Honestly, never been as big a fan of the bears. So unlike everything at the zoo that gets 5 stars, bears get 4. I also agree with Stephen Colbert, so there's that.

You need a lot of patience here. Bears are mostly resting. But sometimes when they are out and about or swimming it is awesome. The way these large creatures carry themselves is unbelievable.

Fun, fun, and fun! It is a lovely place to spend a whole day JUST remember to pack the following: 1- enough water and drinks 2- lunch and snack 3- good camera to take memorable photos 4- If you have kids bring swim suits/towels so that they can play at the water fountains. 5- a picnic mat so that you can relax and enjoy watching the view. It is good to bring a cooler with you if you have one or a wagon to put all of your stuff and drag it. If you don't have one you could rent it for 10$. Also you MUST wear comfortable shoes as you will walk for LONG. During this time of the year, don't forget to apply enough sunblock with water resistant before you go especially for the kids.
