better for less. This establishment is privately owned so cost is passed to customers. Amusing for children.

Serhii Berlinskyi

Had a lot of fun here. Was impressed to see the Gorilla putting the empty plastic bottle into the trash can after emptying it (smarter than some people)

Jenn Majus

Loved the experience of feeding the monkeys! They have shows too! A bit pricey but worth it cause this isn't a zoo, it's more of a sanctuary. I'll happily support that. And they have a rain policy where you get a raincheck if you choose to leave during a storm.

Tonnis J. Poppema

Quite far out of the Miami area. Nice forest like area. Admission fees are very steep (30 $) and if you want to get close to the primates, as in feeding them, you pay 90 $! per individual, which is extremely expensive

Charles B

Cool animals and very friendly staff...

Daryn Daniluk

The park is still family owned. The staff is passionate about the pirates and king the gorilla dis not disappoint. I went add a boy, our hurricane Andrew. Some of the enclosures could use updating

David Kessler

We've loved this place since the 1970s. There is no other place like it.

Steven Buser

We love Monkey Jungle. It's a great place for children to learn about animals in a natural environment.

Chuck Em

Pretty nice place. Monkeys roam around free and you are the "caged" one. A handful of shows to see though they may be a bit dull depending on time of day and time of year. Cute way to feed the monkeys available throughout the park. Bird and reptile displays too. Can be done fully with all shows and sections in about 3 hours so a nice way to start the day before moving on to a nice brunch or early dinner.

Nathaniel White

Quite the hilarious experience! Although not cheap ($29 for Adults), it is worth the price of admission. Plan on spending about two hours, walking around and feeding all sorts of monkeys and apes; highly recommend buying a couple packs of raisins ($1 per pack) and feeding the monkeys and tamarinds on the left side!

Psymont Lance

This is a unique experience to say the least. My family and I absolutely loved it. We also did the Amazonian Rainforest tour where you get to interact with squirrel monkeys and capuchins (but they are more shy). Unlike other encounters at other zoos this one was totally worth it because you get to spend up to 45 minutes in the area with a guide who helps facilitate interactions.

Dimitri m

Surprisingly good. We weren't sure about going in because it seemed too expensive. $30 adult and ab the same for kids. But overall it was a great experience and a fun place

Lisa Tisone

I love the monkeys, but this place is a little too pricey for how small it is. There are other places around with more for less.

Preston Zaehringer

We took our 2 toddlers here and enjoyed the facility however.... I think the admission price is too steep for families

Angela Cristancho

The place is small, I dont think the space is enough for the animals, they look really sad. There is too many mosquitoes and the price for the admission is high compared with what the place offer

Octavian Cioca

Expensive if you wanna feed the monkeys, worth the price when you see the kids faces fooling with the monkeys

Kisha Donley

Amazing experience. Highly recommend the rainforest adventure tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, patient and kind!! I will be coming back and bringing the grandkids.

Adrian Seife

Super fun to go with your family

Local Guide

Very friendly staff! A great place to see monkeys in an open environment. We humans are now "caged" as we walk through their environments to see them happily at play and enjoying themselves. Amazing to see how smart and attentive they are. You can place food in cups dangling by a chain, and the monkeys will pull it up to get their treat! Amazing! King the Gorilla is a great sight. Love how he communicates with his handlers, and how his food is delivered to him. A great way to spend your day!

Terri Breedlove

We really enjoyed the monkeys! It was fun feeding them and watching them. The only bummer was when we went to watch the gorilla show, he was being very stubborn and refused to make an appearance. The girls tried very hard to encourage him to come out. But unfortunately he would not budge. Of course I understand animals are unpredictable and you can't guarantee anything but we word have liked to at least seen a picture of him or a video would have been nice. We never even got a glimpse of the big guy.

Jenn Roux

Incredible place! Loved getting to talk to the trainers and how they really care about their charges!

Kari Kovacs

Lovely animals and fun for the kids. Highly recommended.

Sabina Nierząd

Clean place, good tour, and I can tell that they take care of those animals but anyway I feel bad for them to life in a cage

Sherry White

Make sure to print any coupons you want to use. We went during Miami Attraction month and did not get to use the BOGO offer because we didn't have a printed coupon. This is an excellent park for young children to enjoy because it is on the small side. As an adult I had a blast feeding the monkeys. You can purchase small boxes of raisins or craisins for $1. There are machines around the park selling sunflower seeds for a quarter. The monkeys are behind fences. There are bowls hanging from the fence. You place the food in the bowl and the monkey pulls up the bowl and takes the food and then releases the bowl. It is a fun experience. For $90 you can take the tour and pet the monkeys. There are short scheduled presentations during the day to learn more about the monkeys. There is parking right in front of visitor center. They have a gift shop and a small snack stand. There is a picnic pavilion to reserve for parties.

Chris Babcock

This was an interesting place, the paths are a little difficult to navigate with a stroller but it worked. The monkey's at the monkey pool didn't show up for the afternoon feeding since it has been a busy day. It was worth it, a fun afternoon with the family.

George Dee Hawkins

Wonderful entertainment. It is a great place to bring children of all ages

Ynez B

Second time visiting monkey jungle. First time I was a child and this time with my child. It's still family owned which I think is awesome. The staff is truly dedicated to the well being of all the little babies there ❤ can't wait to go back

Jul

Wonderful place!!! It’s our 3rd time visiting and if always feels like the first time.

Maria Camacho

LOVE monkey and customer service very friendly

Jay Haygood

This place amazing experience. For 89 dollars plus tax. You can walk around and like the squirrel monkeys climb on you while you feed the healthy food. This place offers you the best time in your life. I highly recommend you got and learn about the monkeys.

H W

Very cool place. Not a ton to do, but what you can do/see is worth it. The Jungle Adventure tour was very cool.

Levana Hyll

Came as a child and returned 40 yrs later. Still a good experience. Hope to bring my grandchildren someday.

Sarah Cochran

Not wheelchair accessible unless you have a big strong person to push the chair through mulch. Went today with my husband and my mother in law, she is not a big woman and has a new wheel chair that usually rolls like a dream but I wasn't able to push here through the mulch and the cheap mats they had down just roll up in front of the wheel chair. The mats were so bad my husband elected push her through the mulch. He's a strong man but it was all he can do to push in some spots, we had to get on either side of the chair and lift her at a few spots.

daniel role

Best experience and totally worth the price. The rainforest experience was so great, cant wait to do it again!

Nina

It was really fun. Shows are the times they say they are. Cold snacks and water are available to buy. Monkeys are SUPER CUTE.

Jessica Walker

My kids loved all the monkeys, especially feeding them. We opted for annual passes since we are local and it was only $10 more than the daily passes. Figured it's a good place to go to get out and walk in nature. It's not a long path since most of the place is open to the monkeys and we just get some loops to observe them, so it's even good for quick trips.

Natasha McManus

Great place to visit! Staff was friendly and the young lady who does the animal shows was very knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions. Great gift shop as well. Even though the monkeys were contained, there were opportunities to interact with them. We saw birds from all over, as well as turtles, tortoises and an iguana.

n Couch

Small and friendly place! In about 2 hours you get to see the whole place. Free parking. You can bring your own food and have it in the picnic area, they sell beverages throughout dispenser machines only.

Tara Fogleman

We absolutely loved our stop at Monkey Jungle! As a person who began my career as a primate researcher, I was nervous that I would find inadequate enclosures and sick animals. This was not the case! I thought the guides here were knowledgeable and compassionate, and our interactions with the animals were safe and in their best interest. We did the 45 minute monkey interaction tour and then spent another hour or so walking around the property. The gorilla talk was fantastic and the guide there was superb. Great visit...we will be back!

chris hale

So much fun my daughter loved it. And great for taking pics of animals.

M Tamimi

So much fun to feed the monkeys!

Maria Marchan

No too much to see, monkeys a few. The place is very small you go thru in less than an hour. Very expensive for the time you expend inside. We were 2 adults and a child almost a $100 only on tickets. I will said first and last time there.

Victoria Cervantes

This was the best my kids loved it. We are from Texas.

Peter Frew

This place is cool 3 to 4 hrs

Burmman Jess

Great place. Fun for the whole family.

Donald Wallace

The best way to have a close encounter with the squirrel monkeys. They literally eat right from your hand.

out of the box thinking

Very entertaining, just be ready to explain to the younger kids what that monkey is doing if ya get the drift.

Aaron Kruger

This place is amazing! Loved seeing and interacting with their animals. Highly recommend!

Eric Semet

It was my second visit there, despite the rain we managed to see all three. Good place to go if you have three hours.

Angela Hawkins

Been vacationing in Miami Ft Lauderdale area for 20 years. Wished we found this quaint treasure years ago! Do the rain forest enclose encounter! Its amazing! Young children will love this! ❤️

Gio V

Great zoo to visit with family and friends.... little pricey but we had fun

Big Don Hazlett

A great way to spend the day with family and friends

Bianca Perez

Everything was nice and the animals are very well taken care of but a little on the boring side. Cafeteria was closed that day so nothing but chips and banana pops and drinks to eat. Very beautiful though and MOST of the staff is welcoming and friendly.

Giulia De Martino

a real jungle surrounded by nature with really a lot of very nice and sociable monkeys the very good guides and even the shows pity that we were there a few hours due to rain and know that they do not reimburse the ticket, but they were nice that there they said we could find the next day if we wanted to.

Pablo Garcia Jr

Awesome place for kids to learn and interact with wildlife!

Kandy Anzalone

Interesting and informative. Can be done adequately and entirely in 3 hours. Plus, nearby there are numerous attractions for children such as the Pinto's Farm, which is directly across the street from The Monkey Jungle. For the adults, there are numerous farmer's markets, where you can purchase a wide variety of fruits and vegetables grown right here in The Redland. Several of these farmers markets also offer fresh and unique fruit juice bars to banana bread, some even offer live music.

Orlando Calvo

Very nice place for be with the family has 3 littles show you can see all in about 3 hours the relaxing feeling is good

Linda Ceylan

We had such a great time . My boys loved it! It’s a sanctuary for 100s of monkeys. There are a few other animals but the monkeys are the main attraction. It’s a learning centre. What a privledge to meet a 50 year old gorilla with a sense of humour. I thought the staff was nice, knowledgeable and welcoming. We highly recommend the monkey jungle.

Chris B.

Very fun experience - $20 or so will get you in to check out everything and to join the group presentations with info about the different animals. I suggest doing the private tour with the squirrel monkeys. It's about $90 a person, which at first can shock you, but in my opinion is worth it. You really can't interact with monkeys like this anywhere else. They don't rush you in and out so you'll get plenty of time plus the food/treats they give you to feed them are unlimited. They also let you take as many photos and videos as you want. Staff is great and it's a fun time.

Danielle Darby

Honestly one of the coolest experiences you can have, it's well worth paying to feed the monkey's and do the rainforest tour. It's such a hidden gem that I would 100% recommend, you really learn a ton and the staff is great, knowledgeable and super friendly! We'll definitely be going again in the future as it really made our trip to Miami above all else. I should note I've seen people mentioning the bad conditions and from what we saw the monkeys had plenty of enrichment, space and didn't have to do anything that they didn't want to, staff was actively cleaning cages and running around doing something for them at all times.

$89 pp to get up close to the monkeys, about 3-4 shows at 3 different times. Loved seeing the monkeys and the gorilla but major improvements could be made.

Monkey Jungle in Homestead, FL. was an AWESOME experience!!!! We had visited one other time years ago..and loved it, but this time... we paid extra for the Rainforest Encounter for my birthday present.... What a BEAUTIFUL experience!!!! There was a small group of us and the monkeys came down so we could get up close and personal with them! Wow!!!! Our guide Bailey, was very nice and extremely knowledgable and filled us in on the monkeys and their lifestyles and behaviors. Bailey offered the food to us freely... which attracted the monkeys to us! Our Ranger Christopher (Chris) was very helpful and also very knowledgeable.... We were in the Rain Forest for a good while... so you really get your monies worth. The Rain Forest ticket also includes the 3 shows and further monkey adventures in the park... where the monkeys are above you and drop bowls down on chains for you to fill up with raisins. What a great experience!!!!!!!

Lots of monkeys you get to feed and come close with, only $30 admission. Well worth it

Loved our trip here back in 2015, still talk about it today. Loved feeding the little guys and learning about our primate friends

Great place to take family. Little ones loved feeding the monkeys

Kids had alot of fun, seemed a little expensive for a large family. Nice to be able to do close to the monkeys and enjoyed the walking paths.

I have always loved visiting Monkey Jungle, ever since I was a little boy. My children have been here with me and now my grandchildren. Folks who commented negatively probably never visited, or if they did, they just wanted to be "entertained". It's not a Sea World or Disney World type place. It is a research and educational facility that began allowing guests paid admission, in order to help fund their research for the good of the various species. Keep that in mind and take the time to read up on the history and focus of Monkey Jungle. Then you will appreciate what you are seeing there.

Very few attractions for expensive visit

Well worth the money and I would highly recommend the tour where you can get up close and personal with the monkeys... My 3 year old loved and the guide is super awesome and caters to children...I am definitely coming back!
