Here you have the reviews of people who used the products and services of Trevor Zoo at Millbrook School (Zoo) in Connecticut.
At this moment the business gets a rating of 4.7 out of 5 and that score was based on 265 reviews.
You must have seen that the average of ratings that it reaches is basically the best, and it is based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can say that the assessment is quite reliable. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place evaluations when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Zoo corresponds to the category of Zoo.
I took my 8 month old grandson here. Not overwhelming!!! Only a few animals so you can go through quickly. $6.00 per adult. Students work on sight. Lovely for little ones with short attention span. Not for teens. Think they will be bored.
Wait till you see this place, the animals are well taken care of and the staff are so helpful. I like this place very much ❤️
Entrance fee was a bit high for its size. Plus most of the animals were out of sight. I wouldn't call it a zoo. I always make a donation when I go to animal sanctuaries to me that's what this place is.
Great place not too many people knew about
Great local zoo, loved student interns.
Soooo cute
The zoo is beautiful and very quiet.
Nice small zoo. Many Animals are in natural habitats. Well maintained and fun

Little but ok for children trips
It was good for the kids but I was expecting a little more.
We love this zoo!! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And the location is very picturesque. Great place to learn about the animals and interact with them!!
Fun for the kids
I live this of endangered species
What a beautiful place...
Very small but cute and clean. Gets crowded easily and lots of screaming kids.

Very charming zoo - some interesting and unique species, on lovely grounds. A nice way to spend an hour or so strolling outside with the kiddos.
Beautifully maintained zoo. Love the Red Panda's. So cute!
I love the trevor Zoo!!! I come to the zoo once in a while and its awesome!
My fave zoo
Good place for small children. Very small zoo but the price is worth it, unfortunately we didn't get to see a few animals but, it's okay!
Super cool zoo.
Perfect for young ones!!
Small but fun for the kids!
Very small but enjoyable zoo. Some enclosures are on the poorer side but most are good. A surprisingly odd and diverse collection of animals too
Quaint, just the right size and number of animals. Very well taken care of. Reasonable admission
Super awesome experience here. Quiet and perfect to let the little ones see animals up close and let run from animal to animal. Really reasonably priced and the staff was friendly and amazing at explaining things to the kids or us adult who had questions. Keep up the amazing job Trevor Zoo!
Pleasant; unique setting (school). Excellent ambience in country.

Cute zoo nice area great for the little ones.
Great place
It was a great trip we almost missed the red wolf but before we left I heard a howl, went back and there she was the 12 year old female and she was beautiful
Honestly so impressed with this place. For 5$, you get to see an awesome zoo. There are wallabies, monkeys, alpacas and more and if you love animals this is a must see! It wasn't crowded or commercialized which I really appreciated. Thank you!
It's a nice place to bring the family small though.
Awesome
Awesome! Love the zoo and the programs.
Good for kids and adults
Small but enough to pass an afternoon. Employees were very helpful.
Very nice zoo
Nice small zoo, but wish there was more. It's like the exhibitions at the fair
How many private high schools have a fully operational zoo?!! And the students work there. Vital educational component. Mostly humane habitats.
Very quaint, cozy, zoo
Nice place to take the kids for an hour or two
Specimens gathered from all over the world, including some which are very rare, such as the Red Panda. The local high school's students do most of the zoo-keeping, which makes the exhibits even more impressive. A webcam displays activity at the zoo, in certain cages.
I love this place the staff are nice and the animals are amazing.
Very nice little zoo!

Well worth the money
Beautiful place
I love this place. Glad to know there is a zoo close to home. Ample parking and easy to get to the zoo. Its not a large zoo but big enough to visit with the family. The gift shop is tiny I wish it could be bigger.
Nice zoo! Small enough to walk through and not have little ones get overwhelmed. Very tranquil!
Low key, stress free, and perfect for the little kids. Plan on 2 hours max exploring the grounds and watching the animals. Plenty of small exhibits for the little kids to check out. Peaceful too! Plan on checking out the feeding schedule too. The bobcat was hungry today! We will certainly plan on returning soon.
Beautiful zoo
Nice zoo and easy to see all of the animals! The staff are great!
Great small area to see animals and your donations help a good cause
It was beautiful and clean.
Amazing place
cute little zoo, friendly, helpful staff. will visit again.
Lots of animals, not much for benches around. Inclosures were pretty overgrown this spring. It was difficult to see some of the animals. Overall, a great place to bring the kids.
It is a little far from downtown and sometimes I could not get internet signal in the zoo (ATnT). but overall it is reasonable price and good atmosphere for toddlers. I am willing to visit here again with family. it just takes 1 hour. I could not find any place for lunch, but I could have lunch in the school. It is small but not busy. good for kids. it is 6 dollar per adult.
Small little zoo to view at your own pace. Love the idea it's a school zoo!
Perfect little zoo
Great small zoo.
One time I saw a baby wallaby escape and get chased by some of the zookeepers. He hopped back into his pen like it was a game he like playing. It was pretty cool. My favorites are the red pandas....so cute! The zoo is great and the grounds are beautiful. Definitely worth a visit!
A nice little zoo. Very cheap to get in at only $6 a person for adults. Had a good time while I was there and the staff is very friendly.
Beautiful little zoo in the heart of Dutchess County. Great collection of animals, including Red Pandas, Lemurs, Red Wolves, Cranes, and many more. Excellent conservation message and educational experience. Fun for the whole family and great for little kids.
Small personal zoo
Awesome

I donated a 15 year old Red Ear Slider Turtle to the Zoo in 2016 and I went to visit. I'm very happy that she is doing well. They can live up to 35 years.
Great zoo with a variety of animals. The animals are well taken care of. I've been there 4 times and still haven't had the chance to see the red pandas.
Was not expecting such a variety of animals. Not huge which is great with smaller kids
This place was very interesting. The 1st thing that I notice were that the monkeys were happy. And that's very important when going to the zoo a seeing the animals being happy. I also love the owls and The Fox it was very surprising to see him come out. Can't wait to go back to see the beavers.
Very cute little place. I went with my son for a field trip. We loved the red pandas but the lemurs definitely steal the show.
It is a great little zoo. It takes about an hour to get through the entire thing and my 2 and 4yo can walk threw it without a problem.
Nice, peaceful place.

An absolute must to visit... what a beautiful place.
Educational
I had no idea there was a zoo here, and it was an awesome discovery. We visited in the middle of the week in Winter and essentially had the entire place to ourselves. There is a wide variety of animals and they all look very happy and healthy. The marmosets and lemurs were big highlights because both were excited for the attention and very playful. Some displays and animals are housed inside, so even in cold weather there are things to see. A great little destination for anybody that enjoys nature or animals.
Wonderful small local zoo! Great for families!
Awesome local zoo. Surprising amount of animals for location, very well maintained, ran and cared for.
Cute little zoo and doesn't cost too much
Great little zoo
My daughter loved it it was awesome sharing a childhood memories memory with her and my husband who's not from here
Small zoo that is fun for little kids. The largest animal they had was a wolf.
Pretty nice little zoo tucked away off the beaten path across from a private school in the woods . Figure on an hour or two tops. Try and catch one of the feedings if you can. See if you can spot the otters on the way in or out over the bridge. (Hint: Look along the fence near the falls as they slink above and below the surface.)
Fun!
Love it here.
Great little zoo. About a 2 hour walk through at a good pace. Great, knowledgeable staff. Inexpensive. A great place for an afternoon adventure.
This a nice little zoo. I like that it’s part of a school and open every day. The grounds are clean and properly maintained. The animals look healthy and in good condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my visit for the most part. The only thing I didn’t like is that a couple of the animals seem to have psychological issues. I am not an animal behaviorist so I could be very wrong about this. And I understand these animals can’t be returned to their natural environments. But if it’s true perhaps they can be retired and given a place where they aren’t exposed to visitors.
Great community zoo!!very organic and good landscape
Fun place for the kids
Nice assortment of rare animals. Great for children.
A lovely place, but so much poison ivy!
Excellent place to bring a family or spend some time.
Millbrook School allows egress to their lands for equestrians. Trevor Zoo is fascinating yes, and dear owner, Google wouldn't include the Horse Trial Event. It was Google's mistake giving one star as that was not how I marked your venue . I apologize for the confusion.
Low price, great staff, and beautiful animals.
Beautiful area and great little zoo. Traveled a little to far for such a small zoo haha but it was enjoyable and would go again.
Definitely not 180 animals. More like 18. Thankfully it’s cheap but wasn’t worth the time at all
Terrific place to walk around with your grandchildren, again and again and again and again and...
Quaint and quality
Surprisingly great zoo. What a great learning opportunity for the students.
Absolutely LOVE this place. I've been going since I was a kid so its fun to be able to bring the nephew now
Even in chilly weather, we were able to see animals. Such a nice little gem hidden away in Millbrook!
Awesome zoo loved it !!
Always an enjoyable trip! This trip the kids were on a mission to find a ram...
Who knew this little gem was here??? It's small, but perfect for children. It has a nice vibe. Only thing is there is no food to buy and nothing nearby so pack a lunch.
It's a cute little zoo. Love that it has a variety of animals to look at. My 1.5 year old loved it.
We go every year we come up to the area.
Small zoo with endangered animals. The zoo is part of Millbrook High School. Great for anyone but especially smaller kids, kids who get over whelmed in big places, those who can't walk far, etc. It was very cheap to get in & quite enjoyable.
Beautiful place. Very peaceful & serene. Well kept. Nice gift shop.
Great little zoo!
Small but fun
Great day at the zoo. Wife, kid and I had a great time. Definitely recommend
Wonderful little zoo! Definitely worth the visit.
This is a great little zoo for little kids. You can go through the whole thing in just a couple of hours. Only problem was that quite a number of animals were hidden and you had to go back to hopefully see them.
So nice
A normal zoo at school
Great place, inexpensive, Wonderful displays and great animals. Great place for children
A nice, small zoo to spend a few hours outdoors
Great little zoo. Relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. Nice gift shop that supports the school. Great to see high school students working and learning. Yes some animal areas are a bit stinky but they are hot weather animals that are being kept in a very cold location. Close up experiences.
Great learning place. They have it set up for animals as best they can in their space. Seem very concerned and caring
Great place for the family and great educational experience for the kids.

This is a wonderful, small little zoo. It's well kept and easy to navigate with many interesting animals.
A fantastic experience! You'll encounter a wide variety of exotic animals right here in rural NY! Admission is free for young children and only $10 for adults. My children had a blast there and we will be going back soon, they love the otters. Make sure to print driving directions before heading there because cell service is minimal.
Nice quiet zoo. Love the red pandas and wolves. I've still never seen the bobcat or the coati.
So cool that this nice little zoo is in our backyard! My kids love it.
Perfect for families
Great small zoo with friendly staff and you get so much for so little $
Such a cool little zoo. Everything is well taken care of, the staff and animals look very happy.
Very pleasant atmosphere, great for groups lots of fun
Me and my family love it zoo
This zoo is wonderful and fun, especially for families with young children. My only criticisms are that the reptile house and monkey house were so stinky (absolutely putrid smelling is more accurate) that we couldn't enjoy seeing the animals inside. However, the monkey exhibit does feature some outdoor cages that allowed us to see those animals. Overall, we had a really good experience at this zoo. It's completely fenced in, the staff are all very nice and informative, and the other exhibits were wonderful.
A delightful little zoo. It's very peaceful there too. Must visit: red pandas
Red pandas !!! Family oriented zoo. Small but very well kept. Knowledgeable staff to answers your kids questions.
Enjoyed our visit. A small zoo that we were able to walk through within 2 hours. Most of the area is well shaded. Disappointed that we didn't see two of the animals as they were hiding. And, very disappointed with the very short staff provided educational information at the bobcat location. Did not bother going to the rest of the scheduled talks. Plan to visit again with another family member.
Great zoo. It's small but we'll kept and my daughter loves it.
Took our 3 year old grandson. Perfect. Not too overwhelming and lots of animals you don't see anywhere else.
Love this zoo - small enough that my toddler can walk it and a good mix of exotic and common animals.
Great place for kids!
Beautiful place. Very peaceful & serene. Well kept. Nice gift shop.
Nice place to take the kids
Cute little zoo
Great for kids, very peaceful and tranquil. Friendly and courteous staff.
Small park but decent animals
