Clean and well kept farm. Perfect size farm for toddlers to enjoy. Bring cash because it's cash only at the farm. Pack lunch to eat also. Go in the morning when it opens or after lunch when the school field trips are gone.

This is one of the best farms to visit for people of all ages. It's not crowded at all on a weekday and has so many animals to offer. Being able to enter the bird house was a lot of fun. It's great when the birds all sit on your arms when you're feeding them.

Went for a 3rd Birthday party and it was nice. The party was well organized and the two girls were great. The children had pizza and fruit punch. They were able to feed the animals and go on a pony ride. After the party you able to stay and play in the park or go on the bouncy ride. There is a store you can purchase food from and they sell groceries. They have parking.

A little pricey, but if you or your kids love animals, well worth it. My 16 and 12 year old daughters both loved it. My favorite thing was the birds. You buy 2 treat sticks for $5 And you can't believe how many birds come and eat right out of your hand. What a great day we had!

My 3 year old & 14 year old loved this farm. They had farm animals & exotic animals, i couldn't believe there were camels, monkeys, & zebras & more. You can feed the farm animals & give them a bottle of milk. It has a great play area for toddlers. Pony ride & a train ride. My kids loved the magic show & were very entertained. We enjoyed visiting this farm.

We have visited this farm many times over the past few years span across different seasons, they almost always have fun thing/something new to do. Our daughter absolutely loves feeding the bird and the animals, we have always had a great time visiting the place. I love how they have hand washing station throughout the farm and the place always kept nice and clean.

Pretty good selection of animals but they nickel and dime you. The cost was way overpriced. I had to pay $16 for each parent and $16 for my 2 year old (CASH ONLY BTW). Plus... Those are off season rates. They jack the price up to $20 a head during the "busy" season. Then they convinced me to pay an extra $10 for a milk bottle, a bucket with 5 ice cream cones filled with food, and a train and pony ride. The pony ride was nice but the train ride was depressing. The milk and food were alright, I guess, but went quickly. The thing that annoyed me was the food was closed. For humans there were no drinks, no food, no nothing. Feed the monkeys? Extra $0.50. Feed the birds? Extra $3. Want more goat food? Get your quarters out... The only thing I found that was free that was worth it was the giraffes which we were able to feed carrots and surprisingly it didn't cost me anything. We were there 2 hours and were 3 of maybe 15 people in the whole place. Kinda sad. Ironically their gift shop takes card.

WPFs is always a great time. Fresh produce, fresh made bread, and delicious lunch time sandwiches and salads. They draw a huge crowd on the weekends for their farm animal encounters and other fall festivals. Great for the kids and the kids at heart.

I used to love bringing my kids here every year whenever I’m in town to visit my kids. I really do love it, but the price is just getting ridiculous. I’m pretty sure the price is much higher than when we first came a couple of years ago. I don’t understand why they haven’t switched to credit still! Today, we did the whole place in about 2 hours and spent around $120 for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 3. To me that is a bit ridiculous and much. We don’t mind spending money on these types of things, but this felt a bit like we were being taken advantage of. Even the little market outside of the farm is overpriced. Just not worth it. Not sure if NY in general is just becoming ridiculous or if this place is taking advantage that they are the only “petting zoo/farm” experience in the area. I’ve been to actual zoos in major cities with similar feeding and petting experiences that still cost less than this.

I attended a birthday party here today for my friends two year old son. An apparent "manager" working at the time (I did not retrieve his name-he is a tall middle aged man who was wearing a grey "polo" with a huge bald spot, facial hair, and spoke with an accent) was OBNOXIOUS. He noticed the birthday boy himself had removed a balloon from a table fixture and he freaked out. He aggressively snatched the ballon from the boys hand and kept frantically repeating in so many ways that the balloons are not to be played with before storming out of the room with the entire fixture. There's a window that lets you see in to some sort of kitchen or storage area and I could hear him ranting and continuing to act like an a**hole toward other staff members. I thought I'd consider this place for my daughters 1st birthday but no way I'll risk dealing with this imbecile and getting myself in to any trouble. Kids love balloons, they're GOING to play with them. If it's such a big deal to play with a damn balloon than use other items to liven the party atmosphere. On another note, the exotic animals are beautiful but do not belong in such confined spaces, they seemed very "unhappy".

Nice place. But they deserve one star because they don’t accept credit cards, cash only! It’s 2019, Who still has cash in their wallet?! Visitors waiting on line were frustrated. On their site it says ‘An ATM is available on site for your convenience‘. I was sure they charge a minimum charge for a transaction, but guess what, the fee is $3. I felt like I’m in the airport or somewhere in midtown Manhattan. Anyway, they could change their Cash Only Policy tomorrow of they want to please their visitors. It’s really up to them.

Petting zoo was closed but I went to the market. Tons of fresh stuff and it's great. A little pricey but this isn't your everyday grocery store obviously so no surprise there. If it was closer I'd come to it more often but definitely worth another trip someday. Definitely doesn't have everything you'd want in a large scale grocery store but the things they have are unique and worth it

White Post farms is always friendly and great place to take your family. They offer military discounts as well. Lots of animals to see with plenty to feed them with. Overall a friendly family place. Price wise, its faily expensive. The food, rides, a tad over priced but still worth it. Plenty of places to sit and eat around the train. They have water slides during the summer months which is great. Plenty of play areas for kids.

This place is heaven for kids. So much to do, play and feed animals, hay rides, playground, pony rides, and way more ... fun never stops. Come during October for all your pumpkin needs or Halloween decorations. Food stands are excellent as well. Try the fudge!

Great little place. Entry was super expensive so bring a bucket of cash. They do have some great animals here though so it feels more like a zoo than a farm. So you have to think it can't be cheap to house so many animals responsibly with a large entrance fee. My children loved it.

Incredible spring activity for the kids. Love their selection of animals, from goats to lamas and giraffes, they have all the fun farm animals. Plus there's a bird house that gets you up close and personal with numerous types of birds and you can hand-feed them. Once you are done with feeding the animals, or the pony rides, you can run around on the playground that has slides, and various fun obstacles for kids. They can also play in the sand.

Its a really good place for kids but it is way too overpriced, they over charge for animal food, entrance is really expensive even tho it includes shows. On the bird sanctuary the employees pick the bird food sticks and resell them back to the public. Over all is lots of fun but Anything that involve animas behind bars is nothing but animal abuse. Unfortunately kids love places like this, and as a parent sometimes you have not much choice. They’ll honor the military, and give a coupon to other family members. Animals seem to be taken care of but it would be better to see them free instead of used for entertainment. Place is well located near 110 in Melville, they have lots of different animal species. Pumpkin picking, food, pony riding, a playground area, hay ride and more.

Every fall we take our two boys out here. They have awesome kids oriented games and amusement so it's not your typical hayride, pumpkin picking stand. This place is loaded with goodies for the kids. From bounce castles and sand pit shipswrecks and houses that they can climb jump and slide. Also magic shows and a petting zoo with camels, cows, buffalo, birds, etc. It's very cute and keeps the kids engaged in all facets of fall activities.

Petting and feeding the giraffe was awesome but this place is so expensive. It's 20 dollars a person (most days of the week) and then if you want to feed the animals, do a pony ride, ride the train... You have to pay extra. You'd think they could give you at least one cup of food for that price. Kids over 16 months have to pay that price as well. It's a nice place but the price is really high for something that really won't entertain your kid all day. (except if they like water because they do have bouncey slides with water which is cute but my kid is one and can't do that on his own)

I enjoyed myself here. It doesn't have a lot of animals but what they have is extraordinary. You can feed and pet the animals. There are picnic tables and play areas. It's a nice place to spend a morning or afternoon with young children.

This farm is a wonderful place to go for a good few hours of fun for kids and adults alike. I take my 3 year old nephew there all the time, and he enjoys feeding the animals and playing around on the large playground. They have a variety of animals, most of which you can feed with the animal food, and they even have bird houses where you can go inside and feed the birds with special food. I especially love the store right outside the farm with different cute little gardening things, and also the market with fresh fruits and veggies, and plenty of fresh baked goods. It makes for a very nice day trip, and I recommend signing up for their emails, as they often send out 3 dollar off coupons for admission. This place is 100% worth the visit

Why would you say the farm closes at 6pm when I show up with my 6yr old son at 5:10 to just see the animals for a little bit. He starts school this week and we were trying to fill our days with fun things to do before school starts. Thank you for not allowing that to happen at your farm. Been coming here for years. Every season, or year, they always have something different for the kids, and adults. My kids enjoyed the petting zoo, very hands on and interactive activities. Would be a good place to have a birthday party. Fresh seasonal local produce/farm stand for the wife. Good time had by all.

Beautiful place. Plenty of activities to do. Some parts are showing age but I was very surprised with the variety of animals at this place, it's more of a mini zoo then a farm. My favorite area was the bird sanctuary. Enclosed space where you can feed the birds and they will sit on your hand and interact with you. Plenty of parking available. Prices were reasonable. You could buy the usual food items fries, hot dogs, pizza, ice cream etc. Don't forget to check out the garden shop at the exit and also the grocery store at the entrance, farm fresh fruits and veggies. I give it a two thumbs up, must go for kids and family.

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 5 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: na Super clean zoo in the middle of the Bronx! Who would have ever thought that all this free space was chilling in NY with hundreds of amazing animals on it. We found everything from huge bears to full blown Tigers. I've never been to zoo and been so close to the Tigers. They also have a really neat Giraffe petting zoo that inside. This zoo has many awesome creatures. Everything is free for the most part but there are a few paid exhibits like the Gorillas. Other than that we had a blast and paid for nothing but a train ticket to get there.

Fun animal farm for the family, with a wide variety of animals. Definitely pay the extra few dollars to feed the parrots, an experience like none other. The admission prices have gotten a bit high, so take advantage of online coupons and other discounts. But the farm is still great, with a full farm store for groceries and bakery treats!

Bring your cash with you since they only take cash for the Admission. Adult tickets are about $20. The kids can ride miniature horse inside. You can feed the animals and they sell that at the time you pay for your admission. They have some rides inside for kids and they also sell drinks and food inside but cash only as well. It's good to bring your kids for a half day. I was only there for about 2 hours.

Probably some of the best pies on Long Island. Their pumpkin pie is just incredible and my personal favorite is the Fruits of the Forest. This pie has strawberry rhubarb, raspberry, blueberry and probably unicorn blood...its that good. We also had our daughter's birthday party here which was a great success. All the children had a great time feeding the animals and the hostesses were extremely sweet and accommodating.

This is a great place to take the kids. They can feed animals, play in an outdoor jungle gym, ride trains, slide down huge blow up slides, climb around in miniature houses, and in the summer participate in the outdoor water activities. It's always a pleasure taking the kids here.

First and foremost need to say I properly had as much fun as my 13 month old little girl at WPF. Feed the birds (two sticks with bird feed $3.00) and have them fly on you, feed the goats either feed (6 filed cones of feed for 5.50) and/or a bottle of milk (per bottle $5.00) feed a giraffe a piece of carrot (finally free but you only get 1 piece) , ride a pony (for kids only) (per ride costs $5.00) play in a bounce house (don't know how much for how long) and/or play in the grass (free at this time) this place has it all for kids. Why 4 stars, cost my wife and I; 58.00 (my daughter was free because she is under 2) and we didn't even pay to play in the bounce house. We loved it so much we got two season passes (they allow the paid entry fee to be deducted from season pass do it cost us 108.00) and we can go as many times as we want until September (though food for animals, milk, horse ride and bounce house are extra costs). Just know you don't have to eat inside (lunch or snacks) as you can get your hand stamped and eat at the farmers store right next door (they have great sandwiches, fresh smoothies and delicious deserts)

My family and I had so much fun at this place. It has so many interesting things to do and one thing that really surprise was that you can actually get to feed the giraffe!! Its also cute that you can bottle feed animals, although most of the animals that came for the bottle were adults instead of the babies. There are also lots of cute shows and some fun ride! Also you get to be in the large bird cage with the birds and you can also feed them. Some of them would fly to you if they feel comfortable around you! It’s really good experience for kids.

I come here quite often with my family, is perfect for children of any age( family friendly), is very interactive. The entry tickets is 20$ for weekends and holidays. You can purchase food for the animals, pony and train rides which is worth it. They have many different animals very lovable. My very favorite season to go is during the fall where you can do hayride, bounce houses and live shows all included in your entry ticket *(weather permited)* they have pumpkin picking, you pay before you leave the farm. I would recommend kids wear closed shoes, boots or sneakers the walkways are mostly dirt and bring wear warm clothes during fall since is in the open so it could get a bit chilly.

I loved this place when my so. Was young. Which if you have small kids it is awesome. But it not made for the kid in between small or teenager. It boring after a while. They have so much room to do a winter wonderland that is suitable for all ages. But it’s only fun for little guys. The themes for the parties don’t suit my child. But the staff is super nice. I do feel bad for those animals though. A camel should not be at a farm. It should be working around with its family. Sad

Me and my wife took our 6 month old son here to see the animals. On a Sunday at 3PM this place was packed, very hard to move with a stroller, and the enclosures were all pretty small for the animals in my opinion. We only spent about an hour here, since all he could do was look at the animals. I thought it would be a little bigger. All in all we wouldn't go back.

We loved our visit here. I definitely recommend it here on a rainy/drizzly day to avoid the crowds and if you get lucky receive a discount day ticket. It also tends to get packed on a nice sunny day. There were Still plenty of things to do here while indoors. A little on the pricey side since they charge for every activity you do on top of admission, but worth while to make the most of your visit. Definitely recommended for toddlers and young school aged children.

Our family came home for Christmas and it was also our youngest grandsons 1st Birthday so we figured we’d go see Santa, make crafts and enjoy the animals. We enjoyed the time. The staff is friendly and we made great memories. We stopped at the store and bought banana bread, apple crumble pie and a crumb cake. Everyone loved it all and we were sad when it was gone.

This is an amazing place for kids . They don’t take credit card only cash, it’s a little expensive but you will definitely enjoy this place . It’s a must go for all . Plz check out there freshly bake goods really nice .

Great fresh food but a little pricey. Well worth the money. They have a wide variety of food such as fresh vegetables, sushie, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, and homemade soups. They also have a petting zoo and gardening section which is great for family and children. They have a lot to offer. All their staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

White Post Farm is a family farm. You can take pictures with the Easter Bunny. The kids can paint eggs, watch a magic show, ride a pony, feed the animals and Easter egg hunt.

Great place to take the kids. My only complaint is that they upcharge so much. For instance, to feed the monkeys you have to pay 50 cents and you get like 5 or 6 little peanuts, not even a handful. Also, the price on the website was different when we got there. They had a sign that said "Today's fees" when you get there. They only take cash, so I'm glad I had enough to cover the difference in price! My kids did enjoy and I did too and it was fun to feed the baby giraffe!

Very nice facility, although I do wish some of the enclosures/pens were larger. But, the animals all seemed bright, healthy, and well cared for. I really enjoyed the aviaries and getting to feed the birds. Getting to see a Brahma Bull up close was also a bonus! There is quite a variety of species and some many people may have never seen or heard of! The enrichment rooms set up for the marmosets, lemurs, and spider monkeys were awesome. Loved watching them run around. As an adult and animal lover, I really enjoyed it. Definitely a great place for kids!

Can I be honest....the playground smelled like underarm and it was dirty. This place is way overpriced. A coffee was like $4. 6 mini donuts really “mini” was like $5. I gave it a 3 because the animals and attractions are plenty. I would have given it a 5 If playground was clean and it was a little less expensive.

Nice place for kids .. but expensive.. not just the entrance free .. but even other things like food,juices marketplace etc. But my son had the best time of his life there..

Alot of fun for the kids, there is so much to do. Food was great, the corn was tasty. Animals are gentle, the giraffe was amazing to see. The birds where cool to play with, its was fun to feed the monkeys.

it was smaller than I thought. It was nice to see the animals, to bad the weather had the giraffes inside and can only see them through a small window. They had a kids magic show outside but it was very cold and they had the metal benches that were freezing.

They have a lot of activities a lot of animals pony rides. I look forward to their fall festival and summer activities parking available the only problem why I didn't give them five star was because the only accept cash no debit card no credit cards. ATM on the premises
