This Zoo belongs to the category of Boat tour agency.
Grounds clean and all staff were knowledgeable and very polite. It was an amazing experience. Price was worth it. 60 Airboat ride, Gator show with the Gator Boys and family pictures and with baby Gator all included in one price amazing. Highly recommended.
Everglades holiday park was awesome. We booked this through our hotel with no problems. Our bus picked us up and took us to the Everglades. Everything ran right on schedule and seemed very organized there. Sammy was our airboat driver and she was great. We saw multiple gators and she made sure to get us as close as possible and for each side of the boat to get good views. There was even a gator eating something by the trees. This was such a cool experience
A bit smaller than I expected but overall great! Airboat captain on lady liberty was amazing and so was the gator show with Chris.
Boat ride was great, the show was "meh", but overall good place to take the kids for a 1 or 2. We opt for the VIP tour, I could pickup and drop off at the hotel, free water, got photo with baby gator, and no lines to buy tickets or show. But it is hot, not much shade.
We had so much fun driving the fishing boat. We were 4 adults and we enjoyed it a lot.
Took my family while on vacation in Florida. We had a great time, but we chose the hottest part of the day try to go earlier in the hottest months. Very informative and family had a blast!
Good trip. Was hot, but the tour guide was wonderful and made it from. He made sure that we saw lots of gators and identified the various wildlife.
Our lady airboat driver was the best. We had a blast and made it back in one piece.
Everglades Holiday Park is amazing, we had a great time both on the airboat ride and during the alligator show. Paul is an amazing entertainer and a great person in all. We appreciate what he and the rest of his team do. We love him and can't thank him enough for what he does for the alligators and for allowing a picture to be taken of him and I for my kids.
Amazing experience ! Clean ! Professional! And so much fun for the whole family
Had such a great time!! By far the best thing I did while on my week visit to FL. Our captain, Swamp Thing, was really great!! Outgoing, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable! We saw a few alligators, but even without that, still would've been a great tour!! I didn't have to pre-reschedule, I bought my tickets online and when we showed up, we signed up and only had a 15 min wait. Definitely recommend!!!
I was a little apprehensive at the start of the airboat ride because the guide said alligators are very shy and it is not that easy to spot them in the wild. However, half way through the ride we saw the first one, and i was very pleased that another five or six followed. They are peaceful creatures and not threatening at all. The show afterwards was simple but very informative. All in all an attraction that is worthwhile.
We booked this through our cruise line before flying home and we had an amazing experience! Our guide was experienced and very knowledgeable. We saw 2 alligators and our guide made sure that everyone got pictures. The show at the end was also very good. I highly recommend!
Great stop in the Everglades for a cool airboat tour. Captain Jeremy was a knowledgeable guide that explained alot of things to us. We saw many Gators, birds and fish all up close. Then we watched one of the Gator boys do a show with gators in the enclosure...included in the ticket price. Well worth the detour.
The airboat ride was a lot of fun as well as being informative. Our captain gave us a lot of insight into the park and the flora/fauna. We were able to see wild birds, fish and alligators. When we got back there was a gator show and the guy doing it was very pleasant as well as being funny.
It's a bunch of tall grass on air boats. I guess it is as expected. It wasn't something I cared to do. Perhaps the rating is better than a two star, I've not visited any other similar establishments to know, nor do I care to do so. The tour guide was good and very informative with a lot of humor. It wasn't a bad experience. If someone I knew wanted to ride air boats through the Everglades, I would recommend EHP.
Great place to kill a few hours. The airboat ride through the Everglades was informative and fun. Capt Rob was a great, and wet host when a downpour came through. The other shows were also entertaining and informative. Great for kids. Quick drive from Ft Lauderdale.
I had a great time at Everglades Holiday Park. We took a ride on the air-boat and it was really awesome! I've seen pictures or videos of the rides but taking a ride in person can't be beat! I would definitely recommend it.
I was able to visit here from purchasing a shore excursion package from the carnival cruise ship. It was very affordable and worth the money. I had a blast. First time visiting Florida and the Everglades. I learned a lot about the different types of animals, plants and the environment. It was very educational and fun. Started the visit off with sailing on the fan boat. Sailed through the canal and got a great history lesson from our tour guide Don. He was very knowledgeable. Also saw some alligators in their natural habitat and was able to get up close to them without fearing for my safety. Afterwards we got to see a show by our gator girl due to the unavailability of the gator boys. She did an amazing show and educated her audience on the Florida laws when it comes to alligators and also what they do their at the park. My party and I loved it. I think it would also be very kid friendly. After the show, you have the option to take a picture with a baby alligator and a snake if you want. I did, for I couldnt pass up the opportunity. Food was also delicious, although I didnt eat the alligator meat, I stuck to the chicken haha. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable and fun one with such an excellent ending
The great experience with real interactions with Florida alligators in the Everglades. Our captain of the boat was super knowledgeable with a lot of Everglades experience. Took the whole family and loved it. If you visit South Florida you need to go at least once.
Great experience. The show was very informative and neat to watch
Fun and informative ride in the swamp with cpt swampthing
Hands down it was amazing. Mike in concession, Crazy Caption Mike, and Chris the Gator show dude was all great! Gator bites and fires are amazing but the birds will get you if you don't cover it with a napkin but it's so fun. Recommend it for all
I went twice. Was already really nice 4 years ago but now they renovated the alligator show area, it is awesome! Book in advance for discount and a free group photo. A lot of parking spot. We enjoyed the boat ride and comments! The show was really funny and cool! The little is not as expensive as I thought it would be. I think 10$ for a child t-shirt for example.
One of the better alligator tours to go on. Spent a little over an hour in the everglades on a shaded airboat which was great. Gator show was fun as well and the freebies of group shots is a nice keepsake too.
Do not waste your money! I would give this tour a zero if I could! Spent over $200 for this! So disappointed!!!The tour guide only wanted to talk about the birds, trees, and grass. We only saw 2 alligators the whole time we were on the tour!
The airboat ride was awesome!! We really enjoyed being able to see the gators and baby birds up close. However, there is a lack of of organization and difficulty handling large crowds. You are basically on your own to navigate where to go.
Great fun and the animales seemed happy . It's their natural habitat and very educational . The place it's a quick hour from Miami beach , great daytrip.
Great place to come and see the Florida alligators and learn more about them and the Everglades. Captain Fiesta was a great airboat driver and gave us lots of great survival tips. Kevin was a great "Gator Boy" for the alligator show. Very entertaining and enjoyable experience. Nice complimentary photos to take home.
Really really fun. Make sure to do the air boat ride. Captain Jeremy was great and so was Bill the mechanic (talked about the engines on the boats with me)!
This is a great way to learn about the Everglades, the history, and what’s contained in them. Very educational and funny. Our guide was comedic and made the trip fun. We saw a few different wildlife including several alligators. The shop and staff was very helpful and kind. It’s very kid friendly. Many people of different nations came while we were there. Lots of souvenirs to choose from to take home. Also, free parking!
Enjoyed the gator insanity! Air boat trip was really cool. Gator wrastlin was magnificent!
When you go into the main building or call them up to and sign up for a boat tour, ask the girls who do the boat assignments to get you on Charlie’s boat! He’s not only a great captain but also gives good breakdown of the history of the Everglades. Amazing tour and I’ll be doing it again! Good pricing too.
I recently visited Everglades Holiday Park while chaperoning a field trip. The air boat tour was fun and very informative. Our tour guide's nickname was 'Swamp Thing', as was his boat. Swamp Thing was very knowledgeable about the everglades, its ecosystem and history. During our air boat tour, we saw quite a few Gators (albeit tiny ones), various species of birds and all kinds of plants and insects. The alligator show was OK, but the presenter did his best and had a great sense of humor. The children attending the show seemed to enjoy it. After the show, there was an opportunity to hold/pet a baby alligator and get your picture taken. There was also a small exhibit of various animals native to the everglades. I can't remember them all, it was just a handful, though. Pythons and pigs(probably boar?) and such. I tried the deep fried gator bites. It tasted like chicken, but much leaner with a funky after taste. It was pretty good in my opinion. All in all, the kids had a good time and seemed to learn quite a bit about an important part of Florida's ecosystem thanks to our tour guide, Swamp Thing and the gentleman working the alligator show.
Great day out.Well worth a visit to see this fascinating part of Florida. Its huge and has so much wildlife.Great to see it's being looked after. Captain MT brought us out for a brilliant trip around the water.Plenty of alligators to be seen and they came right up to the boat.Give it a try you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely loved the hour long air boat tour. Seeing amazing creatures in the wild was fantastic. Not sure about the "show" afterward. I'm sure alligator wrestling has a long tradition but it just seemed cruel to me.
I prefer airboat rides without a roof. It's good if you want to avoid the sun, not as nice if you want a better view and considering the rides aren't that long and are very, very expensive. I rather have the good view.
Had and excellent time, the guide was fantastic on the air boat tour. The only downside is only due to the weather on the specific day we went. It was pouring rain and I happened to get soaked on one side because i was sitting on one of the edges of the boat. On the upside we say many birds despite the rain and 3 alligators, 2 of which swam right next to the boat. Overall a great place for a couple or a family.
Awesome, and funny tour guides. Some of the boats are older, but overall a nice place to check out. They need to give you the pictures at the end, I’m sure a lot of people forget to go back inside to pick up the pictures they first take of you.
I like this place just wish there was more to offer for the price. More Reptile viewing. Your lucky if you see 1 or 2 Alligators on the airboat ride. And watching the Alligator show is nice but we need more. Sure you get to take a pic with a baby Alligator or a large Albino Burmese Python. But it just isn't enough for a Reptile lover.
Fun place to visit both for the kids and adults. We booked the trip there through an agent who insisted that we had to be picked up and driven there in their bus, but that's another story. An enjoyable 45 minute boat ride with a great guide originally from Chicago. Lots of interesting facts about the Everglades during the trip. Got to see a couple of Crocs also, so everybody was happy. Short alligator-show afterwards with a guys showing off a couple of tricks with the alligators and cracking easy/fun (depending on your kind of humor) jokes. We enjoyed ourselves.
Wish we would have seen more gators on the boat ride but the captain did tell us because of the season they are more hidden. Still had a blast and the gator show was pretty cool you also get free pictures. Also for all military and vets you get 50%off!
Very fun for all ages... Great event if visiting the area
Update below***Airboat captain Dave was great! Very knowledgeable and funny. Show was performed by Kevin, and he was fun with some great dad jokes. There were not as many animals as we expected, so be prepared. The photo is very quick, and felt very impersonal. Would have really liked for the kids to have a chance to all atleast touch the animal, considering the price. I would go during a cooler day, as there weren't a lot of opportunities to cool down. We purchased "gator tooth" necklaces for the kids. At 10 each we expected lower end, but not for them to break within an hour of wearing them! The tooth is held on by a small VERY bendy thin aluminum type folding clip. It is not a jewelry attachment ring, or anything of quality. Very dissatisfied
Great trip saw multiple alligators and assorted wildlife. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny.
Airboat tour was informative and fun! Alligators came right up to boats. Rescue alligators are used in the brief alligator show to help raise funds for a no kill alligator sanctuary. Definitely a must do tourist destination!
Very nice place to just go out on the water or go fishing. You can launch your own boat or go on a tour. Have been there twice when I go on vacation to Florida.
We had an excellent tour with capt Bob this Tuesday such a great knowledge guy and really made the tour fun, We saw lots of Alligators in there natural habitats do learnt a lot about the different plants growing in the Everglades a great tour and not to busy, Try it Great price also
We drove up from Key West for the day and it was well worth the trip. It's an educational trip through the everglades, and a great way to spend the day with friends and family. The fact that we were given a 50% discount for our military service was an added bonus, but we would've paid full price. We didn't go because of the discount, but it was much appreciated!!! Just one note of caution, if you decide to avail yourself of the Gator Café, protect your plate, the Grackles will dive bomb you and try to steal your fries!!! Enjoy!!!
Had a great time doing the Everglade tour at Evergaldes Holiday Park. They are very organized and have fantastic tour guides. Dillon was our tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the ecosystem, he was pleasant and even kind of funny. Definitely recommend this tour!
If you enjoy the outdoors you must take a tour of the Everglades. You saw 3 different sizes of alligator throughout our whole tour.
Awesome experience. Wanted to come here for so long, it didn't disappoint me
Super amazing place that all tourists must see... great captains, great airboats... covered seating... we saw a lot of alligators and other wildlife... they have a Gator show too... an hour of life you’ll not forget... DO THIS!!!
We had a fantastic experience in everglades travelling as a group, my favourite part was riding the airbout out into the wilderness, we did see alligators but also many beautiful birds, some of them came close-up to have a look at us. I also saw fishes like oscar's and gars which was a big deal for me. Nice show by Chris (or was it Bob?) I admire what he is doing for the gators.
The experience was awesome. My family and I had a great time. The airboat ride was cool just wish we would have seen more gators. The gator show was pretty cool as well. Would definitely go back.
It's wild how the alligators just casually swim up... so cool to see the birds also
The best experience I ever had. I feel so foolish for never going to this sooner. I can not believe I am a Florida native and I’m just now going here for the first time. 1000% would recommend
Great place, been going there to fish since I was a kid, and still doesn't disappoint
We learned a lot about the Everglades. We saw many different types of animals. I would definitely go again!
Low stress tourist place. I got to hold a baby alligator and watch the alligator wrestling show. Very enjoyable and worth the money which isn't much. Reminds me of the Florida I experienced as a kid.
Wow it was awesome you can see the fish swimming in the water the gators come to the boat he took us to a spot we seen a eagle the trip was great
Excellent place. Our guide Baby Face was fantastic!! The alligator show was so good. Would go again
Absolutely amazing family experience. The guides on the airbag tour are fantastic and the live show is a great mix of comedy and action. The entire trip is very informative and educational. Truly a 10/10 experience with the guides and the amazing sights. Recommend for everyone visiting the area.
This was an awesome experience! My family and I had a great time. Free parking, great pictures, cool alligator show. The airboat ride with Captain Rob was by far the best part of the experience. He was funny, super entertaining and so well versed in Everglades ecosystem and it’s inhabitants. He knew just where to find the gators and other cool creatures. He’s great with kids too, made my son feel welcome from the start by making him honorary First Mate and interacting with him throughout the tour. Definitely ask for Captain Rob when you visit! - From First Mate Nate and Family
This place was super cool! Guide on boat ride was awesome. Went out of his way to make sure both sides of boat saw everything worth seeing. Great info about Everglades, the boats themselves. So glad we came here.
Very good and informative place to visit! Saw 3 giant alligators in the river and also Chris gave amazing performance with the gators. Definitely suggest for those who are looking to visit somewhere in florida with their families!
Boat ramps, boats for rent and docks for fishing. Air boat rides are a great spot to take tourists or locals that haven't experienced the Everglades. The rides are educational and fun, they have some big gators in captivity for a show. If you walk the levees early or late watch for snakes. I actually saw a woman get bit by a snake while walking or there wearing flip flops, fortunately it was non venomous.
It was great! No long lines. Got to see gators in the wild and the show with Paul was so nice! I'd go again.
Boat ride was fun! The guides do there best to make sure everyone on the boat gets to see the alligators when you happen to see one... they make the ride fun and have good jokes. Animal encounter was also worth it to see the animals up close.. we were told 5 animals and only got to see 4, however it was a great time. The gator show was also very fun and the guy was hilarious!
Great place! I’ve come here several times, it’s fun to rent a boat and do some fishing and exploring in the canals on your own or do the guided airboat tour and they’ll make sure you see a few gators and birds. Everyone who works there is nice and has a sense of humor. Gift shop with snacks and ice cream is a huge plus for families with little kids.
Had a blast! They ride was not only fun but educational. We saw 3 alligators! Ask for Swamp Thing, he was our tour guy! He was not only skillful at driving the airboat but very funny. We got completely lucked out by having him as our tour guy. The Everglades are beautiful.
This place has been a go-to for all of our family visiting. However, they went out of their way when my nephew got overheated. They made sure that he got to air conditioning quickly. They got him wet towels and water quicker than I would have, trying to ask around. They got us a rain check and we were able to come back three days later. This location is easily one of the greatest around and always puts on a good tour for their customers.
Superb everglades boat ride with amazon guide M. T. We saw 8 gators some swam within inches of our boat. Five stars all the way.
Such a great time! Our guide MJ was awesome. We seen 3 gators. The largest was about 8 feet. The food was so good. We had the platter, which included frog legs and gater bites.
This was actually more fun than expected. Ive done an airboat with another company and seen not 1 Gator in the water, so I was satisfied seeing a few here. The after show was cool as well.
Jeremy did the tour and he was awesome! We saw some Gators and lots of birds. Kevin did the entertaining gator show
great 1 hour tour. good alligator show afterward. it's not amazing or dazzling by any means but it's great to watch or for wildlife and get a real life view kid alligators and solve of the history behind the Everglades
Note: in Summer months it rains most everyday around 2 pm. Plan accordingly or bring a poncho, or you will get soaked. Great experience! Highly recommend!
This tour was a blast. Captain Dylan was awesome. Some people who come here in hopes to see their favorite "Gator Boys" might be disappointed though.
Great place!! During an airboat tour, we enjoyed feeding birds. They land and eat from your hand!! Saw two alligators up close, several turtles, and lots of different kind of fish. Everglades has tons of beautiful water plants and trees, even an apple tree. The tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. Alligator show was educational. At the end of the show, kids got to hold a baby alligator and take pictures with it. Also visitor shop has unique souvenirs. I learned a lot!!!
The private tour is the way to go. Kinda pricey but worth it. Captain Mark was an excellent guide! He took the time to tell us all about the Everglades and the plants/animals that live there. While not guaranteed to see gators in the wild, we saw two! The gator show was good. Make sure to sit in the shade after the airboat tour though. I burned up pretty bad even with sunblock. The gift shop is small but nice. A little high in prices though for what you get. Bathrooms are small and not the best but serve their purpose. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.
Excellent airboat ride. The tour guide Chaos was fabulous. You can tell he just loves his job and all.of the animals. He was amazing. I highly recommend this place as a must see.
Wonderful. Definitely worth a visit, or two. The volunteers are very nice and supportive and the show was impressive. The lady who performed the show is a very brave woman as alligators are dangerous creatures. This is a place that was totally worth the visit. I rarely if ever give 5 stars but this place deserves it. We saw several alligators swimming in their natural habitat, a few of them circled us and came really close to the boat I could almost reach out and touch them. I got flashes of the movie Blackwater when this happened. Even got to take a picture with a baby alligator.
Great time had by our party of 17. KC did an amazing job she was very knowledgeable and found 5-6 gators for us to see up close along with lots of other wildlife. I don't remember the volunteers name who did the wild animal show w the gators (possibly ?Chris?) I know he said if we didn't like him his name was Bob he shared interesting gator and community information with us and was even sorta funny. So nice to know you're a gator rescue and are doing good things in the community also. Great place to visit we highly recommend plus we love the photo opts and the pictures were a great added bonus.
Perfect tour while your in vacation. They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us back off. The tour guide was very fun even while teaching about the Everglades. We seen many many alligators. The show after the tour was very fun. It was done by one of the gator boys. He is very brave. Time of my life.
This visit was a thrill for me. I'm 75 years old and this is the first time I've visited. During the boat ride I saw alligators rather close up. Then we went to the live alligator show which was exciting. Very nice gift shop. Would gladly go again and would highly recommend that others visit here.
Fantastic Experience. The Airboat tour was really great. You actually can gain some serious speed in those things! Our Guide, Kacey, was incredible knowledgeable about the Everglades and a friendly and fun presence for the tour. She spent time after the tour answering all my meticulous questions with great pleasure (So it seemed, at least!) I was concerned about the ethics of the alligator show they put on, but I encourage you not to be! All the gators you see there are actually classified nuisance gators by the State of Florida and get killed on site if they cause issues for Florida residents. This company collects them and holds them at this park until they can find a sanctuary for them to relocate to so that does not happen. So even though you see them locked up, it is literally that or death. In saying that, they do have an Albino Alligator and a baby alligator that are just there to play, which is the only part I felt weird about. But you aren't forced to interact with it, and they charge for it so if you disagree you don't have to support that.
Awesome experience. Our boat captain was great. He was very informative. Loved it.
Went to Everglades National park and had a wonderful day. I saw the Peacocks walking in front of us and ducks and critters. Many cars and Vans take the visitors for tours. I didn't go because we went for BBQ. They have only benches but my family took the small BBQ from home. It is such a lovely day. There is a store where it is possible to buy snakes and gifts. There is another store where are sold sandwiches and they have Gator meat. I didn't try. Curious, but more traditional , this is why I didn't try. It is a good place to visit and admire the nature. If bringing a ball or hammock it is even better.
Swamp thing was our guide. A local man with bags of knowledge. Saw alligators, turtles, iguanas and watched the birds hop on the boat to be fed. Great trip. Shame about the bus transfer to get there though. Shocking driving. He moved off before we were seated and I really hit my leg. Very impatient driver who dropped us off at a different place to where we were picked up. Our tour was for 1 o'clock, got picked up at 2.10 and didn't get back untill 7.50.
I got what I paid for. A boat ride that at times went fast. I saw wild life. Learned about the Everglades some and saw a short show after the boat ride and got 2 free pictures. If I lived here I'd take people who were visiting me. The Down side is that it was very hot and all outdoors but that's to be expected in florida.
What an amazing adventure. Mannix absolutely loved this day and Captain Jeremy! Definitely a place to visit. The information captain Jeremy gave about the Everglades and the habitat was awesome!!!
Booked a trip through GetYourGuide and we enjoyed our time at the Everglades Holiday Park. Had a 30 minute air boat tour with „Captain KC“, who provided us with many interesting facts about the Everglades and managed to show us four different gators and other wildlife. After that we saw a funny and impressive alligator show by Kevin. Didn‘t do a photo with the baby alligator because it cost 10$ extra. Spent approx. 2:15 hours at the park.
The tour here of the Everglades is the best! If you go on the fan boat ride, you will definitely not be disappointed. Up close encounters with would alligators can be a real thrill!
Thia place is great. The air boat captains are great and the alligator show is fun and exciting. This is my second time there and will definitely be going back.
Well worth the drive to go on the boat ride of the Everglades. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and the gators friendly too! Very different to anything you will see
Captain Rob and “Captain Lucy” did a great job guiding us through! What captain rob did was guide us through a excellent tour through the wilderness to see the alligators and crocodiles in their normal habitat. He also picked a random co captain which he is able to involve in the journey. That’s why captain Lucy had a great time and so did we all.
Very friendly staff. Had gator bites and sweet tea from the cafe, they were delicious. Then watched Kevin do the Gator show. He was great. Very talented, personable and quick with the corny jokes. Also the show is very informative.
Fun tour of the Everglades in an airboat... guides are very knowledgeable and entertaining... alligator show after the tour is educational and entertaining
Such a great experience rain or shine! Friendly staff and delicious food. They are wonderful stewards of the Everglades.
Family friendly place with good value for money. Trips are short yet fun. The staff is friendly and very courteous. Highlight is the boat ride and alligators show. Please tip generously
We had a great time here. Took an airboat ride , learned all about the everglades . Plenty of gators and other wildlife. The gator boys put on a great and very informal show. A must see event. We had an awesome time
Had a great time! The tour was very interesting and was longer than other companies I looked into
Great place! The tour guide was super informative and made sure both sides of the boat got to see the different animals, plants, etc in route. Makes taking pictures a lot easier! The guy doing the Gator pit show has a great sense of humor. It was fun to get to hold a baby gator after the show. The little cafe has gator bites, which are surprisingly good if you've never tried gator before.
Our tour guide Captain Mike was awesome! He was knowledgeable and very funny. He was also a great alligator spotter!!
Overall great experience for the price. My boat Captain was knowledgeable and funny. The boats are covered on top and in the front to protect from the sun and wind. It gets loud when they push the boat at higher speeds. 95% of the ride is at slower speeds, so earplugs aren’t necessary. After the boat ride, you have a ticket to the gator show and opportunity to take a picture with a baby gator. I spent about 2 hours at the park. Everything was well organized by the staff. Wait times were minimal. Recommend for a visit.
Awesome, cool captain with nickname 'babyhead'. He was really nice and he didn't want to leave befor we find aligator and how he promised he did.
Nice to see the alligators in the Everglades and the tour guide was super informative. We booked this excursion through carnival cruise ship and the gentlemen who greeted us was rude and bullying me for more money. Also reported this to carnival.
The airboat tour of the Everglades was great. It's really beautiful out there. We saw two gators, including a mama protecting her nest. The alligator show after the boat ride was interesting, but there wasn't much to it. I loved that we got a free group photo before the boat ride and a free one of my daughter holding a baby alligator afterwards!
Ride was really nice. Cody did a great job. The facilities cost them some marks. Bathroom smelled and it seems they could have been more organized.
Had such a good time with Capt. Martin! He was so knowledgeable and friendly. Set out hoping to see 1 gator and ended up getting AWESOME pictures of at least 7 different ones! Wonderful experience
Reasonably priced adventure. The facilities are very built up with lots of parking. Our guide spent a lot of time talking from preservation and ecology viewpoint. We saw alligators in the wild but there is also a handling show that's part of the deal if you don't.
Overall, the experience was fantastic! I suggest mid morning as we got stuck behind a tour bus that arrived around lunch. The price was good given the length of the tour and the information. We saw three alligators and each time our boat driver got us very up close and personal. He also provided in-depth history and several show-and-tell subjects. The only drawback was the political commentary from our boat driver. We had a couple from Germany who spoke decent English but he made a point of reminding them to speak English. He even stopped in the middle of the tour to rant about speaking English and to not even come to the country unless you speak it. Pretty ironic given that his tips rely on tourists from all over the world. Uncalled for and uncomfortable.
The boat tours are very inexpensive, and there are free professional photos. There is an animal encounter of sorts that you can do before and after, with a range of different animals to view and hold. There are also free professional photos offered there as well. After the airboat ride, there is an included alligator show while an alligator wrestler provides fun facts and entertainment, along with incredibly dangerous alligator wrestling acts, for 20 minutes. After that, you pick up all your photos, including one of your family holding a baby alligator. The tours and shows are very well run, and are very interesting and definitely worth a day of you stay in Florida.
Had a great adventure here. Beautiful place to visit.
Great place and fun atmosphere. Highly recommend bringing the kids to see some wildlife on this one. Go when it is cloudy though! You will see more gators during cloudy weather.
Very friendly staff. They know the area. The alligator show is informative and you can tell they actually care about them. Easy to get to, not too far out.
Glad to see its still here and not another planned community development but its no longer the mom and pop place I remember. Lots of tour buses and so busy.
Had a great boat ride with “Captain Mike”. He really made sure to give everybody a good view of the alligators and wildlife. Even gave us some good survival advice with the nature! Very one of a kind experience and highly recommend for families vacationing in the area!
Bus driver very friendly. Journey took 1 hour because it was Sunday and roads quiet. The airboat driver very knowledgeable and we saw 4 alligators. Some very close to boat. It was excellent. The gator show was good and nice to see these were rescued animals that otherwise would have been destroyed if it wasn't for this facility. Only downside was there was very little time to get food from the cafe due to the queues. Bit more organisation needed there. As a result it was a bit of a rush at the end. You also get a free family picture which is a nice touch. All in all I would recommend it.
We decided to go to this place to see the alligators as it had more than 4000 reviews. Drive was easy and easy to book and get into the airboat. We went for the trip today and the boat number was 17.The captain who is also the instructor for the trip took totally about 60 min show us around. He took us to couple of us spots where he thought there would be alligator and we ended up seeing maybe two or three. During the rest of the time he spoke about trees, birds, grass etc,..The cost was $35/person and it was of absolutely useless. I wouldn't give that much just to watch three alligators. Please do no go to this place. End of the trip, the captain asked all of us for tip indirectly obv. We didn't have cash so we had to walk last. When we did so, we experienced racism. This place is not worth it people. Please do not go there.
Fabulous! We came last year and had Dillon as our airboat guide. We really wanted him again...he was funny and we loved him. Unfortunately he had just left, so we got Armando. He was also fabulous! Great personality with a great sense of humor! Highly recommend Everglades Holiday Park.
I like that the photos that were taken of us during the animal show were included in the price. The ride in the water was nice to see the alligators. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a little bit confusing to see where to go for each section but all in all, we had a great experience.
Captain Jeremey was a hoot! What a fun and educational experience. We really were not sure what to expect but we had a great time and he made sure it was fun and laid back. Kudos Captain Jeremy!!!
Great tourist place to see gators in the wild. The place can get crowded on the days cruise ships are in town. However, they have plenty of air boats to keep up with the tourists. The 60 min boat ride is just enough time to get to see gators and enjoy a nice ride in the air boat.
It was really cool & rainy when we were there, but we waited for the lightning to clear & went on our airboat ride. Our captain was amazing, we saw at least 6 gators and he was super informative & friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to see Paul was doing the shows that day, my kids still love the Gator Boys show. All in all, a really great value for your money.
Everything was fantastic, loved the boat ride, pictures to take home, gator presentation, and even the damn bird that stole my chip right out of my mouth lol. It was hot but there were plenty of places to sit and rest in between your exploring. You definitely get your money's worth.
Beautiful scenery and tons of wildlife. Nice visitors center and lots to do. Airboat rides also available. Really fun for the tourists that like to get outdoors and don’t mind the heat too much. Great place for visitors
Excellent staff. Captain Fiesta was awesome. He is a one of a kind Captain. He made our boat ride a complete thrill!! Not a moment of boredom.
We had a boat ride with captain Chaos and it was a blast. The air boat runs well and really gives the experience you are looking for. Plus CC answers your questions before you ask them. He even kept running in the rain! The show after was great too. Helps you understand alligator behavior. I recommend it.
Our boat tour was great with Captain Erik "Baby Face" . We saw a few alligators, it was super cool. The show with Chris was amazing. Will definitely come back again.
AWESOME!!!! Our Driver, Frank and air boat Captain, Mike booth did an amazing job teaching us about Miami's history, architecture, the Everglades, Native Americans living there and of course ALLIGATORS! We saw 4 Alligators on our boat ride and learned about survival techniques, should one of us fall off the boat.
Awesome! I love it! We saw a bunch of alligators. We even watch an alligator chasing and biting another alligator. Exciting! Capt. Cody is the best!
I'm only speaking my own opinion. For me it was an absolute waste of time and money. We've spent $70 for a 60 min boat tour under the heating sun in which all we saw was 2 birds and 1 alligator's head in the water.
This was so fun! Loved the airboat tour, we had an awesome Captain. Only saw one gator, but I understand you can't make them do what you want. The gator show was cool and I was pretty sure the guy was going to get eaten. Only complaint was sitting on the bleachers was so hot (to be expected for Florida), but maybe they could add some industrial fans or something to get the air moving? Overall highly recommend!
We had a lovely and fun trip! Our tour guide was fantastically humorous, and we did get to see gators with his expertise. Fun all around! Beware, it is a bit of a tourist trap, and it does get EXTREMELY busy; even so we were on a boat within 10 minutes of buying our airboat tickets, which is an organized feat of awesome. Thanks guys!
Fantastic day! Well worth it! The gator show was fantastic! We had Thomas as our VIP TOUR GUIDE. ride to and from hotel. He was entertaining and Fun for our party of 8. Great way to spend the day. Would highly recommend for everyone! The boat ride was a blast. Jason was a fantastic captain. Loved every minute!
Captain Rob was great , probably one of the best , great jokes the whole ride. The outside restroom were very clean , but the bathrooms by the food court were disgusting . The tour was funn we saw plenary of alligators.
Very cool experience with the kids, a little pricey in my opinion as everyone going in my family was expecting 100's of gators. Reality sets in and yes we did see less than 10 gators in the water, yet very up close when on the airboat. The gator show with the Gator Boys was the perfect amount of time, entertaining and educational. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. We drove from Miami Port to here in about 40 minutes, spent 2 hours in for the ride and show and were on our way with Ice cream. Enjoy!!
Excellent time, saw a few alligators and Jeremy was an excellent captain. Safe and exciting. Also Kevin's show was very fun and would highly recommend this for a family adventure
Captain Fiesta did a great job. Parents allowing their kids to play video games with sound on their phones did not.
A good half day out. Bit disorganized re croc show. No definite start time so massive group came in when it had already started and disturbed everyone. We went with a tour from our hotel so picked up and dropped off. Boat ride was excellent, very informative
Very lively and experience tour guide. The environment and animals were beautiful
The experience was so awesome. We saw 3 gators in the water!!!! Highly recommend this, as a thing to do in South Florida!!!!
The boat ride was exciting. Our guide was a local man and knew so much information. The Everglades are beautiful in every way. Including all the wild life we were able to see. Everyone seemed to be genuinely interested and having fun. I recommend it!
Very nice, one minor issue. They advertise with & about home of gator boys. No gator boys merchandise. Daughters would have loved to vet some down there. The park & activities awesome
The airboat was fun but we only saw one gator. Our guide was amusing, I enjoyed him. The rest of the park, well, you're not missing much. A quick little show with a gator and a picture with a baby gator behind the bleachers... and you're done. Most of the staff in the shop at the counters were very unpleasant. Just stared at you until you said something like "I would like to buy tickets". They move you from place to place like cattle. One and done kinda place.
Super fun, the area was neat and clean. Our guide was hilarious and entertained us the entire time. The food was just okay, but you had to keep it hidden when the birds came around or they would walk right up and steal your food. It was not expensive and it was also on my bucket list of things to do. I am not disappointed. They also have a live alligator show and you can get your picture holding a baby alligator or snake, your choice
Fun place to experience something fun and different. It's very cool to zip across the water thru the grass.
Ask Tammy for the best airboat captin ever. CAPTIN COREY.
Really fun and organized. I wish I could remember our boat captains name, but she was so fun and knowledgeable. Especially about birds, which was great for me because I love birds, too. The pictures were awesome and the Gator Boys show was pretty funny. Loved his sense of humor.
So I was expecting swamp water and sludge all over. It was the most beautiful fresh water and we actually saw 10 gators. It was absolutely amazing. Our guide Cody aka Swamp Thing is a must have guide. His knowledge about the Everglades is historic, and he’s extremely funny. My friend and I had a blast!!
Absolutely amazing experience!!! Cpt. Dan is the bomb, very knowledgable!!! Spend the money again in a heartbeat!!!
Was okay. Worth it for first timers. Not the same as it used to be just go down the main canal so if you have been years back just be prepared. Did get to see 3 alligators. The food at the main building was good and a great way to try something new if you never had gator or frog legs.
This tour was just incredible. Our tour guide "M.T" was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information and insight about the Everglades.
Great little weird place that is uniquely Florida. We always have a great time here and we love the gator bites most of all. The air boats let you see the Everglades up close without going way into the wilderness to do so.
Great fun and very interesting. We came here on an activity provided by Carnival Cruise. Our airboat driver and guide was Swamp Thing, who was a fun and knowledgeable guy. We learned a bit about the history of the Everglades, how the natives lived there, and about a variety of plants and animals. The airboat ride was thrilling, and we saw a number of different birds and five alligators. Alas, no crocodiles. The alligator show was done by Kevin, and I admit it was a little nerve wracking when he put his chin in the alligator's mouth. Especially after telling us how much force and muscle is behind an alligator's bite. But the show was very good and Kevin an excellent and enthusiastic demonstrator. After the show, we had the opportunity to get a picture with either a baby alligator ($10) or an albino alligator ($20). Note the price is per alligator, so you can have more than one person in the picture. You can also get an additional magnet or keychain for $5.
We had Captain Arr. It was an amazing boat ride. We saw 4-5 alligators. You'll enjoy it. Great show at the end as well.
