We went for an animal encounter with my family visiting from out of town (We didn't stay in the house). Everything about this place, from the grounds and barns, to the exciting array of animals to the knowledgeable keepers was everything we hoped for. We were greeted by Keaton, led to fill out waivers and shown the horses. Then we proceeded to meet the adorable long haired donkey, a zonkey and a few more horses. Along the way, we also got to meet Kili and her sweet pup. Next up we interacted with some adorable rabbits and got to feed them cilantro (who knew bunnies liked cilantro?!). The highlight came in the next two barns. 1) the tortoise barn houses not only the smallest / youngest giant tortoises I have ever encountered but also the sweetest barn cat, Catniss. AND 2) the kangaroos! Both Bindi and Rooney were friendly, willing to interact and so so cute. They're the perfect blend of exotic and awkward. With the Kangaroos, we were able to interact in a small group, feed them a bit and hear about their individual temperaments as well as general kangaroo facts (Keaton provided so much information and was very willing to answer any and all questions we had). All in all, the experience was wonderful and I CANNOT wait to return. Maybe next time, we will book the AirBNB house since it looked AMAZING.

We stayed at Zoo Chateau for a week while work was being done on our house. What an incredible experience! The house was comfortable and luxurious all at once. The views were spectacular. Rachel, Keley and Megan were amazing hosts! The animal interactions were educational and fun. My daughter didn't want to leave! Highly recommend!

Nice intimate experience with kangaroos. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. There is a cap to the number of participants and the amount of granola you can feed the roos which was nice. Shows they genuinely care about the animals. Would definitely recommend checking it out. The facility itself was very nice

My wife and I had a blast feeding the kangaroos. We've had a very intimate moment with the animals, it was so up close and personal, and of course super fun. The staff are also very knowledgeable and super friendly. We will definitely come back to see the animals again. Thank you for an excellent experience.

I am the UPS Delivery driver for Zoo Chateau so I only know that it is run by the Crawford family who are very nice & caring . We all know that our pets mean the world to us Big or small , the animals that need rescue or to be cared for til they find a forever home are in great hands at Zoo Chateau. This is all I think to know.

We had a wonderful visit here, feeding and learning about the rescue animals! The house was roomy and new. Very nice! Gorgeous scenery!

Kangaroos? In Colorado? I mean c’mon, that alone deserves a 5 star rating. But then you throw in the incredible hosts/zookeepers, the friendliness of all of the animals (including the zonkey, rabbits and tortoises), and the beautiful views and vibes…wow. 100% would recommend to a friend, family member or stranger.
