Great local attraction for the kids. They can get up close. The price is reasonable and it's nearby.

Rajesh Kumar Chendru

Enjoyed an unplanned trip to action wild life. The bisons, bulls, Elks and many more wild animals roaming freely. Kids will love this place.

Dylan Brown

This place was awesome. My kids enjoyed it. Good way for them to run around without haveing to constantly watch them

stewballs54 .

Awesome place, It’s owned by a family, not a huge corporation, very inexpensive and I really enjoyed the museum,. The pictures we have of our 4 and 2 yr old Grand children feeding the animals are priceless and some thing they will enjoy looking at long after we are gone. What you get for the money , I can’t see how anyone could give less than 5 stars

Matthew Wright

Interesting to see various wild animals in an open setting, but the type of animals were not all that impressive besides the zebra. There were also no predatory species whatsoever, so that was quite disappointing to me. Great place for kids, but most adults would probably be a little deflated. All and all though, not a bad place to kill a couple hours at for the price.

Incredibly invigorating. Beautiful woods, colorful playground toys, and large pastures for deer and other animals. Lush and wooded grounds. Oppotunities for children to feed animals. Indoor displays too. Our family took 20 photos of children and parents, smiling gleefully.

Not much to see

Drove an hour just to find out you were closed when I called on Friday to confirm you'd be open. It's not even due to weather as it's just cloudy. Incredibly disappointed!

My husband and I came across this place while looking for antique markets. So glad we did!! It is just great!! Very reasonable admission fee and $5 for a big container of food! The animal enclosures are large and clean. You can see that the animals are very well cared for and healthy. We had such a great time. The animals ate friendly and we just loved the petting barn. You can feed baby kids and lambs bottles it was just wonderful. There was also the sweetest little donkey that loved to be pet. And we actually pet a zebra!! We highly recommend this petting zoo Wish we lived closer but hope to get back one day. It is worth the 2 hr drive

We drove an hour to find that it was closed. The website should be updated or taken down. My fault. I probably should have called first.

They have a zonkey you can pet! Can't ride it though, which kinda sucks.

I was there with my family which included 3 children. When leaving the facility the elderly man who works there and drives around in a red Hummer accosted me and my family. He placed his hands in and on my vehicle. We were leaving and I told him that I would call the police. He used profane language and vocalized threats. He's fortunate that I de escalated the situation and we drove off. He broke the law and made us feel threatened by his awful behavior. Avoid this place and protect your safety from this deeply troubled and unsafe individual. It's a shame because we did enjoy the animals and feeding the goats etc.

It was so so until we decided to stop at the museum and live animals that have been hunted killed and stuffed for cheap amusement are on display my fiance didn't believe they were real until an employee told us that they kill animals for the displays.

Robert Giuliani

My wife and I brought the kids here when they were probable 12 or 13 years of age. A wonderful experience all around. That was a dozen years ago. Still have wonderful memories and the photos we took back at that time.

I loved the place. You get to drive at your own pace. If anyone's behind you, it is quite easy to park over to the side. You get to stand very close to the animals and get a great view. There's a petting area where you can feed animals. The only downside is the road is pretty rough. You need to drive extremely slow. It is best to go with a high car like a truck, jeep, or suv. Get prepared to walk on muddy terrain. Great adventure trip.

Great place to bring young kids for a few hours!

Nice clean park kids loved it

This zoo is perfect for any age group, you can literally spend all day here. If you are looking for close encounter with the animals, I highly suggest this place. The best thing is able to drive through each section in a hot day. (Bring hand sanitizer if you are planning to feed the animals.)

Nice place to go for the day. Not a lot of animals, and the Safari probably isn't a good idea if you are driving a car, but we had a nice time.

We paid $38 for a family of 4 to visit this place. It is essentially a goat farm with a playground. I mean feeding the goats with in the petting zoo was fun. But that was it. And we paid $5 to feed them. The Safari consisted of a long gravel road next to a fenced in pen. We saw 2 animals. A deer. And an emu.

Had a great time it was bigger than I thought as far as the drive around Safari wasn't bad I mean some of the reviews on here for Google I don't think are accurate I think the place was really great the animals for the most part had more than ample room running around it was really just I'm surprised it was not more people there I would definitely go back I would bring my grandkids

I traveled from NY with my nieces - what I thought was going to be an amazing experience turned out horrible when I went to drive thru the "safari" my car hit every single big rock that was in the middle of the road and nowhere to go around. Highly disappointed and a waste of my money. Not to mentioned the "petting zoo" was mainly goats and 2 peacocks and 1 freaken pig. Waste of my time.

What a great resource for kids and adults alike to learn more about the animals in their state and around the world.

It was all worth it for the zebra and the bison; however, I felt that the advertisement of all the animals wasnt quite accurate as the majority were farm animals. We saw zero animals on the safari, which was really a let down as I expected it to be an open area for the animals to roam and not driving around an enclosure. We bought a $5 bucket of food at the gate only to find out that in the barn we couldn't use the food and had to buy the same food in smaller containers for the goats. (I actually saw the same food being redistributed to smaller cups.) I also saw signs of a rabies advisory that was a little unsettling. If theres a possibility of rabies they should let people know PRIOR to entering the facility. The museum was sorta cool. But like I said, I mostly loved the zebra and the bison.

Not much variety in animals. Not very good roads. The animals condition weren't great. Needs some love at that place

This place is NOT worth your money at all. The safari is pointless you’d see no animals at all. They mostly only have goats which is an animal you’d see a lot so that pointless. The petting zoo is the best part because you can interact with animal but, “at your own risk”. The way to get places are kinda confusing. The museum is pretty cool and i’d recommend that to see because you can actually see animals there although they aren’t real. I don’t recommend spending 8-10 dollars on a waste.

In response to Peter's review; the elderly man is in his 80's. He is not violent at all. He does not get personal space, but I think this is a major misunderstanding and your review should be removed. He is honestly incredibly friendly and I would imagine that maybe you did something that you were not supposed to and upset him. For the business itself, it's beautiful, and the amenities are plenty including really clean facilities by the entrance. I was about to load the car to head there, but you are not open today :(

Very, very nice place. It's almost like a safari, where you get to drive through it, but also pull over and get out with the kids to look at and feed the animals. We spent about 3 hours there. Do not miss the museum!!!

I wouldn’t waste your money. They charge 10.00 for EACH person. Which would be fine if they had animals. We brought our 18 month old son and they had about 8 different species. A lot of land and little animals. The petting zoo had goats,1 pig and 2 peacocks and the safari had 2 ANIMALS. Was hugely disappointed for the amount of acres they have.

Possibly one of my favorite places on the planet. Have been taking the kids here since they were small and they've always loved it. They're 15 and 17 now and still enjoy it as much as always. The petting zoo itself is worth the trip. Awesome place.

Territorialpissingsz

Hardly any animals, staff was rude, didn’t even get to use all of my feed on the animals because there was barely any there, the drive in safari sucked, was expecting the animals to come up to you at your car window but instead it was an enclosed space that you drive around and there was only three animals that I saw there in total in the drive in safari. Some Animals didn’t even look well kept. Was not worth spending 33 dollars over just petting and feeding two animals .

Christine Sedita

This was a great place to bring my children. They have quite a few animals in wide-open spaces. They have a great petting zoo barn which includes a llama, donkey, pigs and baby goats. My children got to bottle feed the baby goats. They have all kinds of things there, such as, miniature horses, bison, and even a zebra. Their musuem have life-like taxidermy animals in a panorama view including vegetation, rocks and characteristic displays. There's a small playground outside for the kids too.

Jessie Ladasky

Deb Rich Watkins

A total waste of our money. We saw zero animals on the safari and almost lost our minivan in the ruts. The petting zoo consisted of goats in stalls that you could feed with food you buy. The extent of petting was their noses. The animals we did see were mostly farm animals and not too many of those. Very run down, The museum had lots of stuffed animals but nothing else and that was the highlight of out trip.

This place is great. You drive around and then stop to look at and feed the animals. You can see zebras, goats, and various kinds of horses and cattle. You can also fees the goats with a baby bottle. The taxidermy museum is pretty cool too.

Bryan Warnock

Really not what I expected. Doesn't have a diverse range of animals. Museum was a joke.

Seamus Bradley

There is a diversity of animals in large open pens, areas with rocks and dynamic topography seem to be void of animals. The safari had all but 3 ordinary looking deer in a huge enclosure?? Not much else to say about this place. It was interesting to see the animals up close but, for $10 entrance fee, it was a little underwhelming. Doesn't seem like they put much effort into attracting people to come there either. No signs explained what animals were, what they ate, where they came from, how they got there, why they're there, etc.

Elizabeth Mazzaferro

Nice place to take young kids. You can drive through and park your car to get out so you can get closer to the animals. Some of the animals you can buy food for and feed them by hand. There is also a small barn full of little goats. You can buy feed or milk to give them. Not an expensive place. They also have a museum and picnic benches so you can sit and eat. You can spend a nice day there looking at animals and relaxing.

If you are real zoo goer this is not going to be one of the best ways you've ever been to but it is a great first Zoo for a young child. We brought our niece here and she had a blast. The cost is acceptable and there is a barn where you can Feed & Pet some animals which are mostly goats.
