I had a lot of fun here, and they seem to be treating the animals well. That for me is the big make or break item with places like this. You could tell a lot of the tortoises were ex-pets, which is nice. Family who adjust recently moved to Florida took us here to see some of the wildlife. It's not exactly the San Diego zoo, it's not a destination location, but I did have a lot of fun.

Had a great afternoon here. Well priced venue for the items offered. We bought day passes.This included the park walk, shows, air boat ride and trail ride. It was fantastic with great weather to boot. Great to know they take safety very seriously as well. That was an added plus with so many kids around.

This was a pretty fun place to visit. We were there in August when most of the gators had headed for cooler waters but our airboat operator knew were to find a couple of them. They do a pretty good job all around, the critter show, the snake show, feeding the otters is pretty fun too.

Meant animals that you can get up close to. Just be aware that there are NO refunds on boat or buggy rides, even for weather. So check weather before you buy!

Great experience, airboat and swamp buggy tour excellent. Good restaurant, sanitary bathrooms. Animals on display great. My only reservation is that it is difficult to get pictures while on the swamp buggy since it rarely stops long enough. There was a deer, the driver did not stop at all so we were unable to get a quick photo from our seats on the buggy.

This place and the people were absolutely amazing!! We were to celebrate my Mother in laws Birthday! Everyone there helped make this day just that much more special for her. Lindsay, El, Margarita, Hans, Armando, Devin ---- Big Thank You to each and every one of you! The passion you all have for your jobs definitely showed. We actually went back there next day as well because we wanted more from their gift shop and the energy in this place made it worth it. And yes my mother in law was wished many more birthday wishes, they remembered us!!! We rode the swamp buggy, Hans was our guide - the best part was when the water buffalo came charging passed us- nothing like a good scare to get your heart going- The air boat - Armando, very knowledgeable, knew exactly how to make our ride so much more enjoyable, his energy was so great!

My family and I visited the Park yesterday and had a blast. Honestly not 1 complaint. I was very impressed by how clean and neat the park was. Animals looked like they were maintained very well. All the instructors had great knowledge and personalities. Devon was riot on the Buggy. I would recommend her. Thanks again Billies.

Love this place! It's a bit of a drive, but definitely worth it. It's a small complex about four buildings. There's a nice restaurant and Bar with mostly American fare and some Native American dishes thrown in. The Critter show is really fun. They bring out a super friendly, super tame deer and they give the kids pieces of Apple to feed the deer. They also bring out a skunk, gray fox, and baby alligators that people can touch and hold. The snake show has venomous snakes in it and it is very interesting. I highly recommend it! The Swamp Buggy ride was really informative and they have a ton of wild animals and you can see them in natural Preserve and not cages. Even a very friendly ostrich. The airboat ride was not scary or loud, just super fun! Bring the kids, a hat and sunscreen, and enjoy!

We had a blast at Billie Swamp Safari! Hank on the airboat and Jocelyn on the swamp ride were fun and knowledgeable. We went in December and it was sunny and warm, but not too hot. The restaurant has great food, big portions, and reasonable prices. Overall, we spent about 4 hours enjoying the rides, the animals and nature, and the food. Highly recommended for a family outing and nature lovers.

Experience the cheeky, I believe it's only 40 to stay overnight. Fresh linen on beds and they close the park at 6pm. So you can walk around in the park after hours, also they have showers

Great place that has a petting zoo, gift shop, airboat rides, swamp buggy rides, animal shows, clean rest room and ok and reasonable restaurant. Only did not like how they burnt one side of my grand daughter’s grill cheese sandwich. The airboat staff was professional and made it a great first experience.

This place is awesome. As a father and Scout I can't say enough. Very reasonably priced. The staff was wonderful. They were both fun and informative. Do the complete package and plan on spending a full afternoon. There are a lot of tourist traps in Florida but this isnt one of them. My opinion they are sincere about loving south Florida and it's heritage.

A must visit. If you wanna see the Everglades, Billie Swamp Safari is the place to go. Besides the airboat ride they provide information about the local wildlife, you can taste alligator meat, they have a petting zoo and several shows. Great location, marvelous staff!

We had a great time. Save a lot of money buying tickets on Groupon. Would recommend the critter show is cool for kids as they let them pet and hold animals including a baby alligator. Our tour guides were knowledgeable and the food at the cafe was pretty good and very cheap.

Our family went for my brothers 10th birthday and we had a blast! We went on the airboats and Hank our driver was very knowledgeable. The animal shows were awesome and the buggy ride was super fun and our driver was funny and knew what she was talking about. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I’ve been to several Everglades airboat tour places around South Florida and this is by far the best. Not only do you get the airboat tour, but you also get the zoo and even a nature talk where you can have a deer eat out of your hand!

Easy to get to. Billie Swamp Safari has animals that are well cared for and their habitats are clean. We enjoyed sleeping in an authentic chickee hut directly on the Everglades and hearing the sounds through out the night. Hans who ran the venomous snake show was very informative. Noah our swamp buggy driver told us about the land and how the Seminoles lived during the wet & dry seasons and that night in our hut when we read The story of Micco-A Seminole Indian boy, from the classic book from 1935, Eight Little Indians was exact from our swamp buggy ride. The cafe served fresh, tasty & nicely priced food from friendly servers. We really liked the petting zoo too. We saw Billie Swamp Safari at The Sugar festival in Clewiston give an alligator wrestling demonstration and Maria who worked the table for Billie Swamp Safari at The festival told us about the park and went over what you could do, sold us. The park is perfect for one day and night. We had a great time and I totally recommend Billies Swamp Safari. Great family adventure.

This was a great place to spend the day with the family. Our family was able to experience the critter show and an air boat ride, both of which were very fun! The critter show was informational and interactive, allowing you to get up close to many native Florida animals. They also have enclosures for you to view many more wild animals. I personally loved getting to watched their baby otters at feeding time! Make sure to bring sunscreen and your camera for a family fun day!

Would love to review a swamp boat or airboat ride, but we couldn't get on one. They claimed weather, but there wasn't a storm within 20 miles all day. We tried 5 straight hours, but they weren't running anything. We ate at the restaurant just to kill time and it was mediocre at best. Too pricey for what you get. The animal exhibits were a bit disappointing, but I'm used to a top zoo in Cincinnati zoo so all are a bit of a letdown. Even if they gave me a rain check I wouldn't have come back. Not worth the drive just to chance the whole day on summer weather in Florida. Especially the way they do it.

Very good airboat and swamp buggy tour. The guides are knowledgable and are very good about pointing out animals, birds and plants. The guides stop for you to see and take a picture. The property had other things to do and see as well. There is a restaurant and ample bathrooms.

This place is the coolest!! It's so BEAUTIFUL on the Everglades. Took a tour on the air boat and we a great tour guide! We walked for hours around the park as well and looked at all there was to see. Divided on how to rate this place?. I'm sure at one time it was really nice. You can tell a lot of money was invested in this place a long time ago. Since then though it has been neglected and is in need of a serious makeover,update and cleaning. It is free to walk around and go on the boardwalk/nature trail. It costs to take a swamp buggy ride, see the animal shows and to stay here. I don't know why anyone would want to stay here as the smell is atrocious! The poor water quality has affected the entire place. It reeks so bad I plugged my nose and breathed through my mouth for the few minutes we were here. Hopefully they can clean this place up and give it an update? The water quality and smell though is there to stay I do fear.

One of the best places you can take friends and family especially kids to see the natural history of Florida and to see the wildlife get a first-hand look at this native animals in their natural habitat you'll definitely learn something from the tour guides not to mention my favorite part of Swamp Buggy rides and airboat rides are amazing and they even have a restaurant to eat at called the swamp water Cafe where you can get frog legs Gator tail catfish in any other type of food that you may not be able to get at your standard restaurant going enjoy it and have a great time and be prepared to want to come back

What an amazing experience! My kids loved it. They got to see, pet and hold so many animals. We are Florida natives but we don’t always get a positive encounter with alligators, snakes or turtles. This place has it all and is growing. The Florida panther is a sight to see. Also the airboat and buggy rides are well worth the time. Definitely a great family adventure day!

Had to take a rain check due to weather. Staff continued to pitch tours and sell tickets to new guests as they walked in despite telling us events were cancelled. We bought tickets, walked to the buggies, then told of cancellation. Rain checks have no expiration though. Happy about that.

One of the most amazing places in Florida! This is why this is such a wonderful state. It’s a magic place, different food. I tried the alligator tail bites! Very good. I suggest you have the swamp options. The animals are so close, exotic wolves, panther, and the cattle is super friendly. So much fun we had. The airboat is something you MUST experience. The driver super friendly and very clear about the swamp knowledge. If you want something different and support the local culture, this place is something you’ll always remember.

We had a great time today at Billie Swamp Safari. When we first arrived, we were told that the boats and buggies may not go out due to thunder and lightning in the area so we visited all the exhibits. So much to see and do, even without the boat rides. We fed alligators and crocodiles along with otters and parakeets. See my pictures and you will see all that they had to offer. The weather cleared out while visiting the facilities and we went out on an air boat ride. Great staff and a great time to be had. Two thumbs up.

The ultimate Florida experience. If you want to have a great time while learning about the history of the Everglades and Seminole indian tribe, make sure you stop here. Airboat rides, swamp buggies, animal shows, petting zoo, and a really cool gator pit where your kids can feed the gators. My fave guide is Noah, I swear he knows more than Google. Great prices too, unlike other touristy places.

it’s not bad. i will say, when we went to eat, it took them thirty minutes to get our drinks and the food shortly after. also, our airboat broke down, and on the radio they said, “oh yeah! that happened the other day!”. but, our airboat and swamp buggy driver, hanz, was amazing. he was nice and very knowledgeable. and, if you are in the heat, and debating weather you want to go see the zoo or not, it’s just like any other zoo. so, you wouldn’t be missing anything special. but overall not bad.

This is definitely a hidden gem. Excellent place to walk around and do buggy or air boat rides. Nowhere close to the actual Everglades experience, but this is a different league in itself. I did the one hour buggy ride (VFM at 25 bucks) and was thoroughly impressed with the service and the guide / driver. The walk around later around the property was fun too, with a few animals on display. Must do if you are around this side.

I really enjoyed the airboat, the staff were very friendly. I didn't like the large animals like the panther in a very small enclosure and all by himself. I realize at this stage they can't survive in the wild but this is inhumane treatment and I hope they change this.

Our Visit to Billy Swamp Safari was AMAZING! We were a group of 8-10 men and women celebrating a members birthday. We wanted to do something we have not done and our goal was to see some gators! We experienced the petting zoo, small yet mind blowing zoo of incredible and beautiful creatures, great restaurant,gift shop but most of all the airboat ride on the Everglades! Our Host and Captain Armando was extremely friendly, outgoing, funny and very informative. He made sure everyone was seated safely and provided us with necessary ear plugs.During the ride he pointed out birds, features and history. We got a very up close experience with a few alligators which was a great sight to see and helped some of us conquer are nerves(ME)! Lol. I would have to say that this overall experience of the ride was beautiful but our favorite was of course seeing the gators and also the few moments of quiet and just listening to all the pure nature around us. We had an amazing experience and look forward to returning very soon and hopefully getting to take another spin with Armando. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!

This was our first visit to this location. It definitely exceeded expectations! We experienced both the Swamp Buggy as well as the airboat ride. The guides are very knowledgeable and share about their Seminole culture and the animals and nature that we encountered. Their animal enclosures featured native and exotic animals. Unfortunately, the alligator wrestling has been suspended, but I hope it will return as the guide said it is deeply rooted in their culture. They had a lovely gift shop with novelties and Seminole created treasures. A restaurant is located there which has a varied menu. Otherwise, you need to pack food as there are not many options for eating in close vacienty.

WOW, What an incredible little place. All the staff was very knowledagle and knew what they were talking about. The airboat ride was first up on our list and it was so fun to see gators just chilling on the side of the water, we even got to see one eating what looked like a bird! All while we were taking pics the air boat driver was telling us really neat facts about them. After that we went to the little dinner they have there and the food was really good. The wait was a little long be they got swamped(pun intended) Afterwards we walked around and saw the bears and talked to the birds! It was so cool. There was a snake show and that was really entertaining. The snake handler knew what he was talking about and went into really good information about the snakes he was holding. One of the snakes was a Water Moccasin which was really cool to me! If you are in the area this is a must see. The gift shop was really cool and I'm huge into gift shops so I just had to get something. The drive out here was worth it for sure.

I had a quick visit here and really enjoyed the small zoo - alligators, javelina, and even a pair of wolves (which both started howling when we were standing there - incredible to hear!). The cafe is also a nice place for lunch. The menu includes a few more traditional Seminole dishes, although there is plenty to please any type of dietary preferences.

This was our second trip and second year in a row to visit Billie Swamp Safari. It is just amazing! A must go see! Hank, was our guide on the airboat tour both years and made it super fun and educational. Jocelyn, was our tour guide last year on the Seamp Buggy tour and is married to a Seminole Indian so she gave us some extra information about the land and the history. Natasha was our tour guide this year and we learned more different tidbits. Both had great tours. You can tell the people who work here love their job and provide a great experience for their guests! Great experience. Airboat ride was fast (the boat speed). Kids had a great time (10-11 y/o). Got to feed the gators, sheep, and a miniature horse. The otters were adorable. Surprised they had bigger animals like a couple bears, wolves and a cougar. Would definitely go again.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Unless you are a complete nature freak do not come here. For starters you might as well baithe in bug spray. I have an uncountable number of mosquito bites and that’s not all.. Along with the mosquitos there are numerous other flying insects called love bugs. Although they do no harm there are a continuous number of swarm patterns of these bugs. They are just completely annoying and make some of the tours up to 1 hour not enjoyable. The only thing remotely good about our trip today was the air boat tour! The tour guide of that tour was not knowledged about what he was talking about and the only good part was when the boat went at a faster speed because you could consider it a ride. My uncles car wind shield needed to be cleaned after all of the love bugs being smashed against it. My kids were very miserable and they did not have a good time. DO NOT COME HERE

Had a really great time here today. We did the swamp buggy, air boat, and snake show. All the workers were very informative, funny, and professional. We also ate at the restaurant on site, the Indian taco is amazing!

The petting zoo was amazing. The animals actually come up to you! This doesnt happen often at other places. The parrots talk and they have a variety of exotic birds, wolves, and otters. I had a lot of fun on the airboat tour and the guide was really funny. The restaurant there was pretty good too. Overall I had a great time and would recommend to anyone!

An excellent attraction to visit when in the area. The shows are informative and educational. It's a great place for adults and children. The dining accommodations feature great daily specials and even a stand alone salad bar. A true gem to visit and worth the trip if you haven't been there yet.

On Indian territorie they can do anything to animals, including leaving without water! Animals go crazy here with high temperatures, no shades and no water for the wolfs digging holes to scape and shipe meeing abd svreaming! Please di no support animal cruelty! Awful n embarrassing!

Beautifully well-maintained, Billie Swamp Safari is a must-see when visiting Florida. It's erected as a sanctuary for native animals and to preserve aboriginal heritage. We went without being convinced it would be a good idea, as we didn't want touristy stuff. Nothing further. We had captain Armando (I believe that is his name) and the the Swamp Airboat was a treat. This was a really fun day. Lots to see, experience and learn. Staff are amazing and friendly. Animals are well loved and cared for. Must get an Indian taco in the cafe. My nephews loved the taco soup. I have food allergies and they accommodated my food needs. The all day ticket is priced just right. Make sure to buy the gator food. As soon as they saw the bag coming ... They all got very excited including the turtle.

My wife and I visited Billies Swamp Safari on our way home from West Palm Beach to St. Petersburg. We were immediately impressed with the park and it's offerings. The whole place is maintained fastidiously and the organization of the park is awesome. Hank was our guide on the airboat tour and was absolutely phenomenal! The information he shared on the Everglades flora and fauna was fascinating and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Well worth the side trip and time invested, we have for sure put this on our "things to do again" list the next time we're headed in that direction. A big Thank You to Hank and the rest of the staff that were kind, friendly, well organized and helpful and very eager to take a moment to explain anything we asked in detail. Can't wait to come back, one of Florida's truly outstanding roadside attractions.

Employees were very helpful and friendly, we ate at the restaurant both the food and prices were excellent. Also the petting zoo and caged animals were fun to see and pet. We went on the airboat and buggy ride and both of the employee guides were very friendly and knowledgeable on the tour rides. There were plenty of animals on the reservation to see as we toured the property on the buggy ride and the airboat ride!!! This was a great experience for all to enjoy!!!!! A+++++

They have great animals to view. The airboat was and enjoyable ride for first timers. The gift shop is a must stop. They have unique products. Great place to take kids and family. My 70 year old grandmother's rode the airboat. It's a very great place. They staff were nice.

Turned out to be a perfect day. 2 shows and 2 rides perfectly timed despite the rain and lightning delay. Critter show was great. Everyone got to hold and let critters including baby alligator. Snake show was interesting with venomous snakes. Buggy tour was fun felt like the jungle cruise at Disney or Indiana Jones on an adventure. Airboat ride was fun. Hank was a great guide and driver. Saw lots of gators and learned about the history of the land and people. Everyone super helpful. Want a tru Everglades experience this place will do it. Jungle cafe was good, got to try frog legs and gator nuggets. Wife liked the salad and kids the chicken wings.

I've been twice in a month with my son and his friends , I can never get enough of this place! Captains are great, I could ride all day everyday, but the hands on animal education "show's" and staff are what make this place stand out for me. One question though, where are the sea lions?? Their habitat is not that appealing and they aren't there? Which may be good considering their habitat is pretty lame... But they are doing a lot of building and so on so maybe they are just not there because they are going to renovate? Can't wait to go again!

When I think about a day in the Everglades I think about Billie Swamp Safari! I have been twice now, each a decade apart, and each a very memorable experience! It’s out deep in the Everglades and such a fully enjoyable time! From the airboat tours and swamp safaris to the wildlife and shows and not to mention the delicious cafe; this is the place to go to get a full Florida Everglades experience!

The airboat tour was WAY too short for the money. The snake show was terrible. The guy had three snakes and spent a bunch of time talking about a rubber snake. Could have at least had some harmless snakes to pet. The other animals were pretty cool. Lots of crocodiles to see and feed. Overall great place for kids. Just wished the airboat and shows were better.
